i just realized you had edith piaf listed as some of your favourite music - i dressed up as her for a halloween party one time. (well, i had no costume and maddy's mom said i was dressed like her, which i thought was cool, so that's who i said i was.) but i had no idea that anyone else my age knew who she was.

My roommate last year was Chinese, and we had a wonderful time. You really learn a lot about culture and what it's like to grow up in an Asian family when you start bonding, and she tells you that her name is actually something very hard to pronounce and it means "earthquake." You'll like it, hon. I miss you.
