Hey there! Well I applied for your diary ring, poetic, about a weeka ago. I was just wondering if you had accepted me yet, and if you didnt want to accept me why not? I put the link code thingy lol on as soon as I applied. here are a few of my other poems that you may not have seen on my diary: I wanna touch the sky, but its just outa reach. I wanna capture the sun, but its just too big. I wanna feel that love but its been taken away. I try & try, but still I stand right where I began. I really didnt think i cared so much. So why does it hurt so much. Thoes snickers when i fail and fall. The feeling as if no one cares at all. Its all been a lie. Everything i thought i was. I really thought there was more. But take it all away & see what remains. The hallow shell of what i used to be -thats not one of my favorites just to like go back and read but it meant alot to me when I wrote it. heres one more, its one of my favorites: I have no control. The winds of this storm push and pull at me. They overpower me. My screams can not be heard. My tears can not be seen. My body can not be touched. The walls of this storm are surrounding me, continusly growing higher. Becoming more and more enescapable. Shutting me off from everything i hold dear. Leaving me alone with me. The screams of this storm have grown so loud I cant even hear them anymore. They are part of me, I am part of it. I am this storm. This horrible storm is me
from tuluum :
i KNEW you were over at LJ :) I made the shift about a month and half ago... i'm tuluum over there as well, feel free to add me :)
from captvfirefly :
Ok, where have you been? I hope all is well. Just thought I'd let you know I was thinking about you, and I hope everything is good. :)
from rabinder :
Weee! It's a lovely guinea-pig and it should be called a guinea-pig because they are so lovely.
from captvfirefly :
I hope you have a great time tonight!! Meet some good men now, OK? I look forward to hearing all about it. :)
from rabinder :
I'm boring and pedantic, I know. But the picture you got from google that you said was a bunny, is actually a Guinea Pig :) Sorry to be annoying!
from mixup :
tony silenced
from captvfirefly :
I tried to sign your guestbook, but it gave me that "you can't sign again that fast", so here I am in your notes. :) I just wanted to say I hope you have a great, fun, safe trip! :)
from liaklunk :
I'm so sorry cutie. :( I hope you feel better soon.
from virginmary :
major suckage. MAJOR. so sorry....
from garyhoare :
A wireless router is the only way to go. You plug it into the DSL modem. Then you plug the desktop computer into the router. Then you get a wireless card for the laptop and you can use the internet anywhere in your house. A wireless router will set you back around $100, about $50 for the card plus the cost of couple of ethernet cables (maybe $10). The only thing is to make sure the service provider allows you to share the connection between computers (I think most do.) You can also get a wired version of the router if you only want to use the laptop at one specific location in the house. It's cheaper, but less flexible.
from captvfirefly :
Yay! I am so happy that you're happy! It's about damn time you found a boy who was worthy. And just so you know, there was really only one person whose commment on my entry pissed me off, and it wasn't yours. You were right, I should relax. So, I just want you to know I still want your comments. :) And, I hope you feel better soon!!
from chehedgehog :
Your reaction is paranoia. (Hmm.., I was going to say, "you are paranoid." They both convey the same meaning, which sounds more polite?)
from mixup :
I do think you're overreacting a bit. I do all sorts of weird searches when I'm bored, and so do a lot of other people I know. Maybe the person's last name is the same as yours (I know three others beside you) and they got drawn in while looking for relatives or ego-surfing. I think this comes with the territory of having a public blog -- and you either deal with it, or you don't.
from silentone :
Hey, How well does that B-12 shot work? Thinking of Gary... Mel
from captvfirefly :
Thanks for the public advice - I think you're right. And I didn't really think about it before, but I guess I *do* kinda glow when I talk about John. The more I think of him, the more I like him. I think I'm just going to go with it and see what happens. And? I'm glad things with the boy are working out! And I'll tell you this much - some people "just know", and sometimes (like for me), it takes us a little while to see it. But, if you "know" then go with it. I'm excited for you!!
