Stumbled on your diary. Very interesting.
from coronakym :
So...you don't know me. At all. So, this is definitely random and totally out of the blue. But I stumbled upon your diary and I feel for you because I've been in a similar situation myself. I can't do much to help with many of your problems. But one thing I can do is offer to share my Hulu subscription with you :) Message me, and I will give you the login email and password. You can create your own profile on my account if you want. It's not much, but hopefully, it will help, at least a little. ~Kym

He plays video games and texts while you're there? That's not a sign he's not interested. It's a sign he's a guy. All guys are 14 year old boys, no matter how old they are. But...he should at least have disguised that fact a little longer. This was your first extended stay, right? If he can't drag his gaze away from "Battle Tanks Galactica" now, just think what it'll be like in 3 years when he REALLY starts taking you for granted. You'll long for those halcyon days when an overbearing mom at least made you feel like someone knew you existed. I'd use him as a much needed escape valve for the moment, but keep your eyes open. If he continues paying more attention to a pixellated sprite than something with REAL tits, you're better off jumping ship. And don't lose heart. It may seem like we're all jerks, but...oops, wait a minute. Got a text I gotta respond to. I'll catch ya later, ok babe? Thanks....
from bibles :
good luck getting out of the house!
from minstrelite :
I see. And of course, you know your dad. It was just something that popped into my head more-or-less randomly.
from minstrelite :
I read a book on 'male friendships' once, and the ingredient of loyalty is very strong. It might be that, though your dad pouted, he would disdain from confronting his friend for fear it might be interpreted as betrayal. Of course, I merely speculate. By the way, I clicked on you because I was drawn into the name 'sacredspiral' - then read the profile and one entry and decided you're probably pretty cool.

I honestly can't speak for the experience of the entire military, but I can tell you that at the two duty stations I've been at (both in the "Deep South"), you're persecuted if you ARE a Christian. In fact, it was harder to be Christian than any other religion because of the intense dislike of preachy Christians. Everyone got lumped together. The base chapel was a joke. However, if you were pagan, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, whatever, you got respect-- mostly because people didn't understand what those religions were, but everyone knows what Christianity is about. Yeah, I have to say that my experience with the military (again, in the Deep South) is that being an open Christian paints a big huge target on your forehead. (In case it bears mentioning, I am not a Christian, so I have a relatively unbiased point of view.)

Hi, I stopped by from the "recent public entries" list. I am constantly looking for halfway decent diaries to read here because Diaryland has just tanked. My diary is locked on account of too many real-life people knowing the URL but if you're interested in reading, I can get the info to you. Good luck waiting for Halloween to find out if you've been excepted!

Good Luck with the storm. This is my first official hurricane and i'm so nervous. i feel stupid for being so, but my stomach is just knotted all up. But, sit tight and we can compare our own war stories when this is all over!

