from giantkiller :
Hi there! I am a Republican with a site at http://smartngoodlookin.sirblogalot.com that I'd like you to check out, please! Have a great day. -Miss Priss
from slade :
Where did you go? =(
from nmnohr :
Ok, I was completely terrified when I read the title of your latest entry, and then I read further, and remembered your other diary. Thank god you will still be around. I've been MIA the past week or so, and am just getting caught up...........good luck with your surgery. I'll say a prayer for you. I know you'll be just fine. And believe me, I know exactly what you mean about feeling as if there is NO TIME to get everything done. Us women need to be superheroes.
from just2cusmile :
you are so right about some of the parents at high school games~they can be so awful and rude and so tough on thier kids! i hate it when people dont realize its a game-yes everybody wants to win but you have to be a good loser also!! usually the kids that play dirty are the ones who parents are the loud mouths!! i think my son will be a good coach!! :) i also wanted to wish your friend/family memeber the best of luck in bootcamp-what a brave sole. my oldest sons friend who is just 19 finished up his bootcamp in Feb.~he is in the reserves(not sure what branch,i think the army)and he cant wait to get there and fight for his country and help the other people out-i think he is getting his orders later this year,i cant remember where too but GOD BLESS THEM ALL~thier still "young" man/women doing what seems like a mans/womans job and are doing it well!!
from amyjo :
happy birthday! it's my birthday toooooo! (:
from hopeanew :
you didn't get my email? i sent you an email in reply to your cd email. i would love those diapers, but let me pay you for them or at least the shipping. i don't want you to miss out on ebay money making if you can do that! <3
from hopeanew :
You JM from WY? I just wondered, because I just got something in the mail and wanting to scream from my total excited suprise! Are you the one I should be screaming and screeching at and knocking over with hugs? I can't believe it! *big huge hugs like you won't believe*
from weepeople :
Looks like you were reading my journals as I was writing in the Wee People! I know what you mean bout the weight loss with little ones. Oy! We're gonna need all the energy we can get. Also, I know what you mean about being attatched to your doctor. Those are the best kind of doctors that you can have. Ones that love and care for thier patients and allow themselves to be emotionally acessable. Oregon is a beautiful state (I used to live there). I hope that you do find another doc you can at least be comfortable with. It is ashame your doc feels he has to go. *hugs*
from pashiesplace :
I'm sorry I haven't commented much lately. I think things but don't seem to type them. Yes, my head has been way too far up my butt. I am here though & I'll say more, LOL Hugs
from pashiesplace :
http://www.timesleader.com/mld/weekender/entertainment/8479565.htm ~ A link to my latest ramble, on a topic you might appreciate. I had when doctor's leave, especially peds. It's just devestating. Big hugs.
from moodymama :
what? you have two kids now? i've missed a lot. :o)~
from nmnohr :
Your entry yesterday broke my heart. I hope you enjoyed your day with your girls, and I hope that your first day back to work is smooth sailing, and very speedy so you can get back home to them!
from junipersday :
hazelnut and caramel latte?? droooooooooooling. oh how lovely! Thanks for sharing the pics of your gorgeous little girl! I'm dropping in from flyinby's page.
from jane-does :
Thanks Judy! Better late than never. ;) One can hardly expect you to keep up with diaryland pal's birthday's in the midst of all your excitement. It warms my heart to read about you and your beautiful little girls. Hope you continue to be blessed. I hope to post an entry soon, but 18 hours of school, work, baby, and social life keep getting in the way. ;) But, I do a daily check with you and Tania (pashiesplace). I really care about keeping up with you two. Take care.
from allaboutamom :
Geez, I am sorry for all the spelling errors and mess ups. I am a little nervous as I have never signed someones diary before. I do hope you can understand what I was trying to say. Bye now.
from allaboutamom :
I am new to this journaling stuff online but I came across your diary while browing and I hope that it's possible for you to SAH. I have a little girl who will be 2 in June and just found out I am pregnant again. I decided to stay home are Kortlyn was born and I don't regret my decision for one minute. Anyways I hope I am not intruding I just wanted to say hello and congarts on your new edition. Jackie
from pashiesplace :
Nothing is more work than mothering 2 babies! It's a 24/7 always on call job. Glad you are coping so well. I hope it stays as smooth as possible.
from xnavygrrl :
She is ADORABLE! Congratulations, Mom!
from nmnohr :
Happy Birthday Madeline!!
from cleanstart :
Congrat's on your new addition. I hope that you and the baby are doing well! HUGS~
from pashiesplace :
So much pure love comes thru in your entry. Katherine is one lucky little lady. I so understand what you went thru waiting for the epi.I am not a wimp but the contractions with B were unbearable, worse than anything I've ever felt. They were about to pull her (hello epi)then decided I needed more blood- it took 2 hours to run a bag! Those 2 hours were like 6 eternities long. I felt I was hanging on for dear life!
from nmnohr :
I was sooooooo excited to see your name in red on my buddylist. I'm so happy for you and your family. Katherine is so lucky to have you for a mommy! I can't wait to hear how it went, but mostly I'm just happy for you that it's all over and you can enjoy your little peanut. I bet Madeline is so excited too! Get some rest.........whenever possible!
from aimeesnoise :
Many good wishes and happy healthy baby thoughts your way! Congrats!!!
from nmnohr :
Are you sure you don't want to wait until Saturday? That's my bday :o) Hahahaha, just kidding. I'm so anxious and happy for you and your family. Best of luck tonight. You will do amazingly, and by tomorrow you will have your precious little sweetheart in your arms. I'll be thinking of you!
from xnavygrrl :
My daughter's birthday is tomorrow. She was born at 12:03 a.m., on the 3rd day of the 3rd month, 3 years before the millenium. It is indeed a cool birthday. Best of luck!! :)
from nmnohr :
Well fortunately no one was ever pregnant forever.....although I'm sure it feels like you will be. I'll keep hoping that it happens soon soon soon. I can't wait to hear all about it!
from nmnohr :
Here's hoping that that little bundle of cuteness comes this weekend!
from just-a-nut :
wow! it's been 9mths since that dream of yours!? it doesn' seem that long! Hope baby comes soon and it's a nice quick, easy labor! :D
from nmnohr :
It's impossible not to have your hopes up. It's human nature. Part of you is always going to be hoping it'll happen today, tomorrow, etc. I'll say another prayer that it happens sooner than later, and it's quick and smooth!
from pashiesplace :
I'm not even going to say all the standard you'll-have-the-baby-soon crap because I know it does not help one bit. So I'll send you bunches of hugs instead.
from nmnohr :
Sending baby wishes your way. Yay for the new minivan! I have the Dodge Grand Caravan also, and love it. It's just so much nicer and you'll have tons more room. I had a hard time getting used to telling people that I drove a minivan.....I just never thought I would, but I'm glad I do. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa. My thoughts are with you and your family.
from pashiesplace :
(((((Hugs)))))
from jamsjunction :
((BIG HUGS)) my sympathies
from pashiesplace :
You'll love #2 just as much, just differently. You'll quickly learn to love it for who it is & for its own little personality. It'll be different then Madeline but the same love will suddenly just be there. BTW, my gut has screamed GIRL for you so I have a TON of newish old navy stuff boxed and ready for you if indeed it is one. Lots of itty bitty ginghams and stuff if you'd like them.
from harakiri :
You're getting so close!! :)
from flyinby :
You in labor yet? *crossing fingers for ya!*
from mr-knowitall :
Thanks JB!
from nmnohr :
I can't believe it's almost time for your baby to arrive! It has gone by so fast (maybe not so fast for you though!) I'm so excited, and I have no doubt that things will go smoothly and quickly.
from pashiesplace :
Oh how well I remember the physical war between my pregnant body and one difficult toddler! ((((Hugs)))) because you sure need them.
from flyinby :
The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with Robbie. Robbie was going to be Christopher, but Grandpa died (sucumbing to cancer complications) and so we named our son after him. My Grandmother cried when we told her, she thanked us too. It meant more to her than I imagined it would. I think it helped everyone, actually, but I'm not telling you to do it, I'm just saying that is how Robbie because Robbie instead of Christopher, which his little brother will now be named.
from drewbears :
ha ha ha. I used to have a guine pig. However you spell that, I am too tired right now. And they didn't stink more than cats! We finally got out of having cats and now have 2 little dogs, MUCH BETTER. :o)
from pashiesplace :
It COULD be sciatica. That does move around a bit from person to person. But, since the pain disappears, I'm thinking early back labor. Not sure if you had that with Madeline or not. If not, the pain will eventually start radiating into your butt, BADLY. A friend described it to me as having a telephone pole rammed up your butt & after 3 back labors that description is still the best I've found! Either way, hugs cause it hurts!
from pashiesplace :
oh wow. 36 weeks. Where has it gone?? You'll know if she is a Mary Clare. That is if she is even a she, LOL
from mr-knowitall :
I still hate cold weather!
from harakiri :
1/15- I took your advice and bought some juice from the vending machine at school last night and while I was drinking it in class the baby's movements picked up. The movements were still pretty soft but he moved on and off for the entire 2 hours :)
from harakiri :
1/14 You haven't updated in a few days, just wanted to make sure everything was okay with you, your family and your little one?
from pashiesplace :
Hoping you're ok. Also hoping you have heat! (((Hugs)))
from nmnohr :
1/6 Why oh why do we punish ourselves and live in these cold climates? It's freezing here too. I feel for you, and I'll pray your heater holds out!
from pashiesplace :
Thank you. I don't think that there is much more that I can say. Those 2 words alone can carry an awesome amount of weight so...thank you.
from nmnohr :
I think I told you this before, not sure - but Josephine is one of my favorite names. It would have been Mason's first or middle name if he would have been a girl. It was my grandma's middle name. (Her first name was Gertrude so you can see why I chose her middle name!)

