from wild-fire :
Hello, I was just reading diaries from Connecticut and I thought yours was very interesting! You can check me out sometime.
from thirdeye7601 :
Well, I've been gone forever, but finally I have been able to read up on all my friends...I'm glad to see that everything is going great for you!! I hope everything continues great and hope to hear from ya soon! ;)
from ursamajor :
Glad you're okay. We'll be back to Chicago in May for Sandie's 30th birthday. Maybe we can swing by and grab you then...
from heidiann :
Why did I not know you had started updating again? I'm confused as to how you let left my buddy list. But you're back on it so HA!
from jfsuperstar :
don't fret about xmas cards...that's how it happens for us too. let's hope your dream fares a correct result on our journey to get preggars!
from jfsuperstar :
damn it, teri! now i have that fucking song in my head. pppppthhhhh!!!!
from ursamajor :
I'm so happy you updated! I was just thinking of you this weekend, wondering how the new job is going.
from jfsuperstar :
hey there...i'm going to kalamazoo on saturday!!! i have some business to attend to, but wanted to know: do you want to meet at water street coffee joint at 8pm that night? let me know by emailing me at [email protected] hopefully we'll get to see each other live!!!! if you can't meet, no biggie, perhaps another time.
from redhott27 :
Hey I just got your note from looooong ago! Thanks! If you are on myspace, hit me up: www.myspace.com/missychristen. I am on there MUCH more frequently than here.
from ursamajor :
I am SO happy to hear that the new job is feeling so groovy. You certainly deserve it after this past year!
from thirdeye7601 :
Wow, I'm so jealous. Sounds like you had the perfect vacation...nice.
from ursamajor :
Oh my, we are SO much alike. Pumpkin ale... perhaps one of my very favorites! :)
from starlight42 :
Isn't cashing in that unemployment check wonderful?? Only sad thing for me, is that I only have a few more weeks, then no more "free money". :( And no extensions are being given!!
from loudwoman :
Aw! You are a sweetie!
from ursamajor :
Sweet! Thanks to those bigots at Focus on the Family - I'm never going to have to pay for another gift for my mother-in-law again! I just placed my first $100 order... and I'll be back again, and again, and again, and again...
from sherpahigh :
Hey... haven't left a note for a while. I do have PCOS... if I never told you, but tomorrow I also go for an MRI to make sure I don't have a brain tumor to match. They discovered an abnormalty on/of my pituitary... I'm just riddled with lumps and bumps I can't even see. I hope you've been keeping well... and smiling lots. xo.
from ursamajor :
Congrats!
from kungfukitten :
Congrats on winning unemployment. I can't believe they went to the extend of showing up in court. Sheesh. And I hope you feel better soon, that does not sound fun at all.
from redhott27 :
Been there, done that. The Michigan Lottery is just as big of a whore. They brought my entire HR file, the HR rep, my boss, and several other "character witnesses". At one point, the judge asked if they were going to make a point, or introduce any new information, instead of just giving their opinions on me. It was great. Took almost a year, but I won too! That check will feel GREAT in your hands.
from paeggan :
You see - Lady Justice did her bit :-) Hoped you'd win your case; glad you did. Paeggan OX Woo-hoo! The Goddess is love.
from jfsuperstar :
i have found that even if a woman has a "normal" life experience, whatever the hell that is, that she inevitably struggles with feeling beautiful. our (insert sarcasm here) wonderful american culture feeds into that: fear and consume. beauty is everywhere, and it takes a lot of work to change how we see things. it shouldn't have to be that way, but it is. practice makes better, not perfect. you are beautiful. you might have not had your pretty supershero cape on that day, but you did rub one out which counts for something, ha-ha.
from forty-plus :
Thanks for visiting and checking out my photos!
from jfsuperstar :
thanks for your love and support. i'll be making a diary entry tomorrow after i go and see 'strangers with candy' at the theater. happy belated birfday! i'll make sure to let you know when i'm headed up to michigan so we can meet at water street coffee joint or something!
