I just went to see and it's so cute! I love the pics! I have a blogspot so my faraway family can see what's going on. Diaryland is not for family since I rant about them most of the time. ha!! I left a comment so you can go to mine.
from zkandaloza :
awww! your entry from 1.18.07 is soo sweet. Brought a tear to my eye!
from princessreva :
booya girl!!! You MUST share the creepiest of profies with us!!
from phluid61 :
Hi there! Thanks for the note. You're now way up there in my list of 'favourite, nicest people.' I read through some of your recent posts, and think I'll most likely be coming back. Congrats on the job, by the way.
from requiel :
Sweet! Congrats!!
from manda-d :
That was so sweet, thanks for sharing.
from cryondemand :
Libbyo: Hey, I used to read you when I was on diaryland, but that was a long time ago...then I found you again through eastofeden. I really relate the things you have to say. Can't wait to catch up and continue reading! Holli http://mrsronk.blogspot.com
from eastofeden :
What is your blogspot URL?? East of Eden.
from princessreva :
I'm pretty sure annonymous comments are allowed on LJ. I know I've done it before...
from nicolerenee :
why don't you do a message board? I just started one on proboards.com. That way it's private, and its customizable, and everyone that is registered can post. Just a thought :)
from nicolerenee :
WHERE would you ever find the oppurtunity to work for that kind of company? That is SO cool!!!
from ifiweep :
If you download free songs, try Limewire. It's my favorite. The other thing that works great for me: It just so happens that my favorite preacher (Bob Coy) has a podcast, and I think it updates daily. So, every morning, I upload the new sermon into my iPod and work out listening to that. He is funny and heartening to listen to. The sermons are usually 20-25 minutes and I either listen to two of them, or listen to music the second portion of exercise. Pretty great. The only time I have to exercise is during my son's nap, which luckily is usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours long so I have time for it. iPods are great, but they do get lose their shine over time. :o)
from requiel :
Woman, you are a twig, how much skinner can you get!! Hee. Have fun with the ipod. Itunes sucks the life out of me.
from nmnohr :
I absolutely adore that baby blanket you made! And the tutu is to die for. She looks adorable in it! And my birthday is coming up, and I just told Aaric that I desparately want an Ipod. I want it now though, because I'm trying to get my workout mode back........it's coming slowly but surely!!
from princessreva :
Gah, I WISH i could pump instead. But she's also refusing my breastmilk as well. My mom has an interesting theory about the stress my body is going through is making the breastmilk somehow less desirable to her. She loves the formula though. Well, at least she's happy. Sometimes!
from linz01 :
Thanks libbyo for the jewelry replacement ideawhy didnt I think of that before? Im still in training I guess :-) Have a great day!
from erlenweg6 :
LOL! That is just too cute! Honestly, you can't possibly keep a straight face very long around those munchkins of yours.
from linz01 :
Count me in! Ive also been debating when I should start working out againof coarse I have to send a search party out for my motivation (Im pretty sure its vacationing in Maui)anyways, I heard that the whole group discussion and support helpsso if you decide to do it Im there! :-)
from ifiweep :
Hi :o) I just wanted to comment on your post of a few days ago. Keep this in mind: your dreams and plans will still be there when your kids are grown, and you will be bored out of your mind once you have your house to yourself again. That will be the perfect time to pursue yourself! Also, this: Right now you are doing the most important job anyone could ever do in the whole world. The quality of the job you do will effect the future of the entire world. Honestly! Imagine how important it is to raise your little ones to be good people as adults. Imagine the difference this would make if EVERYONE put everything they had into making their kids the best adults they could be. The world would be entirely different! Parenting is the most undervalued job out there, easily. There's nothing better you could be doing than focusing on your kids. Every mother should do it. There are so many maladjusted whacked out people out there, and I bet a huge part of that equation is the lack of good parenting they got. And the key to good parenting is love. :o) Besides, your kids are not only beautiful, but they are sweet AND funny! What more of a dream could you have?
from tequilamonky :
Just wanted to say well done you for being so motivated! Good luck with your group and getting fit! I've got the opposite problem with my weight at the moment so won't be joining you, but I will use your motivation to inspire me as my resolution this year is to learn to drive.
from ldschick :
I'm totally in. I want to lose 10 pounds!
from erlenweg6 :
haha! SO cute!
from mirik :
hey no hate mail here! I actually work outside of home but I'm lucky to haev my dad (loving grandpa) babysit my 2 year old son. I think I'd go to tally insane if I had to be a SAHM. I totally understand the frustration! Hang in there! P.S. your kids are sooo cute! :)
from zkandaloza :
Hi There! I should read my guestbook more often. i'm such a doof. Anyways I didn't get a crib border thingy. I'll accept anything anyone has if you think I'll need it. Take care!
from requiel :
Hey! Sierra has that same outfit! Costco rocks!!!
from manda-d :
I know exactly how you feel.
from nicolerenee :
Oh! I was just thinking about this last night!! I am SO with you...
from princessreva :
aMEN sistah!!!! No hate here, nothing but love on thst - it's just so not what I expected to be doing with my life, and heaven knows I never prepared for it, hence the fact that Jared has to cook because I don't know HOW. I wish my single self could have known that I would indeed meet the love of my life, so as to make sure that I spent a little less time worrying about it all. Oh, I enjoyed my single life and I'm glad I did, but holy moley, some days I wish I'd had just a leeeeeddle bit more. So what do you still dream about doing? I'd love to know, being the voyer that I am;)
from ldschick :
She looks JUST like you :-)
from princessreva :
holy crap you make attractive humans!!! (she looks so much like you though, that's why;)
from nicolerenee :
AWW! She is SO darling!!
from requiel :
I hear ya. It's so hard when the season is over. January is the worst month of the year.
from manda-d :
Oh girl! I can't wait to get my tree down!
from erlenweg6 :
Merry Christmas, Liz! I love your holiday traditions and it's awesomethat you keep the "reason for the season" focused on the Savior (and are teaching your children to do the same.) My teenage son just told me that it wouldn't feel like Christmas if we didn't go to the annual Christmas Eve celebration at church. Have a WONDERFUL holiday! And thanks for sharing your little ones with us. :-)

