Would you care to email me sometime? [email protected] (zero in there). I shy away from conversing through notes.
from lust- :
Don't mind at all. Have a lovely weekend..
from omfggwtf :
thank you for adding (: x
from college-kid :
Man, thanks for agreeing with me. I was starting to think maybe they were right and I was just overreacting... But 4 people have now confirmed my suspicions. She's just a bitch sometimes. lol
from college-kid :
Congrats! I agree, I just can't wait to get my associates and start working on classes that actually pertain to my career. But times being what they are, you definately need a degree to get a decent paying job. Even then, the jobs aren't a sure thing. It's all good, though, at least we know we wont be in college the rest of our lives.
from college-kid :
Well, I'm living at home so my diet doesn't consist entirely of Ramen... yet, anyways. School is going alright, but this past semester I had my first encounter with an arrogant prick of a professor-- I don't know if you've been reading, lol. I think it's kind of opened my eyes a little, though. In the spring I get my associates and then I'm transferring... I'm thinking I may take the summer off, though, I need a break. Yeah, college does suck, but sadly it's a necessary evil.
from college-kid :
All sound like legit reasons to me. How's your schooling coming along?
from college-kid :
Why'd you lock it?
from hadassah :
your password isn't working for some reason. Also I tried to add you to facebook but I couldn't find you. Mine is under hadassah cornish I believe.
from candoor :
intense... and the mystery of where the words end and life may begiun brings even more curiosity to the table... it this your new story, or the epilogue for the last?
from candoor :
many of your words are part of what i am sometimes trying to say at my anti-blog at blogspot... i don't go there often, just when i remember the futility of human communication at this point in human development... i linked you there (hope you don't mind)... if you want to see it's at http://antiblogestablishmentarianism.blogspot.com
from candoor :
do you have another person in your world who agrees with the content of your writing in the actualizing living of his or her life?... if not, you do now.
from hbaybee :
Well, your review is up. Be thankful that you didn't get Amanda, at least. -Hbaybee
from and-darling :
I was lucky-- my English teacher is a philosopher who finds beauty in most things. He loved my writing and was always so concerned about me... You know, the school I went to-- I think you'd of loved.
from and-darling :
Toni Morrison. Jim Morrison as in the lead singer of The Doors?-- I'd let him read poetry to me if he wasn't dead. And thank you... My English teachers both hated it and loved it. Hated, mostly because of the syntax. I like your writing quite a bit as well.
from and-darling :
I saw the name and said, "hey, I like that word". Quite literally. We studied some Plath poetry in my senior year-- ripped them into pieces, presented them, the whole shi-bang. Morrison is a good poet too.
from and-darling :
I never did like her poetry as much, though. The most vivid ones dealt with an orange... And then there's that one with the Helen reference.
from and-darling :
You probably already know this-- but Plath's novel "The Bell Jar" is thought to be a representation of her battle of self discovery which aided to her death. The book changed me too.
from anarchrist7 :
Wow. I think this would b my first direct communication with any1 here. So I'm a bit confused about what u were asking in the note u left. My email is [email protected] (with a zero). Hit me up, and we can find an easier way to talk. And for the record, I see ur sn as Oh..Meg...ahh. Something a person would use in bed haha. I dunno y.
from moedonna :
when i see the name 'ohmegah' the first thing i think of is someone saying 'ohmahgahd,' the second thing i think of is the name megan, the third thing i think of (after reading it twice) is omega. which is what i think you were going for in the first place.
from hadassah :
because your writing is incredible and you look so young.
from hadassah :
is that really you in the pic?
from tranntpigge :
i hope your writing goes well. my eating disorder destroyed my ability to write...i really miss it.
from tranntpigge :
i like the layout. i think the bold font looks nice on the red background, and i like the light contrast in the picture. i'm doing okay; i can't wait for school to finish so i'll have a little free time to rest and relax. hope you're okay too.
from hadassah :
Thanks my friend. Hope you are good.
from college-kid :
Mr. Ohmegah Sir: I wrote you an e-mail a few weeks back begging for an update, but you never wrote back-- figured you were busy. =) Life's been generally decent-- Although I no longer have my 4.0. Dagger to my heart. Anyways, this is rather long. E-mail was definately preferable. x) -College
from hadassah :
Thanks, my friend. I was wondering if I could get your password I still like to read you. Thanks H
from tranntpigge :
wow, that is really encouraging. i hope i can finish school someday, especially since my husband dropped out. it would be nice to have one good example for the kid.