from givemeabreak :
Can I just say how much I love the womyn who leave me notes in here? It makes me infinitely happy!! Thank You!!
from jfsuperstar :
i agree with kungfu...sometimes you gotta dish it back. conversely so, i also believe that it's important to let the retarded be retarded, if you know what i mean. ever see 'revenge of the nerds'? that part when the nerds drop the rope. you can't play tug of war when there's no one to pull at the end of the rope. that's what those ladies want to do with you. play some good ol' fashioned tug o' war. don't buy into it. ps, i'd have freaked out about the snake too, btw.....
from paeggan :
Yeah, it's interesting how so many Blacks are racist and get away with it, but if we do or say anything that we'd say or do to anyone of any color, we're the racist ones! Karma will sort 'em out, ultimately, but we'll not always be around to see Lady Justice in action. Just know that She will do her bit! I've witnessed Her justice often :-) Paeggan OX
from kungfukitten :
A friend of mine (white chick) who had to go through the whole "bussing" thing in high school always told me you gotta dish it back as fast and as hard as it's given. It's a pride thing and the only way you'll all end up as friends - as crazy as that sounds.
from ursamajor :
Fuck the snakes. If God had meant 'em to live he would have made them soft and fuzzy... like a little bunny.
from ursamajor :
Viva la Birthday month!
from ursamajor :
I am SO happy to hear how well the new job is going! You know the state will assign you a free arbitrator that will work on your behalf in the unemployment case, right? Make sure you take advantage of it. Those UEA workers are such evil fucks!
from sherpahigh :
Thanks.... I'm starting to feel better... but I'm sure this mess of tests will make me go mad yet. I'm glad you're happy with your job... :o) xo.
from jfsuperstar :
hey i'm sending you some good juju your way...RIGHT NOW. hope all is going well with le new job, and your unemployment hearing is swift and justice is served. hey, BTW send me an email and i'll give you all the dirt on selling sex toys, if you're still interested.
from ursamajor :
Glad to hear the new job is going so well! Yeah for happy, shiny jobs! Looking forward to hearing about the unemployment judgement. Boo, hiss to unhappy, dull unemployment agency peeps.
from paeggan :
Now that's poetry, going to Bronson's HR to get your photo ID :-) Lady Justice provides smiles as well as ultimate karma. Goddess duly thanked for the upturn! Paeggan OX
from ursamajor :
Double Amen on the Blessed Be! Congrats!
from kungfukitten :
You're totally welcome to come to Portland and hang out with the crazy bewigged girls any time. Next time we're planning on trading wigs. I didn't really like mine, Jessie's 80's assymetric dark blue wig was the definite favorite, although Nerdygirl's highlights glowed in the dark.
from sherpahigh :
congrats! xox
from jfsuperstar :
hope coffee went well, and you're in better spirits. i take it the job hunt ain't going too well. don't laugh, but have you ever considered being a consultant for a sex toy company? i do it part time and make pretty easy money. there are some women who make it their full time job and really bring home the bacon, which is pretty cool for being a sex toy sales person. think about it and let me know if you are interested.
from jfsuperstar :
i did some backtracking and played catch-up with your diary. i hope things are getting better for you, and am sending you some job finding juju. do you have a degree? you worked at bronson, right? have you considered working as a health care professional at a drug treatment center, jail, or juvenile? i worked at gateway for 4 years, and it was decent...although i think it's called something else now. try barking up the kalamazoo/allegan/calhoun county tree. county jobs are awesomely secure, and have great benefits. btw, i've added you to my 'buddy list'. sorry it took so long.
from thirdeye7601 :
So sorry I neglected you!!! I've been so busy, and I neglected my own diary. How are you? I sure hope well!! Talk laters!!
from busybean :
Teri, I just saw a job posting that I think might fit you. Leave your email in my notes and I will email you the link. Doesn't hurt to send out yet another resume. I hope you are doing ok! -Liana
from ursamajor :
Been there - feel your pain. Keep your chin up. A better opportunity is just around the corner!
