Are you gone? if not, can i have the password. I used to be officegal by the way.
from jane-does :
I am back, under a different name. hertinyhands, type "lux" and "veritas" to get in. If you are around and feel okay with it, leave me your password info on my comments. Would you mind deleting this note? Thanks, and Happy New Year.
from jason75 :
Hey, I have been missing. Am back but you are not. Am sorry to hear abotu everything (Just flicked through your notes for an update). Thoughts are with you and if or when you start writing again please dont forget to let me know.
from flnangel :
Hey! Just checking in to see how you are. You're diary seems to be locked now. Please take care!
from breezip :
I hadn't read your diary in a while, and I'm sorry to find out about your Dad's death. Take really good care of yourself, okay? I wish you strength and love. --Bree
from sturge :
Thank you for the birthday wishes. They mean the world to me. I hope you're doing well.
from odalisk :
oh, I'm so sorry. You are so young to lose a parent. I have a hard time even imagining what it must be like for you now. Enjoy the time you have left with your father, and...I dunno, I wish you strength.
from mootet :
hello. its 2am and i cant sleep so im tagging your diary :-)
from autumn-kitty :
Perhaps dad-in-law would like a shiny new turtle for his b-day? hehe Or maybe you could just send him off with the kid's other family for a weekend and see what animal he returns with!
from mousepoet :
oooooh! and we were at the same bowl game! oooooh! tell him i said "GO BEARS!" and i'll see him at the Rose Bowl next year on New Year's Day! ooooh!
from mousepoet :
he went to Cal? what year did he graduate? i'm '91.
from mootet :
because americans dont let anyone in after 9/11 :-(
from odalisk :
Oh no, he dumped me. But if you haven't tried anal at all...you should! It's the kind of thing that everybody should try once.
from odalisk :
Man. That sounds like an entry I could have written ten times over. My last bf, who I am thankfully rid of, was constantly trying to wheedle his way up my butt, and the more he tried - and the more sneakily, bringing it up when I was really drunk or otherwise out of it - the more I resisted, and really, really, started to be bothered by the way that he treated me sexually in general. I keep wishing that I liked anal, and every once and a while I think about giving it another go in good faith, gathering a lot of advice and following it. Not that it's an issue for me these days. Anyway. I think that if he's asking you to really push your limits, you are *totally* right to be asking the same of him. Experimentation is good, but bullying isn't.
from feelsnothing :
Interesting views on existence. "When your dead, your dead"--much agreed.
from autumn-kitty :
*BIG HUGS* I hope your holidays go smoothly. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
from raw-voice :
I hope you'll be able to join us on this week's challenge - it's up at the DS5 site!
from sketchbang :
Truly truly flattered by the link. I enjoy checking up on your entries. Kudos for all!
from sweet-lilly :
Glad to hear it, hope you got everything you wanted. My Christmas has been mostly good, thanks. ~L xx
from sweet-lilly :
I hope that you're doing okay, love ~L xx
from arletterocks :
Hey. E-mail me your address and I'll send you a copy of the mix CD!
from odalisk :
Yeah. I took a look at the blog today and had a similar thought. I did my best to follow in your footsteps on the exit interview, incidentally. At least as much as I could.
from arletterocks :
Smart and creative! Hah! Try cheap, and prone to desperate ideas.
from mousepoet :
your words were kind. you're right. you deserved a better exit than we gave. no excuses on my end. i suck.
from odalisk :
I was the one who suggested not voting Veruca off, and it was Uncle Bob who said we should. It was also Uncle Bob's idea to vote the replacement person off at the very beginning. And I'll take the compliment, even with an even.
from arletterocks :
That Radiohead bracelet? Well, you know those DIY skills I keep talking about? Yeah. That bracelet is a cheap vinyl bumper sticker on a sturdy snap bracelet. I swear, this stuff is really that simple. It's just that nobody ever THINKS of it so I look like a genius when I do it.
from autumn-kitty :
Well, sorry to hear you had to take the long walk off a short pier but, frankly, it was pretty boring. hehe Oh, and I think the thing that disappointed me the most about the club was the lack of stripping and abundance of just seeing people stand around in a G-string. I guess I was expecting more of a show.
from jason75 :
is no probs... cant wait for the exit interview
from odalisk :
oh dear. I started to leave you a message twice and then stopped each time. I think I started to write (it's coming back to me now...) "I'm sorry to see you go..." and then I stopped and thought, "Well, she's not really *going* anywhere..." and then got distracted and wandered off. Maybe it's too little too late - but your diary was one of the more pleasant discoveries I've made through the contest & I'm still reading...
