Interesting poem! How are you measuring photon packets and angstrom units? I hope that you update more this year!
from freakyouout :
wow @repressedgrl you and me go way back. not sure when you wrote this note but I rarely check my notes anymore, maybe I should. thank you for dropping by. I always appreciated your fiery fight of faith, and love.
from freakyouout :
Hello @degausser, good to see you're still around, even if by another name. all part of the metamorphosis of life, right?
from freakyouout :
@anarchrist7 - thanks for commenting, fellow poet. will check yours out.
from anarchrist7 :
A fellow poet! I glanced through a couple of yours. Plan to be back :-) I dunno if you'd appreciate the content in mine, but there are some gems mixed in.
from degausser :
Hello there! I just noticed you updated. I used to be love-fatal, loversvanity, etc. Good to see you updating!
from repressedgrl :
Hello. Wow it's been a long time since I've written here, but I plan on writing poetry on a regular basis again. Thank you for being the only one on my buddy list to not delete me off yours (although I don't blame people for doing so, I would've) Anyway I look forward to reading your poems again! Just so you know I've long abandoned my Miedema2002 diary. I'm illusionless.diaryland.com now. Let me know if you want to read my other diaries and I'll give you the user/pass for it/them. I hope you are doing well and take care.
from freakyouout :
@truth - thank you. this is just where I practice spitting out lyrics.
from truth2seek :
Amazing poetry you got there. Or, lyrics?
from talktogod :
8/16/09--Good one today...kind of reminds me of the Rolling Stones song, "She's So Cold"

from silentpoetry :
Hello kind being, Thank you for seeing, The words that I confess, And although it sounds like I'm a mess, you were able to see right through, congratulations from me to you...Thank you for your support, I've never been the 'share my feelings' sort, but you are making it hard for me, your words just light the fire within me...You keep writing, and I'll keep reading, and hopefully I'll keep writing, For as long as I'm still breathing.
from silentpoetry :
I thank thee for the compliment, to list you is my intent...as well, as all...farewell, don't fall. Nice writing!
from shotsofvodka :

19 August, Re: outsideofyou. How's that old song go...Killing Me Softly...sure you're not living in my town, watching? This was brilliant, as always.
from bannu :
Thank you for the note Jamie. Will stay in touch :)
from bannu :
Hello. From your messenger id I understand your name must be Jamie. You write beautifully Jamie. I chanced upon your diary for the first time yesterday and have read a couple of your poems. Your poetry has a lot of depth in its simplicity. I hope you understand what I mean. Your words are well chosen, well knit and bring about a very profound feeling. I enjoy reading your poems. Please keep writing. Thank you.
from pondlife :
While I know it's impossible, sometimes, just sometimes I think you've been watching. Thank you for having the words for far too many of my own thoughts.

It's called fatherhood-the second time around. And, not surprisingly, it isn't any easier this time. I wish I had something worthwhile to write about. Or even something not so, but life is getting in the way. Oh wells..

from elegantfreak :
Have you ever performed your poetry live? Some of it just begs to be spoken out loud. Thanks for the book recomendation. Unfortunately, I think my problem is more a communication issue than anything. But I appreciate the interest. And seriously, the spoken poem thing is making a comeback. You should do it (if you don't already).
from oceans-depth :
That was beautifully written. I like your style. xooxo Deja

Thanx for the b-day note keep writing awsome poetry take care
from lotusgirl66 :
Nope, I don't mind. My main email is [email protected].
from lotusgirl66 :
Wow! That's awesome! Care to share you're moment of truth with me? Or is it one of those "you must figure it out on your own" kind of enlightenments. Because I'm cool with that too. I just need a little nudge (or shove, as the case may be) along the right path...By the way, how did you happen upon my diary?
from ophelialetgo :
Oh, that's sweet! Thank you!
from lotusgirl66 :
Really?? Was it one of those epiphanous moments? Or were you just on shrooms...Fill me in!

