Hello and thanks for writing but can I first just say, Susan Cooper, Susan Cooper, Susan Cooper???? I've read The Dark Is Rising sequence a number of times and even got a letter from her in response to a fan letter I sent many years ago. Gimme an L, gimme an O, gimme a V, gimme an E. Her. Okay, so just to continue, thank you for your lovely note. I'll be visiting you here and/or on your blogspot. By the way, what's the difference between a blog and a journal? Does it have to have comment things to be a blog?

i never understood the phrase "repeating on me", as in "the guacamole is repeating on me". it was quite overused in the golden girls and i remember asking my mom what it meant (she was almost in tears with laughter) and she said she had no idea. i think it has something to do with poo, but that's only speculation.

#1. I am so with you on the box of puppies in the road-thing... I have no idea where I got it, but it must be some type of urban myth for us both to have the same thoughts. #2. Thongs. I tried to embrace them, but have found that brazillian cut is sooooo much more comfy and makes my ass look fabu. My fave are from VS and they are made of a type of netting with lace trim, super retro and sexy. :) #3. Retail Chicken...anytime...bring it on. ha ha ha ha.

"every increment of time that passes still feels like a victory" - VERY eloquently said. Some people use a cliche like "taking it day by day" but you've really summed it up in a fresh way. Stay strong - I'm a fairly recent reader so I'm not all that familiar with your situation, but in a lot of ways it sounds like something I went through about a year and a half ago....and it wasn't until I started taking an interest in other people that I started getting over him.