from guitarphreak :
hey. i like your site...i was wondering: how do you make all the diaryrings so neat like that?? -nix
from p0etik :
April-I read through a bunch of your entries the other day, trying to catch up on your life. I haven't seen or talked to you in a while. Although, I did not search your name on a search engine for your diary, I just went through my buddy list. Unfortunately I do not know what my IP address is, so I can't confirm that for you. I just wanted to let you know. We should get together sometime? Take care, Becky
from mixup :
No problem. I'll send on the website I sue to research this stuff (a simple "whois" search that at least tells you where the computer originates).
from yvette18 :
hey there, this is yvette18 from the spark just saying hello. I am being a good sparkler, and getting to know my peeps better.
from slkj131 :
I LOVE your Frog-Theory. It makes sense. Thank you... you've helped me brighten my outlook on relationships, or lack there of in mine at the moment!
from madam-rose :
lol great diary. good luck finding new layout
from silentone :
sorry about boy. hey, how's the new flea market shaping up? i'm designing cards!
from liaklunk :
virgos do tend to be very organized about their time. however, if they see something that they feel needs to be 'fixed' or 'changed' they'll focus in on that. AKA maybe he wants you to learn to be spontaneous? No clue, just a guess.
from virginmary :
okay, so i'm reading: hip to knit, the yarn girls' guide to simple knits, and stitch-n-bitch. can you sense a theme? :)
from liaklunk :
congrats on the boy! :)
from leofire :
Hi there! I applied to your fabulous "poetic diary ring" some time ago and was wondering if I was approved or declined. My diary is http://leofire.diaryland.com if you would like to see it. Thanks much for the consideration. :)
from virginmary :
fyi - i just logged in to your diary after reading you username/pw combo in 2 guestbooks (2weasels and rachelliz). figured if you read them and they read you, i'd like you too. will be adding you to my favorites!
from liaklunk :
can i get in too???
from somnambulist :
Gyagh! Another one locks up. And you forgot me on the list - can you please email me the pwd? Just use my "standard" diaryland email that works for everyone (I'd leave it here, but don't want some spambot reading it). Thx...
from retrogame :
Wasn't me - I have the URL memorized
from liaklunk :
9 ish is good. I'll pick you up?
from liaklunk :
How does Wednesday look? Looks good on this end. :)
from liaklunk :
absolutely, I'd love too! What day/time?
from youscareme :
You can do it April! I have faith in you. Last year, I wrote almost 14,500 words on the last day, and finished with 30 minutes to spare. Just remove all distractions, and ask someone to help keep you on task. Good luck. :)
from silentone :
Don't quit! You were ahead of me, so I guned it. I only need 15,000 more words and you're my fuel! Here's an idea: So then they try this new restaurant and their dinners have just arrived when guess who walks in the door...? BTW, do you still have my Halloween stuff from the flea market?
from duranfanatic :
Since you were rachel's inspiration to join NaNo, and she was mine, I have to back her up on this. Don't give up now! We want to finish these stories...don't we? ;) If we can make it (and we will), so can you!
from rachelliz :
Damn signmyguestbook. What I said in the guestbook that I'm not sure you got was: DON'T QUIT!!!! DO NOT QUIT! You are my inspiration, if you quit, I QUIT!!!!
from chehedgehog :
Regarding the questioning folks, asking what you are doing, just tell them you are doing what you enjoy. You do not have to explain your art or what brings you joy to anyone.
from keltao :
okay, what is the link for the novel site..? and sorry if I hurt your brain... it was a long strange car trip with me and Lia and 15 years of processing.... But thanks for the Krispy Creme and the Dunkin Donuts!.... peace.... -C
from joleen :
Hey, I signed your guestbook earlier, but I don't think it 'took'. Damned things are so hit or miss lately. Anyway, I found you through SixWeasels, and I wanted to wish you luck on your novel! I signed up for the first time last night and I'm up to about 1657 words so far. Mine's fictionalized autobiography, but it's fun so far. Once you change names it becomes a real story. Have fun!!