from tranntpigge :
thank you. i appreciate it. the one amusing part of my life: the newest cashier at my work is stalking me. he follows me around and brings me cookies. and has introduced himself to me no less than five times. and hints (not very subtley) that he wants to take me out to dinner and then fuck the shit out of me everytime i see him. and when i ignore him, he babbles on about how pretty my earrings are and how amazing it is that i make jewelry, even though is obvious he really doesn't give a shit. oh, and the meatcutter was going to beat up a customer who verbally assaulted me. the seafood lead literally had to drag him back inside the prep room and attempt to calm him down. i don't know why the guy thought it was appropriate to call me an "illiterate prostitute" and tell me to "go stand back on my street corner" because he refused to tell me how much ground round he wanted from the service case. like i could just read his mind and know the amount. and he shouted his little speech; made people stare. i thought i was going to cry. and since th meatcutter couldn't get at the customer, he wound up jamming the big knife into one of the cutting boards instead. our boss, of course asked where the stab mark came from, when she saw it. tim, the cutter, said it should have been in a customer's head. everyday at kroger is truly an adventure anymore.
from tranntpigge :
i am lost. my husband lost his job, then he totaled his car, and is currently having nothingtodo with me because i'm pregnant and i'm refusing his demands to get an abortion. i wonder if life ever gets better, or if it just keeps getting worse...
from college-kid :
Yup. All college kids are super-heros, as far as I'm concerned. Especially if "Mommy and Daddy" aren't paying for everything. It does look like we have alot in common.
from college-kid :
While I am a fan os Sylvia, she's not my /favorite/ poet... He life was rather tragic, too. She stuck her head in an oven and gased herself to dead, finally succeeding after multiple suicide attempts. Her husband Ted Hughes wasn't really nice to her either... probably due to the fact her poetry was far superior to his. Hawthorne, I haven't read any of but I shall. I've heard the Scarlett Letter is amazing and I've been meaning to read it for some time now. I have actually never heard of Rasputina, which is suprizing because I usually keep up with such things. My latest craze is Apocalyptica, with the Cellos. Thanks for the advice, though. I'm bound to try it this summer, but I don't dare a moment before then. Busy bee am I.
from college-kid :
I play violin, actually. Haha, as lame as it sounds. Both electric and acoustic. I've been trying to pick up guitar for a while, but it's hard to go from violin to guitar. I also /love/ singing but I'm not really confident in my own voice. Plus, not too many bands looking for violinists and while I'm pretty decent, I've decided I don't have the technical skills to persue classical training at a college level... and private lessons just aren't my thing. I play whenever I get the chance, but it's just not the same when you're by yourself.
from college-kid :
Well, being in a band is like a job in itself. I would give anything to be in one. I love music and ever since I graduated HighSchool I haven't played in a group. Something about creating music with people gives me such an adrenaline rush. It breaks my heart I'll never make a career out of it.
from college-kid :
Haha, please don't make the mistake of thinking that I have too much leisure. Far from it, really. But I make time, otherwise I'm not a very nice person to be around. =) Gotta slow down! Life's too short.
from college-kid :
I find it entertaining to go through the list of recently updated diaries and I just happened to stumble across yours. When I find one I can relate to or one I enjoy reading, it gets added to my list. I liked your because its almost poetic and I can relate to alot of the topics, though, obviously, I can't put it into words so well as you. And yes, I agree. Many people don't think about the consequences.
from college-kid :
Amazingly thought provoking.
from sadistiksoul :
hmmmm.
from tranntpigge :
happy new year! whenever you get the skinny puppy, just let me know. i'm willing to wait for good music.
from hbaybee :
Want a great review by adorable people? Amanda and Sarah are waiting for you at hitlar bayee, so come request now =D [disclaimer: we are not nazi's we promise. Sarah's boyfriend is jewish even.]
from tranntpigge :
like the new look. a lot.
from tranntpigge :
thank you! that would be so awesome. i am actually doing a little better...(fingers crossed.) i hope you're ok as well.