I'd love to ask you a million things. Email me [email protected]

hello, Miss me?... I updated.. do not have my own puter but I will try to keep you up to date on my personal hells, woes... and life... c.c.
from lovehatelove :
thanks for the hug the other day ;) I needed it! So, I'm extremely curious now. Why dont you tell me more about you.......
from psycho-chik :
Man, that movie rocks...
from lovehatelove :
why, Yes....you are a renaissance man and quite intriguing as well!
from lovehatelove :
So, what exactly do you do? Your extremely talented...I'm quite impressed.
from lovehatelove :
Honestly, I think I have become addicted. You are seriously amazing! The fact that you write so well, and so often inspires me :) Today, you have been the best part of my day :-)
from lovehatelove :
Thanks for your kind note, I absolutely LOVE your diary and would never had known had you not sent me a note....I have been missing so much. You are now on my *favorites* as well.
from ccmello76 :
hey babes... I misseed you too!... got rid of the puter so I am using my friends puter to say I have not forgotten my friends!!!.. latahs!!!
from psycho-chik :
Awesome possum -- best rhyme ever ;)
from psycho-chik :
Haha, indeed. May you one day go that way then :P
from psycho-chik :
Precisely. ...I once had a cat who would injure a mouse, then play with it - never eating it - until it died, then left it be. Perhaps I had more in common with my cat than I thought :P
from psycho-chik :
Hmm... this is also true to an extent... though I'm not sure that I'm entirely bored with this one yet.
from psycho-chik :
This is true... but I'm an addict for control...
from psycho-chik :
you would think so... but funny thing about strings, I just find myself so tied up.
from treedancer :
awww! heh. alas, not a programmer, no - not how you mean anyway. besides which, you haven't had the pleasure of my typos ;) that aside, if you want to have a chat, feel free. e-mail details are in the nav. bit of the diary, just take out the "no spam" bit and put something relevant in the subject title else it'll go straight to "junk" and you'll leave me a diary note to say:"hey, you know what? I'm never writing to you again because you NEVER REPLY!" and I'll be like: ummm? ;)
from treedancer :
nope, not at all. i just had the feeling that going down the "traditional" publishing route was one you had walked before - just a feeling, and doubtless incorrect.* my note to you was supposed to be an encouraging "do it!" kind of note. i see many people (or used to) who think what they write Rocks The World, and too few who's stuff actually does, but they won't share it, they won't make that leap of faith because of the demons of self doubt, rejection etc. i was thinking about this today, funnily enough, you gave me an idea for something. in terms of media, go with what suits you best, nothing less in this technological world. *forgive me? best of luck with it. :)
from treedancer :
i think you should reconsider and submit: there is potential here.
from psycho-chik :
*hug back* Thank you. It may be too early to say for certain, but I've made the step from depressed to gray-middle-ground.
from treedancer :
heh, timing. You are so right there *grin. Thanks for the advice. :) A question, if you will? If SodaJerk has an element of personal truth to it, why haven't you sold your writing/art? *peers. Can't say much about the art (haven't seen it) but I have a feeling you don't just write poetry. What do you have to lose? In "nbas" good friends don't hurry, they go with the flow and houses matter not - "there are no walls here" was said to me once, which I completely agree with. I like your line "pulling you to someplace west of east.." Going back to "flow" I'm reading something at the moment: I'll paste a paragraph in the diary & you might see something in it, or what I am on about. Or you might not ;)
from psycho-chik :
It's times like this I wish you 'damn-well' wouldn't. It's times like this that I wish you'd just let me kill myself a little bit more. Let me destroy my mind. Let me condemn myself for all eternity, or whatever spiteful thought may enter your mind. But try to stop me, and it will only fuel my desires more.
from psycho-chik :
If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple as that. But to be frank, this is my journal, and if I feel a violent streak in my mind one day, then I can write about it to my heart's content -- which does not mean that I'm about to go out on the street and shoot a little kid in the head. Also, cut the god references, you know that means dick-all to me.
from treedancer :
your note: i am intrigued. your last ten - nice. i like the experimentation of reading across and down, or indeed anywhich way, and do similar in some of the qan stuff. "bloom loom" - soothes.
from psycho-chik :
When I get a note from you, I sometimes wonder if you recall at all the person I am
from treedancer :
sometimes i wonder what your words would look like in pictures. or as music. or both.
from elegantfreak :
Seuss-ian, Sorta. Without the deranged imagery but keeping a grip the sweet flow. Totally diggable.
from treedancer :
*sigh. it was a joke, as indicated by the wink emoticon. nevermind.
from treedancer :