from sherpahigh :
thanks for all the notes. I will send you some photos as soon as I have a proper pc to do that with... and I think I may go bw... only Mexico was so colourful, it'd be a shame to not embrace that... I'm so torn lol. Good luck with the interviews, I'll be cheering for you. Love, A.
from ursamajor :
Hey, how 'bout jumping on that highway and heading towards Detroit?
from starlight42 :
Wow- looks like we got fired on the same day, or at least close to. The 7th. :(
from starlight42 :
That is great you found a place like that to help with the medications. I am so blessed that I have never needed monthly prescriptions, other than birthcontrol. I know so many people who put out quite a bit of $$ on that stuff. For me, I know the old country ran services was also quite wonderful. It's great there are still some good programs out there. As for unemployment, I am doing mine next week, but from what I read it's only supposed to take a month to get a check. Which, can still be long though, depending on your situation. But I didn't think it could take 2, guess it depends on how quick your company replies etc. Good luck with everything!
from jfsuperstar :
i noticed your entry via ursa's diary. sorry about your job woes as well. i am also from the 'zoo, but now live in southern indiana. i don't really know what that has to do with your job situation, but i wanted to offer my sympathies.
from ursamajor :
Teri, so sorry to hear about the job. I can commiserate. OOMA lost his recently as well. Seems to be the growing trend in Michigan.
from givemeabreak :
Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaase leave me some notes....anything....good, bad or indifferent.
from thirdeye7601 :
shitty. sorry you didn't get the job. so, I've been an awful Dland pal I know, I've been so busy lately. So how are things with you? Did you have a good holiday. Sure hope so! Take care, much love.
from highde81 :
hey hey hey!!!!! I was thinking about you and I am only three hours away from you and I just wish I could see you!!! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Hope you had a marry christmas. Love ya miss you a bunch!!
from starlight42 :
Happy Holidays!!
from sherpahigh :
Awww feel better. Few things are less fun than bronchial boog-a-loo. Thinking of you. xox
from sherpahigh :
Thank you. I needed that. I know you're right (at least about the feet) and my fiancee calls me a fool for thinking anything but what you say as well... but it's hard not to feel what you think is truth, isn't it? If that makes sense. I do appreciate you... thanks. xox.
from science-girl :
Good luck with your interview today!!! Let me know how it goes.
from sherpahigh :
Thanks... *haha* I hope not either. I feel fine though, less a little tiredness and the cough. It's not so bad. How's you?
from sherpahigh :
Thanks for the note... for your words. Thanks for adding me... Building a house is definitely stressful, but I somehow doubt it will by biggest ache in life. I hope you're well. xo.
from sherpahigh :
I found you through a note you left at suenosverde's comment page... so, I stopped to look and I love.
from paeggan :
Any time you do something different and set a trend all of your own, you are cool - the car thing was therefore cool ;-) Go trend-setters everywhere! :-)
from suenosverde :
awww thanks, but nope I am a spanish/ latin american studies major... although I am going to do grad work in photography and persue this as a late in the game (even though it isnt late at all for someone who is 21) carear move...
from suenosverde :
we used a jigsaw and cut them out of wood, it was an interesting endeavour, hence the odd shaped star or two... they were inspired by metal stars that I saw strung from a tree at some art exhibition in Dallas, then we spray painted them silver and added several coats of sparkle spray paint to the top, they catch light well, but aren't overbearing... we have a great big lone oak out front so its the perfect tree to hang them from :)
from ursamajor :
Congrats on passing Anatomy! Midgets tend to scare me, so please don't marry one. But if you marry Johnny Knoxville, can we do a husband swap every once in a while?
from suenosverde :
great journal! I love the poop philosophy! I am going to add you as a favourite :)
from suenosverde :
great journal! I love the poop philosophy! I am going to add you as a favourite :)
from nimiiwin :
Hey! My sister goes to KCC. She's graduating this year in Medical Technology. Small world, isn't it?
from randomblahs1 :
miss ya girly. hope all is well!!! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was BLAH! ~h~
from nimiiwin :
Hey! Another MI lesbian? From kalamazoo? Oh, girl. I'm your newest fan. I just moved to Mt. Pleasant after nearly 10 years in Kalamazoo.