http://mcearstix.diaryland.com/index.html this girl just dyed her hair blue, you can see the before and after to see if you like it...
from aliop33 :
Oh Girl! I have to tell you that i have dyed my hair almost every color they make. i don't suggest blue, unless you do it over dark hair. i did blue on bleached hair. it looked good for like a day. the blue hair dye quickly washed out to a robin egg's blue color and then to this weird sort of green color. It was weird, i hated it and quickly changed it back to a pink of sorts. I love dying my hair, i wish i could do it now... along with getting my piercings back. but the job...the job won't let me. Where are you looking to work, cause some places don't care about that sort of thing, ya know? i work in Palm Beach, so you can just imagine what i have to deal with here. Good luck!
from aliop33 :
H and I just went and got us some t shirts at hot topic this past weekend. I got a family guy shirt with Stewy covered in shit and it says "i'm a filthy little boy" and H got one with a monkey that says "there's an evil monkey in my closet" I love the tshirts! but agree with you, they have WAY TOO MANY band shirts and i never heard of any of them. I guess i'm sort of out of the loop since internet radio, ipod and a fuck ton of cds. I don't even listen to the radio anymore.
from aliop33 :
That sucks! What a coward. Sorry to hear, but sometimes its better off cause at least its early and you haven't invested too much time/energy ya know? sorry. feel better....blessed be~
from aliop33 :
wow. that is pretty in depth. I'm not so used to meditation yet, it's sort of hard for me, but last night we did a visualization for our townhouse closing and so far, it's all good. last night it actually felt like it worked, so i know it takes time. as for you and your meditation - that is so cool! i would think that the rune is for you to keep in contact with the spirit guide you met. or maybe it has to do with the new people you have met. i mean, both of the people you met you have been using a lot of different communications with. i don't know...i'm sure you will figure it out soon though!
from aliop33 :
cool. i'm going to try it. once i move we will have a meditation/alter room! i can't wait to do something in it. what sort of task did you have to do? i frequently speak with my spirit guides, but not very well. i'm trying to learn more. thanks for the info
from aliop33 :
what is the meditation like? I'm very interested in it...let me know if it's not too difficult
from aliop33 :
I don't mean you messed up or anything like that. what i meant was that sometimes when we lose stones, it isn't because of something bad, but merely that someone else is in need of it, more need than you have and they will feel that energy and go there. This happened to Heather once. We were visiting my parents in NJ one year and she had just bought three stones. We left NJ and went to a freinds. We got there and the stones were gone. we checked everywhere, both at friends, in car and in NJ and the stones were gone. when we got back to florida and went to the place up on US1 and PGA the lady who runs the shop said that stones go where they are needed. and that the stones she was carrying were important for someone else now and not to worry about losing them. i tend to think this is right. good luck with this fella. Heather has a lot of anger towards Christians too and it's hard not to when you see all they have done in the name of "God". i try to just let them be. They will figure it out for themselves when they are ready.
from aliop33 :
someone once told me that stones go to where they are needed, maybe that is what is happening here.
from aliop33 :
Sounds like our house. H and I always say, "We are eclectic" but what i think we really mean is, "we have a lot of crap that is different from each other".
from aliop33 :
I'm sorta glad that the other girl won, of course i don't remember her name right now! She seemed so much happier once she figured out what she was going to do with her life. Jeanne's Secrets - the first time i went there, I was very put off. Jeanne had said some pretty rude things to us and I vowed never to go back. But then we did go back and our experience was soooo much better. Now, I do go there occasionally, although not as often as i should. but i like it, more than any other place i have found yet anyway.
from aliop33 :
Oh my Goddess?! Did you see it last night? It was so good. But i don't want to say anything unless you saw it so let me know! Damn, I hope they do mad mad house again, it was so good.
from aliop33 :
I'm gonna miss it too. I hope someone good wins. I hate when the meddler wins at the end. then they get all defiant like they are better than. I want to go on the show!
from aliop33 :
Do you think that the guy that was kicked off last night is really addicted to cold medicine or do you think he was just trying to play it up in the beginning to show change like he said. I guess if that was the case, he didn't do a good job cause now he is gone! And what about the girl they all hate? I think that is just who she is, nothing more. i don't really think she is hiding anything or faking anything.
from aliop33 :
sorry about the double! Yeah, i too was glad they kicked off the Vet. Especially after he said to the primitive that he could do the spiritual hang for $100 grand. what an ass. he didn't get why he was there.
from aliop33 :
I just wanted to thank you for writing about "Mad Mad House" in your diary. I am now totally addicted. Thank goddess they kicked off that crazy republican girl. she was nutz. hope you are well. blessed be

from aliop33 :
Yeah, you know what is even scarier (somewhat anyway) is that Palm Beach County is ALWAYS on Cops! There is so much crime and stuff around here, which is so weird because Palm Beach is right here, but maybe that is why. have a good weekend.
from aliop33 :
Your father and my wife's must be related. I guess it really is a Jewish Thing! He makes her get everything for him, and what makes it even worse is that A)she works for him and B)we live in the same building as he does. We go down to their condo to give them something and they make us take out the trash! Unbelievable!
from aliop33 :
I am from Palm Beach, but my wife works in Lake Worth...so i'm there a lot. And of course, i go shopping and all around there cause that's where all the stores are. but i'm originally from nj/ny area. Have a great weekend! Blessed Be~
from aliop33 :
Hi, I was wondering why don't you go to City Place and go to Barnes and Noble? Isn't the Palm Beach Mall where all those people got robbed a year or so ago? I have never gone there cause of that. I live near Lake Worth and am Wicca too. It's cool to know that there are more of us out there than just me and my wife! Blessed Be~
from blancomeow :
i bumped into your diary, and just wanted to say that i think Wicca is an excellent religion. i personally am an athiest, but i dabbled in Wicca for a little while. And i have to say, if i were religious, that'd be my religion. Better than catholicism, if you ask me!!
from alanna01 :
Awesome. I have all four in that series. The fouth one wasn't as good as the others, but I liked it. For what you asked me, I don't think you talk about it too little or too much. Either way I think as long as you know what you think, you don't need to write it down. If you talk about Wiccan a lot only to talk about it and show that you are wiccan, then what's the point? I dunno what I'm sayin, but oh well. lol. Blessed be!
from alanna01 :
