Have you ever seen the movie Almost Famous? If you haven't, the actor who plays the rock writer (fucking great writer) Lester Bangs goes on this whole spiel about how "pretty" people don't have any backbone. Kind of like, they don't have anything to contribute, their life is easy, that kind of thing. I, kind of, feel the same. Anyhow, in the section of bending-light.com called "portraits," is that blonde girl you? My god, if it is... Lester Bangs should have met you. If it is you (I'm pretty sure it is), it's almost not fair that you are so incredibly talented, as well as beautiful to boot. Some girls have all the luck....
from mercuryruled :
yup it works
from mercuryruled :
your scroll bar is broken! how am i ever going to learn the secret to cheap lunches?
from raven72d :
i'm glad you have a second site...
from mercuryruled :
u must go see "garden state" its fucking beautiful.
from mercuryruled :
u should come road trip and visit me. i think we'd have a swell ol time. drinking and talking and shaking up the town...or maybe we'd hate eachother and get in a fight and i'd pull your hair.
from bonnylisbon :
At this point I don't know if you are male or female, but I do know that we have a lot in common. Feelings, music, authors, you know...those kinds of things. I just hope to god you're better off than me, you know? I really hope you're not a fucking mess as well.
from mercuryruled :
just wanted to say hello. hope u are doing okay.
from purplehaze1 :
love is just a joy ride drink a lot of beer and climb inside
from decemberguy :
So I was curious what the final verdict on those tapes were? Have you listened to them all?
from decemberguy :
The version of Sunday I sent you is from the "subUrbia" soundtrack..which is infinitely better than the Sonic Youth album, on which that song appears..
from lightfallsup :
end of what story?
from mercuryruled :
i'm home from maryland! yippee. and ok, i'll be checking my mail. and i plan to mail your mix cds out on monday.
from decemberguy :
As I speak, music is flying the friendly skies to you..hope you enjoy.
from mercuryruled :
i really wish there was a post office around here so i could mail your cds. i'm so proud of them. how's your manuscript coming? i'm still in maryland so don't know if you mailed it or not.
from mercuryruled :
whats shakin?
from mercuryruled :
have i recommended this to you yet: [email protected]?
from decemberguy :
I had some sort of psychic revelation that something like this would happen, so I delayed shipment. That..and I was gonna throw a couple of other things in the package that I thought you might dig. Either way, send me the new address..
from sampsman :
Yes, it is Okay to burn buildings. Often times, after an outdoor smoke, I intentionally miss the ash-can, so the cigarette butt can land adjacent to the building. But alas, no such luck in an "accidental" excuss to leave this infinate turmoil I call my workplace . . . but I will try again, every hour on the hour.
from decemberguy :
I like your template..
from lightfallsup :
missed you. colors better now. life turning crazy corners. hope your not estranged with me or anything.
from sampsman :
That comment you wrote was right on que. Did you think that up yourself? It sums up the levels cynicism and frustration I have been feeling as of late, both of which are shattering past records. Regardless, have a fine weekend, stay out of trouble, and take car of tweedy. Live, love, enjoy - J.
from stormyclaude :
yay!!! i'm so happy for you!!
from mercuryruled :
cool thanks, i should have guessed that! i wish i could add an entry but the damn server is busy as usual! oh well.
from mercuryruled :
thanks, i'll consider it.... hey, could i get your password for your starsforarms diary? i have some entries that i saved as favorites a long time ago and it would be cool to read them again....pretty please?
from mercuryruled :
i'm half tempted to copy and paste your last entry into an email to him...because its absolutely beautiful...and perfect. but i wont for 2 reasons: #1 its stealing and #2 I have no balls.
from lightfallsup :
pictures change but you stay the same.
from lightfallsup :
if the wind is blowing it'll be warmer than i'd like but i'll sit here and wait for the next entry.
from decemberguy :
I hate to bring up semantics in your note page, but isn't a cucumber a vegetable? And if that's the case I agree with you:I hate when women smell like vegetables...
from lightfallsup :
i want you to know. move slowly and you'll be floating away. i'll be waving wildly at your starry eyes and everything everything will be something it shouldn't.