from ruebenwafco :
cool site. keep on rockin.
from tranntpigge :
thank you. being along on your birthday does suck. weren't for my anxiety disorder, i probably would have gone clubbing alone. i tried to, but got too scared and wound up just sitting in my car crying. finally told my fiance off for being such an ass. kised and madeup. day still sucked pretty badly.
from hadassah :
I'm good, how are you doing?
from myheavyheart :
'everything is colliding, mind collapsing, my world is ending, all over again' damn.
from tranntpigge :
like the new look! bought gold again, so my diary can get "fixed"; the decapitated me will come back.
from myheavyheart :
thanks, i'm glad someone likes anything that i write.
from tranntpigge :
yes; a picture of me, decapitated. a friend took it in the parking lot on campus when we ran into each other by chance. i was in pretty bad shape that day, but she told me to smile, so i put on this dopey grin that did nothing whatsoever to mask my pain. probably because i was halfcrying and starved. and it was very hot, but i was wearing four layers of clothing, and running late for an exam, and things were generally not going my way. i'm glad that you like my entries. makes it worthwhile.
from hadassah :
You bet I'm interested. Sign me up my friend.
from hadassah :
Come join my leo diaryring my friend. And Hey how are you?
from tranntpigge :
i like it!
from hadassah :
again another great piece of art. You are very talented my friend.
from hadassah :
Weird, I like having my words typed out on a page as opposed to handwritten cause I don't think it looks perfect hand written and a lot of the stuff I write about is chaotic so I need it atleast to look nice. Maybe it is that we are both Leos. Honestly the person who I was the closest to in my life was my big brother and he was a Leo too. And good for you that you play and sing. Too bad you live so far from me. Damn.
from hadassah :
Thanks my friend. My voice is definately my instrument of choice. I am passionate about singing. Actually singing has gotten me through really tough times. Really since I was about three singing has been my thing. I also have a little bit of natural talent with the blues harp. Other then that no instruments. What about you? Do you play any instruments?
from hadassah :
Thanks and I think you're right my neighbour is childish. I think he figures he's too good for me. I've decided to move on. Yes I do write music, poetry, stories etc.It would be great to make money writing. That's my hope.
from hadassah :
Well unfortunately in my case love or whatever it is doesn't seem to be enough for this particular man. I know it's time for me to move on it's just easier said then done. He once told me to not give up on him yet that is what I hear him screaming with his silence is to do just that.
from hadassah :
The latest piece is a total work of art. Your words amazing. I find myself daydreaming that you are my next door neighbour that I can't seem to get over. And you are writing these beautiful feelings to me as an alias thinking I don't realize that it comes from you.and that you are that man next door and these are the reasons you keep yourself so far away from me. That it's not because there's something wrong with me that you keep your distance with me, but rather, you (he) are really just as in love with me as I, as I am with you. (him.) A girl can still dream can't she? Nice piece
from apocalipx :
i think who the fuck cares is what i think.
from minstrelite :
That's all very interesting. I personally read it as "The dog ate meat," but I'm sure such perceptions are subjective and, of course, there is no right or wrong answer. Good luck with your photo-shoot (if that's still a current venture -- not sure how long ago you left the note.)
from minstrelite :
That was an interesting question you asked in your note. The first thing that came to my mind was something like an "OMG" or "Oh My God!" -- but that was immediately followed by the sound of the letter "omega" from the Greek alphabet. And it all happened kind of fast.
from hadassah :
Nicely done.
from tranntpigge :
i actually thought of it shortly before i met him. but he does drive me insane 90% of the time.
from tranntpigge :
it occurs to me, that, tired as i was last night, i told you that "trennen" (trent) means "to meet," when it actually means "to separate." what i was thinking, i don't know. "he separates; i pig."
from deadwater :
Oh ma gaw... like ohmygod. And then I thought of Omega, the greek letter?
from justjones :
Um...the first thing that came to mind was "Who is this person and why are they asking??". Then the song "Omega Man" by The Police became lodged in my head. ~Kim
from scorpi07 :
Honestly? The first thing that came to mind was Omega-3 Fatty Acids, then, as I looked at the word for a moment I saw "Oh Megan." Lastly, I remember the biblical references of God being the Alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. (Coming from the Greek alphabet.) Why? What do you think of when you see the name "scorpi07"?
