| I thought I would point out a few things about your entry 'How to change?'.Please understand I write this as you asked for ideas. You like what you can learn from new relationships you state in this entry. Yet in the one I had with you that is exactly what you do not want. You do state you can be abit selfish and with that I completely agree. You state that you like it when people like me. Whether it is your looks, mind or soul they are attracted to it matters not and that has got to change as well. The you wonderhow to start the change. And then openly ask for any ideas? Well I would say having you as a friend, that I may have a better idea than most. My suggestions is to think with a far more compassionate mindset first in all situations than selfish than whatever Laural says goes. It is so apparent you think ME ME ME even when you think in a kind and generous manner. Your one of the most rigid defensive people I have ever met, and it saddens me that you will delete this, refuse to acknowledge it, ignore me, or something to that effect. I do honestly like and care about you Laural and hope you create this path, for it is one you must go down. My other suggestions would be for you to get help and another voice outside of your current world view to show you your own psychology. Nothing is more important than your life and goals as you only live once. So make sure there are NO excuses, as we both know that can happen. Our biggest opponent in lives in not others but ourselves. I will also suggest that you need to be honest with yourself and others as well. What else can I say but 'be true'? But find out what it means first and to truly be that and live it. I also want to apologise for being harsh with my critism of you in the past, so you know. I understand you have trouble with friendships and relationships and I take complete responsibility for letting myself enter into such with you irresponsibly and not understanding you better. For that as well I apologise. "There are three types of friends: those like food, without which you can't live; those like medicine, which you need occasionally; and those like an illness, which you never want." I feel now that our friendship is the latter and that really disturbs because I care significantly about you. | It's all kind of hard actually. We did excercises like this in class on Wed. and I had a tough time with them. It was a more elaborate still life set-up and I just have trouble seeing all these values and shadows, especially on all white objects. I'm more of a contour line kind of person I guess. But after a few failed attempts last night at trying to get the dimensions of the plate right (while looking at it from the side) I just gave up and put the plate on the floor so I could just draw it from the top. And it was much easier. And I was actually quite happy with how this came out since I have zero experience in the medium. The actual egg shadows were the easiest even though I see now that the one on the right is not quite the correct shape, those are the most prominent, the rest was harder, but I really enjoyed it the entire time nevertheless! |

I don't think I have the same problems with sex - I'm quite comfortable talking about it, and I have no problems with any "moral" apsects of it. But it is good to know that other people have asked the same kinds of questions. |
