from no-map :
What is your user name on the new writting centre?? Id love to become a loyal reader!! Thank you sooo much for your comment.. it was more than sweet and it really made me smile!! So kind of you!! You seem lovely.. and interesting.. cant wait to read your stuff!! xxx
from angel-like :
Thank you so much for your note! It's so nice when someone comes to you and thanks you for taking their survey - it doesn't happen much, so that was so sweet of you! :o)
from cacophic :
*joining in the happy dance with mightymaeve* I know, can you believe it! My fiance didn't say much, but the look on his face was worth a million bucks. Thanks for your nice comments.
from cacophic :
hey there, not sure if you remember me. But, guess what? (drumroll, please!) I FOUND MY RING!!! Can you believe it? I am so happy, and corny too, cause I started crying when I found it. It was in a cupboard under a mug. Yay!
from ann-warey :
Thank you for the wonderful wonderful compliment! You made my day. The stories are sometimes very vague, and well... mum's the word on their meaning. They're completely open to interpretation. :) Thanks again, and I enjoyed your survey. Keep writing!
from super-suzan :
I think you would like the series His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. It's about Lyra who is 12 (and grows older through the books) and really twists your perspective about religion, God, etc. Check that out. Rock on.
from scumthing :
MM sounds really cute!!
from clubbehavior :
Thank you. Geez, people are so full of compliments to me these days. :)
from scumthing :
heya! about the cucumber frosting thing--Last year I always used to bring a cucumber and a container of chocolate frosting to eat at lunch and my friends were really grossed out that I ate it like that, so they started calling it that to exaggerate the grossness i guess, and i always put that on profiles now cuz its funny cuz usually ppl are all like ewww!! but now that u mention it, i should probably making some real cuc frosting! It might be cooncat
from scumthing :
heyness! lol, thanks for reading my diary!!Jenn and Jose are like the only ppl who do, so it is kewlishness. your diary is really interesting!
from mysdevious :
Hello, and thanks for stopping by my diary. Your survey wasnt one of the ones I laughed at. I did have fun taking it and thinking back upon things. Im really looking foward to going to Japan for the change of things. The little one is coming with me as well. Oh and by the way, I enjoyed reading your diary just as much as your survey.
from violetwoman :
hello again! glad you like what you've read so far! :)
from violetwoman :
Ah, my survey probably didn't convey how paranoid I am! After a couple weird incidents here at d-land, I got all alarmed. If you would like to read more entries, the username is 'me' and the password is 'gor'. Only my current five entries are available at any one time as in another fit of paranoia I deleted my archive links. It's not easy being me.....sigh. Also, I am going to add you to my favorites, hope you don't mind! Have a good day!
from violetwoman :
Hello Maeve, thank you for your note. Just wondering, however, how you've been reading my diary as I do have it locked. Did someone give you the password? Or did you just take my surveys at this point? I am just curious as I always wondered how well the lock feature worked. And I know how you feel about the cat sitting on the computer; it happens all the time to me, too!
from red-savannah :
Hey sweetness! Good luck at your new job-you'll have so much fun! :)
from veryraven :
Goodness, I just now made it online for the first time today and discovered your note. I'll assume you've already been to the library, lol. I hope you found some good ones by Hamilton..she has two series, the Anita Blake series, then the faerie series..both are awesome and it would help to start with the first book, though with the way she writes if you happen to skip one, you won't be lost (though it's a shame to miss one!!) So try to read them in order if you can :) And be prepared to get lost in the world of her imagination! And thank you for the kind words about my poetry, 'Precious Child' is just one of the few I wrote for my four year old daughter and I'm forced to read them to her before bed time every night, lol. She loves the fact that I have written some for her :) Have a good night :)
from veryraven :
Hello! Sorry to barge in like this since you don't know me but I caught one of your notes to Grimm and felt the need to put my two cents worth in ;)You asked a question about the Anita Blake books--if you haven't already then definitely grab anything you can find by Laurell K. Hamilton, the woman is an absolute genius. You won't be disappointed!
from grimm0826 :
Did you know that I already worship you just a little bit? Well...now you do! :-)
from muxxie :
I read your blog link about me and i am quite pleasently surprised! flattered even as I don't find too many people plugging me yet so thanks very much.
from saraniana :
thanks! weirnessationness is just one of my weird words
from grimm0826 :
Nope, we never get over self-obsession. Maybe that's a good thing! Keep lots of frozen bagels on hand, and be ready to give me lots of advice after May 10!!! (I'm already getting nervous)
from grym-r3ap3r :
Nope! Not a single kiss yet. And I love my quizzes, too =P. Annnd...Grym is my nickname, and I like grim reapers so, I am grym-r3ap3r. xXx
from hillbillyhoe :
Hey, Thanks. I just read your note. I will hang on to the fact that i told him i loved him because i did so very much. Its hard, but ill pull threw it. Good luck.
from red-savannah :
That Hollywood Squares list is hysterical! I couldn't answer the phone at work (yeah!) because I was laughing too hard. Thanks!
from grimm0826 :
Oh, and I think the word I wanted down there was 'collaboration'.