from karmacops :
:)
from b0b0 :
Thank you for taking my survey! MLK's speech would be a very cool event to witness in person! Thanks again- bye
from autumn-kitty :
Thanks for the info, but I've already been shot-down due to lack of HR experience! Wow, that was like the quickest rejection ever!!
from autumn-kitty :
EEK. My friend's going to give my resume to an HR headhunter in Dallas....any tips?
from mousepoet :
are you okay? just checking in...
from no-yes-maybe :
I wanted to tell you thanks for filling out my survey....I really liked your diary
from autumn-kitty :
You've been doing a lot of lists lately....are you feeling the need to get 'something' in order and can't figure out what? This usually happens to me.
from breezip :
Hi. Thanks for taking my survey--I like your writing a lot. You have a very sweet sensibility, and I think we may have some things in common, not least of which, shoe size. I'll keep reading. Take care! --Bree
from cause-i-can :
http://cause-i-can.diaryland.com/pushpull.html Your review is up. Thanks for requesting.
from mousepoet :
Me three. Maybe it's the moon...
from odalisk :
Man. Me too. I have been walking around in a fog and unable to accomplish anything. It sucks.
from flnangel :
I like all the Mates of State albums, but their second, "Our Constant Concern" is a bit more polished than their first. Just a tip, buy straight from Polyvinyl, their label, the CD's are cheaper than indie stores, even with shipping, and they send lots of goodies like stickers and even candy with your shipment, not to mention the importance of supporting independent labels. Ok, that's my schpeel on that.
from flnangel :
The Aeroplane Over the Sea is one of my favorite albums. You'll love it. Not enough bands play the saw anymore these days...
from delicaterevu :
hi, I was wondering if you were still interested in reviewing for us. If you are, please let me know and we'd be more than glad to have you! Thanks!
from officegal :
try echnicea and as much rest as you can afford. use a humidifier in your room, that helps breathing. Vapor rub on your chest will clear things up but is a pain in the.... to get the smell off your skin. IM no doctor, but i am a concerned dland friend. I hope you get better soon. sorry to hear about your Father...
from flnangel :
Just wanted to stop and say hi, so sorry about your cold. I've been fighting one as well, lots of juice and Gypsy Cold Care Tea(it's the BEST) Take care!
from autumn-kitty :
Sorry to hear about your dad. Mine was diagnosed with cancer about 5 years ago, underwent surgery, and has been in remission since. I'm very lucky. I hope things get better for yours. *BIG SQUEEZE*
from mousepoet :
wow. that stuff about your father and struggles you have is just... wow.
from bisa-pet :
You are missing a ton of Tribal emails because your diaryland email isn't working. Please email me ASAP at ash at conwaycorp.net from a working email addy so we can get you caught up to speed please.
from autumn-kitty :
Why didn't you warn me about that damn cute kid being Uncle Bob's?? Urghhh! I so fell for it!!!
from maskedmofo :
Well, you may not know me, but at least we have somthing in common. We're both obsessed with my wife. Thanks for the well wishing!! --Cheers, MMF
from mousepoet :
where do you go in California for good Chinese food? or do you cook it yourself?
from autumn-kitty :
...sounds like fun...I'll have to look up everyone else you mentioned..
from bisa-pet :
Glad you liked it. When I read about your organizing obsession I *had* to put your flowchart comment in there somewhere. LOL You hit the nail square on the head with the stashed pics of the boys and Jasper. That is something I definitely would have done! Great job. :)
from autumn-kitty :
I hate the look of disappointment on a child's face. Nothing worse. Maybe a special trip to Chucky Cheese's will help...do you have those in Cali?
from call911 :
Heya! Got your note...been cruising through some of your entries...your "about" page looks largely like a mirror image of what mine would be if I put one up...we have quite a bit in common. See ya on the island - be chatting with you soon, I'm sure! Best of luck to ya! Call911
from tragiclovest :
Oooh... good luck in D-Land Survivor 5! Happy Halloween! *HUGS* :)
from trinity63 :
Congrats!!! I look forward getting to know more about you and hanging out with you as a cast away on Oak Island! Let's have fun with Dsurvivor 5!
from arletterocks :
Thanks for the congrats. But dude, I wanted first place! Oh well. Maybe next year. And congrats on not being knocked up, by the way.
from mizlizzy :
Hi there - I just noticed that I think you put me on your "buddy list". However I noticed you spelled it mizlizzi not mizlizzy - so when you click on it, it is an error page! :) Thanks for your nice note on my note page. I really appreciated that! I am going to read some of your entries today to get to know you better!
