I suggest watching The Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel. The guy is extremely good at what he does and gives excellent insight into dog psychology. I wish there was such a thing as a cat whisperer.
from traveladdict :
Oh my god... You are still diarylanding! It's Connie, your old pal who designed the original template! You have to write me. I'm in Vancouver now and I think I am at a perfect junction to take a weird train trip down the coast. Are you still around, baby doll?!? I'm at snowpaz at gmail dot calmness.

We had a Jewish friend that lived with us for a little while and we celebrated Hannukah- I loved it. It made the holidays feel very well rounded for me. I especially liked the menorrah (I still have the one I bought) and the gifts for 8 days. I definitely understand getting weepy over the whole thing because 1. you're pregnant and 2. no matter how right it is for you to convert, it's difficult to give old traditions up.
from sidewaysrain :
congratulations! how wonderful - hope you are feeling better soon.

congratulations!

You did right to water them until water came out the bottoms and you should probably feel the soil daily and water them whenever the soil feels dry and/or the pot feels light. Also (and I hope I'm not being a total nudge here), I recommend moving the plant to the back of your house, because doesn't that get the afternoon sunshine? I think they'd be happier in afternoon sunshine. PS I'm going to give you our Southern Living Gardening book before we move, and I would've done it the last time we saw you, but Chris wanted to hold onto it a little while longer, just in case we had a pre-move gardening question/emergency.

hey- andy and i used zicam when we had our colds and i think it really helped as far as lessening our symptoms. you can get it at the drugstore.

I didn't know you were going to Asheville! I love that place, and I hope you have a great time!!
from scarlettkat :
Saw you like Reality Bites, and Moulin Rouge, I love em both! I know what you mean about the pain thing.. It's never there when you kinda need it to be, lol.
from tattoobelly :
Lost was a rerun, so it was on, but if your season pass has Tivo picking up only new episodes (which is what our season pass is doing), it wouldn't have recorded.
from aspertayme :
Hello, and thanks! I haven't updated the journal in quite a bit but production has been going along well and it's looking to be pretty good so far. Thanks for the note. --Asper Tayme

Hi!!! I was so glad to get your note!!! No...I haven't gotten married yet...I plan to be engaged in the not tooooo distant future since we kinda think we'll be getting married in about a year...but yes he is a FABULOUS guy and I love him so much and have been SOOO blessed. Now I am just living in sin...and it has been great so far. I don't know if I ever told you or if Kim ever told you how much I appreciated your kindness to me at Dan's 30th birthday. That was my first "trip out" after the split and I was so lost and kind of depressed...you very much helped me through that day...it meant so much to me...my little angel in disguise. I have been so happy to hear about your love and your BEAUTIFUL wedding which I saw pictures of...I was sooooo and am sooooooo happy for you. It was good hearing from you!!!! ~ Beth
from joleen :
Congratulations on everything, you look SO happy! :)
from filmpen :
Thanks for the warm welcome. I was excited to see the filmmakers' ring here, so you can imagine I was just as thankful to see that someone pays attention to these things also.
from joleen :
Thanks for the good wishes, you! I hope you and Non have a good day, and that you always find a way to combine your traditions into one season of love and happiness. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas. Peace.
from sidewaysrain :

Oh, it's not that I haven't found it...believe me, I'm head-over-heels nauseatingly in love with my boyfriend (we've been together a year and a half). But I don't believe there's "one person" you're meant to be with, and the fact that he and I have very different views on a lot of things that are important to me (namely, he's an atheist and I'm not) make me worry that our relationship won't work as a forever kind of thing. Non's diary entry just provided a catalyst for me to launch on a much-needed ramble. :) Thanks for the note!

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst. At least you don't have to be 20 and getting braces. I like complaining.
from shereen :
happy birthday! :)

miss jeanne! question! i assume you have gold membership, what with the survey-creation ability. now: are you able to upload your images diaryland gives you from another site? i mean, i know diaryland will give you image space for your diary, but say, if i were to have another site, could i grab the photos from there? i hope you understand. if not, breh to you. ha!
from janelleleo :
Thanx for the welcome note. It's nice to hear from other people interested in film. We seem to like alot of the same movies, too bad D-Land only allows 5 spaces for fave movies :( but, I guess that's life. What's it like living in LA, it must be nice. I'm trying to get an internship out there.
from jimmyusual :
Please keep in mind why you chose this career path. My friend Ed always wanted to be a cinematographer so he went to the Union and talked to the guys who had been doing that job for years. They told him the same thing, shoot anything and everything he can, even if it is for free. Keep shooting film at every opportunity. He has been in LA for about 7 years now, he works at a crappy film company for steady income and gets extra work on commercials to supplement his income. He also has been the cinematographer on a short film that was highly praised AND a low budget comedy that he is ashamed of (not really). He is very good and is getting better. This is the only job he ever really wanted to do. He is lucky, he knew early on what he wanted. I never really decided. If you have decided don't get discouraged, just talk to some people about it, do what you have to do to stay there a while longer and enjoy it.
from near-sighted :
an entry about food again! ha! okay, well, groceries. that's close enough. at any rate, i must comment on your last entry: you miss the girl you were three years ago, i adore the girl you are now. sniff. unfortunately, this damn industry boils down to networking and sometimes not knowledge. it's a shame because if i were still interested in the film/tv arena, i'd hire you IN A FLASH. that's true as true.
from near-sighted :
where can i find this test? your results seem to describe my situation, but i've had wonky reports from colour tests because i can never right decide which i like better. pass it to me and let's see how i goes.
from near-sighted :
why am i the only one signing? oh, i shall wait. soon throngs of signees will be clamouring at your doorstep! you should put your guestbook on your entry page! ...anyways, 1. high five, i'm vern as well! 2. for a person who doesn't have anything in the cupboard, you sure do talk about cooking a lot (cookies, chicken, jello). just an observation.
from near-sighted :
and another thing - I CAN'T STAND CHILDREN for the same reason. i'm not even sure about the marriage thing; i feel like i need to see more of the world, experience things before i have to "settle down" and look out for another person. i know that's pretty selfish, but the people i know with kids keep saying, "well, we can't just do X because of the kids" or "because i'm married". or, "we can't just take a day trip because it's too much hassle". ugh. maybe someday. for now, i just need a cookie.
from near-sighted :
i guess i'm supposed to tell you how cool you are. ha! speaking of numbers, 42 seems like a masculine number to me. but i guess it's only because that was michael j. fox's basketball jersey number in teen wolf. why i remember that, i do not know. ps. thanks for the link!
from minired :
apparently this is the place where people tell me how cool I am.
