Where is clarity25? Recent vacation blog - http://twoshotsoftequila.blogspot.com/ "Eric's" Photobucket account - http://s795.photobucket.com/home/sketchbookshark/index
from pinkbowshoe :
wow. I'm so sorry I haven't been keeping up w/ my reading. Sounds like you need a big hug, and lots of laughs. Well, here's a laugh--Monday night comign home from school I had a migraine and you know you can't see too well w/ those..and KS had opened the door for me since he knew i was coming home. Well, I walked in---to the screen door full speed and with my head down. UGH. That ddin't help my headache..but it sure was funny! Keep your head up girlie. You're doing the right things by workign out, and taking steps forward. Dont' compare yourself to others. Instead, look @ yourself, and your progress. It will help w/ the tears. and as for shane, skimp it up for him..maybe dress up and intice him. He'd like that I'm sure. And it'll make you feel good, too! *much love girl* ((hug))
from dieselengine :
yeah! Go for it...new jobs for everybody!
from clarity25 :
That job sounds great! Good luck! I hope you get it!!
from less-than3 :
yay! good luck!
from sandandfog :
omg! great news! good luck and be sure to tell us when you, of course, get the job!
from blazingstar :
Congratulations! Sounds like a great opportunity!
from humanspirit :
I love the decor!
from less-than3 :
love the vases...feel better <3
from clarity25 :
I loved the pictures that you shared. That wall clock is awesome. I truly hope you feel better soon.
from sandandfog :
Ugh! Hope you get to feeling better!
from sandandfog :
I really think it was kevin's time to go...my favorite is still Taylor:)
from clarity25 :
It's times like this I wish I had American Cable. I would be putting in my two cents about each contestant and I know I'd be watching it. It's interesting to read though..:) I feel somewhat connected to popular culture. lol
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Heehee. Yup, Chris is teh hottness. :) I'm still partial to Taylor, though. I'm always attracted to the odd, quirky types.
from sandandfog :
as you know, I sympathize with you..There is no saying anything to my husband. If I do, he ends up turning the tables on me somehow and I feel worse..Hope things are going better for you!
from dieselengine :
I moved diaries and still got found. If somebody knows where your diary is, they will look to find the next one. TRUST ME. Unless you move to another host and use a completely different name and very tricky coding, you will get found. Actually, even then you will get found. I should have just stayed locked at my old diary and not bothered with the hassle of moving. It is stifling to be locked but it is a must.
from clarity25 :
Congrats on the remodeling! I can totally understand your excitment. I look forward to seeing pics! P.S. Thank you so much for your caring note!
from sandandfog :
I wanna see pics!!
from less-than3 :
ok, i've been bad and not keeping up with AI, but from the pictures alone, brenna needed to be voted off based on her eyebrows alone. she looks EVIL! eep!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Heehee...you tell S that he's a smart man! I don't like the blonde girl either :)
from humanspirit :
I just read the entry about your student's paper...that was pretty funny, thanks for the laugh...
from pinkbowshoe :
that guy is HOTT!! brownie points for pointing out that hottie-thanks girl. whoo--he got my blood boilin! :)
from dieselengine :
I feel the same way about Chris but I won't admit it openly because I vowed after I broke up with my last boyfriend (bald-headed as well) that I was done with the baldies...but he does rock my world as well. GRR!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I, too, am an American Idol junkie! :) I love, love LURVE Taylor. There is just something about him. I told Michael I wanted to adopt him.
from pinkbowshoe :
Have you noticed, too that no shoes really fit her either? She's so skinny that her feet don't fill out SHOES! It's insane and I totally agree someone needs to set up an intervention-quickly.
from clarity25 :
lol, that report had me laughing. The stuff you have to put up with, oh my god. I don't even know how I could manage to keep a straight face. How could she perceive your conversation with her as "yelling"? She definitely sounded stoned.
from pinkbowshoe :
I know, I know. My orange bugger will RIP now. I was just over the whole convertible thing. If I had a beetle coupe like yours w/ a roof and all (like my old green one) then I would have just kept it. But now I got the grown up 06 Jetta, in a more subtle black.
from pinkbowshoe :
YAY! sun and the gym, what could make a girl feel more refreshed and happy?? Oh yeah, a drink! have fun tonight.
from sandandfog :
Thanks so much hon, your note really made me feel better:) My brother is a really smart guy and he's never done anything really bad to anyone...it's just he acts like he could care less about me as a sister. The thing is, I see this alot in my life. Not many people I hang out with, really only once close friend. I just take it as a reflection of myself unfortunately:(
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
The school systems need more teachers like you :)
from clarity25 :
Hey, I hope you had a great Saturday night and took some pics! Yes, My friends treated us to a few drinks and we basically staggered home. It was much NEEDED though, Your note was so sweet and made me smile. Thank you for caring!! I hope your Mother's birthday goes well)
from ticktrix :
I was able to get profilesnoops to work ... but, you're right, today it's not working. Damn.
from pinkbowshoe :
I couldn't figure out how it worked either??
from clarity25 :
I think you handled that situation really well. I don't know how I'd be able to do it. What a handful highschool students must be! P.S. Oh man, I have to check out that profilesnoops thing. I'm curious now... I had no idea that was a possibility!
from sandandfog :
good lord..I don't know how you do your job. There is NO WAY I'd teach! lol I'd have a nervous breakdown. Good for you standing up to those kids!
from sandandfog :
It does work! Although I found it kind of creepy when I saw a couple of people looking at my site!:) Thanks though!
from humanspirit :
Whoa! That is really creepy. (It works!) It's good to know these things. Thanks to the person who shared that site with you. :)
from humanspirit :
Oooh I am totally gonna try this. I want to know exactly who's looking at mine!
from dieselengine :
Yeah, I don't share the site with many people so I can kind of keep it to myself...bwa ha ha! But I did find that this creepy guy that Sean hates viewed my profile like 6 times yesterday. CREEPY!!
from rougelips :
Thanks for the note. Although, I do feel a lot better...and I'll get over it just like everything else. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for Shane to come back to you? Oh yeah, did anything come out of the incident with the dead flowers (did you tell anyone about it)?
from sandandfog :
ooo i got it to work..kind of disturbing actually...heh
from sandandfog :
I dont know if i did it right...but I put the code in. I never know exactly what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff lol.
from sandandfog :
Let me know if you get it to work..I'm kind of interested in it myself!
from humanspirit :
No, I don't think so. Although someone with more computer skills may know. You can see who's read your profile on friendster though (random fact, I know).
from pinkbowshoe :
wow. That's not right that the administration ignored your fear. i would be terrified, too. I'd just be careful and keep a look out and don't travel alone, etc. Maybe some of the friends are hard up on money. A lot of people are saving and scared of whats happening w/ gas, healthcare, etc. I wouldn't take those so personal, but the ones just saying if so and so goes...well f them. If you're not that close to them I'd just roll it off your back. Keep your head up.
from less-than3 :
oh my gosh, i'm so sorry. be careful. i'm thinking of you...xox
from sandandfog :
ugh, what a creep for leaving you some thing like that! sounds like you had a frustrating day. i hope tomorrow is better!
from dieselengine :
First of all, congrats on the weightloss. Second of all, I can't believe the principal didn't do anything about the roses and note. Ack. I hope things are ok.
from clarity25 :
Hey Congrats on the weight loss:). I hope you're having a good week!
from pinkbowshoe :
giiirl-the same thing happened to me years ago. I had mono and they gave me steriods (of course) to boost me from being a lazy ass because of being sick. Well, they tell you not to do anythign strenuous but lordy, I was feeling mighty fine and was a workout a holic! haha. I know what you're feelin like. Just be safe. :)
from less-than3 :
awesome! congrats! :)
from clarity25 :
It sounds like the medication is working for you on a lot of levels, I know what you mean. I had a medication that I was prescribed once in college that had me completely wired and accomplishing so much. I could see why people took speed. But make sure you don't forget to eat and sleep! :) Enjoy your weekend and thank you so much for your last note.
from blazingstar :
Haha! Wow, glad the medication's working out for you!
from pinkbowshoe :
Wow. Isn't that just like females to start some drama? Sheesh. I'd just enjoy yourself and occasionally check on her, and drag her into whatever your doing..and if she doesn't have a good time it's not b/c of you. Enjoy yourself, if she's not having a good time or doesn't wanna be there..she'll leave and do her own thing, and probly blab about ya in school but so what. If she is like that and all snooty you dont' need that person bringing you down. You have great friends. I'd say keep the friendship w/ her on a not so deep level. enjoy!
from sandandfog :
That is great! I'm so happy for you that she may be moving back!
from humanspirit :
Athanks hun. I hope you are feeling better! (Everyone is getting a bout of the flu around here...knock on wood it hasn't caught up to me yet.)
from clarity25 :
Oh, I just read your last note. I'm doing better! I just updated my photoblog about 20 minutes ago. Thank you so much for your caring concern and your get well wishes!
from clarity25 :
I hope you feel better soon, I also spent Valentines day in bed..and not in a good way either. Shane sounds wonderful though, I hope your health improves quickly. Happy Be-lated V-Day
from less-than3 :
happy v-day! get well soon!
from dieselengine :
i hope you get better soon!
from blazingstar :
Aww...feel better soon!
from pinkbowshoe :
Breathe strips rock. Sorry you're under the weather. I'm stuck home in snow doing laundry and homework. But, I procrastinated it yesterday so it's gotta be done today. :) Hope you feel better soon!
from sandandfog :
Those breath right strips are amazing aren't they? Although, sometimes it feels like hell when I peel them off! hee. I hope you have a good time on the coast when you do go!
from less-than3 :
aww. feel better hon. xoxox
from spunkyhottie :
Hey girly i would love to learn more about you so like can i have your password??Love you girly~Cheyanna~
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Hahahahah! My IM phobia is almost as bad as my phone phobia. It took me, like, a year to finally IM Meredith :) You're not the lone ranger in that department!
from clarity25 :
I just caught up with all your entries. I'm so sorry about all the struggles you've been through. I just wanted you to know I'm here and reading. I'll send you an E-mail tomorrow, Oh and if you ever want to Chat you can reach me at Blueclarity25 (aol instant messenger AND yahoo Instant Messenger) I'm not on all that often, but sometimes. (once or twice a week) And THANK YOU. But I'll get more into that later.
from less-than3 :
i am FLOORED. just...floored by the BS of that whole situation. i am SO SO SO Sorry. *hug*
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
OMG, you're right - she does look like Reese Witherspoon, especially in that first picture. I never noticed until now. :)
from pinkbowshoe :
Just saying it out in the open helps me. Cause it's such apersonal thing to keep the ED close to you and private. But to openly admit it and speak it out, is what really helped me. KS knows about it, and so he's aware of my *issues*. Howerver, I can't say that I'm completely healed. I almost went and fell into the rut after our Italian dinner. The full feeling got my skin in pins and needles. It's good that you're going to the gym. That helps, at least for me. All those endorphins do wonders. Hang in there girl. I know that's hard to swallow right now, but if you just get past those moments that you want to give into it, then you'll feel better that you were brave enough to say no to yourself. And as far as being a teacher, you're there to help the kids to not fall into our traps. YOu want better for them, as you will your own kids, and you are a great person for them, don't let anyone make you feel any differnt :)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I'm glad you're feeling at least a little bit better. It sounds like you are on the right track. xoxo
from less-than3 :
i love you and i'm behind you 100%. *hug* and that picture is SO CUTE! and that name is super cute as well. i love it. :) i'm just an email away if you need anything. xox
from pinkbowshoe :
Just checkin in to see if you're ok. ((hug)) Hope and wish all is well...M
from clarity25 :
I just read your last few entries and I'm so worried about you! I understand that circumstances in life can be so overwhelming that you need to take a break to work through them and you can't even verbalize them. I'm just so sorry that you're in so much pain and struggling. Please know that you can write me an E-mail anytime. I'm here and I'll do anything I can do to help.