from jessnichole :
I tried writing in the sparks guestbook but it wasn't working.. grrr. so here is what I was trying to write! :) :"April.. you're an Avon lady? :) Cool! So am I! Avon ladies of the world unite! haha. " End quote.. haha. Now that've I posted the same message 3 times... it bothers me. haha.
from golfwidow :
I tried twice to sign your guestbook without luck, but they may show up later. Sorry if that happens and this winds up looking redundant. http://www.globalchocolates.com/balls.htm
from sayuri1181 :
I'd love to read your novel-in-progress once it's up...may I have a password, please?
from liaklunk :
yes, yes, please leave me password... me want novel! me want cookie too. ... nevermind. ;S
from p0etik :
That might be fun. Give me a call and we will come up with something. Bex
from captvfirefly :
I think signmyguestbook ate the message I just left for you SO, here it is again in notes. I decided today that I'm going to do the NaNoWriMo thing! I'm nervous (never done anything like it before), but I figure what the hell? :) I'm in!
from journ-proj :
Thank you! I've added you onto the list for 15, and No. 1 will be going out Saturday. I'll let you know where that book is going so you have an idea of tracking...~j.p.~
from journ-proj :
Hi. There are some issues with the journal you signed up for. Please read about them here at the link below: http://journ-proj.diaryland.com/030917_50.html Please respond per the entry instructions. If there's no response by Friday, September 19, then your name will be dropped from the list. Thank you, the journal project
from liaklunk :
Becky's is a go if you still wanna go!! :)
from evangeline :
Oh, ack, I'm so excited. Hopefully I don't say anything stupid. And, my gawd, the Krispy Kreme donuts that they pull off the belt with the stick are the greatest thing ever. How people ate breakfast without KK is beyond me... (It so would not let me leave this in your guestbook. *grr*)
from evangeline :
Aww, squish, I made it back onto the diaries you read!
from youreviews :
Hey I just stumbled across your site, and I just wanted to let you know about YouReviews, its a brand new review site that is just dieing to get out in the open, so we were wondering would you like to be one of the first to be reviewed? If so go to http://youreviews.diaryland.com/ we are hoping to be hearing from you soon!
from liaklunk :
looking for a travel buddy for journalcon?
from captvfirefly :
Oh, I forgot to answer your question - No, I haven't bought any credits yet. It's free to respond to someone who wrote to you (unless they do what's called a "collect call" which I'm guessing means they're too cheap to buy credits, so they message you in hopes you'll pay to see what they have to say. Or something like that), and I haven't had the urge to contact anyone else yet. Course, I haven't done much searching yet. I have better luck with men who contact me rather than the other way around. But, who knows.
from molzo :
Your list is great! You know, you have me all intruiged with this personals stuff. I might try it, just for the fun of it!
from golfwidow :
I tried to sign your guestbook ... just once ... and it said I "couldn't sign again this fast". Don't know what's up with that. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for supporting me.
from callmekat :
Nice to see that there is another person out there over 24 who thought they would be married with a child by now :)
from katehackett :
Rawr! i signed up for your BookCrossing. Let me know when you're finished with those books, babe!
from mixup :
Um...Bono is only two years older than Jon Bon Jovi. For that matter, I'm only three months older than Bono. Nice to be relegated to the nursing home early ;-)
from garyhoare :
Hey. April. Thanks for the Secret Santa present. I shall cherish it always. Or at least once a month.
from tuluum :
but sushi is soooo goooood :)

The reason no one eats the Toaster Strudels is that they SUCK, IMHO.
from akamuu :
@<@ @v@ @>@ @^@ You're being watched. Don't worry, though, I'm sure it's not by an red-headed poets from Boston. That would be ridiculous. --Adam.
from liaklunk :
Hey girlfriend! 2 things, 1. finished Ella Minnow Pea. Excellent! I need to return it to you... thank you for lending it to me. 2. Did you still want to borrow Alex to help out with your business. He's cravin' some work. (and driving me nuts) Thanks cutie. L
from mixup :
If you like, I can order some guitar strings from there and you can pick them up for me...