from sampsman :
yes indeed T. We are two broke mo-fo's. If you hold my head under until I drown, I promise I will return the favor afterward.
from lightfallsup :
your a mad-flag for sad lives growing hopeful. thanks for being.
from renigin :
Yo yo yo homie (because pretending to be a thug can be amusing)thank you for the note. I too get so lazy that I never read anyones diaries because I can't seem to focus on anything, but then when I do feel like reading I am thankful for diaries like yours that are insightful and witty instead about the same old bull, and you make so many entries I never get offline feeling unfulfilled, so yeah, thanks for that.
from sampsman :
hey, thanks for the info T. I will definately give you a full report after the show. BTW, not that I am pressing you or anything, but did you ever send out your book . . . I haven't received it in the mail. It's okay if you haven't, but I was just wondering.
from decemberguy :
Oh yeah, and I realized I screwed up my email addy for you..its supposed to be:[email protected]. And your mixtape is already ready..
from decemberguy :
Yeah, but they edit out all the curse words on tv..so screw that. Didja see the BG reference I made to you on my front page?
from mercuryruled :
hi, i'm alive and well. actually i'm in ohio and will be leaving for maryland on sunday. kinda nervous since we'll only have 8 days to apt search once we get there...and i hear the crime rate is pretty high there so we are trying to find a safe city to live in. how r u doing? i still havent mailed your cds...grrr. but they are done at least!
from decemberguy :
[email protected]
from decemberguy :
shoot me an addy, and I'll send you a mixtape..
from lightfallsup :
and oh yes, the new deftones record kicks ass. white pony status or close to, hard to tell so soon.
from renigin :
All I have to say is good god your car is hot and don't stop updating for goodness sake!God lord I sound like someone's mother. Argh I didn't mean to make this so "godly" eh, whatever.
from raven72d :
You must listen to Eric Anderson's "Ghosts Upon the Road"... a vur' long, incredibly haunting song... And the 22 May 03 entry is brilliant.
from lightfallsup :
[holding sign in front of diaryland coorporate that reads: damn the man, save the pillow-wept from haitus!]
from decemberguy :
An end to your diary? But what will us little people do?
from stormyclaude :
i love yr piece today. love love love it.
from lightfallsup :
no really, what does that mean?
from decemberguy :
I like that picture too..
from lightfallsup :
just getting started and i've been called "interesting" twice tonight. what does that mean? life is good.
from lightfallsup :
this is fucking brilliant, and i had forgotten about it: "when i look at you i squint you are that beautiful and my pussy is a tractor and this is a tractor pull i'm haunted by my illicit, explicit dreams and i can't really wake up so i just drift in between thinking the glass is half empty and thinking it's not quite full "
from lightfallsup :
"i guess that i'm fine now, everything's better, everything's cooled down, it's all copasetic, we'll move on, to a better world, to a fresh start, where anything's possible, but i'm sick of it, so sick. of it. just now." - tim kasher
from lightfallsup :
i may be avoidant, but i AM composed. i'm just saying.
from lightfallsup :
wow! that was harsh.
from lightfallsup :
see,and youd think with all those sit-ups, youd be sharper mentally and begin taking some goddamn responsibility for your actions!
from lightfallsup :
see profile.
from lightfallsup :
yes, an expression. it's an expression of the color of my eyes. they are blue, not brown.
from lightfallsup :
blue eyes, not brown.
from lightfallsup :
then i have a hard time believing that the 80's in fact, rocked your socks.
from lightfallsup :
i hope you don't pull it down.
from lightfallsup :
blur 13...and by the way, i love my so called life. so, it may be like a toaster, but hell, it's still cool as fuck.
from lightfallsup :
long smiles granted are plenty enough.
from lightfallsup :
well, you know what they say, all's fair in love and sadism.
from mercuryruled :
hahaha bring a flask.
from mercuryruled :
oh i'm good. just relaxing now that exams are done.
from lightfallsup :
you love it.
from mercuryruled :
how u doing these days?
from lightfallsup :
it's hard to come up with original things to say when something really send the shivers climbing, so (for fun and ease), pretend i am good at that, and that i have written an opus of an explanation for how that (ache)makes me feel.