from less-than3 :
cry for help or not, i'm here if you need me.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*hug*
from blazingstar :
Oh no...I wish I could do something to help...Just know that we're all rooting for you. I hope you get well soon.
from sandandfog :
We all seem to have these days. Just rest assured that I know how you feel...hugs!
from less-than3 :
*hug* you sounded like you need one.
from pinkbowshoe :
why do you think people don't want you in thier lives? Shane is married to you...FOR LIFE. He won't leave you hun. As far as girls goes, women are caddy, canniving biatches. Heck w/ them. They say most of us are lucky if we find one true friend in our lives. The rest are just life lessons, I guess? I don't know what to say, other than just focus on yourself and your well-being more-so than whatever they're doing and what everyone else is doing. Life has a way of balancing itself out. You just gotta keep riding the wave.
from humanspirit :
Oh, hun...I hate reading about you feeling blue. I wish I lived close to you, so we could have lunch together. I am sorry to say I have no advice for you. I just wish you the best and you are in my thoughts. This is yet another obstacle in life you have to jump over. Let me know how the doctor goes... PS I loved the story about your student, it made me smile :)
from pinkbowshoe :
*phew* So it's not just me. THANK GOODNESS! No, I haven't read much of your old one, but now that you mentioned it, I'm gonna spend sYeah, the fact that him and I kept talking over a year ago really got in the way of KS and I, but you're right. Since he dedided to stop talking to me, my life has gotten SO much better. And I think it's a good thing. It's just I know I'll see him, and get all nervous again. But, he wont talk to me, which helps the situation. Thanks for the insight, I needed that! :)
from dieselengine :
That is a great story about Raul...you are a great teacher! I know you said you don't treat him any different than the other kids but that just goes to show that you treat ALL the kids special. Rock on!
from pinkbowshoe :
How freakin sweet was that?! I wanted to bawl after reading that! *snif, snif* congratulations on that. I know that must make your world a lot brighter. Kids can do that. As far as Ms Asshole teacher goes..woohoo go celebrate: "ding, done the witch is dead!" haha.
from pinkbowshoe :
Awe, my girl!! I didn't think of that. That's a great flick.
from less-than3 :
girls just wanna have fun = CLASSIC MOVIE. :)
from clarity25 :
Thanks for sharing your views on the subject of meeting people on the internet. It made me feel a lot less alone in how I feel about the topic. I agreed and related to so much of what you wrote! I also agree about the getting drunk part. I would need to do that too in order too loosen up. Otherwise I'd be too nervous and stressed out.
from less-than3 :
i have no qualms really about giving my address to certain internet peeps, because i trust them. like i'd trust you with it. i don't think you're gonna come chop my head off in the middle of the night. but i am definitely nervous about meeting people for the first time from the 'net. and i agree with you...you and me, we'd be SOOOOOO f'n drunk! and then we'd totally be cool and BFF after that. hehehehe. :) but yeah, we'd be so wasted and tell each other how wasted and how nervous we were to meet up and "OH MY GOD I'M SO DRUNK I CAN'T SEEEEEEEEEEE" hehe. it'd be great. someday... :)
from pinkbowshoe :
I must not be good at explaning things..I mean over the top...not from under that the tp should come out! *grr* haha. Thanks girl.
from humanspirit :
You are the only person on my list that updates regularly...why on earth would you leave me? No, I'm only kidding (about the leaving me part). I remember the original purpose of your first diary...you have obviously overcome it and it is time to move on...if you feel it needs to be done. If you leave, you will be missed. You have to write in DL for your own good, not everyone else's. And you better keep your myspace page...it is an excellent way to keep in touch with far away friends. You can ignore the wierdo's! Anyway, don't leave DL haha!! And I accept your challenge...give me a few to think about it ;)
from pinkbowshoe :
I know I didn't write it before..but, you can't leave here! :)
from blazingstar :
Are you crazy? We love hearing about your life. Don't be silly. KEEP WRITING!
from clarity25 :
I have to join in the chorus of people urging you not to leave!! don't go!! That would be terrible if you fell off the face of the internet planet. I really hope you feel better soon and I'm sorry to hear you've been getting creepy MYSPACE messages. :(
from less-than3 :
i hopehopehope beyond ANYTHING that you don't leave!!! *sob* but if you decide to, will you at least keep in touch with me? :)
from sandandfog :
noooo you can't leave!
from pinkbowshoe :
I got into that Gastineau girls show. I even Tivo'd it...*gasp* hahaa. It's just funny. I'm a sucker for reality tv. I haven't been on my space lately. You know..the weird emails might be from your kids?!
from clarity25 :
I get down on myself too concerning my thighs. I go through weeks where I feel so self-conscious and low on my self-image. I know what you mean. Also I got crazy and dyed my hair dark reddish brown last night. It actually looks nice, but I'm thinking of putting in some highlights because it doesn't quite suit me. Somehow blond just kind of...fits.
from ecstasia :
Hey! Thanks for the fun Quizzes, guess what my super-hero name is crimson prime. What a jip. I think the generator thinks the word 'crimson' is tough or something. Bah.
from dieselengine :
DO NOT RUN if your ankle isn't healed. I know how gross one can feel with no exercise (after my surgery I had to wait 8 weeks before returning to "normal activity") but maybe you can ride a bike or swim or do something more low-impact? BE CAREFUL!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I got it! Thanks. :)
from sandandfog :
ok, let's go for a drink! I'm ready! hehe love the car and hope you are able to get it!
from less-than3 :
sweeeet ride. that was one of my options, before i bought the hyundai tucson. :) and i wish i lived nearby. we'd SO be out drinkin' right now.

I'm sorry about someone discovering your journal, I know exactly what you mean and how you feel about that. It's what also pushed me into locking up, even though I didn't want to either. It's just too stressful. You can always start a journal somewhere new once you get a fresh perspective, have more free time and things begin to look up for you. I could relate to what you said about not wanting to even update because you feel like you have nothing to write about, it's the same with me. When I'm in a slump, I just feel like everything is kind of monotonous, stressful and depressing. I REALLY hope you feel better soon, Thinking about you:)
from pinkbowshoe :
*gasp* locked?!
from sandandfog :
If you have to, you have to. I'll still be reading!
from ecstasia :
Oh! Two other pros - your hair will NEVER be softer, it is so weird. My hair is smooth and knot free. I normally get lots of knots on the back of my hair, where my suits and suit jackets twist and turn my hair up, but with this smooth hair it is knot free.
from ecstasia :
Hey there! Thanks for the note. I'll let you in on the specifics: My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy. The process works for very curly hair as well. I chose the hot process, basically the entire process is to remove moisture from the hair, so on humid days your hair is satiny soft. The process is long, and expensive. Long for me - I have shoulder length hair - it is about two and a half hours. First your hair is washed and then sprayed with this protective spray, then a solution is applied that 'breaks the curl bond'. That stays on for about fifteen minutes, but as long as it takes your hair to take in the treatment. Then hair is washed again and sprayed with the protective spray (like leave in conditioner) again. Then the hair is blown dry a bit (just to remove excess moisture) then flat-ironed This takes the longest because each teeny tiny section must be ironed, even baby hairs, and it can be a bit stressful because this hot iron is so close to your face so be sure you trust the hair stylist. Then a neutralizer is applied - again for as long until your hair 'takes' to it, usually ten minutes and then washed out and then you are done! Hair is blown dry and you cannot wash or get it wet for 48 hours. So it is an annoying process, but if you want straight hair for 6 - 8 months (that is how long it lasts) then it can be worth it. I suggest you get a regular hot iron treatment first to see what your hair is like straight and kind of settle in to it before you go with the permanent style. Touch ups are done only to the growth of the hair, but take just as long and are no less expensive. Growing out the stye is kind of weird b/c curly hair is at the roots and straight hair is at the tips.
from humanspirit :
oops I meant darlamay57...that's what happens when one doesn't proof read...LOL
from humanspirit :
Hey girly girl- email me your password purrty please. dalamay57@yahoo Have a nice day :)
from less-than3 :
ooh i hate that! i hate when i'm "stalking" and then i panic and have to go into emergency lockdown! and boring isn't necessarily bad, girl. at least it means no drama. :)
from rainforme :
thanks for the add to your favorites... do you share your password?
from ecstasia :
First off, thank you for the comment I plan to e-mail you over the weekend to respond properly, since I've been busy I am really behind on my reading but A. I adore your new layout - much easier to navigate and fresh looking and B. You are totally pretty, and your hair looks very nice, and your husband is a Mr. Cutie Cute.
from sandandfog :
we are all our own worst critics. the thing is, alot of us feel the same way you are feeling, about ourselves and our bodies. Most times people view us a completely different way than we view ourselves. We are much too hard on ourselves, arent we? Hugs.
from pinkbowshoe :
hey girl, yet another similarity in us. I used to associate my happiness w/ my blonde hair, and unhappiness/depression w/ my dark hair. But seriuosly...it's hair. I know thats easier said than done, but I've been there, too. Its whatever is inside you @ those times that makes you happy or not. Not your hair color. And Iknow..I've dyed my hair back and forth so many times b/c of my "theory". anyhoo..you look gorgeous, I agree. You're so pretty. Dont beat yourself up. I do the same thing, so I'm like the kettle caling the pot black or however that goes, but really...hang in there! this too shall pass.
from humanspirit :
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! I agree with everyone! Especially your smile...absolutely stunning! You have a wonderful man who loves you for who you are! Just remember that ;) And I like your new format too!
from clarity25 :
Yeah, I love smurfette. (I'm such a dork!) Eric had joked that Smurfette protecting my belongings with the little knife that she's holding. :). Okay... I have to get back to packing. Have a great week.
from dieselengine :
Uhm hello?!?! You are gorgeous. Seriously. You are thin, Maybe you were once thinner (weren't we all?!?) but seriously, you don't look like you need to lose weight. And the hair...I think it accents your pretty eyes a lot. But I know how easy it is to pick on one's self, I do it all the time. But trust me, you are a hot mamacita.
from clarity25 :
Great pictures! You're gorgeous! Don't ever doubt that for even a minute!
from less-than3 :
you look absolutely GORGEOUS, are you kidding me??? and you and shane are the cutest couple. awwwwww. <3333
from sandandfog :
you look great!!! and love the new layout!
from less-than3 :
*hug* hang in there hon.
from clarity25 :
"forgave" not "forgived"... sorry, I just woke up!
from clarity25 :
I can understand why you forgived her, I would do the same thing. It doesn't make you foolish. You're right about forgiveness. Unfortunately as a result I've been hurt repeatedly sometimes by the same person. Then it just reaches a point where you have to put your foot down. However, you did the right thing and I really hope you are able to truly build up your friendship again. That she really IS turning around and for the right reasons. (from what you described, her behavior was pretty awful and it's really big of you to be willing to put it behind you) Good luck with that:) P.S. thanks for your last note.
