Melungeons are these mixed-up (hence melange) people in Appalachia who have "mysterious" roots. Most likely mixes of black, white, and Indian, but there is a distinct Mediteranean part too, maybe Turkey or Syria. There's a whole kind of Melungeon pride movement, as they were marginalized and looked down upon. It was a common insult in my high school to call someone a Melungeon to signify low-class, stupid, debased, etc. Much like hillbilly is used elsewhere I guess. It seems that everyone I know is fresh faced and problem free, so I never know who to ask about these things. I have heard good things about Cetaphil, so I must now try it. But what was not included in my entry were the following statistics: 4.5 hours and $220.00 (without exaggeration)! Ridiculous, no? As a rule, I have generally shied away from hairdressers, but my hair is so incredibly damaged that I don't trust my own skills anymore (after going from blonde to black to blond and now to brown). Clump problem: when drying the pasta post-rolling and cutting on the rack, you must keep all strands separate, not touching. A big old pain in the behind, yes, but no clumps. I would have told you last night as preventative but didn't notice due to stuffing my face full of squid.

If you put a bit of oil in your pot of boiling water when you make pasta, the clumping will reduce considerably. Just stir on occasion too. That should do it.