from erlenweg6 :
I'm not cooking this year, but I saved your yam dish recipe cuz it sounds SOOOO yummy! Your tree does look magical, and I love reading the kids stories. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
from maeveella :
Hey Liz, Been meaning to comment for a while now...this whole parenting and going back to work thing is definitely not for wimps. Your tree is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely going to copy and paste the recipes. I'm not the best cook in the world, but once I went on mat. leave I really dove into the whole stay at home mom thing and starting cooking half decent. Now Matt's kind of the chef again. Anywho...just love your little updates. Can't wait to hear about Katie's wedding. To end the novel...Happy bday to Syd (I believe she's a Nov. baby too?). Lots of love, Susan
from requiel :
The tree is gorgeous! The kids comments are so precious.
from nicolerenee :
Oh MAN..my eyebrows get SOOOOO burnt red, it is not even funny. I think I will share a picture with you the next time I get them done. I feel your pain. Literally. And, PS...I'm SO jealous...how much I would love to do some ME shopping....
from tailbonelust :
Oh man, that's horrible! My tailbone hurts very rarely now-- maybe once a month or so. When it does, it just feels like a minor bruise.
from requiel :
Wow, that sucks so bad! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. *note to self, never have tailbone removed* Isn't it funny how guys just aren't that sympathetic. They can have the exact same thing you just had and somehow theirs is always worse and they are suffering way more than you did. *eye rolling* Guys just aren't good at pain or watching someone they love be in pain. I'm glad you have recovered.
from princessreva :
holy crap!! I wanna poke him for you!! This is why people shouldn't snowboard!(i kust say this cuz they always cut me off - or hit you! gahh) Dave you wonderful man, this is for you: POOOOOKEEEE!!!

Wow - your kids are adorable and how quickly they have grown! Very sweet.
from tequilamonky :
Urgh we could be snot-filled cyber-twins at the minute I'm sat here with unwashed hair, in my pajamas, with tissues up my nose while the kids occupy themelves with Little Einsteins. Love this note feature on your diary by the way, only it wouldn't work for me...how do I get one on my page?
from requiel :
I'm in South Jordan! Bring em over we will have a great time!

