Thanks for the birthday wishes, although the only drink I had was on Wednesday night--I had a pint of guinness to wash down some bad news. The birthday itself was pretty low-key, plus I worked until midnight. Anyway, though, thanks again.
from dublingirl :
thanks for your note! at least you can spread your folks out over that much acreage as you mentioned, we had two very small spaces in a community college and a very long corridor. had it been better weather i would have thrown half my exhibitors outdoors! with that much work ahead of you, you better feed yourself PLENTY of coffee! :D
from not-tuesday :
Well, I'm trying...
from to-my-heart :
I'm glad you have an unlocked diary. I considered locking mine but decided that would be compromising myself so I didn't.
from to-my-heart :
I love to re-purposing things too. Sounds like you are wonderfully creative. I think its okay to use the menorah. I mean a lot of people use them for non-religous items. So its all good in my view. Good luck with it!
from to-my-heart :
I like it. :)
from mrs-roboto :
Thank you!
from lady-frenzy :
I live in Canada (so it's almost always cold) But I do have hat. ^_^
from to-my-heart :
thats are great photos.
from gothamite :
I can't live with anyone. Yet, if forced to, and I agree with you that women are difficult, I'd much rather live with a woman than a man. As for cats, though, I think the male ones are just cooler, in my experience. The females have all been basket cases.
from gothamite :
I had a female black and white cat who was a hand-me-down and a total nightmare. The cat we have now is orange with tiger stripes and is the greatest animal I've ever dealt with, so I can't complain. Thanks for the suggestions.
from not-tuesday :
Thank you!
from dublingirl :
i just read your entry about people coming by diaries and being nasty to the writer. thanks for writing that, hopefully somebody out there who likes to randomly critise other people's blogs will stop and think next time. :D have a lovely weekend ~ and a very happy valentine's day together! A.M.H.~

Yeah, I changed it a few days ago. It's cute, but I get bored and like to change it often. Thanks for the link. I checked it out and it's cool.
from not-tuesday :

HI! I will then delete your IP address from that entry! Don't worry, I am sure it was a guy who wrote that bizarre note in my guestbook. Thanks for letting me know your IP address was one listed on the entry, I was trying to figure out from the time the weird message was left who the culprit could have been by looking at my stats and times. I am glad you were sympathetic to the intern situation. She is driving me MAD. Thank God we only have to deal with her once a week, the the never ending emails from her telling me what's what has got to end. Your job sounds really interesting! We have a botanical garden here in VA that is of "museum" status. Actually a few. I love gardening...very therapeutic. Thanks again for the notes! Take care~ A.M.H.

Thanks for the note. I'm glad I caught your banner. Currently, I try to save every bit of hope that I'll survive Starbucks. Thanks for the encouragement, I'll throw it in with the rest of my well-wishes.

Do you ever watch stand-up comedy? Several years ago, Lewis Black did a routine that included ten or fifteen minutes of material that came out of the same idea. He'd overheard one sentence from another table in a restaurant, and it made him insane. The sentence: "If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college." I don't get it either.
from fan4 :
Have you seen Spider-Man 2? It's my top favorite Marvel movie. I like the books in the Harry Potter series. I'll start book 5 on Feb. 7th. The song I've been fixated on lately is "Light one Candle", sung by Peter, Paul and Mary.

I choose to recommend the book Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet.

If you have the "gold-stats" option, you can check the IP addresses of the net dwellers visiting your site. You'd be surprise just how many people browse but never say "boo". (btw, a starlet? *blushes* thank you.)
from thespark :
I run a diary community. I'd like for you to join the ring.
from allizonia :
Yup that's a picture of me. I used photodraw first, then just paint. FrontPage is my invaluable html tool: Most people who say they use notepad must either lie or use faster editors than diaryland... I don't have the patience for this plain code typing out stuff. The template you're using currently is the one I used in pink when I first started journaling. I approve of your taste!
from allizonia :
Hello there, you have a really nice diary here. I'm not sure nice is that flattering a word, but be flattered anyhow, maybe? For meee?