from flyinby :
God bless you and yours this Christmas! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take good care of yourself! ~Jody 12/25/03
from xnavygrrl :
Gosh, I'm so sorry about your Grandpa. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
from pashiesplace :
((((Hugs))))
from pashiesplace :
It sounds maybe like Night Terrors? Maya went thru a really rough phase of them a bit before age 2. The inconsolable screaming reminds me of it. Is she looking at you while doing it? If so thats another sign of them. W/ Maya it was so hard to wake her up. If it is that, they have NO idea what is scaring them. It's a common phase toddlers go thru. About the bunny. I had one that was litter box trained. They are pretty easy to train actually. Good luck! I can't believe you are 10 weeks away from the wee ones arrival! (((Hugs)))
from elenastar :
10 weeks? Yea for you! Hugs, Ell
from skaistarr :
i applied to yer ring big feet. i just want u 2 kno i really wanna be apart of it. i wear a asize 11.5-12.
from pashiesplace :
OMG@the pants! When I was 7 months pregnant with EMMY (not even B)I went to a Motherhood store and needed 3X maternity jeans! I'm normally like a size 6 when not preggo! Bet the black/charcoal combo is really nice!
from pashiesplace :
Oh the joys of preggo dreams! Mine were VERY realistic. If yours are like mine were then you must be having a hard time shaking it. Almost feeling like it did happen! (((Hugs)))
from elenastar :
Hey, you get better soon! Ell PS: if you've been trying to read my diary, I'm sorry for all the spanish
from pashiesplace :
Oh the leg cramps! I forgot about them. I used to wake with my whole leg in a spasm. I'd wake shrieking & it would actually WAKE JOHN UP! Now thats bad, waking a snoring man! Try elevating it more and there is something supposedly connected to leg cramps. A food I think. Try searching babycenter for more on them! Wooohooo on the bedroom stuff too :D
from flyinby :
empty bladder is more effective than kegals. :) (more trips to the potty!) i've discovered that there comes a point that kegals no longer help at all for that, but help after they get here for sure. ;)
from pashiesplace :
LOVE the hair! Glad your glucose test came back good too :)
from nmnohr :
12/3 CUTEST.HAIR.EVER! Enough said. I love it.
from pashiesplace :
Please email me your new snail mail addy so that I can send you an xmas card :)
from pashiesplace :
Same ISP here too. I've been wondering who it is as well.
from jamsjunction :
Same ISP went through a ton of my entires as well. I have no idea who it is either. If you find out let me know! Glad Thanksgiving went so well. Have a great weekend!
from xnavygrrl :
I have to get that CD. Thanks for telling us about it. :)
from pashiesplace :
Oh the vivid dreams. I'll never miss those! So real, so physical. Like body memories yet not real.I was one of those pregnant women that wanted not nearly to be so huge. My stomach was a table when I sat & a shelf when I walked.
from pashiesplace :
I love Sophie. Love it. Katherine is Maya's middle name. I also still love Mary Clare.
from pashiesplace :
(((Judy))) I'm so sorry things are so crappy. I swear, money stress is the absolute worst. Nothing wrecks havoic on a couple more swiftly then needing to discuss the checkbook.Let me ask John about your loan & what he would suggest doing. 4.5 years IS a LONG time to be stuck with that. He will probably have a few good suggestions on how to get out of it. More hugs.
from fieldfamily :
Hi Judy! I noticed that you were the one that did the design for moms.diaryland.com and I was wondering if you were the one in charge of the site, or if you know who is? Thanks!
from nmnohr :
11/14 I've been a bad bad buddy and haven't left you nearly enough notes lately. SO sorry. I really wanted to thank you for the nice notes you always leave. "Stupid TV" that's classic!
from nmnohr :
11/11 Damn, that daughter of yours is SOOOO smart! A Packer fan already? I'll have to send her a cheesehead!
from nmnohr :
Do we need an excuse to be annoyed with our husbands? Nope....don't think so. I'm so sorry that you are having car issues again. Damn cars. Damn husbands. Damn them all! I hope you atleast enjoy your banquet :o)
from xnavygrrl :
I love the costume. Too cute!
from rosarybeads :
10/31: I like your phrase of the day. Greg and I have been saying that a lot the past 48 hours. ((hugs)) Thanks for your message. I'm going to use rosarybeads as a way of keeping in touch with people (ie, noting people) until my new local is all geeked out. :) xoxo
from pashiesplace :
Ok the whole Sephora fear just gave me a much needed laugh. Thank you! (((Hugs)))
from rosarybeads :
10/29: Katie is going as a witch and Anna is going to be a giraffe. We went out for makeup neccessities tonight and apparently Katie is going to be one glittery witch. LOL And omg-snow!? I've had enough snow to last me the rest of my life, but... yeah... I know.. it's coming. :( Bah! xoxo
from ontheoutside :
Fo 'izzle. :D Thanks for the bday wishes and agreeing about that asshole who left me that message--->got to me from their buddies page I think, which makes me wonder who it is...Hrmm...Anywhoodles, I'm off to RCIA now! God bless hope you're feeling better soon!
from jadedlife :
*Former cheerleading Nationlist* Looking at that little smile and face.. Looks like a natural!! Get ready Mama! hehe
from cleanstart :
Thanks for adding me to your buddies. :O)
from jadedlife :
Laughing at me? or with me? LOL No really its funny now but at the time I was pissed. Im like DUDE grow up. This is called L-I-F-E and you dont neccessary LOVE your job and make kick ass money and drive a sports car. No matter what TV try to make you think it should be like.. ITS NOT LOL
from elenastar :
My mom described the pictures to me and they're soooooo cuuute! Ell
from rosarybeads :
10/24: LOL Katie's phrases are, "Don't gimme that crap!" and "WhatEVER, Mom". I have no idea where she gets that attitude from.... :) xoxo
from pashiesplace :
Oh my. Mary Janes. I LOVE them! That is what all of my kids wear. In black, brown, velvet, with pooh or bluesy on them...Glad things are going well & Madeline is just too sweet. Love the pic of her nestled in your arms.
from elenastar :
Hi Judy. Just was surfin' around and dropped by. Well actually I was consolidating my favorites list, don't worry you're still on it. Take care, hope the family's fine. Ell
from xnavygrrl :
You're in my thoughts, sweetpea.
from rosarybeads :
LOL You SO sound like me when I was pregnant with Katie. I had the WORST gallbladder pain. I'm so glad they took the darn thing out. When we first moved to RI, my insurance from CA was stopped so I didn't have health insurance during the overlap for like, 3 months. OMG. I had medical bills - for just ME - that totalled well over 5k from two ER visits and my endocrinologist/oncologist. It sure made me appreciate medical insurance! xoxo
from pashiesplace :
Oh. I'm so sorry. You need major hugs. Pregnancy complications are so hard. Does the pain remind you (when its milder) of labor or early labor? My bladder infections resemble the pregnant, pressure on the bladder type thing too. Do you know what your hemmoglobin level is?13 and up is normal. They start worrying around 9 because if you drop into a 6-7 range most docs transfuse. Also mid-late pregnancy is when most womens iron levels do drop. If you can handle it, OJ helps. If they put you on iron try taking it with OJ because it doubles the effectiveness. I was severely anemic w/all 3 kids & needed transfusions with Em & B. If you need more advice on keeping your levels up let me know.
from rosarybeads :
LOL! Most non-shoppers don't get the "I saved" argument. Lucky for me, Greg is just as much of a shopaholic as I am. We don't shop *all* the time, but when we do... omg... do not get us near the outlet mall! xoxo
from nmnohr :
10/21 No fair.......I want a Old Navy/Gap/Bannana Republic Clearance store. Wait.....maybe I don't, that could be dangerous. Aaric never understands the "how much we saved" part either. They just don't think like us!
from rosarybeads :
LMAO! You & Greg should get together & talk babycenter; I thought it was hilarious when I walked into the pc room and a screen saying: "Welcome Gregory! You are now 32 weeks. At this time you should be feeling..."! I was like, "Hey - who's the pregnant one here?" xoox
from rosarybeads :
10/16: Ohhhh Judy, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I had gallbladder pain that would knock me out when I was pregnant with Katie. It turned out I had gallstones! At 20! (actually, it's becoming more common in younger people to have them due to bad eating habits and the like) Six weeks after I had given birth to Katie, I had my gallbladder removed. Lemme tell ya, it was horrible. The best advice I have for you is to drink TONS of water! While you're eating, take a drink of water in between bites. It helps so much. That, and vicodin is your friend. Say it with me. :) xoxo
from pashiesplace :
((((Hugs)))) As if being pregnant isn't tough enough on your body. I really hope this was the last flare up you'll have to endure.
from flyinby :
Yuck! I have gallbladder issues, too, but I'm too chicken to get them checked out. I have huge high pain tolerance (it turns out i'm not such a wimp after all!) apparently. I've not been hospitalized just yet. Avoid those greasy foods, fatty foods, and oily stuff. Oh, and stick with bland and that's even better for some reason. The worst are the B.K. Onion Rings, which I love, but they make me so super sick! I hate going to the docs, though!
from tearstream :
Oww oww oww. I know just what that pain is like from the gallbladder. Mine flared up when Reuben was just 5 weeks old, and I remember it being THE worst pain ever. And I'd just given birth. i guess I was lucky not to be pg so they could just take the darn thing out. I hope it doesn't give you too much grief so you can have that little one first!
from rosarybeads :
10/14: ALLLRIGHT! I prayed really hard for that new engine (for you)! :)
from tornchild :
yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! congrats on the engine..what a great surprise!
from pashiesplace :
I need your NEW snail mail addy. I still have those books & a few other goodies for you. Email me :)
from tornchild :
free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...free engine...
from rosarybeads :
10/13: OH! I hope that you get the new engine! xoxo
from flyinby :
I don't know if I have any news or not, or if it's just... I dunno. We'll know in a few weeks. All I do know is that I am extremely fertile, as in EXTREMELY fertile, I get pregnant easily. And one slip up (no protection) on one of my most fertile days is pretty much a guarentee. SO I will be getting a PT pretty soon, if you know what I mean, then we'll know.
from flyinby :
I grew up, and still am, a CUBS fan! GOOOOO CUBBIES! *cheer*
from rosarybeads :
10/07 #2: Oh, and one of our songs is "Bring Me To Life" (Evanessence) - love that band! xoxo
from rosarybeads :
10/07: Whoa mama! You have so much on your plate right now - crying is exactly what I'd be doing. And cursing. And hitting something (like a pillow or wall). ((BIG HUGS)) I wish there was something I could do for you! About the childcare situation: we went through the exact same thing when the girls and I moved out to RI. We moved to MA to be closer to HU, and the girls had to stay with Matka ALL WEEK LONG so that we weren't commuting to CT just for childcare (there were no open spots at ANY suitable daycare/preschools in MA. None.). It sucked only having them on the weekends, especially since the girls and I had NEVER been seperated like that before. I started thinking about going back to CA - seriously. I didn't want to be away from my girls. But then Greg didn't want to be away from them either (and I was resenting him for all of the above). Those were some of the hardest weeks of our lives. Once we get our hospital assignments, we're going to be working opposite shifts so that no one is going to daycare or Matka's for the week. It's going to suck, but it's just what we have to do for now. Everything will work itself out. I'll be praying for you guys. xoxo
from pashiesplace :
LOL.I think everyone can relate to that one!
from pashiesplace :
Go to evanescence.com and click on the music page. listen to the sample of both Hello and My Immortal. You'll be running to buy it, trust me! Tell me what you think. How are you feeling today?
from pashiesplace :
(((((Judy))))) You have so much going on. Too much for anyone to handle, I believe. It sounds like you are doing the best you can considering most of it is not within your control. Being in different places on an important issue is so very hard. We keep hitting the same brick wall here lately as well. Who should work- when, how, etc. We seem to end up disagreeing a lot and I think it's even harder because on most big issues we are very in sync. All I can do is send you hugs. How is the name game going?
from pashiesplace :
You're right. It will all work out because somehow, things always do. Cingrats on the house! I'm so excited for you!
from rosarybeads :
10/02 #2: I bought an Explorer back in '99, and gave it to my parents when I left CA. The only thing that ever went wrong with it was the catalytic converter. I kept having to replace the damn thing, like, every year! Oh, and the tires. Bad tires. LOL xoxo
from rosarybeads :
10/02: Breathe, mama. It'll all be okay. When I get upset/stressed/worried/whatever, I do a rosary. Mother Theresa always told her sisters that the rhythmic motion of the beads combined with the steady rhythms of prayer calmed her and made her more focused. I've gone through two rosaries in the past year; one I wore the beads down, and the other I lost in Boston. Go to mass and ask your priest for a blessing before you leave. It's amazing what little things like this can do for your mood and your life. :) xoxo
from tornchild :
that is just horrible! I'm so glad that your dad/boss stuck up for you! Take a nice hot bath tonite--cuz ya know..that's the cure-all for everyting right? (so sarcastic there lol)
from nmnohr :
9/26 I'm so sorry that your closing date got switched. I know how frustrating that is, especially when you have a pessimistic husband to deal with too! Just hang in there, enjoy getting moved in and settled, and rest assured that it will all be officially yours in just a few days :o) Oh, and then go raise some hell for them making you go through this emotional rollercoaster!
from pashiesplace :
((((Big Hugs))))
from rosarybeads :
09/25: Oh, Judy, I SO know how you feel. My best friend (Tiffeny) knows how you feel, too. She's actually had more stress with her house - even though they finally closed on it (yay!) just recently. We had a lot of stressors because of location, but compromised on a buying solution that fit both our needs and wants (even though we're still living in feckin' Rhode Island - yawwwwn). OMG a 30 year mortgage?! I'd be stressed too. ((hugs)) xoxo