Go get some Sudafed! Not the new kind, the older stuff. You need the kind that has pseudoephedrine in it. You have to ask the pharmacist for the good stuff behind the counter. It totally works! I hope you feel better. Did you get the e-mail I sent you?

That is the cutest story ever (not sure if my note went through before when I tried to leave it!) But that story about your son is absolutely hillarious, and you really should keep that picture for his wedding day!

Hey Liz, Just checking out your diary...do that periodically and noticed you updated. I can't believe you moved. So I think I need a new address. I can redo your layout for you! I made it so long ago...then I stole it for my blog! Check it out...www.shanni.org/blog =)
from princessreva :
ahhhh!! all these entries, you are spoiling me!! So glad things are loverly, for you, your brood, and the fun weddingness, that's so wonderful for Katie!! I'm seriously jealous about the fall thing though... I'm sweating my brains out here, missing fall and Halloween and all the funness. Now if only the baby will GET OUT of me!!
from nicolerenee :
First of all...glad to see you back...and 2 entries so close together! Second of all, Dave will get over it. And those interent companies are quite shady sometimes...you should call again, and tell them that if there is anything on your order that you didn't want, you shouldn't have to pay for it! Then call them again in the morning to remind them. Hope it goes ok for you!
from twiggle :
Hey Liz! It's Shannon. I'm glad to see you still write here sometimes. Guess what? I'm having a baby in March!
from nicolerenee :
Hey there. I still read. I keep you, just in case you decide to grace us with your lovely presence again. Miss you lots!!
from princessreva :
Wo!! What a surprise! I have miiiisssseeedddd you! I'm so sorry about your grandma - but it really is a blessing sometimes to come and spend time with the family when things like this happen, tis true. I understand the intrest waning part - and if you decide to close up shop foreverrr know that I really do miss you and stop by and hope you've written - but it's okay - these things are hard to keep up. Just stop by my place every once in a while and let me know how you're doing? Mwha!!!
from nmnohr :
I'm still reading! I hope you stick around. I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I can't believe how old your kids are already! It's amazing how quickly the time passes. Hapy Belated Mother's Day!

09/20: I'm sorry you guys were/are feeling so yucky! I hear you on the losing weight issue - I've got 16 pounds of pregnancy weight (I gained 32) to lose. I'm not so much worried about the weight after that as long as I've got more lean muscle built up. My triceps and abs need to go back to the way they were! LOL xoxo
from princessreva :
so glad you're back! so worried that you might not be all too healthy! so glad Dave is such a sweetie:) thanks for getting back all safe and sound!
from ldschick :
Guess what? I'm coming to Utah! I'm so excited! had to let you know cause well you're canadian too. I better bring kit kats!
from rosarybeads :
08/12: I'm glad you're having a good time with your family, even though you miss Dave. Have you tried Mylicon drops for Blake's gassiness? They always did the trick w/ Katie and Anna. And YAY for you - only 4 more pounds to go! Gawd, I sincerely hope I have as much success as you have had in that department! xoxo
from rosarybeads :
08/07: I emailed you! :) Also, I so know how you feel about flying - I flew from CA to SC when Anna was 2 1/2 mos. old - so I know how you feel! (note: never fly southwest airlines - blech!) I bet your family is SO excited to see you and Blake - have fun! xoxo
from rosarybeads :
08/01:AW to Dave. How sweet is that. I hope I can shrink down as fast as you have been! I'm getting the W.P. tapes too :) I hope that nothing serious is wrong with the little one's leg. I'm a paranoid mama, so I'd be doing the same as you. When I was breastfeeding Anna, anytime I had ANYthing with chocolate or broccoli in it, she got colicky. I know how frustrating that can be. And remember, you're doing a GREAT job! :) xoxo
from rosarybeads :
07/16: Happy early birthday! Don't get yourself down about the breastfeeding; you're doing a great job. Reading your last entry reminds me so much of my first time experiences as a mother. You're doing wonderfully. Don't let anyone tell you different. :) xoxo