from virtualcrack :
it all sounds like a dream, the desert fires. amazing the way you described it too. eerie.
from autumn-kitty :
I'm still searching for a Halloween costume, too. I'm too broke to afford anything nice...I'll just have to use my imagination. Dammit!
from velvet-heart :
And here I am.. lol what a good lil' trooper I am eh?
from velvet-heart :
I love your words and admire your spirit... but Im keeping my heart protected.. bad me- afraid to reopen the doors to feel whats real.. bad me
from everoboto :
Glad you liked my banner. Thanks for the well wishes regarding the raise I asked for. \m/
from flnangel :
Haha! It's supposed to be windy too. I told my boyfriend the apples would fall off the trees, straight into my mouth, woo hoo!
from flnangel :
Hey! We're really excited about Oak Glen (except for the 90 degree weather this week!) Also, I tried the costume shop last weekend, MISSSTAKE. Good luck, I resorted to something I already had from Halloween's past. They were out of prosthetic devil horns, OUT OF DEVIL HORNS, what's up with that? So now I must just look like some sort of goth freak in West Hollywood (guess I'll fit right in!)
from autumn-kitty :
Sounds like someone got into a fender-bender...this entry reminds me of in "LA Story" when everyone starts shooting at each other!
from big-list :
Thankyou for supporting big-list
from mootet :
hello i dont think i have met you before how did you find my diary? thanks for the good luck note it was nice.
from popcore :
Thanks for taking part in my survey - it is tough, isn't it?
from sketchbang :
I love the new design. Did you doctor the photo of Thom yourself, coz it looks amazing. Oh, and the review you did of their concert gets 2 thumbs up...nay, 3! With Big Ideas did they do a full band arrangement or was it just Thom on solo guitar. I really think the full band, xylophones, organs, and everything, adds up to that song being one of my top 3.
from stonebridge :
hey, thanks for linking me. i love that image, and good luck at that party.
from officegal :
im sorry. school sucks. i can tell from your entrys and your vocab that you are one of the MOst INTELLIGENT people i know. thanks so much for talking with me. you really help me cope you know that... chin up you much luvin from oregon:)
from officegal :
hey sorry about your sucky convos with man. men are sucking in my life too. i wish you the best.honestly. HOws school going? much lovin
from arletterocks :
OK, shared ownership of Thom it is. I'll try and cover up the bite marks with makeup, OK? Awright, I'm off to go see if Walgreen's stocks any shades of foundation called "British Rock Star." If not, I guess White shoe polish might do the trick.
from arletterocks :
Uh-uh. Thom has been mine since about 1994. This is a long-term thing, dig? I'm not giving him up to ANYONE. Not after all the work I've put into him.
from dalyrical1 :
thanks for taking my survey. you had some really interesting answers!! hope to see ya round!
from autumn-kitty :
Hola, sorry it took me a while to find you from the faboo g-book entries you left..better late than never? I love the pic on on your page, so many different emotions... And thanks for putting my diary as a favorite (I had no idea), and I'll definately be reading yours!
from arletterocks :
Me: puked onto a hardwood floor. You: puked tomato sauce on tan carpet. You definitely win.
from soulseekerz :
I'm glad that your talk wih him was productive, it really means a lot to a child to have a figure they can look up to even if it isnt a biological figure. Kids dont think or care about that, they just look up to the person who's there as if they have no idea they should look somewhere else.
from fluidlife :
Hooray for you for being a sane Californian. So sorry you have to endure Gov. Terminator!
from desideroso :
blee! thanks for takin the survey! and the inspiration as well. :)
from tragiclovest :
Cool... I may just take you up on that offer of the football pool... :D
from lovely-freak :
that's not so personal.... my older son is 9 and when he was 4 he thought they were so cool... he dragged me into his kindergarten class and said "this is my mama and she has tattoos!" exactly like that. my baby is gonna be 2 in november and he couldn't care less. i've always had tattoos so they've never known me without them. they think they are normal and don't ask about them really. max (the baby) often touches them and looks at them but other than that there's been really no reaction.
from his-boy :
your layout is adorable
from everoboto :
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm curious, what books are you required to read for the class? I'd love to check them out. That class sounds wonderful.
from flnangel :
No shit, really? We can compare notes afterwards. Something like "Yes, Fake Plastic Trees did sound a little Meatloaf for Thom"
from thespark :
Come check us out. You should joing the ring.
from jane-does :
We both love Radiohead. The same songs at the same time, even. I loved the article on those first-graders... Thank you for thinking of me with those lyrics.
from herkinerf :
Mr. Swiss Chinese Food. That is a RIOT!!