from ursamajor :
Your life is a Maury show waiting to happen? You mean, you've slept with 25 men in two weeks and don't know who your BabyDaddy is? Woah. I am so jealous.
from ursamajor :
The DBT CD's are on their way as soon as I can get OOMA to sit down and burn me a few more copies. Soon - I promise! :)
from thundersnow :
Well, how funny is this? I have flat-out turned down invitations to Carrabas in memory of and yearning for LaFontanella's!
from science-girl :
Balancing chemical equations is one of the things I LOVE about chemistry. I am a freak of nature. Who is this new "acquaintance" that you speak of? I'm curious. :-)
from ursamajor :
Try the Drive By Truckers - it's Alternative Country. How can you go wrong? I can send you some CD's if you'd like.
from almost-sane :
Hey! Country music rocks! And so does Alt! I'm with you! (AND, just bought Jay-Z... you couldn't get more eclectic than we.)
from jacqueline21 :
No prob.! I enjoy reading your diary;) Keep up the good work.
from ursamajor :
Life isn't simple because boys are just so darn pretty. Useless, but pretty. How is Tracy taking all this?
from ursamajor :
Hey, hope everything is okay. I wait with baited breath for the days you update. Happy Valentine's Day a Day Late Day!
from almost-sane :
Ooooh, someone's on the brink of being a sexpot! LOL.
from paeggan :
C'mon, T, I read your pages all the time... in fact I read 'em before you've even written 'em 'cuz I anticipate them with glee :-) Paeggan OX P.S. You know what P. Watson Guise said, "Be Yourself" (poem)
from imsoemoxcore :
well, it started when my boyfriend of three years and i broke up. plus i have a severe alcohol problem...
from imsoemoxcore :
just looking for friends on this site, since im relatively new here. and i see youre from michigan, as am i.
from ursamajor :
Good to hear from you! Congratulations on the good grades and, oh, happy anniversary. ;)
from ursamajor :
I work in a predominately black organization and I am forever learning a new language. Normally we all laugh about it, but I had to put my foot down on the day that three different people asked me something about the "liberry" and screamed out loud, "It's liBRary, people! 'Brary!" Then I was promptly told to shut up. :-\
from ursamajor :
Woo-hoo! Good to hear from you again!
from moonstone21 :
Hey you! It was good to hear from ya! Congrats on aceing the algebra test. Math has never, ever been my stong suit. Good to see that things are going well. I'm going to try and update my diary as much as I can but we'll see. Miss ya right back!
from science-girl :
Good luck with school starting! :-)
from science-girl :
I'd LOVE to come to your party on the 19th, but that's the day my husband comes back from Kansas City after being there since Sunday. I also have to pack that night, and go to bed early since we have to wake up at like 4 AM to drive to Lansing to catch our flight to JOURNALCON!!! Let me know when you have another shin-dig, though. I'll try my best to make it. :-)
from starlight42 :
The new design is cute. Good luck with going back to school, I'm sure you'll do well!
from science-girl :
Just try to make sure that your arms are somewhat straight when you're using your crutches. I've heard that for some people, the pain that develops in their armpits is almost worse than the broken part of their body.
from westyrex :
Now I'm thinking, and don't mind me, that a photograph of your flesh still attached to the house sounds like a great close-up diaryland entry! I hope you heal quickly. As a guy who has lots of accidents, I'm sending magical healing karma through the sky. Or else Magical Healing Caramel. It's one or the other.
from busybean :
Oh my goodness, your knee injury sounds horrific. Rest up and I hope it gets better soon!!
from science-girl :
Indian Cuisine sounds good, but we should leave that until after my shoot on the 24th. :-) How about Panera on West Main? I'll e-mail you.
from starlight42 :
congrats on going back to school! ya, kids nowadays dress crazy. Sorry to hear about your fall, it hurts just visualizing it!
from heidiann :
Good god! I'm so glad you weren't injured worse than you were!