from moviegrrl :
I'm tired and quite obviously the world's biggest fucking pedant, but just thought I's mention that the readinglist is the UKs 100 favourite books as voted by the UK public through the BBC. that's all - off to crawl under my stone again now....
from silentone :
Hey, how's the garden faring? Hope all is well. Mel

I hear you, girl...trying to finish a column, a CD review, and go read in the Providence Slam tonight, and all the while my head's the approximate density of a grapefruit, and just as mushy. Good luck.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my dubious love sent to me; five haploid Great Danes! Four gold-plated baths, three dangerous toenail clippings, two dripping-wet statues and a cello in a tube train.

I agree that alarm clocks should have setable snooze alarms. Mine is 7 minutes and it drives me crazy cause it's just about enough time to slip back into a coma, I mean sleep, but not long enough for it to be anything more than a tease. Asylum Auction this Sunday (5/25). Come on down - you can get good stuff cheap. :-)
from mixup :
Wait till the first 30+ page diatribe on the philosphical importance of selfishness to human endeavor. You'll LOVE it. ;-)
from mixup :
April, you and I are so different...I loved the Sound and the Fury, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man is on my top ten all time favorite books list, and I wouldn't read Atlas Shrugged again if you paid me 10,000 dollars and stuck hot pokers under my nails.
from bluering :
(the guestbook hates me!) I have. I've read the Sound and the Fury. When I was done with it, and irritated by it, I tossed it into a box and forgot all about it. I was so annoyed by how it would switch back and forth between the things Benjy had memories of. I think I finally lost it, but kept reading to finish it, during the whole thing about Caddy and the damned perfume. I'm all for disjointed because I tend to write that way at times, but not like that. It isn't so bad once you get past the whole Benjy and everything he remembers section, but it's still grating. I wouldn't blame you if you chucked it.
from garyhoare :
Come watch the Buffy The Vampire Slayer finale at The Castle Cinema tonight (5/20/03) at 7:00 p.m. It's FREE and it's right near my house.

from anselm23 :
The in-line scroll is almost certainly the problem. If there were anything past the question where you asked if the font and such were better, I wouldn't have been able to see it at all. I hope this information is helpful.
from tuluum :
it doesn't have to do with the size of the font (re: macs) it's the inline scroll you have.
from javabill :
april, you think my random surrealism generator is strange? yours just gave me this... "Do you mind if I have fun with you?" your diary is hitting on me. -bill
from anselm23 :
April, I am having a lot of trouble reading your diary these days; the scroll bars do not translate into my browser, and so much more than the first paragraph or so becomes invisible. Just thought you'd like to know.
from anselm23 :
Alas, I am not reading her diary; I feel awkward about asking someone for a key to their diary, and I'm not sure which would be worse -- being allowed in, or being refused. I'll make the request in person when I next see Rushelle, but I don't want to ask by e-mail, as it feels weird.
from raven72d :
"array" is rather an excellent word.
from mixup :
I think I'm the only person using the notes feature anymore -- I can't seem to access your guestbook. Anyway, wanted to say we should discuss movies sometime...because we have the exact OPPOSITE taste in them. I loathed "Greek Wedding" and thought "Nurse Betty" was great -- in a real rarity for me, I've seen it six times. Not a critique at al; just think it's so consistent that it would be interesting to understand why. (Fortunately, my wife and I concur.)
from mixup :
About NoCal...my thoughts exactly. And you're welcome at SPEAK; you don't even need to read, there are several who just come to hang. It's very low pressure.
from mixup :
guess what? i'm on hanover too, and the last registration I did was a brand new one, not a transfer...
from mixup :
Y'know, I've bought many cars, from dealers and private parties; I bought one of them just last year. Never ONCE have I ever had to have pictures taken of the car ahead of time for the insurance company. That strikes me as pretty odd. In addition, I drove a car for over a month without a title during a struggle over the title with the previous owner in Florida...the dealership simply kept giving me bills of sale that allowed me to drive with my existing plates for the next grace period. I think you're getting hosed somehow. On the other hand, they always ask if you are taking the rental car out of state.
