I also had a chance to check out your diary alittle and I feel so bad for your poor baby,but accidents are bound to happen,my son got jumped on my a dog when he was 3 and had the 2 bones in his forearm completely broken,I was standing right there and couldnt do a thing to prevent it. I think thats why kids bones are softer and actually harder to break then adults bones,I think god had that in mind when he made kids,there alittle more durable to withstand alittle rough and tumble!

Yay on the potty learning! OMG you are SO lucky with that. When did you start Tiernan? I'm thinking of starting to encourage Emmy in Dec @18 months. I am so overwhelmed by your entry. It could have been written by me. I was the same exact way after I had Maya and the way I feel now is not like that. PPD with her left me feeling like my life was just over. I was a mom and Tania vanished, never to be found again. I hated everyone and knew that was not how I truly felt beneath all of the other emotions. I also felt so trapped that I wanted out. Then I felt like a horrible person for being so thankless. Now I feel different. Like I'm struggling to find myself again and struggling to convince everyone around me to give me some time to do that. 3 kids just seems so much harder than 2 did. I cannot get things done with 2 babies both crying, let alone take time for me. Yet I need that time. ((((Hugs))))

Actually, the Chinese place is a little place. There was 8 tables in the place. And you get your tea served to you first. It's called Hong Hing Company, it's on Ellice. As for the Italian Restaurant, I used to see that place every day and always wondered if it was good. I haven't known anyone who has eaten there, so thank you. S, has sold Chocolate, and is now selling Pizza, Cheesecake and Cookie Dough. And also Regal. I can't believe what the kids sell these days lol. I don't ever remember doing this when I was in school.

I agree w/ you; find yourself before you lose yourself. I didn't have the option of being "Mama" & "Wife" 24/7; I was a military wife & remained a fulltime college student w/ Katie and Anna. ryan was stationed in Germany, and we stayed in CA because the Army considered me an EFP. (no medical care for my tumor issues in Germany, basically) So I was Mollie, the studentwifemother. To this day, I still have ONE fellow-mother friend. All my other girlfriends are single, or married with no plans of children. When your life is like that, you don't fit into the stereotypical Mommy mold. There's no room for it in your life. I think taking time for JUST you is the best thing you can do when you're stressed. Have fun at the gym! xoxo

Poor baby. If he starts coughing alot try putting something beneath his matress to elevate his head. If he is actually coughing stuff up try the Johnson's vapor(?) kiddie bath, green bottle. It'll completely open him up and he may cough up alot at first but then it'll be out.Push liquids even in small sips. A 9 pound baby needs 14oz of fluid in 24 hours to stay hydrated so you can do the math on that to make sure he's getting enough. Hugs.

09/27: ((hugs)) I so know how you feel - that's how it was for the first 2 weeks after Alex was born. Greg didn't even realize how bad it was, he kept telling everyone how great our marriage was, how much he loved us, etc. and I was like, "Um. Who? What?". I know it's difficult to be vulnerable (I hate it too, I'm all about doing things on my own) but you should TRY to talk to Kyle. Write it down and read what you've written to him. It helps SO much, because sometimes people have no idea how bad/good/mediocre things are until you verbalize it. xoxo

But, I didn't have hardwood floors in CA (wall to wall carpet - thank you Jesus!), so I can't imagine how difficult that was to clean up. Do they sell Burt's Bees baby products out there? 08/26: Yay for gym memberships! I know just how excited you are. :) One major thing I miss about where I used to live is 24 Fitness (my old gym). They had child care! *sniff* However, Greg and I have concocted a plan to get my body back to pre-baby status once I get the 6-week checkup green light. And the councilling I went to the doctor and asked him if he could refer me to someone. He did he sent me to a man on Pembina and this man talks to you and decides if you need further help. He then refered me to Mental Health, unfortunatly there is a 3 month waiting list to get into see someone there. Or else you can try calling Klinic on Portage, they might know who you can call too. I have a small cross on my right shoulder, it was $75, I don't have a picture but I can look, it took about 20 minutes to do the whole thing, and it wasn't that bad - pain wise. I thought I would die (scared of needles..etc.) but it was okay, at the worst I was a bit lightheaded but that ended quickly. For some reason that always happens to me when I'm at the doctor or doing needle-y things. I forget what else you asked? :) I wanna get another one though...on my foot. Heh. Yay for tattoos!

it's wonderful to hear mummies want to do things naturally! i don't know how much i wrote about eva's expectations for childbirth, but she really wanted to do everything naturally. she didn't want to be on her back, she didn't want to be induced, she didn't want to have drugs... and in her situation, asher wasn't even distressed at all! they just broke her water because she wasn't dilated enough. then, she still wasn't dilatin enough for them (and they wouldn't let her walk around), so in went the pitocin! and then the epidural! and finally came the c-section. it broke my heart to see her all doped up and asher being going through everything that she had wanted so badly to avoid. so, even though i'm not a mom, i can *kind of* understand where you're coming from. best of luck to you, honey... you can handle anything the labor gods might throw your way. and again, more power to you, mama! *grins*

I felt that way about last winter. The dread I had was almost overwhelming at times .. but nothing happened. Maybe the feeling you have is just there to serve the purpose of making you more aware .. a gut instinct to tell you to just watch out a little. That's what I think mine was about. I swear though, so many times when something bad could have happened, it was like I had angels looking out for me. I was very 'in touch' with that side of things .. more so than usual, last year. update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