from everoboto :
Thank you soooo much for all the guestbook love. That was so fucking cool of you. Also, thanks for listing me as a favorite, and in turn, I have listed you because you are rock!!! \m/
from lavidaloca-2 :
BEAUTIFUL layout, omg, strangers in paradise! someone!!! ahem, I came in through the banner btw.
from monkeydeaths :
I saw your banner add featuring Professor Farnsworth. I was just laughing with a friend about the 'suppository' episode last night. Thought it was a neat coincidence.
from everoboto :
Hi, I found you through one of your banners. As soon as I got to your page, I thought to myself, "probably a Neil Gaiman fan" and yup, you are. Cool! And you read your kid LOTR bedtime stories. Now that rules!
from bansheerose :
Thanks I like my new layout a lot better. It was my first try with backgrounds and transparent images. I hope you dont mind if I come back to your diary to continue reading.
from bansheerose :
just found your diary through a friend. Very unique image on the layout.
from sweet-lilly :
Thanks :) I've been meaning to change it for ages but haven't gotten around to it... ~ L xx
from sweet-lilly :
I think it was "Good news--it's a suppository!" but I'm afraid I can't be too sure. I saw that a few notes down and it rang a bell, but like I said... I have the memory of a fish. ~L xx
from sweet-lilly :
Hey, I clicked on a banner and was pleasantly surprised :) It's not often I like diaries after clicking on their banners. I'm intrigued to do the exact same thing to some of the kids I know. Keep it up! :) ~L xx
from wifemotherme :
If you check your stats today and see that someone read you from cover to end, dont be disappointed. You dont have a stalker - It was only me. I think I clicked on a banner to get here but now I just dont recall. I had a really wonderful visit. Thanks!
from dark-mirror :
I just clicked on your banner that said, "Good news--it's a suppository!" with the professor. May I say, that's one of my all time favorite episodes of Futurama props to you!
from fan4 :
I don't read the SiP comicbook (though I do have some issues), but I like the characters, and own the first two TPBs. I don't know what Radiohead is. I don't know what Sandman is about.
from fan4 :
In case you were wondering, I found your diary via a banner. I think it had Katchoo from SiP on it.
from fan4 :
Hi there. Are you a Strangers in Paradise fan? Your template image looked familiar, but in color.
from msdezine :
Hi Pushpull! I found you via tvzero, whom I've been reading since day one. Anyway, I'm glad I found another LA diarylander to read. It's always interesting to read about the places I am familiar with from someone else's viewpoint. I'll be back to read more later! -MsD
from tragiclovest :
LOL! Love your answers to the survey... if you want to see all the correct answers, take a look at diasyrm's answers... :) Keep an eye open for the rest of my survey quizzes...
from tragiclovest :
well, I don't know if ya noticed or not, but I put my first trivia survey up! Expect more pretty soon, and I welcome any ideas you have! *HUGS* :)
from flnangel :
thanks for the note, yes, I am seriously considering buying it. I live in L.A. too, did you go to school in L.A.?
from wyndhover :
I clicked on your banner because the very idea of not clicking on a SiP banner was unthinkable. I'm impressed with what I've found, and I think I'll stay awhile. :)
from dani-lou :
I stumbled onto your site today. I really like it! The design is good too, I'm not sure why you don't care for it. Hugs, Dani.
from herkinerf :
Hey there! Just wanted to say thanks for the note and for letting me know that you got a kick out of my blabbering on about retarded coworkers. The encouragement to continue being a snot nose is welcome :)
from tragiclovest :
Oooh... I LOVE playing the real Mah Jongg, but I've never been able to play against other players, just an old computer game I have. I want to get a set of tiles, eventually. I still am not good at strategy, and I don't know all of the special limit hands. But if you're ever on this side of the country, we can get together and play! ;)
from sketchbang :
Hey, it's me the Radiohead Reviewer, Sketchbang. Glad to share the love with another fan. I speak the truth, if this'll be your first time seeing them, then be prepared to have your innocence swept away in a sea of transcendent bliss. No show has ever been nearly as good as Radiohead's. Ack. I pumped that you're going. Thanks for linking to me. I like publicity, it makes me feel special.
from tragiclovest :
I read your "about me" section, and have a question for you... you said that you love to play MahJongg... is that the actual Game of Winds, or is that the matching game using MahJongg tiles?
from girlwcurls :
hey :-) i just wanted to say thanks for giving me a review. i didn't mind that it took a while, i actually was impressed that you read so much! i'm adding you to my favorites as well (not because you gave me a good review, but because i enjoy your diary).
