Do you still exist? At least, on this diaryland thing? If so, there is a password block to it and I would love it! If not, is there some place I can find you at (online I mean)? I miss our conversations.
from dreamsmasher :
I AM A LOSER. I was weened on the Beatles, and I couldn't get that?!?! Thanks for the 10pts....and not berating me!!!!
from dreamsmasher :
okay, this was my other guess, but I can only get the artist...David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust days....I am so ashamed of myself for not being able to get this....don't tell my friends!!! I'd hate to lose my standing in the music wars....
from dreamsmasher :
Hey!!! your "Sweet Lorretta..." Would that be "Rock 'n' Roll" VElvet Underground?? I may have gotten that song name wrong..but the tune is in my head and no VU cd's in sight....
from popscene :
Okay, dammit. You have a BUTTON MAKER!? I want one so, so badly. Can we make buttons sometime?
from smoog :
The secret is to dip each banner in a special blend of patchouli, jasmine, and Dorito powder. Sacrificial chicken optional.
from dailynightly :
Happy birthday, yo.

A: I wouldn't be surprised if GWB *doesn't* own a pair of spurs and a holster. He's a Texan, li'l missy. (Hey, even if I'm faux british most of the time without meaning it, I can go all texan... I live further west than texas!) B: You have a button maker? I am jealous. I totally want a button maker. I'll be so punk rawk (note spelling) then, with all the buttons I'd have. Haha. Okay, the punk thing was sarcastic, but I do wish I had a button maker. C: Everyone loves a wartime president. Except Nixon, I guess. But they tend to get reelected. So avoiding the war would have been quite silly, wouldn't it? D: (why hasn't she shut up yet, you must be thinking... and so am I, really) I'm an American with no air conditioning! Never had it! We have it in one of our cars. But then, I live in a climate that doesn't really require it. Also, my grandma, who lives in Los Angeles, has both air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, so they're not mutually exclusive. Sometimes I wonder if Trading Spaces puts the fans in just so they can bitch about taking them out on camera. Muahaha.
from chadin :
By the way, I am glad you are back. I missed you and lovely templet.
from indie-snob :
Hello, I just reviewed two White Stripes shows I saw and thought you may be interested. I have a ton of other concert and album reviews here, too. Check it out, thanks!
from dailynightly :
Hurrah, thanks! It would seem that Much More Music is always showing things I wish were on in the U.S... I have a copy of the Monkees reunion special that someone taped of that channel. (I also envy you Clone High. I loved that show and MTV, the bastards, stopped showing it after the mock-Tommy episode. Fortunately, I taped that one.)
from dailynightly :
Gah. I messed up my computer and as a result am using a prehistoric browser, so I have to sign here rather than the guestbook. The Who: *girly squeal* Heh heh. Was TKAA on a Canadian channel? It's out of print, you know, at least in the US. If it repeats, I'm vaguely wondering if there's some way I can bribe you to tape it. Anyway. I am rapidly becoming obsessed with the White Stripes. I'm crazy about Jack's voice. I guess I should go write a proper entry rather than filling people's notes pages.
from chadin :
What is this shit about a password and stuff?? Oh, by the way, I have two other banners simimlar to the one you clicked on. Keep a look out for them. Oh, and can I have your password please?
from lapisllong :
thank you so much for the note! i look up to most the good designers on beautify and see some of the others that look like train wrecks and feel like i'm just beyond a train wreck but not quiet up to the others. that's why i'm not on there, yet. well that and i do free unique customs for fun and don't need that much advertising. otherwise, i'd have to shut down or allow numerous people to have the same template . . . and i won't. but just to have that nte makes me feel all glowy and happy!!!
from chordchild :
thanks for joining the Mr. Rogers diaryring. there's no one in this world exactly like you. :)