from tranntpigge :
it's pseudo-german. sort of. "trnnt" would be pronunced, by german rules, the same way as "trent," which means "he meets." "pigge" comes from the english word "pig," but i changed it to make it look like a first-person conjugation of a german verb. i.e., the verb would be "piggen," which we'll say is a cognate that means "to pig"; then "pigge" would mean "i pig." so, trnntpigge: he meets, i pig. dumb and pointless, i know, but i like the way it sounds.
from oldncrazy :
By the by you asked about ohmegah it sounds like Greek all I can say is yahsoo and ticonnis as well as yahsoo ahzoo! Chao Doc
from oldncrazy :
Hey ohmegah! Listen I shot the bull with ya the other night for jst a tad bit but I'm having trouble getting into any chat room tonight any suggestions? E-Mail me @ [email protected] andlet me know Thanks Much
from snow666white :
I know what you mean... I miss chems... I broke my own heart...and then they broke it again.. Delicious as they are painful -these vices. I hope you get better. Write to me when you feel the need [email protected] Take care hon X
from manvsnature :
oh. no problem. i did think i would win a prize or something, though.
from butt-er :
HEY MACARENA!! don't ask why because i don't know.
from snow666white :
what? where are you!!
from manvsnature :
you didn't kill yourself? but i'm not disappointed. ('your last entry'). well, sorry for all the notes. you left my first note on my page and i got all excited.
from manvsnature :
oh, & you're not named Meg? it sounds like someone is getting a blowjob from Meg.
from manvsnature :
i see two things. i see a clever way of writing "oh mah gaaaah." like when people say "oh my god" with that dialect. maybe a hispanic person? i don't know. i don't say it like that. maybe someone being silly. usually on myspace. oh mah gaaah it's you you're so pretty now. you know? and then i also see "omega." like the letter.
from apathykills :
the letter H
from tranntpigge :
i do like the new layout. very bold and striking. and contrary to what i told the teharapist that i am no longer seeing, i do know precisely what triggered my bulimia: i thought my fiance, then just my boyfriend, has started seeing someone else on the side, so i thought if i could lose a little weight, he'd be more interested in me. and then somehow, it all got out of control, which is what i can't figure out. "ohmegah" makes me think of two things: one is an image of an elliptical galaxy; the other is a phrase: "oh my god." but i have strange percpetions. what does "trnntpigge" make you think of? it's a word of my own invention, but i do have an actual meaning for it.
from oldncrazy :
Well the first thing is actually thanks for the howdy hi the second thing is "ohmegah"? Not sure souns like an american indian word so all I can say is Oh My God!
from joistmonkey :
if you're going to spam loads of people's notes to make them aware of you, you better make sure your diary is worth looking at. Such a disappointment.
from tampaxofdoom :
uh...yes? And your point?
from kointuition :
oHmEgAh - pumps and high heel boots :) Let me in on your journey. Password...please!
from tampaxofdoom :
the word, omega...lol
from how-to-fight :
A person saying the name Megan with a fake foreign speech affectation. Or "Oh My God."
from hadassah :
may I have your password. I see you've locked up.
from spoonherder :
In one of the classes required for a computer science major, a batch of friends and fellow computer science majors realized we act much like a pack, so we decided what ranks each other had, much like in a wolf pack. Examples would be I'm Beta and my friend is Omega. What kind of photo shoot are you doing?
from spoonherder :
I have a friend with the nickname Omega. It's a weird story.
from japanesegum :
first i thought it was some middle eastern name of sorts. then of course i saw...OMG!
from redbedbugs :
Oh My god. as in OMG. but like a little girl who's mean to her parents and chews a lot of gum would say. oh mahgaaaaa!
from strawberrri :
'from alpha intooo omega.' greek alphabet innit :)
from janedoe0 :
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Honestly. First I read it as Oh Megan. It's early ok? All my reflexes are still a bit dull. :)
from realitychic :
"omega" (as in alpha and omega...not that I'm very religious)
from dawnald-duck :
Transformers. Don't ask why, it just comes to mind, reminds me of "optimus" which led to Optimus Prime, woo, weird stuff right there!