from pinkbowshoe :
I hate friends sometimes. They say your "girl friends" are supposed to be your back bone and support you (you know when there's trouble w/ the guys or w/ the fam, etc. they're supposed to be there) but, as caddy and petty as women are...We never, or I haven't found yet, that I have been able to lean on my girl friends for help. It seems when times get rough, they disappear, and also...we fight over stupid sh*t. Just like your example. I have a "best friend" who I've know for like 14 years, and she's disapeared out of my life and I have no clue why. its so sad, and it sucks. I just wanted to say I know how you feel. :)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
My favorite on your list is Paige, on account of that's little E's middle name! :)
from clarity25 :
Oh my god, That's so exciting that you are going to stop your BC and start trying soon. I mean REALLY exciting! Congratulations! *jumping up and down*. (I'm hoping I can live vicariously through your experiences and it will help me prepare for my own jump into motherhood some day!) By the way, I love your list of baby names. Sasha and Aidan are my favorites.
from sandandfog :
What is funny is some names I have written down for my baby are: Emma, Ella, Chloe, Hannah, Sam, Aiden and Jack:) Great minds think alike!
from ecstasia :
I love so many of your names, Eden, Chole, Ione, Bianca, Gewn, Sasha, Sophie. Oh and Drew for a boy. I particularly love the following names (all girl names): Audrey, Claudia, Vivian, Lynn, Diane, Ashley.
from dieselengine :
I can't imagine how hard it is to pick out a name for a baby since you are a teacher. All my teacher friends that have kids ended up just naming their kids after a parent or something.
from warcrygirl :
Hello! I'd like to talk to you about something in private. If you could, would you email me at [email protected]? Thank you.
from pinkbowshoe :
You're not fat. You're gorgeous. :) I didn't think you could have piercings being a teacher??! I was contemplating taking mine out since I start observations soon?! And yay for Shane, he did good for ya. and poo screw your momma..she needs some help.
from dieselengine :
magazine subscriptions are always a great gift, especially if he likes to read. My mom gets two subscritions for Christmas each year (one from me, one from my brother) and she said she loves it because it isn't a bill and each month she gets a little reminder that my brother and I love her...HOW SWEET IS THAT?!?!?
from sandandfog :
Oh, I hope your brother can get straightened out and decide what he wants. It's hard not to worry about our siblings. As for your mom, she sounds like mine. She kept telling me what my dad needed for xmas but not what he wanted. I didn't want to get him something he needed! I wanted to get him something fun he would love. I say, get your dad the magazine subscriptions. I know I would love that gift! I hope you and Shane can spend some quality time together and he treats you like a queen...you deserve it!
from clarity25 :
I'm sorry your new years celebration wasn't much fun, but I'm sure it will get better in the New Year. Every relationship goes through times like this. There are days when I want to go out with friends and Eric is just drained. He lays on the sofa and flips through the channels absently. When I try to drag him out the house, he acts like I'm some kind of drill sargeant and sulks the entire time. He makes it impossible for me to have a good time, so I just gave up. So I wait until he's in the mood and we take it from there. But I've had times like that and I know what you mean. We were so much more social when we were together in college, sometimes I feel like we're becoming hermits. But it ebbs and flows, some months are very social, some months are really interesting and fun. I think that's the nature of marriage, ups and downs, overworking, stress, disconnection and reconnection. Nights of drinking and fun, sober nights with difficult discussions. But you love eachother and like you said, you'll get through it all together. Thank you for your last note, Autumn. I know things will improve soon, I feel myself becoming calmer due to the support everyone has given me. I know I'll get through it. thank you
from sandandfog :
Sounds like neither one of us had a great time. Hope the rest of your year is better!
from humanspirit :
Happy New Year! Have fun tonight
from dieselengine :
I know what you mean about baby steps on your new home. I bought my place over a year and a half ago and we have still only managed to paint the bathrooms. Today we went to Hell Depot and spent $85 on absolutely nothing. Or at least that is what it felt like...
from sandandfog :
No you aren't a weirdo! This guy died in Oct after having a rough life and I feel like he was telling me something in my dream..it's so weird! I still feel odd and what's also kinda creepy is he has a myspace profile that is still up and I just get the oddest feeling he is 'around'.
from clarity25 :
It's 4:15 P.M. and I just woke up. It's funny but I'm also exhausted, my stomach is uneasy and I just want to crawl back into bed also. But I have too much to do as well. The problem for me is that all the stores in Germany are now closed for New Years Eve. UGH! Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you for your last note, I hope you have a wonderful New Years night:)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
You can never post too many pictures! I love your bedroom. :)
from ecstasia :
I adore your bedroom. What a soft and sexy theme. That shade of red can go wrong really easily and you got it so right! I also really like the end table that your lamp is on. The legs are really delicate looking. Your layout is fun! As you may assume I do so enjoy photographs of furniture. I am sorry that you are in a funk.
from clarity25 :
I loved the pictures, your bed is beautiful. I also liked how you drew out your floorplan! How cool! I can understand your stance on not making your student "friends" in Myspace. That makes sense, you handled that really well:). take care! P.S. I hope you get out of your funk, I've been in one too lately.
from clarity25 :
I'm sorry that you're students found your MYSPACE account, I can understand your reservations. But since you mentioned your blog and bulletin are reserved only to friends and locked to others. Maybe it isn't so bad, You can just add them so they feel special and leave it at that. But I know exactly what you mean, I'll be careful in the future to never leave a public comment that reveals any personal information that you share in your Diaryland diary. I hope you had a good Christmas!
from humanspirit :
Hey, I was reading thru the local paper today...and there was a picture of a gal that looked a lot like you...Hair and face structure...I found it online, check it out: http://www.vvdailypress.com/2005/113577612499394.html
from dieselengine :
I can understand why you would be upset that your students found your myspace page but you have it set up so they won't have access to your blog and stuff. I have a friend who is a teacher and she adds all of her students as friends, I think it is a bit tacky and unprofessional.
from sandandfog :
eek..not sure if I'd like that either! It may turn out to be harmless though.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I wouldn't worry too much about the MySpace thing. I have my son, my niece, some of my friends' kids and several of their friends on my MySpace. It's actually a good way to keep tabs on them. :) Surprisingly, with as much trash as I get on my site, I have had no grief from the kiddies.
from sandandfog :
Merry Christmas hon! Don't worry I'm still late with some of my cards! Hope you two have a great holiday!
from less-than3 :
feel better sweetie.
from pinkbowshoe :
AWEEEEEEE!!! You're the best buddy ever :) Thank you! My birthday kicked butt. I got 3 birthday cakes. Im sooo going to need a gym after this holiday! :) Hope you're doing well w/your shopping. I'm almost done, too. i have those last nagging ones (uncle, neighbor, and secret santa @ work). yay..happy shopping to us!
from dieselengine :
I get creeped out by my dreams sometimes too. Not because the dream itself is scary or bothersome but because those thoughts were actually sitting around in my subconscious...I hope it isn't anything too horrible!
from less-than3 :
*hugs you tight*
from humanspirit :
Things will turn around for you soon. The Holidays just bring up a whole lotta unwanted stress in my opinion. Have you tried those stress relieving techniques that Ms. Michelle suggested?
from dieselengine :
Do you think maybe the holidays are getting you down? It happens to me all the time and in all honesty, this is probably the first time in about 15 years that I haven't been depressed around the holidays....
from clarity25 :
I don't have the right words, possibly because I'm feeling pretty similar myself right now. So maybe it just helps to let you know that you're not alone.--Love, Clarity
from clarity25 :
I'm sorry that your Mom is putting a damper on your christmas spirit by behaving the way that she is. That's difficult and it would frustrate me as well. You're right, Christmas ISN'T about the presents. It's about being with your family and the people you love. Maybe you can try to think of something special that maybe everyone can do together and run the idea by her. Sometimes the children have to take the initiative to get the ball rolling, even though it shouldn't really be that way. :(. Hope things get better, also I'm glad you had fun at the Christmas party
from pinkbowshoe :
OH my gosh! I would have to seriously restrain myself from laughing! That's horrible. Is she really a teacher? If so....man, that's sad.
from humanspirit :
oops I meant freakin. Now that just sounds stupid. haha
from humanspirit :
fFakin' idiots man! I work with a couple too. *shrugs*
from dieselengine :
They don't have Jamba Juice where I live but I've always heard of it. So when I went to San Diego I tried one. It tasted like nothing. Seriously, there was NO TASTE to it. What flavor do you get? Mine was something tropical like coconut and pineapple but it tasted like tofu, I swear. Nothing at all.
from pinkbowshoe :
My grandpa sent me that link! it's crazy. I didn't mention this in her eval...she was IN THE ROOM!! She's supposed to be gone, but she was "grading papers." jackass. What an ass. Oh well, thank goodness it's over. I'm sorry you've been having problems w/ your car. It seems like that always happens, whenever the warranty is out *poof* things happen. It's weird. Damn cars. but, good luck w/ finding one. :)
from less-than3 :
uh oh. what if i see both pink and green AT THE SAME TIME?!?!?! eep!
from clarity25 :
That IS a cool link..I think I might have stared at it bit too long. I see swirling green dots. haha.
from clarity25 :
I've been having the same problems with sleeping lately (for example: It's 5 A.M. right now.), and I hate the bad dreams when I start trying to sleep in snippets inbetween pressing the snooze-button. I hope you managed to get a good night's sleep last night.
from pinkbowshoe :
do you like those cars?? KS wants one of the couple model scion. Are you really going to get rid of the bug? I would buy it off of you!
from dieselengine :
We have a Scion at work as one of the station vehicles and I've driven it a few times, it is a nice little car and there is so much room inside but you wouldn't think since they look pretty small. If you scrounge around, maybe you can find a used one. They are about 2 years old now and some people who might not have been able to handle their leases could have turned them in early. Just go to the dealership and ask, if they know that is what you want, they will hunt one down for you!
from clarity25 :
You have a right to be annoyed at the things you described even though it might be considered "petty". But seriously, you do. Also, *whispers* I think my friends are better than Eric's too. We ran into the same problem you described with OUR wedding. Good luck with the car purchase, I hope you find a resolution. Either a cheap new car or a nice used one, perhaps. :).
from ecstasia :
Hey there, Thank you for the comment it brightened my day. If you are willing to share, may I have the username and password for your private diary? ONLY if you are willing to share! I do not want to press you. = >
from less-than3 :
happy birthday shane! WOOO HOOOO!
from clarity25 :
Thanks for your last note, you had me cracking up! You also brightened my day. Secondly Happy Birthday to Shane! (in advance) Hope he has a great day. Third..I forgot what third was. Oh yes, I'm stressed out too. I relate. I hope things relax a bit for you in the upcoming days and this weekend!
from ecstasia :
Hello, I just started reading your diary and I think you're great. I just wanted to comment on your last entry: I emphasize completely with longing about the past/wondering what happened to it/wanting to capture the emotions and 'carefree newness of it'. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who deals with feelings like that. Thanks
from humanspirit :
Hey girly girl, hang in there, ok? If you work hard now, you will enjoy the fruits soon. When I am stressed out and doing too many things at once, I always take a few minutes to have a cup of coffee and stare out the window or have a piece of chocolate by the fireplace. Give yourself something to look forward to everyday...it's not greediness...it is taking care of yourself. We all need a breather to calm ourselves down from the stress the world gives us.