Hey, I am sticking with my family doc as well. Many benefits. I also have the Avent pump, You only have to pump it once or twice to get the flow going! So it shouldn't hurt that bad once your milk comes in! But please let me know how you like it and how it works. As for the heartburn, I guess the heartburn isn't as bad as teh reflux. I can't eat anything! I read your entry about how bad it was the other day and that's what's going on here too, all the time. Tums don't work for me anymore! :( I want to have my baby now!! (Yes, I am whining.) :)
from judybean :
Your boss just finds you irreplaceable!! (I hope it didn't show up in your gbook too... it said it didn't work for me but you never know about those ol guestbooks...). You're just too good at what you do and make all other candidates look paltry in comparison!!
from pazzobello :
Thank-you for your kind note. Please except my sincerest appologies for my harshness. It's no excuse, but I'm going to chalk the whole thing up to crazy pregnancy hormones. All I'm feeling these days is bliss. I'm paying for my preaching now, because my Lucy is too little to fit into the diapers I bought her - so we're using disposables until she grows bigger. Just you wait until you're holding that little one in your arms, Lizzy - it's an overwhelming feeling of love I can't begin to explain. Happy Mother's Day! -Erica
from pregornot :
*hugs* back and wishes for sleep!!! And comfort!
from libbyo :
Believe it or not, a laundromat would cost about $7.50/load. The cheapes one I have found around here is $1.50 a load. The dryers always have to be run twice to get things dry. That means that it would cost me $15.00 a week to go only twice. I can get a weeks worth of diapers for less than that right now at Costco!
from pazzobello :
There are definately no hard feelings on my end. I have enjoyed the debate. Sometimes it feels good to take a strong stand on something. I don't often do that. I do see your reasons as valid, the issue about having to go to a laundromat is one I will have to consider in more depth. I do agree that spending a few hours in a laundromat several times a week would really suck - but as far as it costing as much as using disposables, I disagree. When I said "someone like you" I meant, someone who is planning to be a stay-at-home Mom, and is somewhat strapped financially. I should've been more clear on that.
from libbyo :
by the way, for future reference, the phrase "someone like you" often does not have good connotations. I do not feel that I am a bad person who has made a bad choice, I have chosen a path that makes the most sense for me at this time in my life. Thanks!
from libbyo :
This is the last note I am going to leave on the subject. I have considered my choices, and frankly, to get right down to it, right now cloth is not an option, perhaps in the future it will be, but at the moment, it isn't. I appreciate your opinions, I have heard those arguments many times before and yes, I read your entry in its entirety. One day, when I have access to a washer and dryer or even the option of purchasing my own, I will consider cloth much more seriously. I took no personal offense whatsoever to your entry and replied more to help you understand that for me, it wasn't as much of an option-since you basically made it clear that you think it is idiodic not too - I however, also understand that different people have different circumstances and everyone can't be grouped into one big category. What I did take some offense to, was your response in my guestbook, I felt like you weren't even really listening to the reasons WHY cloth isn't a reasonable option for me at this time. Anyway, I hope there are not hard feelings. I don't much like to debate, especially since I feel that at this point in our lives, the only thing that can cause people to change their opinions is a desire to, and I tend to take things personally that maybe weren't meant to so much so.
from pazzobello :
I chose my car because it's one of the most environmentally friendly ones made, when everyone else in the world drives an SUV. My husband and I car-pool to work. I recycle EVERYTHING, and motivated my workplace to start recycling when I began working here. I do everything I can think of to make a difference for our environment - that is why I feel obligated to voice this opinion so strongly. Usually I am a very open-minded individual, and I love to listen to both sides of the story. I often have trouble picking a side because I can put myself in other people's shoes so well. But, now that I am bringing a child into this world, my motivations have been multiplied 100-fold. I want to make this world a better place for her, in any way that I can. Believe me, my family hears about it as well! I think maybe you took my entry too personally. I am not trying to judge you - I am simply debating my side. You were one of the first people to reply to my entry, so you just happen to be the one now involved in the debate. Your reply was so quick, in fact, that I have to wonder if you even read the entry in it's entirety. I worry that a person who has already made the choice to use disposable diapers will look at that heading and skip right over it, assuming they've heard all the arguments on the issue. I feel I have some fresh ideas that I haven't read anywhere else, and my hope is that one of them will be the trigger of doubt that will make someone like you re-consider her choices.
from libbyo :
Does that mean you are going to stop driving your car and walk or take a bus everywhere? That is a major environmental issue too... I think if you are planning on setting the example, why only do a half job? No, I don't have washer dryer hookups, No, I wouldn't save enough money to buy them anyway if I have to pay $10 a week to go to a laudromat. I highly doubt you would want to sit in one for three hours a few times a week with your baby either. My point is that you don't know, or understand all of my circumstances, so to be so harsh in your citicism, is unfair. Does your entire family use cloth diapers? Perhaps your arguments would be better suited to them.
from pazzobello :
I expected your response to be defensive, and maybe I wanted that. You're one of the people who's mind I had hoped to change. I do appreciate that you've made a fairly educated decision. My biggest beef is with people that make the choice, solely on the issue of convenience, without researching any alternate methods. The fact that you don't have your own washer and dryer does make things more difficult for you. It would be slightly more inconvenient for you. But, truthfully, the money you would save in six months to a year would allow you to purchase your own washer and dryer (although, I'm sure you will say you don't have hookups where you live, so this might not make a difference). Your first note listed several reasons why cloth diapering isn't for you, but you neglected to mention anything about the environment and, in my book, that is the number one reason to consider it. You mention water, but as I said, that is a renewable resource, and quite frankly, I'd rather spend the money purifying our water, than in hauling garbage to the North Pole to bury it - which is what is now being considered, because our landfills are growing at a rate that we can't keep up with. You also say that there are no right and wrong decisions in this type of debate, but in my opinion there is. The effects of disposable diapering that involve your baby and your financial situation are most definately your choice, and affect no one but you and your family. But our Earth is not being taken care of - and the people on it are going to have to realize that some drastic changes are going to have to be made if we want our children and grandchildren to enjoy what it has to offer in the years to come. Our society ranks convenience above all else, and in my opinion that is something that we have to re-evaluate. We need to teach our children by example, or their future is most definately at risk.
from judybean :
I always have to resolve issues too. It bugs me not too. ANd.. I too always envision some grisly demise befalling one of us if we don't resolve our issues. but it will all work out fine... don't worry too much!
from pazzobello :
Those people at the hospital sound like real idiots! How could they not know about tours of the maternity ward?? That is so odd. I feel for you, Libbyo. So, did the massage help your back any? I'm going in tonight and I hope it's not a waste of money.

