Kinda creepy for a girl that was very sheltered for more than half of her life. lol But I hear ya, I know what you mean. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize it until you said something.

Thanks for the note. :) ... I went to your diary to tell you and broke down crying. It was the pic of the clay girls with an A on one chest and an M on the other, I thought it was so perfect and so fucking sad- they don't have mouths. Somedays I think that at least for me the whole problem is that I never learned how to trully open my mouth. And all the words left unsaid grew heavy, filled me with a weight that no amount of starvation could ever free me of....but maybe I just think to much all together. I wish you the best, and send my love.

Hi, thanks for the note. I really enjoy reading your diary, I like the layout or format or whatever you want to call it. In answer to your question, things are pretty tense over here. I was just thinking yesterday about how much great portions of the world hate America. I mean really hate, with a passion. I'm not the most patriotic person but the US is still my country, even though I don't agree with it's foreign policy, so it bothers me to hear people talking with such vehemence against the US. It's pretty scary. But in terms of my personal safety, I'm not worried. I live in a regular Saudi neighborhood, not in a foreigners' compound, those are the areas that have been targeted. I fully cover when I go out so I don't appear foreign at all. But your average person on the street in all of the Middle East has at least a dislike, if not something stronger, for the US government. Most of them actually like the American people because Americans are good people in general, but they hate the American government. Most of this anger comes from the way the US treats Israel and ignores the Palestinian struggle. And now of course, the war in Afghanistan and Iraq are not helping the US's image overseas. Anyway, sorry to ramble. Hope that answers your question, if you've got any more you think I can answer, let me know. Take care.