from spoonherder :
I think Lili Shi, but that's just me.
from sunshining :
hah, it's all good ya know?
from sunshining :
i have eight, actually. some are secret from my friends and others aren't. some are writing exercises and some are straight forward. just fun is all =)
from sunshining :
hah... i'm thedaybreaks as well.
from thedaybreaks :
oh my god or omega.
from purplemaple :
i thought ure from asia. "oh, megah" means -> "oh, proud" in malay
from wvbeetlebug :
alpha
from pantrypuff :
First I think Omega. Then I think, who the hell is this? :)
from philo-vance :
Man as in Omega.
from joistmonkey :
What crossed my mind? Illiteracy. Electronic circuits. A Welsh girl I once knew. Your move.
from painted-eyes :
Like, ohmygod...except someone who's slurring their words. Why?
from hadassah :
hey, cutie. Nice pics
from hadassah :
I know what that's like. It's scary but true most days I would rather be dead than even 10 lbs overweight. If you ever wanna write my email is [email protected]
from hadassah :
I like your new look.
from anarchrist7 :
"Why I Am the Way I Am" - very interesting analogy. It's so true though. I like ur style, keep it up!
from snow666white :
I see you have been a busy boy. I've been unwell, with no words for my thoughts. I am back... I live in spheres that overlap... Yet they seem to end so similarly... Regardless, lessons have been learned. Hope you are well, lovely X
from hadassah :
Thanks, you are sweet.
from hadassah :
pain is beauty
from hadassah :
I know this is none of my business, but If this new woman is any kind of real woman she knows that she isn't perfect herself. Maybe you should give her a glimpse of who you really are and let her decide if you are someone she can truly love. Maybe this woman has the capacity to love you and not hurt you like the other one did. Maybe you should take the risk and open your heart up to her. Maybe deep down your pain is familiar to her because she has felt it too. Maybe she's afraid too. Just a thought.
from hadassah :
Good night
from hadassah :
Your words, they pierce my soul. I have been camped out at my computer just in anticipation of your next entry. And I have to say some of the people in your buddy list have a real talent for wording things as well. Run away with me?
from hadassah :
I think you are definately onto something. I'd love to read more of you perhaps if you'd allow me a glimpse into your transformations.
from hadassah :
I can relate I just read back in my journal and can't believe how much time I've spent being a door mat for a man that completely betrayed me. I like your diary too. It looks like you're new here at diaryland. Welcome.
from hadassah :
I suspect it isn't love. But I have yet to experience the true love.
from hadassah :
I'm sorry she hurt you.
from tranntpigge :
i love "convulsion," too. it was actually through playing it repeatedly that i turned my fiance into a skinny puppy fan.
from ruebenwafco :
nice diary and even better name. see you on the other side.
from tranntpigge :
either "worlock" because i find it comforting when i'm feeling hopelessly bulimic or "the choke" because it reminds me of my ex-boyfriend, who, incidentally, once choked me and threatened to throw me down a flight of stairs. and i really like "pedafly" and "haze" off the new album. what about you?
from snow666white :
oh... how i've felt like this. let me tell you that death is not the only change... and that you are not alone. come share my portals, rubin. Take care, dear (and thank you for your notes).
from tranntpigge :
i searched for "skinny puppy," just to see what i could see. apparently, it works.
from drowningpink :
thanks. i really appreciate it. i didn't really think that anyone reads it. thats probably for the best to think that.
from tranntpigge :
that's awesome because everyone thinks i'm insane and/or is afraid of me. but i really enjoy reading your diary.
from snow666white :
thanks for the note. I really dont have much to say... I did write a piece, I should post it.... it is called Apollo in a snow-globe
from tranntpigge :
want to be friends with a desperately hopeless bulimic who staggers blindly through life hoping to catch a glimpse of the color purple in his dreams because he believes that just might be the thing to end it all? okay, probably, definitely not. but are you willing to talk to him?
from snow666white :
oh... heart-breaking entry... I know what it is...it coils in my lungs... I hope you are ok... add me to msn if you have it X
from snow666white :
Excellent my dear! I am glad to hear word from you :) I've locked up for now. if you want a password n that please gimmie your email and i shall provide. hope you are well, Mister.