from pazzobello :
I know what you mean about the beer-gut thing. I just want to look undoubtably PREGNANT already!! And the clothes - what a pain. Can't wear my regular pants, can't wear my maternity pants. I have to buy these in-between things that will just have to go in the garbage after the baby is born!!
from pazzobello :
Hmmm - whadda ya think, Libbyo - could it be TWINS??
from pazzobello :
ps- I had to ask the maintenence people at Diaryland to remove my survey. For some reason that isn't an option just on your own. Strange. You'd think they'd WANT people to close surveys off sometimes, instead of taking up all that space, but who knows?
from pazzobello :
Thanks Libbyo - Don't worry about being too harsh on my survey. I agree that honesty is important. I just decided that I couldn't handle it. Hope all is well with you and your hubby and baby!! Pazzobello
from catsnapples :
Hmmm....well, you aren't really suppose to figure stuff like that out. But I guess on occasion we will end up writing about similar things just because ...you know. I hope you will still be my friend
from ishouldsleep :
wow, I am madly in love with your layout. Your diary's interesting, but the initial thing that kept me from skipping over it was your layout. that picture is *amazing*...that isn't you, is it?
from pazzobello :
Ooooo - I am so ADDICTED to "Trading Spaces"! I must've watched 5 episodes of it this weekend. They have a new one... "Trading Spaces, They Hated It". Such good stuff, I tell ya. Glad to hear you haven't felt sick at all. I hope you sail through the pregnancy without so much as a gag!
from doombilly :
gosh oh golly...blushes...thanks ma'am. I didn't realize anyone was reading this stuff.
from pazzobello :
Hi Libbyo - I was thinking of adding your journal to my favorites. Let me know if that's okay with you. I'm really enjoying reading about your life. It seems to parallel mine in a lot of ways. Ciao-pazzobello
from catsnapples :
They magically appear! I have bben where you are at. The prospects of no income, baby on the way, moving. All I can say is, I got to the end of the road before I could BLINK! Today in the mail I got my last missionay's flight plans home.. .mixed feelings.

from idlejewels :
Try to relax( i know its hard) but dont jump to any conclusions.. wait until you see your doctor... sometimes we try to diagnose ourselves if we always do that, i tell ya.. i would of had about 5 illnesses already!!!

