Up until last August, I don't think we could have convinced MG to cut ties with The Fury. Now, even if she *wanted* a restraining order, she can't afford the costs of getting one. Luckily, ever since she attacked my mother, that evil "thing" has made itself scarce and I'm pretty sure she'll stay away as long as Mom's around to protect MG. TF is a typical bully; she'll never take on someone who's an equal or greater match. She only became abusive towards MG after the stroke, once she became helpless and unable to escape TF's wrath. -cat

Hehe, well I can put your number in my cell phone addy "book," but I'll have to call from the home landline. Cell's restricted to absolute necessity/emergency calls only. At least with the home line we get free long distance within the US and Canada...I don't think that's part of the plan on the cells.

Darlin', I don't feel very brave. I don't think I was very brave, I was just damn lucky. I still can't believe it, you know. I guess I'm kinda naieve but I didn't think such things could happen in my world ... but they do, they happen everywhere. Sigh. I think I need to concentrate on getting myself back together. Yes but you have a loving husband ;) I did it with weird angles and delayed clicking ... still very weird shots of, like, an erotically posed knee and things =P It's a weird experience, actually, to see your own body, in its entirety, as someone else must see it. And I went for coy and pretty and mischevious rather, than, you know Playboy ... so I'm not entirely unimpressed with myself =P You know, that was such a strange incident with the boys - I wonder what possessed the puncher to throw the punch, especially because you said the children are usually not, well, mean. Hmm..I think you did the right thing though. Sorry, this is turning into an endless note but I don't think you should worry about your choices and decisions ... after all, I don't know much about God and such, but I think virtue lies in the struggle to do better, rather than the achievement of perfection. And it's not hypocritical to impose moral restrictions on children - after all, when they reach adulthood they're free to live as they choose. Isn't that kind of the point? *climbs down from soapbox*