*chuckle. very good. not a lawyer as well as a poet are you? ;)
from treedancer :
heh! "scurvey dog" *gleeful grin. I can see a plank and the point of a sword. nice. agree with your line about not believing what you read; reminds me of people who think the "I" in a narration is the "I" of the writer, when they are not always the same. do you know what i mean?
from treedancer :
"Jack Handy" I know not; never heard of him, hence I completely missed your ref. Google tickled and info revealed: I've been looking for something new to read, so will see if any of the stores here carry his books. *peers. any room in that corner or would you prefer me to find my own? you would? ok then ;)
from treedancer :
what? i have no idea what you are talking about. i thought you might appreciate his writing, and gave you a link. that is all. *shrug.
from treedancer :
heh, thankfully i don't recall my "4th grade." it was more just a holding page to the rest of his stuff. i'm glad you liked it.
from treedancer :
if you haven't seen this guy's stuff already, take a moment to read through? http://mattferrara.diaryland.com/030710_15.html
from looooo :
haha you're so cute =] I'm glad someone besides myself enjoys it when I make fun of others =D
from treedancer :
"topographic dreams" rocks.
from treedancer :
okeydokey.
from treedancer :
so it does say that, so it does. thankyou for putting me right. please accept my apologies. *mutters to self* - must re-read lines and _think_ before commenting. The QAN note...errr?
from treedancer :
ugh- damn lack of preview and my fuddleheadedness. The last line in your poem - about law and charity? That's what I agree with, although wanted to impose "love" instead - eh. Your "shot in the dark" - heh, made me laugh. :)
from treedancer :
*grin - ok, i must take better note of my phrasing. i do however agree with your last line completely. i like the pod idea too ;) as for the rest? you are welcome: i'm pleased that you write, share it and don't mind talking about it. funnily enough, my last one came partly as a reaction to some of the things in your recent writing. it's not a subject area that i ever have written about, but it emerged (heh, for better or worse) - and it made a change: that's not a bad thing either ~ so, "thankyou" comes rightbackatcha. :)
from treedancer :
heh, yep I am unconvinced - not that darkness cannot be lit, I believe it can (hrmmmmmm....mental note to self: remember that) - and don't say by a candle or lightbulb either ;) But by what it can be lit, is where we differ I think? And that's fine that we differ. Then again, we have not discussed this, and my assumption is from your poetry - which of course, could be totally wrong. Personally, I don't believe in God, but like I said, that's just my own view.
from youturnaway :
Aw. It's locked but you can get in if you like. Username: youturnaway password: driven :)
from treedancer :
I googled the 'Time' lyric: yep, I can see why you like it. Good stuff.
from treedancer :
can only recall one pink floyd lyric (i think?) - about education and bricks through walls. might know more if i heard them. on love: eh... thankyou anyway. meant to say previously but forgot, the jungle poem produces a rare smile - so yay for that.
from treedancer :
Time doesn't heal. Time allows perspective. Love heals. Simple as.
from elegantfreak :
I'm Watching and I see Everything except what Pertains to me. (You are a creative inspiration. Thank you!)
from treedancer :
heh, yes! very valid point. :)
from treedancer :
i see. thankyou for that. :)
from treedancer :
"sight wired" - would you mind explaining the ending? I'm curious? If he likes her, why leave? unless of course, it's that whole commit deal. heh. I like the sentiment running throughout about physicality ~ interesting subject, & it's a theme / train of thought that's in my most recent stuff, sparked by a row about photographs. I don't think they do people "justice" - I'm not sure you get the essence of people just from a quick pic? Sound strange? They say that photographs don't mislead but I don't agree with that; I think they do? Eh, I could rattle on about this at length. mebbe it shold be a diary entry. Mebbe you should limit your notes to like 50 words only - might keep me quiet(-er.) heh :)
from treedancer :
awe, eh? no, no, I am not worthy - but, thankyoumuchly even so! *blushes madly. There are shorter ones - four lines at most. oo. Frosted chocolate shakes. Yay! :) And again, thankyou.
from treedancer :
imploring? yes indeed. it strikes me as powerful & positive; it's a plea but it has diginity to it, which is why I think it works well. it so easily could've fallen into a whine, but that's not it at all. I guess it depends on how it's read and what the reader (I?) projects onto the poem. Emotions are yanked in this all the way through - the photo sorting line, stands out for me. I don't think this box is big enough to get into it all (or I am not feeling particularly concise: no change there then, eh?) - but, just to end, the power of FeastDay's last line reminds me of "appease" and the feelings behind that: the "it'll be ok in the end 'cos I command it to be so, and we have Love, so you better Trust Me and have some Faith!" school of thought. heh. Comments in the link if you're interested? If not, no worries. :)http://quietatnight.diaryland.com/appease.html