from science-girl :
I have a doctor's appt. at 8:40, then I plan on working out for a couple hours. Maybe around noontime or so? I'll give you a call tomorrow...
from science-girl :
I'd LOVE to come to your party on the 24, but we'll be in Cincinnati that weekend. We'll figure something out. :-)
from almost-sane :
Oh hey- That is FANTASTIC. Congratulations. Even though it's still a bit off, BEST OF LUCK. I think it's a great idea for you.
from ursamajor :
Yup, we were on our way to the Bermuda Triangle of the Mars Cheese Castle when we were pulled over. How can you help but run stop signs when there is horseradish cheese spread awaiting?! BTW, Congrats on the Nursing Thing!
from bluecharis :
Hey sweetie! Good news! I'm happy to hear you're taking such a brave step... if you ever need help with math, I'd be willing to search my brain to help you! (no math since high school, but back then, I was really, really good at it... and so modest...) Love, Charis :-))
from science-girl :
Congratulations on signing up for the nursing program! Just so you know, if you need any help doing IVs or blood draws, my husband is REALLY good at it. He even taught his phlebotomy course in college. He can help ya! :-) What are you doing on Saturday? Interested in meeting for lunch or coffee or something?
from ursamajor :
Well, considering that Bonnie and I haven't spoken pretty much since my wedding (long story), I doubt that the three of us will be able to get together - but I really, really want to do dinner, lunch, drinks, what have you, when you are out this way or I am out your way. Let's make it happen this summer!
from starlight42 :
I try to even stay away from the pet stores!! I just want to give them all homes. I also hate the abuse stories, I always cry when watching Animal Planet.
from science-girl :
I am so with you on the animal cruelty. I think whatever anyone does to an animal should be done to them. :-) I bet the number of animal cruelty cases would drop right off if that was made a law. Oh, and if you get Taz (a dog at the SPCA), I will hunt you down. She's MINE! *grin*
from ursamajor :
Well, now you MUST come to the east side of the state beside now I'm DYING for Indian food too.
from no1sgirl :
I was going to tell you how to link, but I see I was beaten to it. That was a great entry! I'm really rather unbearable when I'm hot, too. I LOVE the cold during the summer, I would probably live in an igloo if I could!
from toejam :
Ha! You missed me by a day...I was at Indian Cuisine last night. The soup was WAY salty, but my palak paneer was PERFECT and yummy and I was HAPPY.
from science-girl :
To link: (a href="http://whatever.com")whatever(/a)...replace the parentheses with carats. ( these things:<> ) Dear GOD...I've been craving Indian Cuisine like crazy lately, and those bastards keep showing commercials on all the channels I watch at night. Damn them!!! Enjoy your delicious dinner!
from science-girl :
I'd totally be up for doing lunch sometime! Let me know...
from science-girl :
What gave away where you live? Well, you talk about the stuff that's near your house quite a bit. And I work just around the corner from where you live. :-) "It's a small world, after all...It's a small world, after all..."
from science-girl :
Hooray! I've now officially read every one of your entries! I am now totally caught up on your life. :-) Whoo hoo! AND, I know where you live! (Please don't be scared. I'm not a psycho. Although I've just realized I use entirely too many exclamation points.) Take care!
from science-girl :
Thanks for leaving me a note! I can tell you that I'll be reading through all of your entries at some point, too! I hope you enjoy mine!
from starlight42 :
hey- Traci's dog sounds smart, even if he is annoying you at 2am ;) Ya, we've had enough rain here to last all year, thank god no flooding here!
from almost-sane :
Well, I know you know how I feel... Love the new layout. -A.S.
from no1sgirl :
If you mean "Dub-ya", then I agree with you!! I SO hope he doesn't win!
from evilbunny84 :
Just wanted to stop by and say hi. You talking about softball brings back some memories of my own.
from notyourbitch :
i can try to help with your archives, i know html and do all the coding on my journal. email me: evie_the_cat@hotmail
from no1sgirl :
Hi. Thank you for dropping by my diary and saying such nice things! :) I'll definatly be reading yours, too!