Oh she is gorgeous!!!! It sounds like your perfect shade is probably mine too!
from ontheoutside :
Hey thanks for the email...it answered some questions but not quite others. I will explain when I can articulate it better, and email you back. :)
from jadedlife :
YAHHHH to new houses your way too and cute pic's of Maddy. :) So adorable! Hows that tummy growing? DO you have a pregnacy diary too? and do you have any pic of the house yall are getting or a entry that references them? Im full of questions today eh.
from pashiesplace :
My OB always says we gain or lose what we need to in order to carry the baby. If you are taking care of yourself and the baby seems fine then do not worry too much. Besides you may gain it later, LOL.
from rosarybeads :
09/23: Yeah.... I'm stuck in the middle of that right now. The whole seeking closure thing. It's difficult when people like to attack your new life like you don't have a right to it, or a right to finally breathe and be genuinely happy. My husband is one of those people, and I get so incredibly angry about it, because if anyone, Greg deserves a second chance at a good life. xoxo
from fireflyez76 :
Thanks for the note. It's taken me a long time to be able to be that honest about myself and my life. Still not sure if I'm comfortable with having it there so out in the open though. Thank you for the compliments on my kids :) You're daughter is gorgeous herself!
from pashiesplace :
Ah, Monday Nite Football. I was starting to worry about you. No entry in days. I also want a gray, but not too gray blue in our bedroom. I hate when shades are different once on the walls! Good luck Friday!
from jane-does :
Judy- I have a question for you. I remember in an entry a long time ago, you talked about how there was an ISP address on your 'hosts' page that seemed to be right next to you. How can you tell where the person is from? I have a problem. I thought I de-googled myself with the magic code, but someone searched for "jane diary" last night, and I am afraid I know who the person is. It may just be paranoia, but... yeah. Do you have any information for me on ISP addresses? Thanks a ton. -Jane