from lightfallsup :
having fun on work-day saurday?
from lightfallsup :
jesus, when you get it right it's like a dream without a cure.
from stormyclaude :
thanks sweetie...i will be better soon...i'm going to go swoon melodramatically and blast the cure. have a joyful weekend <3
from lightfallsup :
it's best when you intend (only) to leave a comment (like notes) about something and end up saying something tiny and (not quite) fragile about the way you feel just then.
from lightfallsup :
ay, the sonics are worth half the air we breathe.
from lightfallsup :
and daydream nation still makes my brain buzz with feverish delight eyes close and wake but never hope it ends and like all dreams, we go solitary and know it will never turn out okay, but maybe, just maybe, this time it won't end and life will go on as never before.
from callmemegs :
very cool how you used the wilco lyrics in your profile....good song
from ravynemyst :
My fave 80s artist was (and still is) Prince. His music speaks to me on so many levels (sexually, spiritually, mentally).
from ravynemyst :
I think all of us have a song or a group that stirs nostalgic moments in us. I know I have many from my teen years in the 80s. :) thanks for the flashbacks
from decemberguy :
Don't know if you're sad, or if its just the poetry, but I hope everythings ok..
from lightfallsup :
yes, it was in reference to the guestbook comment that i couldn't add to in the guestbook. yes, the "nsty deli" from the slide show. it was my beer store when i was drunk. when i was a drunk i could drive there blind deaf dumb and blankly.
from lightfallsup :
fucking guestbooks won't let you sign more than once. damn the torpedos!
from lightfallsup :
anyway, when i was a drunk, it was.
from lightfallsup :
so when are you going to make me a mix cd?
from lightfallsup :
longpigs-mobile home (the sun is often out is too tame), or kent - isola. on the longpigs, particulalry "the frank sonata" and "gangsters" madman melodies.
from mercuryruled :
i wish i could add an entry. the server is busy as usual :(
from mercuryruled :
you'll have to email me your address again, i deleted it after i sent the check. i feel all warm and fuzzy inside..."he" just called.
from mercuryruled :
i have your cds done...but i dont know the safest way to mail them...i might have to wait to mail them until around the 17th when i can get to a postoffice (yes, isnt that sad that it will take me that long to find a postoffice..but thats when my finals are over etc..and they dont have one on campus like a normal college)
from lightfallsup :
you might try ALAN (local band) or DARRYL. or Gropius.
from lightfallsup :
hell, i don't know what all bands you've listen to...give me a style shell (indie, punk rock, jazz, soul, pop, something) of course, i still think mineral is the necessary evil of the moment.
from lightfallsup :
and royal trux. and blues explosion. hell, pussy galore would do no harm really just to round it out.
from lightfallsup :
appleseed cast-low level owl volume one and two, gastr del sol - anything, murder city devils - in name and blood (seems fitting for you at this point.).
from wyin :
There's fond memories to be had of Garland? Hmm. I learn new things everyday.
from wyin :
Actually, I'm in Garland now. Not much change, just quit school out in Arlington and went back home due to poorness.
from lightfallsup :
i would have to say that what is most needed is a three hour session locked in a room with mineral's "the power of failing" and the gloria record's "start here". otherwise, nothing.
from ravynemyst :
Your poetry is so powerful. I always look forward to reading it. Blessings
from lightfallsup :
i didn't know that but i DID know a guy once who only ate the brown m&m's. does that count?
from stormyclaude :
"we will know, won't we? stars will explode in the sky--but they don't, do they? stars have their moment and then they die."
from stormyclaude :
re: entry #298 i just want to send a long-distance (i think) electronic rub on the back. and i'm sorry if my hand's cold.
from lightfallsup :
wisdom is highly overrated.
from sampsman :
For the amount you charged per copy, I would understand if you needed a couple extra duckets. Sounds like you put a lot of effort and time (not to mention capitol) into the book, so if you need some more cash, let me know. J
from lightfallsup :
been wondering where my copy is? itching to read something else.
from ugotsoul :
will do honey... thanks for dropping by and expressing interest. :)
from towelphaser :
jobs suck. i almost went nuts today.