from paeggan :
Thanks for your wonderful humor - therapy for the soul! :-) Paeggan OX
from notyourbitch :
thank you thank you thank you, for always leaving me notes that make me feel better. i've been so stressed and busy lately but i think now that everything is finished i will finally be able to calm myself and realize that the whole world is NOT against me.
from busybean :
Hey there! Have fun heckling the little shrub today. I will email you about lunch possibilities, probably on a monday would be the best for both of our schedules.
from almost-sane :
Oh lord-- So Jamie and I (and 2 other friends) waited in line for this new club for 45 minutes until they told us they were at capacity and were not letting anymore people in. Exasperated, I just gave up and went home. We'd already spent 30 minutes arguing about where to go for dinner, an hour waiting to get into dinner, then eating, then the club-- anyway, I'll write and entry on it. What a weekend. SO tired...
from moonstone21 :
Hey!! I think you should go and greet Dubyah with a little sumthin sumthin. I wish I had a creative idea for you sign, but I'm not feeling very creative today. I like the "closed minds, closed mouths" one. Go get 'em, girl!
from starlight42 :
Hey- Do you have this code up for your archived entries: http://givemeabreak.diaryland.com/older.html ? That's what I use...Anyway, glad things are going good. I know what you mean about the yard work! Also, I'm dying to see Man on Fire, I just love Denzil.
from notyourbitch :
thanks for the note, i'm in a slump now i know. for now watching jack and karen be crazy on will & grace is the only thing making me happy.
from redhott27 :
you know, I locked up my diary a while ago and I don't remember who I gave a password to. The user name is hot and the pw is dog if I didn't get it to y'all. later!
from almost-sane :
Lost your archives!!!??? E-Mail Andrew! That's horseshit!
from almost-sane :
I like to new layout- just wanted to say hi.
from starlight42 :
I agree with Ursa. Also, if I was a lesbain, I'd hit on you! ;)
from ursamajor :
now teri, i'd bet the only reason the girlies aren't hitting on you is because you're already taken. seriously, how often do you find yourself noticeably slobbering on someone when you know their girlfriend? besides, fetching is more attitude than tit tight tanktops... just remember how many of those other lesbians in the three row proximity of you these evening are truly envious of you because of your awesome personality and your devoted partner! and then giggle like the dickens all night long because you SO rock and they don't. :)
from notyourbitch :
oh, sorry i forgot to add that Sandra Cisneros is a Chicana writer, she's well-known for her amazing book called "The House on Mango Street" plus she has written some kickass poetry. But what I was referring to in my latest entry was a short story she wrote called "Eleven" which was published in a collection of short stories called "Woman Hollering Creek." You really should check out some of her work, she is amazing.
from notyourbitch :
ugh, i have been trying off and on all day to leave you a message in your guestbook but my computer is mad at me. anyways, i wanted to THANK you for always leaving encouraging words in my book (of course i would never get tired of them, silly!). also, don't worry about how you think you'll look at the concert (yea, i know, easier said than done) just remember that you have some kickass seats and rock out and HAVE A BLAST!
from starlight42 :
sorry to hear you're sick again!! Hope you're new job is going well and that you are feeling better soon.
from girle :
Not much use in bashing the guy...the vote will show the future. :)
from starlight42 :
I can't believe him either. When I read some of his comments last week I had to write an entry about it as well. It's just disgusting. What is the big deal! God, this country is screwed up that we are against people that love each other making a commitment.
from notyourbitch :
I commend you for your latest entry regarding Bush's anti-gay agenda... the first step is educating people. I have to hear my best friend everyday talk about all the basic human rights he is denied because of who he loves... it breaks my heart
from redhott27 :
Did you see the Daily Show lastnight? Jon Stewart proposed that if gay marriage is such a threat to the "sanctity of the institution," maybe there should also be constitutional amendments banning adultery, which is the real threat to a heterosexual couples' marraige. Of course being the Daily Show it was a freakin hilarious segment, but how much more right could one person be? Dubya is a freakin idiot, and if he gets reelected again I'm moving to Canada.