from almost-sane :
thanks for stopping in- I like your diary too!
from yvette18 :
thank you so much for reviewing my diary, i really appreciate it.
from jane-does :
Oh, a belated birthday message from me too... :) Radiohead tickets??? *green with envy* :) Happy Birthday!
from kate-san :
happy late birthday. :)
from beagle47 :
oh, and by the way, happy birthday! (tomorrow)...
from jane-does :
I really thank you for your comments about me in your diary. It is very encouraging to know you think so. :) About the book... I am truly praying that it does as much for you as it has done for me. It's a little painful, a little touchy, and very life-changing. I truly hope that it helps you to get through some of the tough spots in your life. ((HUGS))- Jane
from delicaterevu :
Well, to be a reviewer, ya need to email us with 3 reasons why you would want to be one. :) Then leave your diary URL again, a mini bio so we know about ya, and an email addy. Well, in the email it'll show your email addy, but lol, please put it in the email itself. hope to hear from you soon! oh yes, although I did quit, *kim*, I will still answer the emails to help out jen. So email me at kimberlita100@hotmail.com . thank you.
from beagle47 :
thank you for the nice note and thoughts. i follow the first rule of writing...write what you know. i figure it's not much, but i sure am glad when i get notes and favorite links like yours. peace, push. (and i really mean that).
from pandaman27 :
Wow...I found my review about the moment it was posted. Anycows, thanks for the review. I'm suprised it didn't make your eyes bleed as it does mine. I'd write more, but the blood is stating to gt in my ey and i cat se anmore... (By the way, Graceland roxxors my soxxors)
from jane-does :
I read your 8/16 entry just now. You sound SO much like me!!! Only, in the 'before.' Before it got really awful. Please, please... read "Co-dependent No More." It's an easy read, and it may help you see some patterns in your relationship. In trying to control his drinking, YOU are being controlled. I wish we could sit down and talk. You'll find that you DON'T have to live your life this way. That you CAN find happiness, even in your relationship, whether he quits drinking or not. You are not responsible for HIS choices. Okay, I really hope you think about what I have said. You know that, even online, I care about you. We are just so much alike. I have been where you are now, and it is such a terrible place. Please, look into that book. You will be amazed at how much it helps you. (((HUGS)))
from bansheerose :
Hey thanks for the review!
from autumn-kitty :
Penche Pendejo? I love it, I always get strange looks when I curse someone in Spanish, though...being a blonde-haired, green-eyed, small white girl. But it's fun. Thanks for the HR info offer, and sorry it took so long for me to get back to ya. I've had my own gambling trip to plan and get a few people coordinated with, and it's just been hectic. I have no idea what direction I'll be going in, I know that I don't want to work in mental health anymore, I'm crazy enough as is. I do still want to work with people, so HR, PR, and pharmaceutical sales are probably going to be my focus. But who knows!
from jane-does :
Finally caught up on your diary. I need to favoritize you. :) I am glad that things between you and M seem better. (((you)))
from spunki-monki :
Hey! Argh, my diary, it's all messed up. Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately I'm going to Disneyland Paris, otherwise I would certainly be looking forward to it. Take care.
from indie-snob :
Hey there! I just saw Paloalto perform with Supergrass and thought you may be interested in reading my review. I have a bunch of other concert and album reviews here too, including Radiohead and Mogwai. Check it out, thanks!
from thecity :
Pretty much TheCity just got a new layout. Thanks for the suggestions though.
from thecity :
That's weird about the layout..the only problem is I don't know how to fix it...thanks for mentioning it though.
from thecity :
Love for that layout. xxoTheCity
from killiansred :
ummm.. standard lines. your diary is hell cool
from girldivided :
Awe thanks hehe. Your layout is awesome btw. Someday I will figure it all out and be...well..less frustrated :)
from naridu :
hehehe thanks :) *still giddy*
from roundcircle :
hello. i just wanted to say what a blessing it was to read your note on my diary. your responce was the exact thing i look for when i write. thank you for that. also thank you for a diary of openess and honesty in a world that breeds lies and stupid drama. thank you for being real. andy
from girldivided :
Hey there! Thanks for leaving me note on my wee part on the web! Makes a girl feel kinda special inside. Hey! I noticed you have a suicide girl's link! Verra cool. I know one of the models, Ginger. Take care!
from jane-does :
I can't believe they went snooping around in your diary and THEN got pissed about it. Remember my disclaimer? They had NO right to be there, so they get what they get. Good grief. What a mess. I moved MY site in hopes that the same will never happen to me. Good luck, sweetie.