from sandandfog :
I hope you get to feeling better hon...looking forward to your update.
from less-than3 :
i hope you're okay hon. you can always email me if you want. xox
from clarity25 :
It ISN'T "Make_Others_Happyland"?? I must have been misled. screw that then. haha. Take care, Autumn, I hope you're feeling a bit better today. :)
from humanspirit :
I guess I'll just have to wait for things to "fall into place." I think maybe now I realize what I want, I can see life a little more clearly. I love reading your entries about your relationship with Shane, they give a realness to life that we know isn't perfect. We hear too often of the perfect stepford families and I'm sick of it. Marriages stay in in tact through overcoming obstacles. Young adults dont realize that and they don't want to compromise, that's why it never works for them. I'll get off my soap box rant haha... Thanks for your note.
from sandandfog :
I say I shouldn't drink every time I drink..hehe. I always seem to do something I'm ashamed of. I'm sure hubby wasn't too mad at you and realizes it was the alcohol. Hope you feel better!
from less-than3 :
oh honey, it happens to the best of us. i hope you're feeling better by now. *hugs you tight and gives you ginger ale and saltine crackers*
from clarity25 :
Wow! I was impressed! I was thinking "Yeah! You tell him!". Maybe because I never have the balls to yell in someone's face when they're acting like a drunk asshole and I WISH I did. Your response was what my inner dialogue would have been, but probably what Eric would have been yelling instead. If I ever did that ,Eric would probably step back in amazement and watch the scene unfold without being able to speak a word. At any rate, I'm sorry that guy was such a prick. That sucks. But I think you definitely put him in his place. As for your thoughts this morning. I laughed because I've woken up with those thoughts more mornings than I care to remember. Hope you feel better soon!
from less-than3 :
damn, girl. you are fierce. remind me never to push you or piss you off. not that i ever would. but you know. <3
from dieselengine :
most musicians are extremely small. I guess we just think they are larger than life. I met Ben Lee this past summer and honestly, I probably had at least 20lbs on him and about an inch or two.
from dieselengine :
shooter also dated that extremely hot girl from The Sopranos. They are on-again-off-again. While he is a great musician, it is just a very weird couple if you ask me.
from clarity25 :
First I'm sorry for the stress you're dealing with concerning the professor, That's awful! Second, I hate it when some Jack ass comes in with their agression and ruins a nice concert. I had that happen to me when I was 15 during a Marilyn Manson concert. It sucked and freaked me out. I hope you had a fun night despite that. Oh and lastly, your dream description made me laugh! A book signing! That would be nice! haha! Hope the rest of your day treats you well.
from pinkbowshoe :
holy bananas! My teacher isn't half the mean witch yours is! Man, I'd wanna kick her ass. I would go to your program director (major counselor/advisor) and say something. Obviously the other students see it, too. Why not? she's not being a good teacher. She's doing exactly what we don't want to do to our students. It's so wrong on so many levels. It sounds like she needs to get some education! My teacher last night (another class) restored my faith in teaching ..phew. Thank goodness. What is your major @ your school? I can't find a PE grad school for miiiiiles.
from less-than3 :
what a muthaf'n bitch! grr. i'm sorry you're dealing with that. :(
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
OMG your Professor is a bitch!
from dieselengine :
If you made me dill salmon *I* would give you lovin' for that. It sounds yummy!
from sandandfog :
Glad things are falling in place so smoothly for you!
from clarity25 :
I'm glad you're having a good day! P.S. In regards to a previous entry, Don't worry, I'll never link your diary in myspace. In fact, I'm thinking of removing my own diary link from my blog page because more and more people from my every day life are discovering my I.D. there. I understand your concerns with that completely!
from sandandfog :
Ugh! I hope it warms up there and hubby gets to feeling better!
from pinkbowshoe :
wow..that souls entry..that was a good one, great one! I often think that myself. Where do we lose that in our lives? and why do we care so much about what other think about us and how we are and it's such a shame..but that's how many people go about thier lives..I am guilty at times, too!
from sandandfog :
omg we have similar problems with every holiday...families are so nerve wracking sometimes!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Wow, that was a great entry. :)
from clarity25 :
I loved that entry! I read it over a few times, You're right..that old woman had found something, she was free and expressing herself. I'm so afraid of doing that too, so many times I've held back for fear of what others think. Anyway, that was a really beautiful entry.
from clarity25 :
Thanks so much for your kind note, Autum! I hope that everything was sorted out for you this Thanksgiving. (I.E., the stress of figuring out where you're going, who's doing what! ACK! I felt for you so much when I read that!) Hope your day turns out wonderful and that you have a great Thanksgiving. Now I'm off to get plastered on hot wine. haha..P.S. That picture had me cracking up!!
from sandandfog :
And we are thankful for you! Happy Thanksgiving hon!
from pinkbowshoe :
I won on Ebay, too. There was this CD by Rob Thomas (of Matchbox 20) and Shawn wanted it, but it was a limited Target exclusive(From back in like, FEB!!) and I could only find it on Ebay. I had to pay like 4x's what it originally cost, but it's sealed and he'll be soo stoked! Congrats on your win, too. And yeah, I agree the dog is scary..eeks. Have a great Turkey Day!
from dieselengine :
so glad the cake was a hit! Maybe I'll make it for Christmas...By the way, does Shane collect Pez dispensers?
from sandandfog :
I can definitely see the resemblance with skeet and johnny. Great pics! Glad the diaper drive went a little better!
from beautyx3 :
He does kind of look like Johnny Depp, but for some reason I think he looks like Gavin Rossdale the lead singer of Bush more. Either way you have a very handsome husband, love his hair.
from dieselengine :
I can see a resemblence for sure. Please tell me how the kitty litter cake turns out. Or should I say turds out.
from clarity25 :
Yeah, Skeet! That's a good comparison. Well, I'll break it down.. His eyes are less close together than Johnny Depp. (good thing), His nose is a similiar shape, but Shane's goes upwards while Johnny's goes more downward. But they have a very similiar mouth and jaw bone. (I paint portraits, so I see faces this way! lol). All in all, he shares enough physical characteristics with Johnny Depp that causes the instant feeling of recognition within people and they have to say it. Not because he looks EXACTLY like him, but because of similar features. Either way, You have a good-looking hubby, girl! take care!
from pinkbowshoe :
He looks like Johnny with a cross of Skeet Ulrich (the guy from Scream...Gavin Rossdales looking). Yeah, good mix of those.
from less-than3 :
i personally think shane is way hotter than johnny. and NO, i'm not just saying that. :P
from dieselengine :
you must take a photo of 1) the cake and 2) the boss's face when he sees it!
from clarity25 :
Could you share the password with me? [email protected]:)
from dieselengine :
can you email me the password? EvildilaraATgmailDOTcom. Thanks!
from less-than3 :
*jaw drops*
from claritynew :
P.S. Oh btw, I meant to say this earlier. I loved those pictures! That's so cool that you were also sporting a pink wig on Halloween! Everyone asked me what I was too, I was like.. "Ugh..duh. I'm a pink haired prostitute. *sigh* sheesh"
from claritynew :
Sorry you weren't able to raise much money, at least a LITTLE bit of money came in. That sucks though:(. I can understand your frustration. Thanks so much for your last note, that was really uplifting. I'm surprised that he (you know who I'm referring to) went through AYS too! Hard to believe considering he's incredible good-looking. I mean, Not everyone can boast that they have a hubby that looks like Johnny depp! At any rate, I was surprised when Eric had told me he went through that early in our friendship because when I looked at him, I just saw "hot guy!". But we all have our secret insecurities and awkward pasts. We all have temptations at times, and yeah, I agree the fact that some other girl finds our men attractive is kind of flattering in a way. :). Okay, I'm rambling..but it just feels good to be understood! Makes me feel less crazy in our relationship! haha..have a good weekend!
from less-than3 :
well, at the very least i'm glad at least a little more money has come in. sheeesh.
from sandandfog :
I hope they change their minds and kick in some money! omg! Thank you so much for the lotion, I have some from B&BW but not that scent and it's absolutely luscious! Thank you! And thanks for the card:) Hugs!
from less-than3 :
that is so fucked up. can i send a check for $15?
from dieselengine :
I would get on everybody's ass about the diaper drive. Seriously! $15 is like enough for one pack of diapers! That's gotta be discouraging. On a side note, my friend who is pregnant just found out she only gets off two weeks after having her baby. That is pretty jacked up if you ask me. What is wrong with the world these days?
from humanspirit :
Great pictures!! *Feel better, hun*
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Yay for pictures! Too bad your piercing didn't work out - it looked great on you :) I really liked the leaf picture...it looked like you captured a random leaf flying through the air. Very cool.
from less-than3 :
loved the photos, hon. you're adorable x12. feel better. <3
from sandandfog :
Loved the pictures. Too bad the monroe piercing didn't work out for you, it looked cool! Hope you get to feeling better!
from clarity25 :
I'm sorry about that situation with your friend. (former friend), The fact that she keeps saying that she can NOT talk about this..or try to push off discussions for later is because she knows she's also guilty. She doesn't want it brought up, because she doesn't want to face it. So she puts on a powertrip, and gets defensive. I HATE when people do that. They leave you speechless, struggling and the whole situation unresolved. You're right, it's not your fault. It's good that you're just moving on. You don't need a friend like that. You're such an awesome person, you deserve to be treated so much better.
from sandandfog :
Silly girl! I do stuff like that all the time:) You really didn't need to send me anything but thank you and I'm sure I'll love it! Hugs!
from sandandfog :
Ugh, I hope you get to feeling better and the day goes quickly for you!
from claritynew :
I'm so sorry to hear that you're sick. Stomach Virus's can be very brutal and hard to get through. I wish there was something I could do other than sympathize with your pain. I really hope you feel better soon. Ginger ale and a lot of rest is the best solution, try not to let all the stresses of work pound down on you too badly. You need to take care of YOU now.
from humanspirit :
Aww I'd like to bring you a cup of hot tea or soup to help you feel better. Get to feeling better, ok Autum. I know it sucks being sick especially when you have to deal with people that are annoying as hell. You'll get through the day just fine.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*hugs*
from pinkbowshoe :
haahah! I wanna see what that piercing looks like. Is that like a cindy crawford mole place? I gotta see it!!
from thekirks :
Hope you get to feeling better!
from beautyx3 :
That's great baby news!I think you'd make a good mom because you're so caring.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Not that I'm encouraging you to change your plans *wink*, but I bartended for a time when I was pregnant with little E and let me tell you, I made sooooo much more money. You would not believe the people that would hand me a huge tip and say "buy something for the baby". Hope Shane is ok...scars are sexy!
from less-than3 :
wow. i hope shane heals up soon! and woo hoo babyplans! YAY! :)
from thekirks :
Yay, congrats on the decision! I'm sorry to hear about Shane's mishap and hope he is doing ok now!