from ravynemyst :
found your diary by way of science-girl. Love your tell-it-like-it-is style! will add you as a buddy and check back again.
from lightfallsup :
you love me for it.
from lightfallsup :
having a king crimson day.
from decemberguy :
dig the new template..
from lightfallsup :
just wanted to say hello. so: YAWP!
from exhaust :
Thank you... and even before I could add Wilco to my list.
from wyin :
I think I had found you once before, then lost the name. Glad you could find a template you like, and impressed by your likes and your (more than two line) entries. You're good folk.--Nicole (also of Deconstrukt)
from decemberguy :
I would love to exchange mix CD's with you..just shoot your address to me at [email protected]
from lightfallsup :
ugly cassanova wins, what pedro album?
from lightfallsup :
and no rainer maria?
from lightfallsup :
it's imperative to know which nuetral milk hotel album though.
from lightfallsup :
jesus, throw out the coldpaly and foo fighters and you've got almost as good taste as me. (very goddamn immpressive) i'm on AIM, but you're not. it seems i missed my window so i have to wait for a half hour or so to leave.
from lightfallsup :
don't leave me with musical blue balls after all this.
from lightfallsup :
yeah, but it will be here when i get back...anyway, i'm going to smoke a ciggarette, then close up my work here. Please? i am really curious.
from lightfallsup :
are yo talking about lifted, you philistine? album's pure genius. lover i don't have to love, no beggning to the sotry, etc. god couldn't have written it better himself.
from lightfallsup :
what do you have with you?
from lightfallsup :
anyway, i'm takin off...gonna listen to some connor mother-fuckin oberst on the way to the theatre. jealous?
from lightfallsup :
but, idiot or not, i'm listening to the doors and you're sitting there like a goober not listening to the doors.
from lightfallsup :
not porbably, definatly.
from lightfallsup :
you won't go see it if i don't like it? what if i'm a complete idiot when it comes to judgement of john cusack films (of course, that excludes high fidelity which i will never admit to being less than an all time good taste award for my judgement of)?
from lightfallsup :
actually, i'm about tostop working for the day...maybe go see john cusack be international mystery man and world savior.
from lightfallsup :
is there any other brothers in arms album that has sting singing back up on a mark knopfler tune?
from lightfallsup :
especially that reggae version of d'yer maker.
from lightfallsup :
i've been stuck on the second dread zepplin record lately, as well...some music is better than enlightenment.
from lightfallsup :
i found my vinyl copy of brothers in arms last night.
from lightfallsup :
i'm following it up with dennis leary's "i'm an asshole." does that count as high art?
from lightfallsup :
built to spill is on now. you were right. then maybe, mr. crowley live cover.
from lightfallsup :
well, fear not, the times they are a'changin. soon you'll be knock knock knocking on heaven's door.
from lightfallsup :
not sure what possed me to pass on those tangled lyrics, but i do know that i'm in head-bob mode listening to subterranean homesick blues, and let me tell you, mam's IS in fact, in the basement mixin up the medicine.
from lightfallsup :
want me to email you a sun ra mp3 so you can survive the work drought...jesus, no sun ra for 8 hours straight, that's like, what, at least ten years without sex.