09/19: I've seen her in concert. Before I left CA, my friend and I went to see her at a really swanky club (it was a private concert that you could only win tickets to). Her voice is amazing. And I know what you mean about nothing taking precedence over the words. xoxo
from rosarybeads :
09/18: That was so sweet. It reminded me of the funerals on my dad's side of the family (we have a rather large, southern family on his side). I think I'll lose my mind when my grandparents die. My relationship with them is so visceral, you know? xoxo
from rosarybeads :
09/17: Palmer's lotion. Either that or the Nivea Q10 lotion. Those worked miracles for my pregnant-dry skin and my stretch marks (that you can barely see now!). :) xoxo
from rosarybeads :
09/16: LOL Yeah.. bowel movements. Who knew? I remember being that excited with Katie and Anna. And I'm excited in advance for Alexander. You know... I officially hate WalMart, but I'm finding that you *can* buy things there that you'd buy at other stores anyway (like, womanly essentials) for much, much cheaper. And, there's a new SuperCenter right near us so *shrugs* I might change my mind about shopping there. But I will NOT buy my clothes there! LOL xoxo
from pashiesplace :
YAY Madeline!!! I think letting them test it at around 18 months is the way to go. That's what I'm going to do with Em. I tried the wait-till-she-seems-ready approach with Maya and if I were to believe that, she still would wear a diaper. How sad for your sitter. I'm with you. I cannot imagine losing a child at any age.
from tornchild :
UGH ya know i was so unsure that it was him i almost didn't post that..but he DID do ring of fire right? cuz that's the one i was GONNA say..but then i thought no cuz i like devil went down better..DOH i hate lookin dumb lol.
from rosarybeads :
09/12: Thank you! :) Cross your fingers that he doesn't forget... xoxo
from pashiesplace :
Oh, I didn't know Sarah did a version? I'll have to find it. Your books are stull here BTW. I haven't gotten near the post office with everyone sick. Soon, I promise.
from rosarybeads :
09/12 #2: I forgot this earlier - I LOVE the new layout. Very pretty. xoxo
from rosarybeads :
09/12: Thank you, Judy. You are so sweet. I know all about the "woe is me" line... it's frustrating, and I totally hear where you're coming from. Everything will work out; just remember you're never given more than you can handle. :) xoxo
from jamsjunction :
I love your new layout! So girlie, and pretty...
from flyinby :
Nice new layout. You like those blossoms! :) They are very much you, it's nice!
from pashiesplace :
Happy Anniversary a bit late. Love the new layout.
from nmnohr :
Happy Anniversary!!!!
from tornchild :
happy anniversary!!!
from rosarybeads :
09/08: Our anniversary is this Saturday. We've got Alexander's well-baby checkup and the Providence Wine Festival. (Who says romance is dead? LOL) I have no idea what to get him, and I have to be super-sneaky about it because we're ALWAYS together as a family, and if we're not with our kids, we're with each other. So, yeah. I've gotta think of something quick! LOL xoxo
from elenastar :
Lol, tents. Starry
from rosarybeads :
09/05: (UGH TO SMGB!!!!) I highly reccommend letting go of your inhibitions. Start slow, trying something new as you fell ready. Intimacy is a gift - and can really be a saving grace through the rough patches of a marriage. :)
from rosarybeads :
09/04: AWWWW! xoxo
from cleanstart :
*looking down laughing* lol... Thanks for the note. We really did enjoy ourselves this past weekend.
from nmnohr :
9/3 I just burst out laughing at my computer after reading your note. 96 times? Really? I swear I only left one comment. But it's funny because your diary took over my computer. I kept clicking on the little "X" to get it off my screen, and it would shut the window and then pop back up. Then Madeline's picture would pop up over and over. I mean your daughter is absolutely adorable, but geeeez! Heh lol. strange computer happenings over here apparantly.
from rosarybeads :
09/03: LOL Practically the only thing I ate during my 1st and 2nd trimesters was ramen. That was my "heavy food". xoxo
from elenastar :
Hi! Congrats on the girls, they sound gorgeous. BTW, I'm blind, hence I couldn't see the pics. Seeya, Ell

I love Taco Johns.........we don't have them around here anymore.........haven't for a long time. Do they still have Taco Tuesdays?? :o)
from jane-does :
That's it, Judy. Exactly. I could never pinpoint it and I don't know why. It gives me a sense of peace just to label it. Thank you, so much.
from rosarybeads :
08/25: You sound so much like me during my first and second trimesters. I didn't gain hardly anything, and didn't start showing (meaning, wearing regular clothes pretty much masked the Alex-belly) until my third trimester. When I cloth-diapered Katie, I used Gerber cloth diapers from Target with the big old school diaper pins (you know, the ones with the big yellow ducks or blue turtles on them? LOL) and plastic pants over them. That's the way my old Filipino mama and all my aunties cloth-diapered - and that was the way I was taught to do it. The "new" cloth diapers scare me, actually. I don't think I'd know what to do with them. :) xoxo
from rosarybeads :
08/23: Still no baby. Still 6cm dialated, 70% effaced. This kid is as stubborn as his parents. LOL My midwife doesn't want to introduce pictocin until after we've passed the EDD (08/27), or later. She's realllly hesitant to do anything but have me walk and rest. So, we'll see what happens. These irregular contractions are killing me, though. They start off about 11 minutes apart, then get as close as 5 minutes, then they stop. Just stop. And every time I get all excited and ready to grab my hospital bag and go - then ... nothing. LOL I hope my water breaks or something significant happens with my cervix asap. LOL xoxo
from rosarybeads :
08/22: I had the same problem w/ my ob/gyn using the spinning wheel dohickey. At first, we were told Sept.13th. Then, it was August 27th. Then it was September 2nd. Now, it's "the week of August 27th". Grrrr. As long as the babe comes out soon, I don't care anymore. LOL xoxo
from pashiesplace :
Do you want the Baby's First Year & Surviving Toddlers books? They are just as awesome. If so email me and I'll get them right out to you :)
from pashiesplace :
OMG Girlfriends Guide! I LOVE her books. Do you have the follow ups to it? If not I'll gladly send you them since I won't be needing them again. I love a nifty FLIP BTW.
from pashiesplace :
Oh it is always hard to feel good after dealing with real numbers. But you've got the house and that is awesome. 14 weeks already?! OMGosh!
from jane-does :
Thank you SO very much for everything you write to me. It truly means the world to me. :) You are so very encouraging. THANKS! :)
from rosarybeads :
08/19: I'll have to try the "Awww nuts" approach around Katie and Anna. Anna is calling everyone "loser" and Katie says "*SIGH* What...EV...ER..." entirely too much when she has to help with cleaning her room. It is funny, though, seeing them immitate whatever Greg and I say. Now we just have to watch our potty mouths..... xoxo
from bettyalready :
Thanks dudes! I changed it...printed the little bugger and it will be on its way. I think I might do that every time I write a complaint in. 2 sets of eyes are better than 1.
from pashiesplace :
Mars & Venus. That's really what we are. John and I now joke about it. I'll say something about the kids, ask if he heard me and he'll say yes, then purposely reiterate something on a different topic all together.
from nmnohr :
Just had to leave a quick note!!! Just catching up on everything - I'm so happy for you and the house situation. Sooooooo exciting! And I love the name Magdelan...that was my great aunts name, and I just love the name Maggie. Just thought I'd give you my 2 cents :o)
from hope-soul :
Hey, I just had to say what a beautiful girl you have :) and I love those pants that she has on! I tried to sign your guestbook but it wouldn't let me
from pashiesplace :
Aww how cute she is!
from ontheoutside :
Hey thanks for the concern - I'm fine, I was pissy without power, but it's back now, so woo hoo!!!! God talk about psycho paper customers though! My goodness we got calls all day from people that were upset that they didn't get inserts and crosswords (we managed to get an 8 page report out on the blackout, but that's it - our printer building was out of power as well) - helloooooo like the paper is immune to blackouts, lol. Geez. :) Have a nice weekend Judy ok? :)
from pashiesplace :
Being in PA about an hour from NYC can be really scary. I know exactly the feeling you are talking about. My hubby was on his way into NYC the morning of 9-11 (ended up being stopped at the Liberty Park (statue of Liberty)exit and had a clear, close view across the river at the skyline. Days like this my heart sinks like it did then, just waiting for details.
from pregornot :
help, what's going on? You're scaring me - it's not something awful like 9/11 is it? What the heck, why am I so naive and dumb?

