| I'll have to check back to see if others post their life hacks. My household life hack is in regards to unclogging the sink and tub drains. All you need to do is dump a little scoop of lye down the drain, add a splash of water, and then leave it for a while. Come back with a boiling kettle to flush the works down. Of course, one needs to be careful with the lye, using gloves and safety glasses to prevent burns. The lye burns right through any hair clumps, which are the main source of clogs in my apartment because I have long hair. |