from lightfallsup :
Early one mornin' the sun was shinin', I was layin' in bed Wond'rin' if she'd changed at all If her hair was still red. Her folks they said our lives together Sure was gonna be rough They never did like Mama's homemade dress Papa's bankbook wasn't big enough. And I was standin' on the side of the road Rain fallin' on my shoes Heading out for the East Coast Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, Tangled up in blue. She was married when we first met Soon to be divorced I helped her out of a jam, I guess, But I used a little too much force. We drove that car as far as we could Abandoned it out West Split up on a dark sad night Both agreeing it was best. She turned around to look at me As I was walkin' away I heard her say over my shoulder, "We'll meet again someday on the avenue," Tangled up in blue. I had a job in the great north woods Working as a cook for a spell But I never did like it all that much And one day the ax just fell. So I drifted down to New Orleans Where I happened to be employed Workin' for a while on a fishin' boat Right outside of Delacroix. But all the while I was alone The past was close behind, I seen a lot of women But she never escaped my mind, and I just grew Tangled up in blue. She was workin' in a topless place And I stopped in for a beer, I just kept lookin' at the side of her face In the spotlight so clear. And later on as the crowd thinned out I's just about to do the same, She was standing there in back of my chair Said to me, "Don't I know your name?" I muttered somethin' underneath my breath, She studied the lines on my face. I must admit I felt a little uneasy When she bent down to tie the laces of my shoe, Tangled up in blue. She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe "I thought you'd never say hello," she said "You look like the silent type." Then she opened up a book of poems And handed it to me Written by an Italian poet From the thirteenth century. And every one of them words rang true And glowed like burnin' coal Pourin' off of every page Like it was written in my soul from me to you, Tangled up in blue. I lived with them on Montague Street In a basement down the stairs, There was music in the cafes at night And revolution in the air. Then he started into dealing with slaves And something inside of him died. She had to sell everything she owned And froze up inside. And when finally the bottom fell out I became withdrawn, The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew, Tangled up in blue. So now I'm goin' back again, I got to get to her somehow. All the people we used to know They're an illusion to me now. Some are mathematicians Some are carpenter's wives. Don't know how it all got started, I don't know what they're doin' with their lives. But me, I'm still on the road Headin' for another joint We always did feel the same, We just saw it from a different point of view, Tangled up in blue.
from lightfallsup :
and, yes, i want a copy.
from lightfallsup :
just wanted to add one more, because...hell, i already did four. the idea is to keep going until one drops dead from shear exhaustion.
from lightfallsup :
but not likely. i'll rate him number two on the rat pack scale. of course, that only works if you're only counting the post-bogey years.
from lightfallsup :
but then, if sunday afternoons means more than laying about, shiftless, and takes on a sort of fantasy form, then i guess one could see the desire for that crumbly wap.
from lightfallsup :
the trick in life is to ask for things you don't want (insert sarcastic voice here). and no way on the dino...granted, he's bad motherfucker, but he's no frank. frank's like coltrane meets miles meets sun ra having a kid with tim leary and ken kesey....i think. jesus christ fits in there somewhere as well.
from lightfallsup :
sounds like difinitive proof that bob dylan really is god. but hey, he couldn't do it without the holy trinity: jeff tweedy the son, and frank sinatra, the holy spirit.
from raven72d :
How appalling!
from raven72d :
It's Friday...at least you can sleep all weekend.
from mercuryruled :
feel better! i'd mail u some soup but that might be messy
from lightfallsup :
hope is a dragon left behind by fate.
from decemberguy :
Being sick is no fun. Hope you get well soon...
from mercuryruled :
ah good idea. i might do something similar cuz i find that i'm eliminating songs that don't fit well with the others. man i love music.
from mercuryruled :
well i'm stop stressing and i'll just make more than one! take the easy way out
from mercuryruled :
only thing bad about making mix cds is trying to just make one....
from lightfallsup :
it's all about fruit roll-ups.
from stormyclaude :
awww. thanks!! i'm going to start reading yours regularly... *
from stormyclaude :
Ugh. I just read the entry about the bikers. I'm sorry. God, it's so unfair. www.streetharassmentproject.org might interest you. thx for your words
from raven72d :
I'll be back to read you quite often.
from raven72d :
Great layout, great entries...
from msmongi :
I too have had scary run-ins with elderly biker types. Shudder. I'm stealing the deadly sins survey. Thanks for the nice note you left me!
from renigin :
slightly cynical with sharp wit...Conan is a stud.
from decemberguy :
When you first said you were attracted to Conan, I assumed you were talking about "the barbarian"..not "O'Brien". Kind of funny. BTW, the Polyphonic Spree kick ass...
from mercuryruled :
AND.. i'm thinking about signed up for a photo site like that...i'm getting to lazy to do update my flash site and even my html site.
from mercuryruled :
becuase i was too lazy to look thru your old entries for the url and i wanted to show my roomate your photo of the moon/tree
from mercuryruled :
whats the url to your online photos?
from mercuryruled :
ya i'll do something. just strange that i have to. makes me think that he isnt interested. usually if i like a guy and he likes me, it just works out. i shouldnt really have to beg him to like me. maybe i've just always dated non-shy guys before though.