i LOVE Natalia...Natalia and Madeline--they are such..they make me think of pretty little girls with bows in their hair who grow up to be charitable, beautiful and friendly. They're just beautiful but not snobby names and i LOVE your boys name! I swore no william's b/c it's a family name and used omg so many times in my family-but it really is an awesome name..and if it wasn't so overused in my family..i would have!

hmmm signmyguestbook said i couldn't sign "that fast again" but i didn't sign? hmm. stupid thing. ANYWAY what i was trying to say in your book was that i hope things get better at work with mr. me (grrr!!!!). how is house stuff going? dave and i are contracting ourselves, eeek!!! it's going well though, lol i should probably write about it. oh well. anyway, my best wishes to your "bun in the oven" and madeline and your husband. have a fan-tab-u-lous day judybean!!
from jamsjunction :
I am sorry your having a rough ride right now. I hope that things improve 10 fold for you. Chin up, and remember, your not alone!
from tornchild :

from ray0flight :
I don't think you are overreacting at all. He stepped way over all possible steppable lines. I would be just as mad as you.
from rosarybeads :
08/07: I was like that during the first two trimesters with this baby. I felt like if it was just ONE thing I had to deal with (stress surrounding work, outside stress from certain people, or having the baby - then fine. I could handle that. But it was all three, all at once and I felt incredibly overwhelmed. Your ME is a bitch, that's all there is to it. ((hugs)) xoxo
from trinity63 :
Hi sweetie - why don't you tell your father that this guy needs to back off or you are not going to stick around until Feb. And that this man is not appropriate, nor is he respecting your boundaries.
from libbyo :
Hey Judy, tried to leave a note in your guestbook but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Sorry to hear about your hard times with editor guy... and I hope your spirits are lifting. Thanks for all the sweet notes in my guestbook this past while. XOXO
from jane-does :
I know I've only known you through your diary... but I love you. I really do. You are in my prayers. I know that you will make the right decisions about the direction your life should take. Believe me, I know all about being 'torn.' I have a lot of respect for you... in that, you will 'follow your heart' but you still remember that it isn't 'all about you.' Even though we are in such different situations right now, I feel like you're typing my heart. :) Take care, sweetheart. You are doing so well at this 'life' stuff. :) *hugs*
from pashiesplace :
Good for you! Now breathe deep.
from tornchild :
:O you're horrible! ok you're not but i'm so addicted to nico the oyster and stinky the snail and those stupid little fish now!!! even my 4yr old wants in on the action--but i'm too addicted to let him! lol..ok tommorrow..it's bedtime anyways i don't watch passions anymore..i used to watch another world till they cancelled it--i tuned into passions today and it was SO HORRIBLE..so i'm just a DOOL girl.
from tearstream :
I just wanted to say that even though you may feel as though you're not such a good pray-er, God knows your heart better than you do. He knows your desires, and hears them all, no matter how they're spoken/thought. I hope that what is meant to be, will be for you.
from jamsjunction :
I will certainly keep you in my prayers..I wish you the best of luck on the new job, the new upcoming house, and the baby bun :) I think its perfectly ok to pray as though you are having a conversation with a friend..God hears that, and if thats what your comfortable with then it works :)
from flyinby :
hang in there! you'll find your house! don't settle, get what you want!
from tornchild :
look at the entry b4 my regular entry today--i hope i entertained you :P

from rosarybeads :
07/29: Oy, you've got a lot on your plate! I don't like chocolate - I know, I'm committing a pregnant woman sin here. In my defense, I didn't like it *before* I got pregnant either. LOL I hope everything works out well for you and your family. xoxo
from nmnohr :
Well no wonder you haven't been feeling good! You have a lot on your plate to deal with. Write down your pros and cons for quitting/staying at the job. Then write down your pros and cons for buying a house now / or waiting. Maybe it will help make your decisions a little easier. Most of all, I hope you just get some peace of mind, because being stressed is no fun at all. Hang in there, and here's a hug from me!
from pashiesplace :
I'm sorry you are feeling so lousy. I was sick until 20 weeks w/Maya.Any food smell would make me puke, then spraying lysol, glade, burning a candle(anything to kill the stench) would make me puke too. It was horrible. We're looking for a house too and it is so stressful. Good luck on your hunt.
from jamsjunction :
I am so sorry things are stressfull right now. I agree, buying a house, although it sounds wonderful, can be a major pain..For me, it was the whole "can I live here for 30 yrs"..because if I am buying it, and it will be ours, I dont want to MOVE for heavens sake..especially after we spent loads of money to decorate and fix it the way we want it to be. Working for/with family has to be stressfull! The world revolving around money just bites! Hope your week is better!
from xnavygrrl :
I'm proud of what you wrote about the right of a sexual assault victim to remain anonymous. For all the apes out there that think that a rape victims name should be broadcast, well the morons should just put themselves in that place. If someone did it to you, you wouldn't want it broadcast either. I am Victim's Advocate. I'm sure you also know most rapes go unreported. That is so sad to me that the Accused gets sympathy while the victim gets the stigma. That's really screwed up. You go girl! It's not about race. It's about him being a big kahuna and all. If it comes out he didn't do it, then whatever. I don't care then. But we want to keep the innocent from being victimized twice. The justice system is rough enough.
from tornchild :
wow! our preapproval was for 108 too..but here it gets you a shack! Congrats!!
from jane-does :
Congratulations on the pre-qualifying loan amount! I know you are really excited to get this house-hunting thing started. And you have every right to be nervous, and EXCITED. Again, congratulations. :)
from ray0flight :
Congradulations on the pregnancy! What happy news!
from nmnohr :
I have some catching up to do in your diary! I feel so out of touch! I absolutely love love love LOVE the Neverending Story. I'm going to rent it this weekend and watch it with my daughter. I can't wait!
from ray0flight :
I just wanted to say - I have seen alot of the notes you leave people and you seem like such a wonderful person. I checked out your diary and I think I am going to add you to my list of favourites :o)
from pashiesplace :
Whoops I forgot. I agree about Kobe. Your thoughts are mine as well.
from flyinby :
i used to live for those visits when i'd get to hear that heartbeat or see that ultrasound. i was always such a worry wart, always afriad that they wouldn't be able to find that heartbeat, or that they'd see my baby was missing an arm or something . . . *sigh* i loved to hear that heartbeat! the first time i did i cracked up laughing because i thought it sounded like that "beam" when they say "beam me up scotty" on those star trek movies. lol
from flyinby :
awesome picture! she's soooo cute! great smile! and i'm jealous of your piano, on a side note. ;)
from pashiesplace :
I just read all that I've missed. CONGRATS!! Do you know when you are due yet? I had to laugh, we are still in synch. I love Sarah Mc., green gingham and old girls names too. Bridget & Emily aren't exactly the most modern and none of the girls has a modern middle name. Maya Katherine, Emily Grace & Bridget Faye.
from jamsjunction :
I couldnt agree more...when I heeard Jason Kidd (I believe it was) signed on with NJ for the maxium of $99 Million of the course of 6 yrs I was flabergasted! As if anyone needs that large of an amount of money to play ball. Your little girl is just darling!
from jane-does :
*laughing* She bonks herself on the head?! Well, of course she does! That's what the monkeys do- HA! What a hilarious little monkey you have! Thanks for putting a smile on my face! Goodnight... he he hum.
from flyinby :
ugh, the heat! i wish i could retreat to the car for ac, but that is broken as well! arizona heat sucks, bigtime, and it's humid lately cuz monsoons are coming . . . *shudder*
from jane-does :
Okay, Judy, I am sure you will get sick of the opinions on your names by strangers, but I have to say... go with Josephine! :) I love it! Katherine is very cute as well. It is a close second. But Stella? I don't like that at all. JUST my humble opinion! :) But I may have to leave my opinions on your names every week... I absolutely am obsessive about baby naming. :) I am so happy for you and Mike and Maddy. I really am. You have the family life that I wish I could have. :) Hugs- Jane
from flyinby :
i've got one inverted nipple, and one 'normal'. so i know how hard it is to nurse when you are a little 'different'. (dont' you hate those labels?) i'm sure it's all gonna go well, just don't get discouraged by your l.c.! check out http://www.got-breastmilk.com and visit the message boards for some great online support (the site is under construction, but it's very very helpful!).
from jane-does :
Hey Judy. Well, as a woman labeled "flat-nipples" by the lactation nurse myself, I know how you feel! :) The first five days were excrutiating, then the next ten were rough. But suddenly, I hit the magic "two weeks" spot and breastfeeding was second-nature. My Maddy is still nursing before bed (at 14 months old!!!), but it has been a wonderful experience for us. BUT, don't let the 'pressure' or 'guilt' get you! You are a wonderful mother, and either way you choose to nourish your next baby will be fine! :) Hugs- Jane