from clarity25 :
oh my gosh! I'm so sorry to hear about that accident with Shane..on his face?! stitches?! I'm glad he's alright..that's awful though.:(. I hope it doesn't scar too badly, but I'm sure it will only add character to his already handsome face.I mean, girl..your husband is HOT:) Exciting news about the baby plans! I wish I were at that stage..where I really felt ready and wanted it. But I'm not in the financial position to have one anyone. *sigh*
from dieselengine :
Losing someone is always hard no matter how they died. In these past few years, I have lost a lot of people and nothing was more frustrating than the friend who committed suicide. I am angry about it more than anything. But no matter how you feel, just as long as you are feeling something it is good. Numbness is the hardest thing to deal with. I wish you the best on dealing with this.
from thekirks :
Please feel free to talk about it if you need to again. Don't worry about what we will all think, etc. It's important for you to be able to vent, and so on if you feel like it. Hugs.
from less-than3 :
*hug* love you.
from dieselengine :
I am so sorry to hear about what happened. Having just recently lost someone close to me unexpectedly I can understand the confusion and frustration. Maybe his funeral will help you with all the pent up feelings you've had for all these years. Maybe not. But either way I think it is good you are going to the funeral. I will be thinking about you. Take care.
from thekirks :
Again, I am so so sorry:(
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
My heart hurts for you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your friend's family.
from less-than3 :
oh my god, i am so unbelievably sorry. if you need ANYTHING at all, please let me know, okay? *hug* i'm so sorry..
from thekirks :
omg, I am so so sorry:( There is nothing I can say to make you feel better but know I'm here for you!
from beautyx3 :
so sorry, hope things get better
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I don't know what to say. I'm here if you need me. <3
from humanspirit :
I am so sorry. No one ever wants to hear that kind of news. If you need someone to talk to, I've got an open ear for you.
from clarity25 :
I'm so so sorry. I don't have the right words, I know how painful it is to lose someone you care and love through suicide. My thoughts and prayers are with you right now.
from thekirks :
I feel the same way today too. Don't know what it is. I just want to be home in bed!
from clarity25 :
LOL! You're so right! I read your last comment, then came back to your note page and I almost pissed myself laughing!
from clarity25 :
P.S. Oh! and thanks for the costume suggestions!:)
from clarity25 :
That pic had me cracking up!
from cause-ofyou :
just log into the diary like you were logging into your own. just use the username and password i gave you. <3
from less-than3 :
i'm with ya! that woman kicks so much ass. i want to be a bad-ass gramma when i get old
from humanspirit :
How adorable! Your last entry brightened up my day. I'd like to grow old with someone like that, too.
from humanspirit :
Thank you so much for your support, I think I really needed it! And I would post her letters up there, but I don't want the drama to continue..there is no point. I wrote her back stating to leave me the hell out of it, so we will see. But if she writes me again calling me a cunt AGAIN I think I will post 'em. Haha.
from clarity25 :
I've been staying up too late watching T.V. too. We recently got BBC (english! yay!) So I've been addicted to trashy british late night soaps. I haven't seen "Desperate Housewives" yet. I'll have to invest in the boxset because I've been hearing about it everything. As for food shopping, I'm the same. I hate it. The worst thing is..we have to go shopping every other day because our little German fridge is so tiny and we have to carry everything home in a little basket. It gets tedious after a while, I miss those warehouses where you can buy everything at once and not have to shop again for another 2 weeks. P.S. thank you so much for your last caring note. It's good to know I'm not alone with how I was feeling. Have a good night:)
from thekirks :
Great pic of you two and your nephew! so glad he is better! I hope the little bear was ok, don't know if that's your taste or not, but I thought it was cute for H@lloween:) Just something to give you a smile:)
from less-than3 :
yay! i'm so glad he's okay! :) :) :) :)
from clarity25 :
I'm such a sucker for random surveys! I couldn't help going through all of them and seeing my answers. Hope you had a good weekend!
from less-than3 :
no no no. it's all good. i don't care who reads our hatemail, i just care about who's allowed to POST. because i'm an elitist snob like that! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! only my lovelies (and friends of my lovelies) are allowed in the club. heh. :D
from less-than3 :
ok. you can see it without a password, right? that's fine. but you can't ADD anything without one, can you? *confused*
from less-than3 :
there is? where???
from humanspirit :
Your nephew is in my thoughts and prayers. And don't worry about the content of your entries. It's your diary, not anyone elses.
from less-than3 :
oh my goodness, i am so sorry. my thoughts and prayers are definitely going to that little one. <3 keep us posted...
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I'm not very good at offering comforting words. I should be an expert considering. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and especially the little guy. *hug*
from thekirks :
I will pray and pray and pray for him hon...
from evildilara :
I completely understand what you mean about the diaryland prayers...your nephew is in my thoughts.
from clarity25 :
Wow! Man..I am officially jealous of your cleavage! I could never pull off that outfit, you look stunning:)
from humanspirit :
Oh my!! It's scary how well you fit in *eh hem*. Haha Just Kidding! You are so photogenic (sp?)! It's been all work and no play for humanspirit, I'm jealous! Looks like you had fun!
from less-than3 :
HOLY CRAP - you look so great!!! woo hooooo! if i was a pimp, i'd SO be ho-in' you out. um. i mean that as a compliment. hehehee.
from thekirks :
great pic!! Looks like you were having fun! Now get back to work:)
from thekirks :
ugh..that does suck. hope it's all fixed. and hope things are better with hubby!
from less-than3 :
that sucks. :(
from evildilara :
thanks for the comment and the add! I was going to drop you a note but I kept getting interrupted. And about the small ass...trust me, it is not a gift. IT IS A CURSE!!!!
from thekirks :
I'm feelin' ya right about now..
from less-than3 :
*hugs* stupid boys.
from thekirks :
Hope you feel better and hubby sees the error of his ways! There is nothing worse than being lied to!

dland life is WAY cooler than real life, anyway. :)
from beautyx3 :
so I signed up on myspace. but I don't know too much about it, how do i get people to view me? how do I "make friends"?
from beautyx3 :
My boyfriend lies to me about things he thinks hell get in trouble about. I try to tell him Ill be madder if you lie about it, but he just doesnt get it. I think guys just dont understand, but I agree with you, lying shouldnt happen in a relationship. By the way, happy belated birthday, hope you had a good day.
from less-than3 :
i love you<333333
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Wow. I really liked that entry.
from pinkbowshoe :
That absolutely sucks. I have the same issues, and am always looking and hoping that I"m wrong but most times I'm not. I hate that feeling. I hope you get lots of hugs and make up kisses. I don't know why he'd lie either. Maybe becuase you flip out. Thats what KS says to me, well it's b/c I knwo you'll get upset. I'm all like...well, so what. But...anyhoo..enough. Just wanted to say I sympathize. Happy belated birthday chicka!
from less-than3 :
i hope shane apologizes and makes it up to you BIG TIME!!!!
from thekirks :
awww was that for little ole me? Thank you so much hon!!! It means alot! I hope you and hubby can get things worked out. I hate when they lie about the little things like that!
from humanspirit :
Happy, Happy Birthday!!! I hope you had fun ;)
from less-than3 :
happy birthdayyyyyyyyyyyy! have FUN tonight! all of the flowers are gorgeous and the CRUNK CUP is so rad!!!! :) :) love you!
from clarity25 :
The flowers are beautiful! Have a fun night celebrating your birthday, you deserve it!
from thekirks :
Tell me about it...I'm getting ready to turn 30 on monday and I think I might be past the freaking out stage..I'm not sure yet. Despite that fact, have a wondeful birthday!!
from less-than3 :
i know how to use the hose = brilliant! :)
from clarity25 :
Glad to hear that Shane is back, That's so sweet what he said on Camera when he saw your hair. Awww, that made me smile. I'm sure he'll remember your birthday and HAPPY BIRTHDAY by the way! Even though it's not today, just an early greeting! P.S. The fireman outfit sounds so cool, I was a policewoman last year. I love costumes like that and having fun with it. As for the phrase on the shirt. I'll have to ask Eric, he'll come up with something clever;)
from thekirks :
That sucks! Well, drive safe and I say put your day off doing something special for yourself! You deserve it with how sad you've been!
from less-than3 :
ugh. drive safe, hon.
from humanspirit :
Oh my goodness!!!! Hehehehe I Loooove it! Thanks, Autum!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
LOOOOOOVE IT! When I went from blonde back to my natural color, it was a shocker too. Now that I'm used to it, I can't imagine going back! For the record, there is nothing old or haggard looking about you at all. :)
from thekirks :
You look great! My mom makes comments like that too and it drives me crazy!
from clarity25 :
You're beautiful! Your students must get crushes on you all the time! Wow! Nice color too, it DOES bring out your eyes.
from less-than3 :
holy crap! i LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!!!!!!!!! it's so pretty!!! love love love the color and it totally makes your eyes stand out even more. you look GORGEOUS!!!! :)
from thekirks :
I bet your hair looks great, can't wait to see pics! I'm sorry hubby couldn't come home earlier but so glad that you could get a day off to spend with him!
from less-than3 :
if you go in through one of the links in the email notifications of "so and so has left you a comment" and then sign in from there, it should work. hopefully. :)
from humanspirit :
Hey! Add me on myspace! My email is [email protected]. Do you ever watch Sex and the City? The whole baby name incident reminds me of an episode they did... I think we should have a "I don't have a baby party" Like one of the city gals did. hehehe
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
M's first daughter is named Reagan. Honestly, I can't get past the whole Exorcist thing with that name! I know how you feel, though. It's a good thing Z was a boy, because his aunt ended up stealing my girl name!
from clarity25 :
That "MySpace" story about your profile had me cracking up. I'm really sorry about your friend stealing your baby name. I know it might sound trivial, but I totally hear where you are coming from on that!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
MySpace is surely a boredom buster if nothing else. Actually, it's just a place for me to be totally goofy. My son and all his friends hang out on my page, so I understand about the students. You will earn major cool points with them!
from thekirks :
hey hon! i added you on there and I'll be discreet!!
from less-than3 :
do a google for "thomas's myspace editor" - you'll be able to get the pretty colors you want and everything :)
from less-than3 :
i'm glad he's okay. :) planes suuuuuck. i'll never get used to flying.
from beautyx3 :
I understand how you feel and how worried you must be about your husband, hang in there!
from thekirks :
breeeeeaathe. Everything will be ok and he will be back sooner than you know it. Ok, easier said than done. I'm thinking of you:)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*hugs*
from thekirks :
I have you and hubby in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you also for your note. It IS so hard to leave and I just don't know at this point if I can do it. I hate fighting. I just want it to end, ya know?
from less-than3 :
xoxoxoxox
from rae2005 :
here is a quote that has gotten me through some rough times: "sometimes things have to fall apart so that other things can fall into place." as hard as it is to see now....this usually is true. (at least in my experience)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Of course I will pray for you guys. You don't have to ask.
from pinkbowshoe :
Awe!! good luck healing! And yeah...know all about that financial aide stuff...that's exactly why I dropped out this past spring. I was outta fin. aide and so I had to wait till the fall :( But everythings ok now, and it will workout for you. Keep plugin away at school you'll get it done. This w/ money always have a way of falling into place. That is one thing i've learned.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
You know that boot is sexy. We are all jealous :)
from less-than3 :
ouch! :(
from less-than3 :
i'm praying and thinking good thoughts for you, hon...xox
from rae2005 :
im so sorry...finanial aid can be so tricky. but don't lose hope....
from thekirks :
I'm so sorry hon...I hope you can get it worked out.
from humanspirit :
Oh my goodness! I haven't been keeping up on my DL reading...I was tearing up when I read the article with the student. You are a genuinely great person for donating to the family. And I am sorry to hear about your pops too, I hope he is on the road to recovery. *hugs*
from less-than3 :
*picks you up in the Tucson to drive you to a hiding place* stay safe honey. xox
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
:( Life isn't fair. Try not to be afraid. We'll all be praying for your safety.
from thekirks :
I am so so sorry:( Why do things like this happen??
from less-than3 :
oh my god. that is so unbelievably sad. i wouldn't feel safe either. :( are there any other "better" schools in the area looking for teachers?