from mercuryruled :
hahaha nice pjs!
from mercuryruled :
oh cute as ever. he went home for the weekend so no stalking for me til monday
from cowboyneal :
hey, screw guys like that anyhows.
from lightfallsup :
love the new design by the way.
from mercuryruled :
somewhere around baltimore. near whatever airforce base is closest. my bestfriend is in the airforce and is being transferred from alaska to maryland so i'm going to help her watch her baby while she and her hubby get settled in their new location. and yeah i have no ambition to see the white house either..the bar sounds cool thou.
from mercuryruled :
because i'm spending a month or more there this summer. wondered what it was like.
from mercuryruled :
what do u do exactly? besides this, of course.
from mercuryruled :
it was oddly nice for the first month or two...
from mercuryruled :
sure i'll have your job but it's a long commute! hey have u ever been to maryland?
from mercuryruled :
damn overtime! i want your job! are they hiring?!
from mercuryruled :
Oh one more thing! it totally seems like last semester he liked me for sure. but he knew i had a boyfriend. now that i'm single and he knows it, he doesnt seem to be as "flirty" so either he was in it for the chase type of thing or this new chic is his new interest. like last semester i jokingly asked him to cut all my mattes for my photo portfolio and he did. i spent 3 hours at his apt watching him cut my mattes, it was great.
from mercuryruled :
hey u are at work? so technically u are getting paid for this!
from mercuryruled :
yeah he drives me nuts. like the other day he randomly pulls this book out of his bag and was like "oh, you have to read this book, you'd Love it!" and i'm like "he wants me!"
from mercuryruled :
god i'm a loser. :) howd u get suckered into listening to me whine?!
from mercuryruled :
i'll make your mixcd extra good if u dont charge me by the hour! well, last semester we picked all our classes so we were in the same times together...um this semester he comes into the darkroom when i'm working on sunday and we usually walk home together. we went to the art museum today together cuz we both have a paper to write. so...either he likes me or i'm his only friend. mostof the time i think its the later because when i ask him to come to a party or out to lunch he doesnt seem to eager to do anything. kinda like "um yah i'll try to come" and he never really asks me to do anything with him outside of school besides school things.
from mercuryruled :
so can u think of an easy way to tell if he is even interested? without flashing him...or asking him straight out.
from mercuryruled :
well thanks ...for hitting on me :)
from decemberguy :
Yeah I like both those bands, though I haven't heard much of Slobberbone. My fave band from Tx right now is Lift To Experience. They sound like Jeff Buckley fronting The Jesus and Mary Chain..and they really really kick ass. From what I've heard though, they might have recently broke up=(
from mercuryruled :
yeah i never had to work this hard before. usually if i like someone and they like me we just end up going from there...but this guy is a confusing one. man, u are right, i'm going all out now. it's almost the end of the year, if i don't do "something" soon i'll regret it. i have this highschool tempation to just have a friend ask him what he htinks of me. cuz i have no confidence in that area of things. unless of course, i know they are interested.
from mercuryruled :
seriously, u crack me up! he's at work now..plus i'm a big scardy cat, otherwise i'd be so for the three way thing. and the tongue thing. oh that sounded bad...three way PHONE thing.
from mercuryruled :
yeah he totally makes me feel like a 15 yr old in love. it's great. thru the gossip line (also a fun 15yr old thing) i hear that she doesnt even like him. i think she just likes flirting with him. Bio-tch!
from mercuryruled :
yeah and if he got any cuter i swear i couldnt control myself.
from mercuryruled :
yes i know Exactly what u mean. there is actually another girl who is majorly flirty with him. grrrr. i swear i was "this" close to him liking me til she came along.
from mercuryruled :
HAHAHA U are great!
from mercuryruled :
http://skskittylitter.tripod.com/yoga/him.jpg i just left myself a note! opps.
from mercuryruled :
yeah i've been trying the do nothing thing for a year now and its not getting me anywhere. its frustrating. usually i can tell if i guy likes me, but not this one.
from mercuryruled :
i seriously was considering the Say Anything thing a few months ago!
from mercuryruled :
man that might almost be worth it just to see the look on his face.