from anifish :
Oooh I do love your layout... You're a very brave woman for trying the cloth diapers! And it does seem that those maternity nurses are very UNhelpful. One of my friends recently gave birth to her first child, and the nurses were very unhelpful to her, too. She said the last thing she wanted after a night of labor was to have her swollen breast shoved into a child's mouth by un-gentle hands!
from fireflyez76 :
I'm a mom of 4, and baby 1 was not breast fed. And you know what out of those 4 it's my first that has the best teeth, and is excelling at the top of his class. Eat that breast milk nazi's :P
from jane-does :
I don't know! It looks fine on my screen. Does the info on the left cover the entry on the right? How weird.
from jane-does :
I especially love her in the green-beady necklace. So girly. :) What a flexible little one. :) I swear, she is gorgeous. But you know that, don't you? Love- Jane
from tornchild :
She's gorgeous! what a doll!
from fireflyez76 :
You're daughter is gorgeous! I just love her "making a face" face LOL
from nmnohr :
Madeline is such a doll. And the big bed dilema? Eeek, I'm glad I'm past that. I think it's harder on the parents than the child!!
from jane-does :
Judy- Please don't start a separate journal. Just write everything you are going through in this one! :) I like it that way. -Jane
from fireflyez76 :
I love your diary, you write the way I wish I could. Whenever I read Sarah's (tearstream) diary I take a peek at yours. I think though now I'll officially add you to my buddy list if you don't mind. Congratulations on your little apple seed. I wish you all the best! :) Jamie
from lerin :
Thanks Jude! :) I think William is perfect. But I say you are having another daughter. :) Just my vote. I do love the name Josephine. It is very pretty and classic. I don't think the "-ine" problem is too much either... You know they may both get called "Maddy" and "Jo" anyway. :) I am a bit of a names-nazi myself. I am not a fan of "Ashley"... or "Lerin" for that matter... anything too dated or too made up is not my style. Okay, I have gone on for a while now! Thanks again, and Happy 4th.
from ontheoutside :
Hey...thought you could use some extra picture space, what with another on the way...Just wanted to thank you for being awesome for the past two years, you're great man!!!! :) PS. Love the comment by my name on your favs list, ;).
from lerin :
Okay, did you already tell us what your name picks are? Or have you thought about that yet? :) Just wondering.
from tornchild :
Aw..hot weather is no time to be sick. I hope it all passes for you quickly!
from jamsjunction :
Welcome Back!! So sorry to hear that your sick, and so is your sweet bundle of adorableness! Sending both you well thoughts! might want to take a trip to sams, for those industrial sized containers of Tums now, before the morning err..night sickness gets any worse! Aww a sweet little apple seed! Life is amazing!
from lerin :
CONGRATULATIONS. :)
from jamsjunction :
Hope you have a nice mini-vacation.
from jamsjunction :
I hope you start feeling better soon!
from flyinby :
grats. and thank you for your note. (i used to be catholic, btw, before i became a mormon.) i appreciate your perspective, and comments. it's just something i will probably struggle with forever, as much as it all makes sense in my mind logically it never quite touches my heart.
from jamsjunction :
I think if you're both ready to tell the world, then shout your happy news from the roof tops! A new little bundle of adorableness! I am excited for you! :)
from tornchild :
I've never waited..I think the most i've waited to tell was 2wks and that was b/c i wanted to tell my parents on halloween w/ a card and a poem i'd written. I don't think i could wait the 12wks for the "safe" zone, i'm always too excited--planned or not lol, plus if something should happen I would not want to have to hide it or bear it alone..that's too hard.
from nmnohr :
Now wait a gosh darn second here......(by the way I hope you got my emails sending you congrats on the 2 pink lines - that is so awesome) Now, back to my note - I just read your Friday Five when you talked about your haircut disaster on the day you had Madeline. I've said this a million times before - BUT YOU FREAK ME RIGHT THE HELL OUT..... The day before I went in to labor with Mason, I went in to get my haircut, and the bastard cut 9 - yes NINE inches off my hair. To this day I swear that is what sent me into labor. We need to compile a list of the similarities in our lives.
from jamsjunction :
YIPEEEEEEEEE!!! Thats wonderful news!
from tornchild :
OMG HOW FREAKY! AND OMG CONGRATS!!WOOOOOOO!!!! Oh I hope your pregnancy is uneventful and labor is easy lol..yayyy congratulations!!!!
from nmnohr :
I can relate (surprise surprise) to your entry about work. We do it cuz we have to right now, not cuz it's what we love. I wish I could stay home, but I'd also miss the extras we have. Can't have it both ways I guess - unless I win the lottery, and if that happens - I'll mail you a check so you can stay home too. deal? Your dream was terrifying.......I hate dreams that are so real like that.....and you wake up crying. Eeeek. I'm glad you shared it!
from tornchild :
Well I can try to ease your mind a little--dreams of death are not actually of death they are of change. I would say that b/c you are thinking of adding to your family you are going to make a major change to your family. If you believe in the psychic ability of dreams it could be a signal that you are indeed going to add on very soon. Also..the soccer girl..she doesn't have much significance except that she may have pissed you off recently lol. The anger in your dream could mean that you are upset about something, not sure what that's up to you to figure out, but normally anger is exaggerated in a dream to let you know that something is bugging you. While disturbing..it's not psychotic or anything..but i know what you mean..i once dreamt that i watched Garrett drown in a car that i was in..i couldn't get him out in time. Very disturbing. Ok that's all I know..lol it was a hobby of some friends and mine to disect our dreams in h.s. Good luck on the test tonite!