from treedancer :
thankyou for the name(s).
from treedancer :
i seem to be going for notebook domination it would seem - apologies. anyways: "feast day" - there's something about it which makes me feel sad, and then there's the last line. eh.
from treedancer :
"I always feel like somebody's watchin' me" - song line, but can't recall the artist - now running through my head on auto-repeat. heh.
from treedancer :
okeydokey. Thankyou. :)
from treedancer :
urk - oh dear, oh dear: major comms glitch I think? You said: "I left some things unsaid... there really is no intent in my mention of a treedancer" yes, yes, I know that - mine to you was a only a generic comment (or at least intended as such, perhaps not phrased well in hindsight, despite the "wink") but, I do truly think the world would be a better place if more people were intune to dancing trees - merely a metaphor and absolutely *nothing* to do with me personally - how could it even be so? That would be arrogant in the extreme not to mention absurd: you know me not. For all of that, I stand by what I said -you did ask me what I liked about it, I told you :) - mebbe you didn't want quite as much detail. heh. Noted for next time. No worries. I still like it though. I'm pleased you share your stuff. Thankyou.
from treedancer :
For "wine in time" I like (in no particular order :)): the humour and playfulness of the whole thing (as it strikes me, at least); nice title, heh; the word play; the energy of it; the various tones it could be read which to my ears, gives it a slightly different feel each time; the imagery; I appreciate the various conceits running throughout - great stuff; also, the sexuality of it. Finally, the age old delight of love "working out" - leave it to the writers, artists and musicians to keep that alive. In "faerie fly" - the image of such a creature alighting on a forehead, tinkerbell at the camp fire etc - that would make a good drawing I think? And in the other? Not sure I understand your intent, but, there just aren't enough dancing trees ;)
from treedancer :
I like "wine in time" muchly.
from treedancer :
heh, i guess it is all relative, yep. :) i think the best part of love is when it's no longer unrequited, but reciprocated? not sure there can be anything better? heh, not that i'd know, but that hasn't stopped me from thinking about it ;)
from treedancer :
I'd agree with you about the power of love to heal. The thing is, maybe some people just aren't lucky enough to have that? That utterly depressing thought aside, I like the upbeat nature of some of your poems. Then again, I think I may have said that before.
from phreak13 :
poetry's not half bad man.
from treedancer :
*grin - somethings are better not explained, just enjoyed? ;) Thanks for the note. :)
from treedancer :
"shot of love" is just great. I think "brain wave zappers" should be on sale at all known retail stores. ;)
from looooo :
Awww thank you! You're so sweet =) Are your poems/lyrics your own?
from treedancer :
heh, intuition? ;) There's a certain energy and musicality to your words - or at least that's how it strikes me. I like it.
from treedancer :
Are you musical, if you don't mind the question? :)
from treedancer :
You're welcome: and, my previous note about reminders? Meant as a compliment. :)
from treedancer :
the line about basil leaves reminds me of a friend; actually, a couple of your poems reminds me of him. that's not a bad thing, it's just..? i don't know, something. heh.
from youturnaway :
Thank you for the kind note.
from psycho-chik :
well, thanks for the note, and I suppose if you can muster up the energy to write one, then I can struggle to return the favour.
from treedancer :
Problem not: I think it's because I mentioned an appointment at the dr's surgery - "surgery" being a place in this instance, not a procedure. But, thanks for the good luck despite that - I really don't like drs. heh.
from psycho-chik :
what up pup
from treedancer :
heh, thankyou. but, surgery...? I am confused. :)
from treedancer :
"Safe Landing" I like. Thanks for sharing your stuff. :)
from mochabunny :
Wow...thanks. You're awfully nice =)
from fraudulent :
thank you so much for your note it put a smile on my face and made today a little better. <3 J.
from treedancer :
'ello - thanks for the note :) Locks: yep, something about bowing to demand and remaining not locked I think? Foreign stuff I have to say. heh. "spelunk" a good word. "Mental heart attack" indeed. I can relate to that line. ;)
from treedancer :
Greetings - liked your nick; liked your writing more. Good stuff.
from pixiepoet :
I think you're writing is wonderful. And I hope you continue to use your talent so that I may read your work in the future as well.
from pixiepoet :
Thank you.
from psycho-chik :
hah, you might. Who knows
from psycho-chik :
quarterback?!? ... are you trying to tell me that I have big manly shoulders... ;)
from psycho-chik :
Heh, down for the count, nay... I was just down and out -- lil unconscious, lil disillusioned. And never *back* just visiting :P
from psycho-chik :
1...2...3...PIN??
from psycho-chik :
HAHahahaHA lost and perforated. I love it! I'm gonna hafta put that on a shirt or something :P you rule.