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Thank you. You have no idea how much that means to me. Really, thank you so much. <3
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
hee hee. tell shane thanks for reminding me to take my vitamins :p
from clarity25 :
I loved this recent entry, it made me smile. Also I liked that survey you posted previously. I'm going to have to steal it. To answer your initial question. I would choose to play "In the Meantime" by the Spacehogs, or "Where is my Mind" by the Pixies. Although..I'm not sure if that's the first things a person that was formerly deaf would WANT to hear. P.S. thank you so much for your last note.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
yup...:)
from less-than3 :
that entry made me smile so much! :)
from rae2005 :
thank you so much. i hope that things with your dad get better.
from less-than3 :
<3333 i am SO happy that your dad is home. he sounds like my dad. the only thing my dad doesn't do anymore is smoke. he still drinks like a fish, eats crap, and weighs at least 20lbs more than he did when he had the heart attack...hello????? *sigh* men.
from thekirks :
well, I'm glad he is ok, I just hope he decides to be healthier.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
i believe you about your whole psychic vibe thing...happens to me too, weird huh? (i dare not tell anyone either!) i'll continue to pray for you and yours.
from less-than3 :
i totally know exactly what you mean. my dad was 58, AND drinks like a fish. yep. gosh. my heart hurts for you sweetie. i'm totally thinking of you and him and your whole family. xox if you need anything, just let me know.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Oh aut, I'm so sorry. I will add you, your dad and your entire family in my prayers. <3
from less-than3 :
oh my god, my prayers are with him for sure. my dad had one in 95, so i know how scary it is. *hug*
from thekirks :
oh my god, I'm so sorry hon. I will have your dad and family in my thoughts and prayers!
from clarity25 :
I'm so sorry, I'll be praying for your father tonight.
from humanspirit :
I like the new layout too!
from thekirks :
Aww I'm sorry hon, I hope you are feeling better soon...
from pinkbowshoe :
oooooh. I like the new template!
from less-than3 :
oh my god, yes. i hate when certain songs do that.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
i like the new layout...and yes, your nephew is adorable!
from clarity25 :
Thanks for your last note! yeah, the muppet box set is great, It was a gift from my sister. She said she bought it for 27$ at Walmart. It even contains the original pilot episode that was never before seen..originally Kermit wasn't the showmaster. It's really interesting. I like your new template and the pictures of your purchases. Cool Jacket btw:)
from less-than3 :
thanks for the vote of confidence. :) i'm pretty damn psyched. and i love your taste in shoes and housewares!!!!
from pinkbowshoe :
That is crazy. I run into moments like that when I decide to cruise around. I'll pick places I haven't been to in a while, and it emerses you it's like you're almost right there in that time again. Amazing, isn't it?
from thekirks :
what a nice entry, with a wonderful ending:)
from less-than3 :
i know that a lot of people have gone over to typepad (which i think you have to pay for), blogger or livejournal. hell, i even have a livejournal...just almost no one knows about it. i had to keep it very very secret for a while b/c i was always bitching about a certain someone...*sigh*
from thekirks :
oops, meant to say that they cheated on me with her! eek!
from thekirks :
First of all, I want to say thank you for the note you left in my diary today. It meant alot to me:) I think most of my hubby's relatives are around this area, but how cool would it be if we were distantly related! To comment on your entry today, I'm glad you will still be around, even if it isn't all the time. I would miss reading about you and your life. It's not 'boring' at all. I also had a best friend that treated me like such dirt, some of my exes actually cheated on her, atleast three that I know of. To this day, I can't stand her and wish she'd get off her high horse. Her life is going fine, she has her husband and baby, yet she treats people like dirt. Seems like everything just works out for people like that doesn't it? Pisses me off!
from clarity25 :
P.S. I just read your last note. That's the main motivating factor for me to leave too. People from my life finding it.
from clarity25 :
I know! D-land is like a drug, you just can't stay away from it too long. Something happens and you think "man, I have to write that in my diary..no wait, I'm taking a break..ugh, screw it whatever". I talk about leaving in a few months, but I'll probably only last 2 weeks away before I'm like "I missed D-land, I'm back". LOL. Anyhow, It was nice to see an update. I'd miss you if you left. I know exactly what you mean about your life feeling boring at the moment. join the club!
from humanspirit :
Dude, I got the hook-ups, we can set it up...umm just kidding, well, not really :/
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I bet we could hunt that bitch down, yo! And remember, Hollywood Hills does not necessarily = happy.
from less-than3 :
ugh. i'm so far behind on reading entries. i suck. :(
from rougelips :
You will be missed.
from clarity25 :
I can relate to what you wrote, I've been feeling the same lately. but I'll miss your entries..I hope your break isn't TOO long. take care!
from thekirks :
Awww hon, I will miss your entries, but I understand. I hope you will return soon!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
i love your couch!
from younameit :
Isn't there anyone in whom you can confide in person? You owe it to yourself to find that person as soon as you can. Wherever your best friend lives, no matter how far away she is, you need to go visit her during the next school break (or take a sick day on a Friday). That's what friends are for, and you need the advice of a true friend to convince you to stop thinking so badly about yourself. You don't deserve it, no matter what you say.
from clarity25 :
I can completely understand your frustration with the RSVP'ers not showing up. That would have upset me too. That's wonderful that Shane got to see his father, and the gifts that you received! It sounds and looks like it was a beautiful beautiful day. Congratulations:)
from humanspirit :
I was going through f-girl withdrawls. I'm glad you are back! Beautiful pictures!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
welcome back MRS. f-girl.
from pinkbowshoe :
AWe that is so cute. I love your pictures. Congrats on the wedding!! and, welcome home.
from thekirks :
So glad you're back and love the pictures!!!
from clarity25 :
Beautiful pictures!

WELCOME BACK, MARRIED WOMAN!!!!!!! :) XOXOXOXX
from clarity25 :
You're back! Can't wait to hear the details!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I miss you! Or maybe I'm just wishing that I was on a fabulous vacation, lol.
from clarity25 :
Thinking of you! Wishing you the best and excited for you. Best wishes, luck and love...
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*kisses* *hugs* have a wonderful time!
from thekirks :
If I don't talk to you before hand, have an awesome time! And Congratulations!
from less-than3 :
happy warm fuzzy thoughts and best wishes and YAAAAAAAAY! to you! xoxoxoxox
from humanspirit :
Don't worry about THAT chic because she is not worth it. If need be, worry about it after the vacation haha. Congratulations and have a wonderful time!
from less-than3 :
they WILL be happy tears, for sure. as hard as it is, try and let it all go, and revel in the day that will be all about you, and shane and your love. mostly you though, because, you know, it's ALL about the bride. xoxoxox
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
don't make me come up there! don't worry, everything will fall into place. what you are going through right now is perfectly normal right before your wedding. *much love*
from thekirks :
I'm sure your day will be happy. That day is about YOU and don't let anyone ruin it! Love the house!
from rae2005 :
I am the same way, i can not stand for someone to be upset with me. just try to not let her get to you. and im sure any tears on your wedding day will be tears of joy!
from rae2005 :
I am the same way, i can not stand for someone to be upset with me. just try to not let her get to you. and im sure any tears on your wedding day will be tears of joy!
from less-than3 :
love you. xox
from thekirks :
I'm sorry but she really sounds like she's enjoying being bitchy towards you! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE makes mistakes when they are drunk...I've felt stupid and embarrassed many a time. I hope things improve for you hon!
from younameit :
I take back my previous suggestion of 100-proof Rumpleminze Schnapps. :-) You're just scared out of your mind, Autum. You are about ready to make a major change in life. That probably explains your behavior (along with the drinking of too much alcohol). Your friend was hurt by your self-destruct mechanism, and she overreacted to you the way you overreacted to Shane. When a friend overreacts toward another friend, that means they may care for you a lot more than the average friend. Of course, her lack of forgiveness the next day may ruin my theory. Either way, spend the next week doing what your heart tells you to do. Don't second guess it.
from less-than3 :
ugh. some "friend". i'm so sorry. xoxoxox
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
i personally believe bachelor/bachelorette parties should be out-lawed...they always seem to cause some sort of problem. *hugs*.
from clarity25 :
I know you're not excited about the camera right NOW..but you will be when you feel better. (smiles)
from clarity25 :
We've all had nights like that, too much drinking a lot of intense emotions leading to fighting and then a pounding headache the next morning with embarrassment, regret..ugh. I've been there. It's going to be okay and it'll all be water on the bridge. It's understandable that you were upset about the lapdance..I would be too. Although Eric did that too..haha, (long story.) I exploded at him too, but in the end I realized that it meant nothing to him and it was just his friends that made him do it while he was drunk. Guys put pressure on, and the truth is..lapdances aren't that thrilling. I hope you feel better soon, girl..and congrats on the camera!
from humanspirit :
Please don't say you hate yourself...we all have done things that we regret (because of the devil that is alcohol)...it will blow over before you know it.
from humanspirit :
Have a blast tonight!!! I can't wait to see the pictures! ;)
from pinkbowshoe :
I got it done. It doesn't look nearly as big as that dot you put on your nose!! haha. People alwyas think I have some kinda sparkle or glitter and try to wipe it off! Get it! You're still young..if you want it get it, if you find you don't like it..take it out. At least you tried and gave it a shot. :)
from humanspirit :
I had a friends mom that was in her 40's and the little stud always looked hot on her. I think it's in the attitude and you are sooo not too old to get one. I think you should go for it and get it. If it doesn't work out, you can always take it out, right?