Your entry was so beautiful, I love how you describe what you want for your daughter. She's so precious. I'm glad you are so excited about having another baby - can't wait to hear the news someday that you are expecting :o)
from lerin :
Judy-- Wow, and an hour later... I am done. Well, I know you will keep writing, but your diary seemed so *big* to me and now I have finished. Anyway, I can answer a few of your questions... when the "Unmask!" entry was written in late May, that was me reading you voraciously. I had a couple of days off and I spent them with your diary. I wanted to wish you a Happy Belated Birthday... It sounds crazy but I haven't been reading your 'current' entries because I was afraid I may 'spoil' something... I know, I know. Okay, and MY Madeleine also has the cherry dress-- from Babies R Us, no? And it is the cutest thing ever. I have pics of HER in it up on my site, just go to the photos link. Okay, and the links to your site from e-mail you were wondering about may have been me too... AOL has the "insert in mail" favorite sites option, and I have been e-mailing links to myself so I can remember where I left off. Lastly, I wanted to say I can't wait to find out your preggo test results! Good luck! :) Anyway, once again, thank you for writing. I will be back every day I can! :) Love- Lerin
from lerin :
Judy, I am so glad you are here. Thank you *so* much for your comments. It is 2:30 AM and I can't sleep... too much hurts right now. So here I am, escaping in your journal. I am in May 2003 finally. I guess I am almost caught up to now. Your Madeline is precious. Her pictures-- especially the bath one and the one where she is rubbing Stinky's tail on her nose, made me smile even as I am crying over my marriage. I mean, your precious baby can make a stranger smile even through photos. Just want to say, as life throws you curves or you feel lost, just remember what a beautiful family you have and smile. Thank you, Judy, for posting your diary on the net. For your honesty. Thanks. Love -Lerin
from jamsjunction :
I love the new pictures of your little bundle of adorableness! The last 3 are my favorite...the one of her in the little blue dress with the purse and her dress up shoes is priceless! But the last picture should be blown up and framed!
from tornchild :
she's just gorgeous..what a great photo..i think my favorite is the last one. Ya know..tommorrow's the 14th!
from jamsjunction :
Your daughter is just simply gorgeous! What a adorable Jem you have on your hands! I am excited to find out if your expecting a new bundle of adorableness!
from irisheyes70 :
Thank you for your awesome GB message. Fighting with a spouse sucks. It was so *great* to have someone understand. *sigh* And your entry today about Madeline made me think of my first knock knock joke. Knock Knock. Who's there? Olive. Olive who? O-love you!
from lerin :
Hey Jude. I have decided to lock my diary because of the nature of the things I am writing about. I don't want certain people to happen across it. Anyway, the username is "secret" and the password is "friend." Thanks for everything. I am still reading you like a madwoman. I am up to January 2003. Your writings really touch me. -Lerin
from mormonmama :
*sniffle* i love it when they say i love you for the first time and mean it. it's so sweet! *sniffle*
from rosarybeads :
6/12: I just read your "lost" entry. I relate to so much of that, on so many levels. Especially the Old Navy shopping thing! LOL Last January, I weighed 220 (although for my entire life I've been a naturally skinny-legged, skinny-armed, thin person). I thought I was THE fattest thing to walk the earth. Eventually all my self-loathing got to me, and I put myself on a STRICT diet and exercise program. It paid off BIG TIME. By late August, I weighed 140, then I dropped another 10 pounds by the end of October. Then we got pregnant. LOL So now I'm back up to 165, but I'm 7 months pregnant so I don't care. Much. :) Just know that your daughter is going to love, love, love you no matter what. And love yourself like she loves you : without conditions; your outlook on life will change dramatically. Another baby sounds awesome! Of course, I'm a mom of almost-3, I'm totally biased. xoxo
from sherpahigh :
Found you through tornchild... I liked all I read very much... Your daughter (beautiful name by the way) is gorgeous. The eyes on her... made me goo and I am not a goo over babies kind of girl (that, of course, being for lack of a better term... good thing I went to journalism school *hehe*). Anyway... take care and lots of cheers. A.
from tornchild :
lol i live in "neutral" country i guess. And Jason missed a bunch of the new ones too so he makes sure to watch them now that they're repeats. The dress is from YOUR post lol..i'm a shopoholic..i can't wait to get all this icky weight off-or at least under control and get shoppin! lol.
from tornchild :
I vote for he JJill dress..although the Eddie Bauer one is close--but i like the fit of the Jjill one..very sexy..too bad it wasn't in something other than black--but you could add a nice colored sweater or throw with it-and of course accessorize accessorize accessorize lol. Sexay mama!
from nmnohr :
I like the first dress, but the links didn't work to the other 2! I hate finding dresses.....I need to find a couple dresses also. We have 2 weddings in August, and one in October!
from ontheoutside :
Hey! Yeah we have a year and three months, but I TOTALLY want to get a church and stuff now, so that I can start planning for other things- flowers, reception, etc. And of course so that the church won't get taken by someone else. We are going to sit down in a few days and discuss budget too. We are lucky- his parents are going to pay for half. Unfortunatly, mine are not nearly as "rich" and can't do that. Oh well. I'm so excited though Judy!!!! :-) Oh, and luckily, if the 18th doesn't work, we agreed upon the weekend after, the 25th, hehe. We're prepared like that. And hey, now we can celebrate anniverseries together hehe! Sorry so long talk to you soon!
from tornchild :
My first and this one are the poster children for "it only takes ONE time" my 2nd took 5 days of trying, but who knows which actual day i conceived..could've been the first. Um..i'm not sure I can wait a week..I may pester you lol. OK I won't but I'll faithfully read hoping that impatience gets the best of you. ps fact plus has a test you can take a week earlier than most tests :P
from tornchild :
Soo......did you test yet then? How about now? Now? Now? Don't make a stressed out pregnant woman wait! Misery--err uhh i mean gleeful joy--loves company :D
from jamsjunction :
Thank you so very much for the sweet Birthday wishes you sent to me! I appreciate them! Your family is beyond GORGEOUS! Hugs Ohh and BTW, I heard from a friend tonight that Tania will be home on Saturday sometime, I am sure she will update when she gets a spare moment.

Thanks very much for the comments because I needed them! I wonder if Martha Stewart were a man, would they be going after her so hard?

hugs and thanks so much for your wonderful words:) I love them:) xooxoxo
from lerin :
I just read "oh grandpa s" from September of 2002. (I am *still* working my way through your diary.) Anyhow, I read that he sang "Bye-oh" to your Madeline. I wonder where it comes from. I sing it to my Maddy Sophie- my grandparents sang it to me. We have all kinds of variations, "Bye-oh, Bye-oh, Bye-oh Baby" or the "Bye-oh Mama, Bye-oh Daddy, Bye-oh Sophie, Time for bed..." It's a small world. But yes, I was wondering where that came from. I think it is so strange to read that in Wyoming, a baby heard that nearly a year ago from her great-grandpa, while in Oklahoma, I *just* sang it to my baby when I rocked/nursed her to sleep. Sorry to ramble... I just have never met someone with that same song in their history. People always ask me, "What are you singing to her?" and I don't know. Anyway, sorry for the loss. I'll read on... -Lerin

I meant to add to my GB entry, that even though that was the first time I signed it, I've actually been reading parts of your diary for sometime now..Sorry I didn't sign earlier, but I am new to diaryland, and still figureing it out.. Again, Happy 24th Birthday! :)
from alias79 :
Hello. You convinced me to unmask and come forward. (looks like I'm not your only new reader though) I'm not a crazy person, just someone that has become slightly addicted to reading diaries this past month. One leads to another to another to another... I'm about your age and leaning towards not having kids. I haven't decided yet if reading all these mommy diaries have made me want kids more or less! Good luck with everything and Happy almost birthday. Bye!
from lerin :
Hey Judy. If you've noticed your stats soaring lately, it has probably been me. I've been reading you for a few days now... wow, since last Friday (5/23 to 5/30). Anyway, I am up through October of 2001. I was reading lizachaneen, and when I got through her diary, I clicked on her first favorite: YOU! :) I read an entry about the deliciousness of pineapple. I absolutely love your descriptive language, and I saw that you have a daughter named Madeline (mine is Madeleine Sophie). So, even though you are over 800 entries, I decided to read you like a book. Wow. To hear the story from the beginning of sorts-- I am amazed at the directions life pulls us. I have read a year of your life now. Fascinating. Anyway, not to freak you out with an insanely long note, I just had to let you know I was here, and I'll be coming back very soon- probably tomorrow! I plan to read your whole story, at least, the part on d-land. :) Have a great weekend. LOVE your style. -Lerin

You'll do awesome. I have complete faith in you. I'm sure it's a little nerveracking, but think how lucky you are......I'm sure half of your state would love to be in your shoes. Good luck!