from psycho-chik :
*what's it all about, alice?* is just gorgeous! yay
from psycho-chik :
Haha, lost and lovable? :\ makes me sound like those crazy puppy dogs that follow people around. ;) Hee hee. thanks. :)
from frostywords :
Thanks.
from mochabunny :
Awwww..my first marriage proposal ever! :) I knew someone else out there enjoyed reading John Calvin! I do wish I could write as well as you though.
from x0lulu0x :
thank you!
from psycho-chik :
"We're good though right." Well that depends, seeing as velocity rap tour relates... are you going to leave like you promise in that poem? Cuz if you are, then no, we aren't good Lolz :P
from psycho-chik :
no no, it wasnt the latest. It was the one... i believed entitled 'it aint over' which just made me feel kinda... targeted i guess. I dont know, maybe it just about all the other people out there just like me, but not me specifically, but I think thats why your stuff affects me, i seemingly relate to alot of it, and get upset i guess. Err. I'm eloquent. :)
from psycho-chik :
Seems like you have more to say to me than I'm led to believe through email. ('concerning the previous entry...') I dont expect you to understand, and I'm sorry you seem so aggravated and sickened by me.
from psycho-chik :
I find it interesting. And I'm sure I do the same. Inspiration, a muse. Comes from random places. I just get that urge, and have to make it my own. I enjoy the interconnection...
from psycho-chik :
Ever notice how our poems are just... related? The words, the images...all just.. there? There's an odd vibe here, that floats between, interweaving our thoughts.....
from psycho-chik :
"It's all *LOVE*" is just gorgeous. I admire your ability to write so brilliantly. Astounding to say the least
from wrongavatar :
how do you get words to come out of your head like that? it's nifty
from psycho-chik :
and the rest of that poem as *I* knew it was '..cow plop pig plop and everything that I could eat and me without my spoon, but I got a straw... sluuuurp'
from psycho-chik :
I just wanted to quickly assure you that the berating was *not* about you. It was about another friend, but I'll explain that in my next email :)
from iamnotunique :
your note was much appreciated as was your imput...but here's the thing again. you say that god is a merciful god...if that's true, how can he condemn people to hell when he created them that way in the first place?
from psycho-chik :
Your poems seem so insightful. They touch a certain part of me.
from fraudulent :
I just wanted to say I love your diary.
from psycho-chik :
I love love love the Sept. 24 entry! "once they raped and packaged her, made her hate and trafficked her". Magnificent!! It has wonderful rythym and message. Adoration adorns my mind! Such a talent, such a gem! Ladies and gents, round of applause please
from ccmello76 :
OMG!.. that was such a strong message... but a good one... Intense.. but that is how I feel alot of times... The worse part is I use to be thin and think I was fat till my body turned on me and i really crossed over into a new world... but at least most of the peeps I have met here are nice not callow!
from ccmello76 :
wow, i ran across your journal, and I read your update today, and it is to the point..kick ass!...I hope you do not mind i added you to my fave list?
from psycho-chik :
Thank you for the note! The support is incredibly sweet. Thanx a mill.
from fraudulent :
<3
from x0lulu0x :
thank you so much for that incredible compliment.
from wickedsister :

from cutejamie :
Hi! ummm...well you added me to your fave diary things. thanx. your diary seems pretty cool!
from godisalie :
but if you leave out the diety you wish to talk aboot then you leave out the whole concept of existance. i dont say ifinity is impossible, i just say its impossible with the limits we put on our "gods" its like dividing by zero, thats what god would have to be.. everything yet nothing.. i think.. maybe im wrong.
from godisalie :
applied to the christian god?
from joker-m :
Thanks for taking the time to leave that note on my diary. It helps a lot to know that someone is reading it and that there are people (like yourself) out there to give advice on what I consider to be the biggest necessity in life besides chocolate and thats religion. Hope all is well. xox