from starlight42 :
cool!! have fun!
from starlight42 :
I like this new layout! When I was searching, this is one I was considering. Yeah...some people have no consideration, it's just too bad that you end up picking up after them!
from starlight42 :
girl...I share your frustration in trying to find the right diary design...I don't know what it looks like yet either! Also- prescriptions are so outrageously priced it's sad. I know, why is viagra considered important, but birth control not?!
from starlight42 :
I like the new layout- I liked the other one too though. I see someone mentioned they had a hard time reading- I never did. It might just depend on the screen. I've gotten comments like that with some of my designs & they always looked ok to me. Anyway- you're lucky you didn't get the 9 inches we got here...
from bluecharis :
Hi there! Boy, am I glad, that you've switched your layout back to something a bit more readable... I was forever squinting my eyes trying to read your entries from the tomato layout (that did look lovely, though...:-)) And about your current entry: We have cold weather, too, and I've been wearing a heat since October! ;-)) All the best, love, Charis :-)
from starlight42 :
Thanks for the note you left. I appreciate it :) Hope you have a great holiday and that you are rid of the parasite soon!
from moonstone21 :
Grr...my computer won't let me sign your book...Bitches! Anyway, holy christ, girlfriend....I'm sorry to hear about the WORM! But you know what they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger or something like that. And you're a tough chick. My hero! Take care and I hope you feel better soon!
from starlight42 :
oh no! a parasite! I feel so bad for you. I have read you can get them from water. Also, as my cat had a parasite, I was so worried I could get it. I didn't, but you have cats don't you? Could one of them have given it to you? Long shot, anyway, hope you're feeling better soon.
from starlight42 :
hey, hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
from starlight42 :
I love the new Sarah cd too! Ohhh, Cyndi Lauper? Her last release was a 5 song cd, I saw her at Borders in Birmingham performing a few songs & then got the cd, it was good, but I was so disappointed, I thought it was a full length cd. Oh well.
from moonstone21 :
I second that person who said you restored her faith in humankind. You are too cool! Sorry to hear about your "health" problem, heh! I'd be scared shitless....um, no pun intended. Anywho, hope everything comes out okay! Thanks for saying what you did about my little situation. I agree with you 100% and I'm not beating myself over it anymore and it's actually quite refreshing to know who my real friends are and that they support my no matter what. Yes, I agree I should live closer. We'd get along splendidly!

Hey girl! Glad the new job is going well. Wow, it sounds interesting. So much important stuff you are learning...

Hope you feel better soon! I guess you guys didn't lose power? Lucky Ducks.

D'oh, that's Toys in Babeland. yes, i'm a little dyslexic, yup!
from starlight42 :
I talk to Calvin like he'll answer me, that's not normal? LOL That was a pretty cool 25 list. The married thing piqued my interest. Have you ever written an entry about it?
from busybean :
Hey, I've been reading your diary for a little while and I just realized that you are from K-zoo. So am I! Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. And if you ever need any help around centre street let me know, my parents live out that way! ha ha.
from starlight42 :
I love that entry! Sounds like my luck. I've got it as my fav. entry today. Go Ms. Jones!
from catspajamas :
Hey! :) got your note, thanx! Its easy to sound clever when talking to Heidi. Um, I really meant that as a compliment.... anyway, like your jornal and especially your layout! i must find out where shes got all these sexysexy photos! Great "she's a lady story!" personally, i would have chosen "its not unusual" because i cant resist a tim burton referece.
from starlight42 :
I know it's hard to feel good about the way you look when you're just not happy with it. But hey, short of giving up all the "good food", it's pretty hard to loose the weight! I've tried exercising, it doesn't work much for me. Anyway, finding a good clothing store is key. That way, you find stuff that looks good on you and then you start to feel better about yourself. Even if you have some extra pounds. I like Target and Mervyns myself. :)

that's cool about the cracker barrel. sometimes things like that can just turn your day around. I love being in a good mood!