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
i'm all for piercings and have had several myself. for some stupid reason, i keep taking them out *dumbass me*. do whatever you feel good about...and as far as shane is concerned, don't i remember a tattoo incident?
from thekirks :
I think it would look really cute! I've always liked piercings like that, so I say go for it!
from less-than3 :
i'm not a fan of nosepiercings in general, so my vote is no. but then again, it actually would look good on you, so maybe yes. i don't know. i'm no help. :(
from thekirks :
Thanks so much for your note:) I feel sad I had to lock up but now I feel I can write more and honestly. Thanks for your support. I'll be thinking of you this next couple of weeks. I know your wedding and honeymoon will go beautifully.
from humanspirit :
hehe ps...thanks for the note about the cat...now I'm gonna be paronoid I'm sitting on it. LOL...Just kidding. I hope the kitty breaks out of its shell SOON. ttyl
from humanspirit :
You were just relieving tension. I am positive you felt better afterwards? I hope so. All will be better when you are soakin' up the sun on your honeymoon!
from clarity25 :
Thanks for your birthday greetings last week:), I enjoyed reading your entry on your past loves.. I look forward to the next installment.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
thanks! don't apologize for the comment. you can tell me as many times as you'd like! btw, I was just telling mer that some of us really need to try to plan some kind of w/e getaway. what do you think? (long after your wedding of course, lol.)
from less-than3 :
YAY!!!!!
from thekirks :
That is just so sad about shane's ex:( People just lose themselves somewhere along the way. I hope the next few weeks fly by for you and then you can be Mrs. Shane and no more worries about getting everything organized and done before the wedding! Hugs!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I didn't know there was such a thing as a girl that really feels beautiful all the time. *hugs*
from less-than3 :
god, do i know what you mean. i wish i could FEEL and BELIEVE in myself what people say about me. *hug*
from thekirks :
Thank you for your comment. Even though I was mad about the email I got from one diarylander, I was upset too. With my diary being so open, I HAVE to lock it up, and really, I'm not quite sure that I still shouldn't move. I'm a little paranoid, hehe. Anyway, thanks so much for sticking by me!
from clarity25 :
Yeah, it's natural to get pissy and bitchy before the wedding ceremony. Especially when people begin to screw up and cop out in the last minute. You just want to scream, because ALL you want is for everything to JUST WORK OUT. After so much planning, anticipation and stress..:). I'm sure your big day will be absolutely beautiful and wonderful!
from thekirks :
I hope people get their heads out of their asses and start calling you back and getting your wedding put together!!! Oh, and what is it about cable guys..they are either late, don't show up with the right equipment or are just total assholes! LUckily I've finally found one that is semi-decent.
from humanspirit :
A girlfriend and I were pondering the theory behind the older man and it's good to know we weren't the only ones who have noticed that. Thanks for the feedback haha.
from thekirks :
bwahaha! I'll have to let my hubby know about that one! hee! thanks for your most recent note!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Can u send me your e-mail addy again? Our hard-drive crashed like no other this weekend so I lost it. [email protected] I FINALLY updated so I'll send you a pword.
from less-than3 :
have a GREAT time at the shower - can't wait to hear about the cool crap that you get!!!! and THANK YOU so much for the birthday shout out! i totally just saved that picture so i can keep looking at it and smiling. :) xox
from thekirks :
Enjoy your bridal shower!!
from clarity25 :
It's funny how as soon as you're not available all these guys appear out of the woodwork! Maybe they sense you're taken and they want the thrill of pursuing what they can't have. Guys seem to be like that, I know exactly what you mean. Eric was talking about having a guy weekend some time soon, similiar to the one yours is taking. I also can relate to what you wrote about feeling lonely in the house too, I'm like that whenever Eric goes away on business. I must have missed your pics though. I can't seem to make them appear. Hope you're doing well, thanks for your last kind note.
from ventichai :
Hey stranger! Looks like I couldn't stay away from this place.... I was just catching up on your diary and let me just say, you're soon to be hubby is such a hottie!!! You lucky girl! And I know how you feel about not hearing from him, but you have to figure how guys are. They don't think like we do when it comes to common courtesy. I'm sure he is fine, just side tracked by all the testosterone being tossed around. Drop me a line! Hope all is going well with the wedding and that you still have some sanity left. Talk to you soon! xoxo
from less-than3 :
oh my GOD, you deserve a week off. hell...two! geeeeez.
from humanspirit :
You totally deserve a day off! Don't feel guilty at all! Sorry its taken me a few days, but, the entry with Shane's thoughts was really good. It's cool you two can share this and have a laugh about it. It's great from my (and the audience) point of view to be able to see his side as well. It was a nice treat for your readers. :)
from less-than3 :
shane, you are HOTT. seriously. she's a lucky girl. but of course, you are a VERY VERY VERY lucky guy.
from clarity25 :
Shane..You are really handsome, in that Johnny Depp sort of way, thanks for visiting and leaving an entertaining entry. *ahem*..Sorry, Aut, I am not flirting with your man, seriously..I'm not. haha:) by the way, he has the same sense of humor as Eric. We should get our guys to start their own blogs, what do you think?
from clarity25 :
Sorry you're feeling down. In regards to the guy who is flirting with you. Well, I know the feeling and how uncomfortable, confusing, overwhelming, annoying..etc it can be. He does sound weird, and I also know what you mean when you said that if you were single, you would be flattered. It's strange how some people can't respect that you're in a relationship and put you in uncomfortable positions. ugh.. Hope everything works out with that. Your idea of sitting down and having a serious talk with him sounds like the best solution. Good luck! P.S. man, that bread looks good..lol
from less-than3 :
*snuggles and hugs you and tells you everything will be okay*
from pinkbowshoe :
Those mugs are cute. You know what's odd? I only write in here on Saturday's now...and I was emptying the dishwasher and my favorite coffee mug was in there, and I thought..I should post these!! Weird. And I haven't been on here in a week!! Who knew. Anyhoo..congrats on the new house. We're trying to get one now, but it seems impossible. It takes so much money :( And as far as fatness..girl I know how you feel. But you're not fat!!! I feel the same way..but when like for instance..when I went running the other day. I was walking past people and wondering what they were thinking..like wondering if they wish they could run like me, or had my body. As much as I hate my own body, there are always worse one's off, and there's admire-ees all around. I know it takes something weird like that to realize it, but you are gorgeous. A few beers wont kill you. Enjoy yourself. You only have one life...just take it day by day with the little pieces of joy each day brings. sheesh this was long...
from younameit :
You know, it just occurred to me that my last comment was very short sighted and rude. Even if you are right about being a bit overweight (I'll have to take your word for it) those guys would definitely still be telling you that they have visions of sleeping with you. That should have occurred to me immediately. You are an extremely likable person, and I was foolishly ignorant not to think of that. I was in such a hurry to build up your confidence appearance-wise that I got carried away. The part about the Rumpleminze is still valid, though. I hope you will splurge just this once and enjoy yourself (7/21-2005).
from humanspirit :
The coffee cups are great! *Hush* big secret: I collect 'em too.. I have to get one everytime I visit a new state...NY, NV, WA, WV....the list goes on. hehe *great stuff*
from younameit :
Obviously, those guys don't see you as too fat, or they wouldn't be telling you that they have visions of sleeping with you. Did that not occur to you? :-) As crude as those guys are, they are still paying you an incredibly nice compliment that should make you feel better about yourself, no matter what you may imagine about your weight. That being said, if you wish to drink and not have it increase your weight to the degree that you say it does, you should drink something that gets you "goofy" really fast (for instance, after only a couple of shots). That way, you don't have to take in as many calories to get where you want to go. I highly, highly recommend the 100-proof German Schnapps, Rumpleminze. When chilled, it goes down as easily as peppermint candy. After just one shot, the world will tilt very pleasantly to one side very quickly, especially if you mix it with just one beer. If Rumpleminze is out of your price range (it is an expensive import), then there are domestic 100-proof Schnapps brands, too. As a former bartender, I stand by those statements. Happy tilting; and let me know the results, if you should choose to take my advice. :-)
from less-than3 :
even though, in my opinion, you are NOT fat in the least...i feel your pain, hon. drinking is baaaaaaaaaaaaad news. fun, but i pay the price. the price being new clothes because nothing fits me anymore. *sob*
from younameit :
About posting photos of your new house, etc.... How about starting a free Flickr account? You can post a total of 100 photos without having to pay (and/or a maximum of 20 MBs per month). You could just delete the oldest photos and replace them with new ones, if your account ever got that big. Best of all, you can password protect your account and hand out that password only to those you choose. I think a lot of people who list you in their favorites would like to see your photos in the upcoming months (new house, wedding, honeymoon in Hawaii, bar hopping :-).
from less-than3 :
have a safe and wonderful move! <3

i totally fear moving in with another boy for that reason. boys don't do CRAP!
from less-than3 :
why is it that when you are CLEARLY taken, boys come a-runnin' and can't take a hint? HELLO???? i'm not engaged, but i've been with dave for over a year, and guys who KNOW that still get all up in my grill. i don't get it at all...
from clarity25 :
That's great that the marriage counseling went well. Eric and I never went through that process, since we got married in a metaphysical christian church. It wasn't a requirement. I always wondered what that would be like. Geez, your wedding is just around the corner now! How exciting!
from clarity25 :
How stressful, Maybe you can ask a friend to take photograph. That's what I did, but I also knew a number of photographer majors in Art college. So that wasn't hard to find. But if you put up an ad in a local art university. You can find someone to take beautiful artistic original and unique photographs for your wedding at a short notice and for an excellent price. Good luck!
from less-than3 :
*hug*
from thekirks :
ugh! I'm so sorry hon. I hope you can find someone comparable and not too expensive. Hugs!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
:( so sorry...i'm sure everything will work out. *hugs*
from clarity25 :
Hope things become a little less stressful in the next few weeks, and everything calms down. I'm sure in the end it will all work out beautifully. Good luck with the house situation! It seems like it's moving along really well..
from thekirks :
I thought for sure you would be the one offended about golf~ha! I assumed you enjoyed playing too. I just can't understand the game!! My boss talks to me about it and I just stare blankly. hehe
from ventichai :
Thanks for the tag, now I HAVE to add an entry, geesh!!! lol So, how nervous are you about the wedding. We just celebrated our first anniversary on the 4th. It went so fast, it seems like only yesterday. All I can say is take it all in and embrace each moment. Once its over, you will learn a new meaning of boredom. lol Drop me a line if you get a chance! xoxo
from clarity25 :
"Holy hungover, batman!" Haha..Yeah, I was thinking that many mornings over this past week. I can relate to that. Sorry to hear you're going through emotional turmoil. I hope things improve for you and that you had a good fourth of July! P.S. I took that pin up test.. I was Bettie Page. That doesn't fit..I want to be Marilyn TOO!
from less-than3 :
i'm surprised that i didn't turn out to be a marilyn. go figure. have a happy rest of your 4th of july!!!
from less-than3 :
feel better!
from thekirks :
Ugh...I have felt the same way all day. Too much tequila last nite! Hope you feel better!
from less-than3 :
pfft. that quiz is crap. i had NO LUST. NONE! and clearly, that's wrong. ;)
from less-than3 :
hey girl. just wanted to say hi and good luck on the next two days! :) i can't even imagine the stress...
from ljo83 :
Okay, I'm new to your diary and I just read "101 things". Are you my long lost twin? No, seriously. Are you? Because we have a creepy amount of things in common.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*hug* when it rains, it pours. If I were in your town, you could come cry on my shoulder anytime.
from thekirks :
Love the pin! i refuse to even watch tonite. He disgusts me. I have a pin with a w on it and a big red slash thru it..hee.
from thekirks :
I can't believe everything you are having to deal with on your own! I would be a wreck too! I hope you get some much needed help soon and can relax a bit before your wedding. Good luck with the moving and your papers that are due!
from humanspirit :
I have faith in you...you'll get through everything alright. Use DL to vent, it seems to be a VERY good tool for me.