from mercuryruled :
hahahaha ya i'd be totally for that, except i think he might get freaked if i did that in photo class
from sampsman :
I don't necessarily think all of my girlfriends were freaks, sluts, bitches, whores. The one I think was psychotic actually was psychotic. She had a disorder and was heavily medicated at times. When we got into arguements, she also beat her head against the wall, severely. And she cheated on me, so I guess that makes her a bitch as well. But I've seen her since then, and have since come to realize she wasn't all that bad, just not meant for me. In all other cases, I was the dickhead.
from introibo :
i like notes because somehow it's like getting a little piece of paper folded up and slid under your door for when you wake up in the morning. crazy, huh? you have this crazy style of writing that flows so well. it reminds me of something, but i don't know what yet.
from mercuryruled :
sounds like a deal!
from sampsman :
I love the images today. you have purdy handwritting.
from bluestarhalo :
hey beautiful- here's a reminder-Peter "sexgod" Yorn has a new album out--- tomorrow!! yay. Now go about your lusting. ;)
from mercuryruled :

well miss thing, if I read your handwriting properly, you should be getting some snappy music in a few days. It only took me two months to send out the cd. But I think I broke major protocal by placing more than one song by the same artist on the CD. oh well, I never said I was mixed-CD burning inclined. cheers - J
from lightfallsup :

from mercuryruled :
Hi, I'm interested in your poetry manuscript...

Don't feel bad..I was obsessed with Figure 8 for a long time too..When's Elliott gonna put out a new album?
from sadgreeneye :
Hey Tiffany, That's so cool. I always used to go to Celestial park with Coleman and Jessi. We'd sit on the hill and talk, and then we'd go around the path to peek through the bushes at the huge pools behind the huge houses. It always creeped Jessi out, but I loved it. That's so wierd that you know where that is too. One times we were sitting on the sundial looking up at the clouds, and, I swear, the clouds were moving away from us. It was the wierdest thing, like we were receding. They weren't moving horizontally, but straight up and away into the sky. Anway, my point is that the park has evil magic powers.
from bluestarhalo :

from elipsis :
thank YOU...again...:) i think we speak the same language. it's a nice feeling to fall into.
from elipsis :
i could say the same thing about so many of yours...but thanks for your note! i've found myself posturing instead of diary-ing, lately, and... well... it felt pretty good to be real. your writing is so honest and lovely. the world is lucky.
from copperstars :
hey. thanks for your note. send an e-mail to [email protected] and i'll hook you up with the password.
from decemberguy :
Sorry to hear that.. that's how I spent last weekend. It's no fun.
from decemberguy :
Aww, thanks. Didja know that The Cure wrote the song "Killing An Arab" about Camus's The Stranger.. It's such a good book, but I'm surprised its so popular..
from sampsman :
I think if the oppurtunity is staring me in the face or brought to me, then I'll take the chance to do it. But there are a lot of chances I am unwilling to do / pursue that involve a risk of failure. I always wanted to try acting again but I am afraid it wouldnt work. I also like to write (obviously) but I am afraid to pursue it further because my talents are limited, or at least I think they are. After living on my own for five years, I am also afraid of moving away again, because I'm afraid I'll fail and have to come back with my tail between my legs. As for relationships, I don't want to take the chance of investing my time / effort into something I think will not benefit myself in the long run. So I guess while I am willing to take some chances, I also kick myself in the ass for not pursuing the more important ones that would make me a better individual. I dont think that makes any sense, but what ever does?
from decemberguy :
That last entry really spoke to me. I had a "Brent" as well.. Her name was Danielia, and she was the first girl I ever really fell for. I met her in a really tough time, and just getting to see her, or talk to her, or touch her "kept me trucking" so to speak. We broke up in sophomore year, and when I had to transfer, we sort of lost touch. I found out when I went home this Xmas, that she had recently gotten married. I swear, a part of me just died. I don't know if you feel the same way, but I've always wondered if she knew how special she was to me at that time..how much of an impact she had on my life..
from sampsman :
why I often feel the exact same way. Sometimes I can never seem to take "the chance" on a lot of things myself. I fear I will end up a grumpy old man bitching about all the chances he passed up 40 years from now.