from grimm0826 :
I just found out that you took that goofy little survey of mine! I loved the answers...especially considering that your answers actually seemed well-thought-out, and most people who take it seem to be illiterate. The Brat Prince is amused!!! :-)
from bettyalready :
CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!! Love the costumes!!!!!!! Baby's are so cute!!! I know how you feel as I went back to work when Danielle was 7 WEEKS OLD! I took her to an at home caregiver and then when I got home, I spent a lot of time with her. She was either with Diane (caregiver) or me or her daddy. The book talks about different things parents do, like one mom has her child in daycare and then spends a lot of time with her. The big thing about what I'm reading is not to let guilt lead your parenting and I agree with that. I don't know if Amazon ships to canada...it's a newer book so ask the local library to order it. I couldn't find it on www.half.com, but you might check there every so often.
from red-savannah :
Well, when you've got red hair, no money or desire to make a costume, and a closet full of retro-thrift store clothes, it sort of creates itself! Bill isn't gonna be Ricky, though. He's going to be-DUFF MAN- from the Simpsons!! Oh, I cannot wait to see that! Hee!!
from mightymaeve :
parents, eh? can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em! that comment you made about the obligatory "i still want a chance to stick my penis in you...simple mind, etc" emailing type of friend..that just cracked me up. i'm still making muffled hehaw sounds. you call it like it is, baby. and so poignantly, too, i might add!
from mightymaeve :
lucille ball! how fun! are you gonna play her personality too? Any particular reason for your choice?
from red-savannah :
Glad you're back!!! It's funny with that article, because I'm the older child, and my younger sister is the 'high maintenance' one-and still my parents push and criticize me and fawn over her...bleh, whatever. Oh, and in answer to your random thought-I'm going to my friend Ted's concert on Halloweed dressed as Lucille Ball!
from grimm0826 :
Good to see you back!!! Ok...get your published stories together. List them on a resume. Yep, just like applying for a job. Now, include copies. Yes, of all your stories. Send the published stories, as well as the new one you are submitting, to a publishing house. (The resume and the stories lend credibility to the talent of the artist.) Get published! Get a best-seller out there! Children's books count, too. Maybe someday you and I can do a corroboration. Is that the right word?
from grimm0826 :
Where are you? Are you okay?
from twomoms :
Hi! Thank you for the possitive remarks about the 'stinky dog confession'. I felt like I was out a bit far with that one, but I decided to stand by it and your comments made me glad I did. Oh, and I just did your 'Firsts' survey last night. It was fun to answer. Make another survey, ok? lol
from lermel :
hehehe cool thanks
from bettyalready :
And it's totally healthy to do things like that. For you to have your girlfriend's weekend thingy. You need that time apart. He does feel left out, and that was sort of like me...feeling left out and lonely. But that was me controling that. Does that make sense? It's not wierd for you to want to spend some a lone time with just the girls. It's hard to be alone, but a person can learn to enjoy the heck out of it once in a while.
from bettyalready :
Holy shit, are you and I married to the same person???? Oh my god. My spouse is very feminine. Gets "hurt". Eats comfort food. Feels left out. Shares his feelings. Loves me a lot. Thanks so much for your really nice words in my notes section. Makes me feel better about me! AND IT WAS A SANDRA BROWN book, I'm almost sure of it...the one I was thinking about and couldn't remember.
from red-savannah :
Thanks for the awesome note-it's cool to know there are kick-arse girls out there like you that appreciate the humor. You took what I thought was gonna be a bad day and made it great. Have a wonderful weekend, and hugs to you and your little cutie!
from kittydevious :
love the layout, it's very beautiful
from grimm0826 :
Why, thank you! For some reason, words are powerful things. Especially when there's true emotion behind them. That's how people make it onto my favorites list - their diaries are real. Glad the insurance info helped. Oh, and why don't we just write a NEW vampire series?!?
from grimm0826 :
Heh heh...good question!
from grimm0826 :
...ummmm..."came" through the blackout...get it? (wink wink)
from grimm0826 :
Tell Mikey's parents that, if they had homeowner's insurance, the insurance company will reimburse them for the spoiled frozen and refrigerated food. It's a little-known clause! Glad you came through the blackout okay...
from girlryanb :
Glad to find a sister-at-arms in the diaries. Rock on. Fab diary. Respecting the river of fierce femininity flowing here. Will definitely be back.
from grimm0826 :
I tend to like all fictional vampire portrayals...but I liked "Forever Knight" better than most! It did what a lot of vampire stories should, but don't - it gave details about Knight's past, as well as the pasts of other vampires in the series. I wish they still made it!
from red-savannah :
Awwww! Mini Maeve is too cute! She has the most beautiful blue eyes! No wonder she makes you so happy-she rocks! :-)
from grimm0826 :
I just read your note in my guestbook...I am honored! Flattery will get you everywhere! Seriously, thanks. I didn't know the Little Mermaid died in the original; I just knew about the real bargain she made - she got legs, but it would always be agony to walk. Kudos to another Fairy Tale lover!
from grimm0826 :
You got famous! Nice banner, by the way...mine are still really cartoonish. But then again, I'm not mighty...just grimm! :-)
from lealoo :
Hmmm, I did think of ONE slightly odd looking (and by that I mean she's not Brittany Spears material) actress. Joan Cusack. She's been in some pretty amusing roles. But it's real sad that I could only think of ONE.
from grimm0826 :
Oddly enough, my weight bench is in my basement. I don't obsess, but I can understand why people do...being almost 32 is enough to make me wish it was 22 again. And it's always me who got larger...not the jeans that shrank. I will shortly be adding you as a favorite...hope you don't mind. See you soon!
from red-savannah :
Helloooo Mighty Maeve! I've spent a good part of the morning reading your diary-I love it! I'm adding you as a favorite!
from insanegerbil :