from less-than3 :
it's definitely not you. dland has just been sucking ass for way too long now. i'm still here, tho. if i left, i'd surely let you know where. <3
from younameit :
5. Kiss someone of the same sex? "...on purpose? no." ---- About your answer... Ummm..., can you guess what I'm just itching to ask? :-)
from clarity25 :
I know what you mean, it's just moments like that you realize how grateful you are! He sounds so great..man, I could use some BBQ right now:). I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out with the loan you were hoping for and that you're so stressed out about the wedding. It's so easy to get caught up in it all and it gets so crazy. Especially the closer the date is.. THere are people to invite..people you can't invite..preparations.. running around..anticipations..expectations from just about everyone. You want everyone to be happy and YOU want to be happy. There are the ideas of the perfect wedding from your childhood, but also a budget. It's easy to lose sight of what is most important. I had to remind myself.. What I want is a happy marriage, that's what it's all about. The wedding is just a ceremony, but the relationship is all that truly matters. The day will end, and you'll have a lot of pictures and memories. But it's not what's so important. Because then you have the rest of your life together in front of you. When I thought of that, I calmed down a bit when it came to my own wedding. I relaxed and it took a bit of the pressure off myself. Remember it's IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone.
from less-than3 :
awww! you've got a good one.
from less-than3 :
look at you and your madd italicizing skillz! heh. god, i hope your load lightens up for you soon. you deserve a break, truly.
from humanspirit :
I feel your pain. Starting in the fall, I will be working my butt off the next 3 quarters to graduate with my B.A. Good luck with not stressing out too much!
from less-than3 :
for italics you put <i> and </i> around whatever you want italicized. for strikeouts, you use <s> and </s>, underline is <u> and </u>, bold is <b> and </b>. hope this helps!
from claritynew :
Thank you for your note. Things are getting better. Yes, I know what you mean about feeling old! The first site I go to when I log onto the internet is New York Times.com and start reading news articles. Every morning! I remember watching my parents pour of the newspaper in the morning with coffee. I would just pull out the comics, then roll my eyes and walk off. I thought "God..they're so old. How boring is that?" haha. Hope you have a good weekend.
from less-than3 :
aww. feel better, sweetie! (and i've never seen meet the fockers either. but that's because ben stiller irritates me to no end)
from less-than3 :
i don't see what people say they see in me, either. but you ARE 100% beautiful. in every way. i feel like singing the christina aguilera song right now...
from thekirks :
I started going to the tanning places that just had one kind of laydown bed as long as they had newer bulbs. I think those other places are a rip off! Have fun golfing!
from thekirks :
I hope you get to feeling better soon hon!
from humanspirit :
Thanks! One of my buddies knows how to put pics up, so, hopefully I can get some posted soon.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
yup, naked...now there's a scary thought!
from clarity25 :
Hey, I'll join your pity party:). I'm sorry you're not feeling well, hope you feel better soon. Oh and for the record, I've gotten drunk and made a fool of myself MANY a time. So whatever happened..can't be nearly as bad as some of the embarrassments I've lived through. Keep your chin up:)
from humanspirit :
I'm still thinking about that dream and wondering about that boy...it is very wierd.
from humanspirit :
Don't worry-I've had way too many nights where I was that drunk jack ass. We've all had those moments and now I wish someone was there for mine to take pictures. ;)
from thekirks :
Unfortunately, Robert doesn't really know what to do for me. He doesn't talk much about the baby, etc, and he doesnt know what to say to make me feel better. He's there for me as much as he can be though. I wish I had more close friends near me, but I'm so thankful to have my diary friends!
from less-than3 :
gah! that's not what i mean! *smacks self in the head* i truly AM a dumbass...
from less-than3 :
you are BRILLIANT! that's exactly what it was. i'm a dumbass. :(
from less-than3 :
dland is FUCKED UP. it's told me for the past 2 days that NO ONE has read my diary. luckily i have another stats tracker. my profile picture STILL wont work, and i've sent at least 3 help requests about THAT alone. i swear, i'm going to defect to another diarysite or something...
from less-than3 :
what an awesome quote. i'm glad your leg is doing better. xox
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Yeah, stairmasters are hell, but they do make your butt look good though!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I'm having second thoughts about starting a workout routine now...I know what it feels like to screw up your calves. Glad you can walk now! ;)
from thekirks :
I wish they would pump our gas here, I hate getting out and doing it in the winter time or rain:) I have a yellow xterra..alot of people don't like it but I do!
from thekirks :
omg! When I got my xterra about 2 wks after wards the engine light came on. We took it in and they said the same thing! Said I needed to make sure it clicks 3 times! So weird hehe.
from thekirks :
Thanks so much for your kind note. I, too hope that the next results come out right! And the way I want them too:)
from clarity25 :
I'm so sorry about your friend, I didn't know what to say when you first wrote about it. I was at a loss for words. I know what you mean about it being difficult to write about, and wanting to have your friends get together to remember his life. It's so hard losing someone like that. Oh and Eric was wary of Diaryland at first too, and he thought it was weird. Now he urges me to do it, because he thinks it's a great idea. The idea of a community of people sharing their life experiences.
from pinkbowshoe :
that's so great to find a true friend like that in life. I've had a friend for years who i used to call my best freind, but the years have split us apart and we're not the same kids we were years ago. I do miss that part of being young. Sorry about the lil orange machine. That's crazy that your VW dealer is that booked up. Isn't there any other one around? That's what our crackhead customers do..call another dealer, make an appt., then call us back to brag about it. Gotta love it.
from less-than3 :
ugh. auto troubles. :(
from younameit :
You are a chameleon, f-girl; and I mean that in a very good way.
from less-than3 :
awwww! that's so great. i miss my best friend from high school.
from clarity25 :
I loved your trip down memory lane and description of how your friendship developed. It reminded me so much of my own youth and the way my friendship with my bestfriend, Colleen started. It was so similiar in so many ways!.. Especially your description of what you looked like during those awkward years, that was me too! Even the transformation..in the same way! Look forward to seeing the pictures:)
from less-than3 :
i'm so sorry about your friend. that's so horrible. i'm thinking of you, and him, and his family, and your whole crew of friends. xox
from thekirks :
I am so so so sorry hon...my thoughts go out to his family and to you.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
*hugs* so sorry about your friend.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Oh, please be careful!!!
from pinkbowshoe :
haha..I read your answers and was like..hmm similiar. lol. Now I know why! :) STAY IN YOUR OFFICE, OR RUN AWAY. I'd be chicken shitted out of that place if I had to deal w/ gang fights, blood. That's horrible. I hope you have a good weekend despite that madness.
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Congrats on the house! Looks like things are really looking great for you right now :)
from less-than3 :
you didn't miss much on the AI finale. 1hour and 55 minutes of fluff. 5 minutes of actual substance. some parts were funny though. and bo singing "sweet home alabama" with skynyrd (skynard? skynerd?) was pretty cool.
from ventichai :
Your wedding sounds absoultely classic! Enjoy every moment of this whole experience, it goes by fast. The first week after our wedding, I was so depressed that I didn't have any more planning to do. i'm sure it will be beautiful! And it is so funny that you are doing that job at the golf course, I was thinking of doing the same thing for the summer! XOXO
from thekirks :
So happy for you that you got the job! Congrats!
from pinkbowshoe :
Congrats on the job!! Woo-hoo. I didnt' know they made those kind of requirements for your license. Tough state. In this state you can have your BS in whatever and go get your license..or you can do like me and get your masters in education and make 20-30k more a year just by having that degree. Blah. But, anhoo...congrats again!
from less-than3 :
woo hooooooooooooo!!!! YAY!!!!
from less-than3 :
congrats on no more coaching!! it's currently 2pm NJ time, so i guess in 3 hours you'll be interviewing. *crossing fingers*
from pinkbowshoe :
What are you getting your Masters Degree in?
from less-than3 :
shameless plea for notes! hehehe. love it!
from pinkbowshoe :
http://pinkbowshoe.diaryland.com/040923_58.html go look at that entry from like September!! :) so weird!!
from clarity25 :
That job sounds like fun, I would love the prospect of dressing up in heels, giving sexy smiles and interacting with different people. It's not so bad to show off a bit of your sex appeal..while you're young! (and for the record. You ARE beautiful) I hope it works out and you get the job. Also I loved the entry with the description of your wedding! It sounds like it's going to be amazing, the dress is stunning and that car is awesome!
from pinkbowshoe :
Your wedding is going to be so beautiful!!! I hope it's as gorgeous as it sounds. I havn't even begun anything on mine yet. And so yeah...we are long lost twins. Don't even say you have the turbo sport orange beetle w/ black and orange leather or I will just die. I drooled (seriously) over this car..and almost bought it before I got my CV orange one. Wow. :) Love, love the dress, too!
from neon7c :
i thought they were those frozen mini pizza bagel things...but yeah, they kinda look gross.
from less-than3 :
heh. i say go for it! you definitely are pretty enough, and you've got the personality to boot. that equals BIG TIPS, sweetie. pffft. do you KNOW how much i'd love to be a "shot girl"? is that wrong of me? heheh.
from less-than3 :
i'm about to cry. but in a good way. it all sounds so beautiful. and as jealous as i am (as ANY single girl would be - hehehe), MORE OVERWHELMINGLY i am so unbelievably happy for you. you look beautiful, and it's going to be an amazing day. <3
from less-than3 :
god, you're so pretty. luckily, you're pretty on the inside, too. and that's the REALLY important part. :D
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Hang in there!!!
from less-than3 :
damn, what a disaster that was!!!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
I'm sure your bachelorette party will be much more fun ;) Don't feel so guilty about the $$. We all blow a little money from time to time.
from humanspirit :
Haha too cute ;)
from thekirks :
aww I'm sorry hon. Unfortunately, I know how disappointing things like this can be. Things will work out and more than likely you will end up in a house you adore even more than the one you thought you were getting! Hugs!
from less-than3 :
:(
from clarity25 :
Sorry about the disappointment with the house, but the previous note is right..keep your head up, things have a way of working out just how they're supposed to in the end.
from ventichai :
Sorry about the news. I know the feeling, though. Here we found the perfect house, and we couldn't get it either. Keep your head up though. Things like this usually just come in due time. XOXO
from less-than3 :
damn! congrats on the house! that's so awesome!!! :)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Woooohoo! We finally get pictures? YAY! Hot momma :)
from less-than3 :
romance? what's that? i just word things pretty. what my entry said is that we're going to this concert - a really good singer/songwriter - we'll probably hit a bar afterwards, then collapse in the hotel room and maybe order some dominos b/c room service is already closed. :)
from less-than3 :
3 weeks to go and the dresses haven't come in?!?!? damn. isn't that cutting it a BIT close??? geez.
from less-than3 :
if we lived near eachother, we'd be partying HARDCORE tonight. sexy bitches causin' trouble! hehehehe. <3
from clarity25 :
Thanks so much for your last note:), I like your new location and layout. quite nice!..oh and I loved the pictures. You're beautiful! P.S. My hair is naturally wavy too..it's all over the place. I love having it straight, but it's just a pain. But Eric claims he loves the "tousled look". Your hair looks great both ways.
from less-than3 :
amen to that. d-land needs to get it's shit together, for real. love your hair, tho. you're so pretty. <3
from thekirks :
Great pics and I love your hair either way!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Well, hell, I never claimed to be really smart!!! Damn.
from thekirks :
eek! need the passwords for the other journal?! Couldn't find your email though.
from thekirks :
yay! so glad i'm able to read!:)
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
Hey...thanx for the add!
from ventichai :
Its refreshing, isn't it?! Well, heres to a new start for the both of us! xoxo -pix
