Hey, sorry I haven't responded, I always forget to check my notes. The reason they hadn't gone through yet is because I had to get the NARAL account set up and was waiting out the red tape, and the reason your presents aren't to you yet is because I am a horrible slacker who avoids the post office like the plague. I will send them on Saturday worst case scenario, I promise. I deposited your check for the chocolates the day before yesterday and I've misplaced somewhere on my junk-heap of a desk your check for the shirt - it was probably seperated from the stack somehow and thrown away in a mad cleaning spree. There are a lot of ways we can handle that...You can send me another or paypal the money, or if you are ginormously pissed off at the way I am so unprofessional (which I deserve), I'll cover it myself. Whatever you choose, the stuff is going out on Saturday. Sorry about all that! I didn't realize it would be such an ordeal!

My college proxy server always wants me to give my library card number and password so I can view your design, I think that's the only way I'll be able to see it.... maybe I will have to do that, haha. I am digging on your entries lately, have you noticed the weight watchers commericals where the "friends" are always commenting on the food their friends are eating? Like 'oh, you're really blowing the diet today' or 'are you sure you should be hogging out like that?' What I'm wondering is when did it all-of-a-sudden became okay to be so brazen towards your husband/wife/friend/co-worker's choice of food? I mean, who gave you the right to be telling Joe he shouldn't be eating a piece of pizza? Somehow you just totally de-stressed me. Keep on keepin' on, and good luck out there. :)

I've got some rather angry responses, so yours, though i didn't agree with all of it, was a real relief. Thank you for that. Incidentally, "straight and proud" /did/ offend some people. I do agree that gay people are discriminated against... i wasn't trying to say they weren't, but to my chagrin, i seem to have phrased it all very poorly. And no, i definitely don't think feminism is at all a thing of the past - in fact, i mentioned it in my latest entry, right before i got your note :D