It's true, every pregnancy is different. Carrying Maya was really tough(so I thought)but Em was the complete opposite. Even with preterm I was taking Maya for decent walks up until 35 weeks. Overall I felt great. This one has been the worst. Also alot of the supposed theories on gender have gone out the window here. I had morning sickness 12 hours a day up until 22 weeks w/Maya, got sick twice with Em, never with this one. They're all girls. You just never know. You got very lucky the first time but lightening can strike twice :O)
from redshoegirl :
Hi Judy, just checking you out, came here from Lukey's mama. Hope Madeleine (sp??) has got over her bloody experience, she is really beutiful, you know. (Dammit, of course you know, you're her mother). So yes. Ooh, and I joined your not a teen ring some weeks ago. It's a good ring xx
from nmnohr :
Ok, signmyguestbook must not be working now. So I'll leave you a note instead! Sorry your day isn't going well. It's cold and crappy here too - and I have a headache from hell. Must be sympathy pains for you and your sore throat, since we are indeed twins seperated at birth. Hahahaha.

don't feel bad about the coffee. i go to starbucks at least five days a week, and would go seven but i usually can't find any money that day. my drink is $3.60! add THAT up! melanie

Oh oh oh, I just re-found this Bath & body works lotion that smells like (my favorite!) Lilacs and has shea butter. Oh yes baby! I love it! I try not to be materialistic but I really like all that stuff too. Oh. And clothes.
from pregornot :
I so understand the marital stress....it kind of cycles. I understand being needed as well. I so get sleeping in uncomfortable positions on the office floor, as if putting yourself there, crying and in pain will make him feel bad, and fix all there is to be fixed. I hope the kisses continue.
from me-undaunted :
that must've been a damn good kiss! :o)
from youngblood20 :
4/24 I think every marriage gets like that from time to time.. Take the punches and roll with em' honey. :)

Hi Judy :) Thanks so much for your entry in my gbook. I thought I'd give you this link to an album with some pics of Reuben. The last one is the one of him and I that I had up over the weekend. Sorry you missed! http://www.reubenseth.ReubenSeth.photoshare.co.nz
from ontheoutside :
thank you. not sure what i'm going to do at this point...thanks for the hugs, they help. :)
from ontheoutside :
no lol i swear to god it's there. i don't know why it takes so long to show up- maybe a time difference thing? i know that's happened before. not sure though. how weird. but yeah, your signings are there b/c when they don't show up right away, i go to signmyguestbook.com and "edit entries" to see if it's there so i can read it. wierd huh? :P but yeah, to make this signing longer- LOVED handmaid's tale. so sad though...we watched the movie which was wretched with the visual's and such...ugh. it's like the extreme feminist's idea of distopia.
from ontheoutside :
ok cool! thanks for your thoughts anyways. :) maybe i'd like working in a paper, i don't know. :) i may be asking/prying more soon, hehe.

thank you!!!

Merry Christmas Judy and Madeline. I'm so sorry for your loss.
from catsnapples :
My heart goes out to you with the loss of such a special Grandma. I wish you the best of performances when you sing for her funeral. Remember, it is something special, just for her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
from erlenweg6 :
I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Grandma S! May her love and your memories live on in your hearts forever.
from noonegetsme :
I saw your ring, and hell I hate most teens too(unfortunatly I am one and have to be with their incompotance all day). What my point here is that some of us are allowed to hate our lives because we have good reason. Read a bit and you'll get it.
from me-undaunted :
glad your grandma is doing okay, and thank you so much for your guestbook message.
from me-undaunted :
i hope your grandma will be okay. ::hugs::

It's good to forgive a spouse. I hope you have some serious luck getting Mike to start helping out. It's only fair. Sometimes they just need a lesson in order to feel like they can take on a chore. Mine still won't dust, but he does almost eveything else. This is only 30 years of teaching him too :)
from libbyo :
Hey, Thanks for stopping by and signing the guestbook... I will check out that book and by the way, that pic of your daughter in her new dress is adorable! What a cutie! *hugs*

Welcome to the mommies!! I am looking forward to getting to know you via your diary
from otodesigns :
hey its jodi. :) your kid is so cute and all your talk and lanas (groupie94.diaryland.com) talk about babies inspired me to make mommy layouts. :) hope you are doing well and have a good thanksgiving weekend!
from me-undaunted :

from ontheoutside :
thanks. you are the 3rd person to tell me that, and i can't figure it out. on my computer at work, at the library, and at home i can read it. i'm trying to figure it out, sorry! :(
from me-undaunted :
wow...i was checking my faves list, and i noticed that you listed me as a fave. so i went to your diary to check you out, and i kept thinking that there was something vaguely familiar about you. much to my surprise, you were the same girl that i used to read when i was journaling in leilei49, only you were single and child-free! has that much time passed? you're a mommy now...that just floors me. here's a belated congratulations on the nuptials and the baby, btw :o)

Okay, new theory. Maybe it's more common for older women to have complications that necessitate C-sections. Does that sound plausible? Because you're young and I assume most of your friends are, but the friends I'm talking about are at Least in their late 20s, and most are in their 30s. So maybe that's why all the C-sections. I'm grasping at straws over here. Thanks for your input!
from catsnapples :
Well, it's teething! I hope you don't have a stint of sleepless nights for three years as I did. My kid's teething problems were always associated with ear infections too. All I can say is TYLENOL! Good luck. catsnapples

Wow... well I'm glad to read your view on when people quit or disappear from their diaries. This tells me that YOU won't quit your diary, and I can always count on you to be here! It would really suck in invest time getting use to someone and then BAM, one day their gone.

Hey I love your life goes on statement even though you didn't make it. lol. I always wonder who was the first person the say it. ~Cowgirl2005~
from mikemikemike :
just a question: is the point of your ring so other people who hate teens have some sort of navigation to different "non-teen" writers, or are you just seeing how much controversy you can arouse?
from daemonchild :
Well, here it is, ANOTHER complaint about "Not A Teen." Oh God, how you must suffer. I'm not going to try to explain what upsets me about the ring, except to ask you to put it in perspective. Imagine that someone had a ring called "not-a-girl," and that in their disclaimer they said that no one female could join, and then gave a long, detailed, stereotypical description of the things that females talk, and think, and write about, and explain that they do not enjoy reading diaries which cover those topics. Now, maybe you still wouldn't think it would be appropriate or necessary for a woman reading that to be offended or hurt, but at least you would understand that if she WERE offended or hurt, it would have nothing to do with her inability to actually join that particular Diaryring. It's because it's a stereotype, and stereotypes are hurtful. Judging from your entry about Native American sports mascots, you don't seem to understand that very well. I know you can come up with lots of reasons why people simply aren't mature until they reach a certain age, and you would probably be right. But since this is a diary website, I think what really offends people is that you presume to classify the content of their diaries based on a stereotype.
from macky :
i know that i have no right to say this and i know you probably don't care, but i feel the need to complain. I am a teenager. I saw the "i am not a teen ring info" do-dad, and was curious and clicked the link and read the requirements. they made me sad. i felt insulted. now, i will admit that many of my peers act the way you depicted teens acting and that i have been prone to acting like that as well. i have wasting my share of journal entries obsessing over some boy or complaining about my evil parents. but still. i get enough crap about being a teenager as it is. just because my hormones are all over the place and i am only fifteen doesn't mean i'm not a person. (that sounded really cheesy, i know) i'm not asking you to change what you wrote . . er . . . typed, and i really don't know why i'm wasting my time, sitting here at my keyboard, filing this complaint, but i was bored and had nothing else to do so, here i am. okay, i feel better now.
from vinylflower :

I am so sorry about your Tigger!! I can't imagine how hard it must be--I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

I understand your fish dilemma. My roommates and I had a bunch of fish and one of them had a habit of laying down in the rocks at the bottom of the tank and not moving for hours on end. We thought he was dead many times. We changed his name to Lazarus.

Lovely pretty in pink site. Love your honest posts. I like the idea of the not a teen ring. Just because there are privileges to being an adult you don't understand until you get to be an adult.

from ninjabitch :
I'm a teenager. I don't think I know everything. I kinda like my parents, and when things aren't going my way, I realize that it's usually due to my own laziness and lack of motivation. I hate high school...but only because I'm sick of it...not because it's so hard or the teachers are trying to get me. I've always had a rather intense dislike for fads. I like what I like, regardless of what my peers are doing. There's nothing wrong with a little angst in your music time to time, but it's certainly not good to wallow in it. POP MUSIC IS EVIL AND BOY BANDS SHOULD BE DECIMATED. I don't write about my crushes. I don't even get crushes anymore. And if I did...I would handle it myself, rather than assigning an incompetent friend to handling it. In my diary, I spell out *all* my words, and some are even impressed by my mad vocabulary skills :D I like to think that my diaries have um...content...but I suppose that's all subjective. See. Teens aren't all that bad. Don't underestimate us :(