That was such an awesome entry about your first anniversary...what a beautiful, wonderful way to celebrate a year of marriage...snuggling, and cuddling, and WOW, what an awesome entry...you have a great guy...
from sageface :
hey, its sage. remember me? i was just wondering if you could help me out with making my layout look better now that it can't have an image. if not, no worries. you've already helped me out a ton, but if you can, let me know. thanks! p.s. im back at byu for another year!
from lovingmusic :
Hey hun, great entry today, I imagine a hard one to write, that kind of stuff is so hard to look back on. It's incredible how much impact one moment, one scene in your life can have. It can touch you or hurt you so deeply. You still have trust issues to this day, and you have obviously moved on...So, all I can say is, that guy is a jerk, and from what I hear, there are better guys out there... I hope you have, or find a great one! Love, Winnie P.S....It was good that you said "I love you" in your entry, it's a step...oh and by the way, I love you too! Hee hee, Have a great day
from indie-anna :

from mirik :
Hi Liz, Read ur diary with interest - thanks for stopping by and reading mine. I actually think you're a good writer and I'm glad you're so happy to be married. I'm happy too :) Though, aren't you sick yet of poeple who constantly ask you "so, how's married life?" Anyway.. just wanted to say hi ;)
from princessreva :
don't even think it!! your "dull" is my daily treasure! I just love your site! the new layout isn't as romantic, but a fine exploit. I do like the romantic tho...
from princessreva :
grrrrrr... male oppressors... I don't what this entails, but I do know hot fudge at a time like this is a tax write off:)
from indie-anna :

from paley :
Hi there, I came to your website from eryn's diary. I love the way you wrote about love, marriage, and how some of the things struck me because we shared the similar ideas. I want to invite you to come read my diary, if you would like. I would need to give you a password though. Drop me a note so that I can email a password to you. I'm sure I'll be coming back often to read your diary. Take care with lots of love. :)
from steviemarie :
Hello again, I was thinking that maybe you can take the gray out of the background then or add three little light blue stars to the side in a triangle background, something about it just seems a little too gray- what do you thinnk? Thanks for the help! -Stevie
from coolcatc :
At least I'm not pregnant... Ithink there was a weird vibe last night. And the full moon isn't even here yet. C
from coolcatc :
Cool entry. Good luck on your diet, I'm on the gym-diet thing too. Your message about the timbits is disturbing, I just learned of the story of Tim Horton's on a CBC special, his death and how everyone took advantage of him a made millions of $$$$. Read my entry today. I entered an interesting story! C...
from barenaked500 :
I *LOVE* this layout. The picture is so cute, nice and spring-y!
from barenaked500 :
You lived in the Hamptons for a summer? I didn't know that! I live in Riverhead...if you remember where that is. ;o)
from novelneville :
My music taste is possibly my one saving grace. My mates who have a band actually look up to me when it comes to music, which i find slightly strange.
from novelneville :
OLP!! how did we not get onto that subject when i was talking to you? even when i asked what music people liked...
from hermitage :
Yay for Canada!
from barenaked500 :
boy would i like to get my hands on "ed"
from michime :
It's obvious that "ed" didn't know who he was messing with. Don't worry liz, I never thought that you were stupid, especially for your religion. Infact you are smarter beacause of it. See you Tomorrow?
from ant1134 :
its been along time since i talked with you, but i am saying hello, and you are not forgotten. hope all is going well, and happy st. patty's day!
from barenaked500 :
Hey Liz. Phew....i just finished reading ALL of your entries and it only took me 4 days! I love your diary, i luuuuuuuuuurve you...keep on writing! And i hope you are feeling better! ;o)
from joesimone :
Hey Liz. Thanks for the note. You sound really cool. I think it's funny that your Liz married to a Dave and I'm a Dave engaged to a Liza. Pretty similar names. HAHA but that's cool. Well Maybe you can give Liza some Ideas since you just went through the wedding thing last year. But I need to go so talk to you later.