I change them frequently-ish ;) currently they are lyrics from Standing (again by VNV) - you really should listen to them *grins* have a nice day :)
from ladyofamber :
aaaah, I understand now... *ickle apologetic smile* nah, those sentences that are in the entry task bar are lyrics from Beloved by VNV Nation, the others are from DarkAngel (also by VNV Nation)... sorry for jumping to conclusions... I'm famed for that :/ *hugs*

Read up and let me know what you think. I'll be looking forward to hearing more from you, both in notes/guestbooks, and when your diary kicks it up again. Good luck fixing the design!

from saiyanstar :

Hey, I saw the note you left. Well, they're Mandy Moore's eyes. If you go here: http://hottie_angel2k5.tripod.com/eyes.html (where the HTML code is), it says who's eyes they are and a link to her site. ~Ashley
from dailynightly :
I certainly hope you saw the Simpsons tonight! (Nov. 10th) God, Mick was so funny! (Okay, so Mick's my favorite....) Keith was good, too....
from blindsten :
Woo Snow! (I hate gold membership banner, by the way). I just wanted to comment on your Mick/Pope comparisson (or rather, the Post's - that's where it was from right?). So amusing. He he he. It would have been better if it had been Keith though. Just cause he's pruney and amusing. He he he.
from goodsandwich :
Of COURSE Paulie played bass. What are people thinking? I guess we associate guitars and vocals.
from neko-carre :
Welcome to the Cancerians diaryring. :)
from blindsten :

from scanzilla :
I love how you love classic rock. Me too. You can definitely quote me on my profile of you. :)
from goodsandwich :
Thanks for reading! How did you come across me?
from blindsten :
Guess who's gettin' a vibrator (or something equally as delightful) from her ol' pal Stenner? You! That's right! And you won't have to wait until Christmas if you'd like to see me this Thanksgiv' weekend. he he he. I'm going to go to the birdwatching tower sunday or monday morn. You and your fam (ie. the sisters - like you didn't know) are welcome to join...or if just YOU wanted to come there might be a treat in store ;)
from lizardspace :
Well, I got things jazzed up a little bit. And don't feel bad or freakish -- obviously, someone needed to point my ass in the right direction, and I promise to give you proper credit when I do my next update.
from ergoatlas :
Glad you are addicted. I appreciate that you appreciate my writing, and that you are also clearly interesting yourself. Thanks for reminding me to recall my porn years (not as interesting as you are imagining).
from lizardspace :
To answer your note to me, I must say that your layout is quite Mondrian and I like it, but the interface doesn't seem to work so well. Could be my machine, could be me, could be html. Please believe me when I say that I am 100% (well, maybe only 95%) html-impaired, and I would absolutely LOVE to have a page that didn't depend on Diaryland. Though I am, indeed, a graphic designer, none of what I do has anything to do with the web. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or the skill at this point to maintain a page on my own, so I need to use the Cliff's Notes. That said, I'm glad you like what I write, at least. :-)
from ergoatlas :
Thanks for taking the survey. Yes, I am always interested in possible new sexual conquests. How about you?
from blindsten :
011110010110111000101000101 *he he he* I'm so DESPERATELY excited for thanksgiv' and I am excited for YOU to see the RS's! How thrilling! Because I know how wired I get when CSN are in town. 3 Degrees of Clement Greenberg! When I read that entry I didn't even THINK that it applied to myself! But it does of course! Wow. I feel so spectacular. It would mean more if I understood him better :).
from blindsten :
i secretly really like my name :) it reminds me of "blind pew" from yellowbeard. anyways i do have a purpose here. i read your last entry and 20 dollars for a wooden bead cutain is REALLY good. like they sell them downtown w'loo for 40. i really want one too. don't buy one until i come visit (at some point i'll come home and we can meet in t.o.) and we'll be frivolous together. love stenner post script - fucking dave and mark really made me mad tonight.

I found your diary because you were one of nine people who also like Jennifer Egan. Your latest entry is amazing. I completely agree with most of the things you say. It was sad, but those who died weren't necessarily heroes. Ahh, reading it was like watching Bill Maher all over again and thinking I must be smart because someone else thinks like I do.