from the-longshot :
the band t-shirts ALWAYS stay. <3 Scarlet
from decemberguy :
I'm the same way. I've got the same purple denim Tommy Hilfiger pants with huge bleach spots that I wore in high school. Not that I wear them.. they bring back great memories.
from decemberguy :
Yew shore done thought alot, didnja?? Glad to hear you're happy..
from sampsman :
Although I hate to stoop as low as those with few active braincells, such as this "twat" you are talking about, I will make one suggestion. You can always say you were going to sleep with him until you were told he is not well endowed . . . or you could say he is gay (not that I have anything wrong with gay people, but most straight guys, especially those that are idiots, hate that accusation). Uhm, either way, its a good way to get even.
from copperstars :
hey. i like your diary alot. i saw it on the internet (a communication device invented in the...early 1800's, i think). that's about it. enjoy your lunch.
from renigin :
"she has a really really strong voice." and you know what I'm going to say to that because I'm a big dork? Yeah yeah yeah...
from mydyingbeta :
i like what you said about secretly wanting a man to write a song for you, i have always wanted that, too....
from vigorousteen :
i fell upon your diary today while browsing and smiled at how "beautiful" the way you dream about spending your solitude (word?). ("theres nothing i want more than to lay on the floor...hum along to every single song that my ears heard" and "watching mind numbing tv. eating potato chips. drinking dr pepper.") i just found that pretty cool. :)
from renigin :
Hola-do you like the yeah yeah yeahs?
from sampsman :
hey. Just wanted to say hello. So, uh . .. hi. Glad to know you're having a beautiful day. Mine's just starting, but I'll let you know how it turns out.
from mydyingbeta :
i just read some of your diary, you actually made me laugh out loud, you sound like one cool chick. i know what you mean about going to a punk show and feeling old, i turn 21 in about a month and i always feel old at shows, and i'm just a youngin'! oh fucking well i guess.
from lightfallsup :
i updated some on saturday, but work has been hell so i've not been doing much on the update front. is that what you meant or did you mean i haven't been filling your gbook with gibberish?
from lightfallsup :
the apple stem test doesn't leave much hope for the poor fuckers with names that start with Z does it?

from decemberguy :

from decemberguy :
Your entries are getting and funnier...
from enid4seymour :
You work almost as hard as I do at not working. But you have a far better diary.
from darko626 :
You sound sooo cool. Please talk to me sometime. I would like that.
from sampsman :
take your 50 degrees and shove. We've got negative 10 tonight baby, and I say bring it on. oh yeah, I'm not a girl, but I am a woman on alternate saturdays at the vice-versa night club. I got a lot of phone numbers last weekend ;)
from decemberguy :
Nice job. Glad to have it..we can share though..
from ugotsoul :
why the diary switch-a-roo?
from hmpf :
nice to see you're not gone. welcome back miss. xo
from ugotsoul :
so what happened?
from mercuryruled :
Hi, it took me awhile to realize who I was reading but when I started to laugh out loud and found myself not getting sick of reading entries, I knew who it was. plus the little 'x' helped.
from ugotsoul :
Well yippy in a half shell! thank goodness... today is a good day indeed... :)
from ugotsoul :
uh-uh... no way... hmmm... is this who I think it is? 'x'... whom once had a pic somewhere else up in a distant land with beautiful bright red hair? Is this your new name...? hmmm... I'm intrigued, nervous, and hopeful all at once... oh yes... and i can't forget... CONFUSED.
from renigin :
You're back! Wahoo! Man that sounds lame but whatever, I'm glad you're back.
from bluestarhalo :
hey beautiful. so good to have you back. I was about to take out a full sized ad in variety or something, asking where has ______gone?! Send her back to me! You're my daily muse.
from sadgreeneye :
Hello Lovah, hold me? I'm glad that you're back. Thanks for letting me know. I felt kind of lonely, as stupid as that sounds. It is my daily fix that only your words can provide. Ok, I'm scaring myself now. I'll talk to you later. p.s. I want the first page of the paper tomorrow to say, "Apparently the fire at Sage yesterday was starting by pez dispensers that were filled with gasoline and ignited, police have no suspects" :)