Hey there... I don't have a guestbook or notes section in my journal. I guess I need one! Thanks so much for the fond wishes. That's so incredibly nice of you. All the best... -AJ

Re: 5.1.03 entry on Josh Gracin-- AGREED. I was appauled last year when Nikkin got to stay around so long. I was appauled when Kimberly got sent home before Carmen (who clearly sucked- and although Kimberly's singing is not fabulous, she was so cute). And the other thing-- Simon may be harsh but he has never said anything wrong. Clay is my favorite but everything about him scream Broadway. And Josh Gracin should have auditioned for Nashville Star.

great entry. I know, I'm glad Dave will be mowing. As soon as the fertilizer kicks in...hehe. You should see his grandma's yard, it is COVERED with anything you can imagine. They counted once and she had like 30 pots in her back yard. All sorts of ceramic things...they were trying to grab stuff & throw it out! It's the Michigan air, it's not right!
from starlight42 :
I did watch Mr Personality. It was pretty good so far, I liked it when the one guy freaked out & was yelling at the girl when he got voted out. ha ha!! But ya, the masks are freaky. They showed the audience their faces at the end, there's only a couple of ugly guys, most are average and a couple really cute guys, in my opinion.
from starlight42 :
Teri- oh how old people and cars do NOT mix!! People must hate us on DL for bringing up these important topics no one wants to address...LOL
from starlight42 :
I've got your retirement plans entry as my recommended entry of the day. It rocks!! I had to laugh at it when I was at Rally's Saturday and the line was going so damn slow..
from starlight42 :
I love that entry. I know exactly what you are talking about. I've never worked in fast food either, I would probably suck. But I at least hope I could read a receipt or a screen. Ugh! That was so funny. It sums up what happens at drive thru's around the country everyday!! Have a good weekend.
from starlight42 :
Stupid MI weather! We still have snow on the ground! At least it's sunny today & yesterday, so it's melting- slowly...other than that, things are good. Busy at work. fun, fun!
from jelibeary :
lol I love the comment that you made about saddam in france lol :) Thanks for my morning smile lol
from starlight42 :
What a dumb email! i hate those things
from jelibeary :
Hello I love the design I ran into your diary through one of my favorite diaries it must of been starlight because I see she has left notes I was wondering if I could add you to my favorites. I love your attitute and personality and would like to get to know you better. lol :)
from starlight42 :
I love the new design!! It looks so good. You know, I watched the Oscars and I didn't listen to that guys speach, I think I had it muted (I was reading & watching tv at the same time). wow, that's crazy. people are still pissed at the dixie chicks! you have to be careful what you say as a "celebrity". I don't think the oscars is the place for it, except to say, god bless those over seas. Oh, i liked the bumper sticker email by the way!
from starlight42 :
Where are you?? I've been so busy all week and I come by and it's the same old entry! Hope the snow hasn't gotten ya down!
from starlight42 :
My sister went to school at Western, so I know Kzoo gets HIT when it snows...I can't wait to go to Ohio, just hope the weather isn't crappy (for the long drive)
from venusalludes :
Just so you know the end of the story. She's decided that the past is the past and she's ready to move on with her life with her boyfriend. The only room for me is as just her friend. I've told her that I'm taking a break from the "friend" thing and will get back to her when I don't adore her so much anymore. Sigh
from kigarro :
Hello..just wanted to say that I've enjoyed reading your diary! I think I'm jealous of all the fun you seem to have..lol..keep writing!
from missmuffit :
I will be sure to pass a note along to Tommy regarding the citation.
from missmuffit :
P.F.O. that's been used before, bitch. try something new.
from forallweknow :
Yes! YES! Death to all who are responsible for a light-up USA nativity scene on their front lawn! We will not distinguish between the nativity scenes themselves and those who harbor them! Mwuahahahaaha!

I think you should unite all the disgruntled 'mericans against the dreaded Overly Flagged-Out Patriotic Eyesore Trucks on the freeway! This evil needs to be STOPPED!