from p0etik :
Hey Congrats on the car!!! You will be driving my dream car. Enjoy and let me know if you need a co-pilot! Becky
from rwgill :
Congrats on the car. Everyone needs to pamper themselves at some point.
from mixup :
Good for you. Now maybe you'll come down to SPEAK sometime, in all your spare time...!
from liaklunk :
GOOD FOR YOU!! YOU GO GIRL!!! I'm so happy for you! I want a ride!! *lol*
from liaklunk :
Buy the brand new PT Cruiser. You can afford it, your circumstances are at the best point right now that you should buy BRAND NEW! Give it to yourslef cutie, you deserve it!
from yosho-jurai :
Hello, I applied to join your poetic diaryring. My name is Kenji and I have included the code in my diary as well as a poem. This is the link to my poem/diary, http://yosho-jurai.diaryland.com/030321_41.html I hope that you please review it and accept me ^_^. Take care.
from liaklunk :
Friday's wicked busy, but I could use the candy, people are starting to SCREAM for candy since we're almost out. Can I stop by in the am, around 9ish (or is that too early?) Let me know. Thanks! *hugs!*
from miss-miami :
Oh, also you should check out the Great Big Sea version of It's The End Of The World As We Know It. GBS is a Newfoundland band, and we have a huge east coast music thing going on here in Newfoundland. It's vaguely Irish...well anyway, try to do a KaZaA search on it. It sounds cool.
from lip :
I got a secret santa present from bluering! =)
from somnambulist :
cough, soMnambulist, cough... :) .... though it's still better than the person who searched the term "somnombolist." Heh, heh.
from anselm23 :
Dearest April, I would love to have your help in putting together a chapbook. Let me get my act together and create a document of all the poems I want in it, and get back to you. Thank you. And of course I will pay you.
from nicedream06 :
p.s. do you like netflix? does it work ok? i've heard mixed reviews about it. (couldn't sign your guestbook again this soon, sorry.)
from anselm23 :
Already covered that in class today... "Lindsay Stone is a man, guys." "She's a what??" "He. He. He is a man." "Dude, no way!"
from liaklunk :
Friday sounds great if you'd like to do breakfast! Let me know. :)
from liaklunk :
Hey cutie, can't go on a Thursday night. Hope everyone has fun, I'll be thinking of you all. :)
from anselm23 :
Olive Garden on 23rd (Thursday? Please let it be a thursday) or the 24th (Friday? Friday should be fine) would be great. And a kid passed me in the hall today and said, "This book is sorta cool." He showed me gray cover -- Measures of Central Tendency. So you've got fans you don't even know. Cheer up.
from liaklunk :
(light's a fire under Gary's feet) Ah, first in line! I'll goto Olive Garden with you! Any time! Let me know!
from garyhoare :
Oo! Oo! Olive garden! Pick me! Pick me!
from liaklunk :
Hey April! I just bumped into your Mom at the Post Office! Pretty cool!
from anselm23 :
Dear April, If you look back in my diary a few entries, you'll find a brief review of Ella Minnow Pea, the book about the vanishing alphabet, which I put in there specially for you. I hope you saw this already, and I'm thankful for the advice about the internet personals thing. Thanks very much.
from rwgill :
Netflix rocks! I've been a member for close to 2 years and I've been very happy with them. I have tons of reasons why I like them, the primary one being that there always movies in my house that I want to watch. If I get the urge to watch a movie at 3 a.m. because I can't sleep I know there's something sitting on top of the TV. Ditto when I'm home sick or just playing hooky. :-) Drop me a note if you want to know the rest of the reasons and I'll send you an email.
from liaklunk :
Hey cutie, I want to take you out for a drink/coffee sometime and have a really nice long chat. Dri's going into school monday, wednesdays, and fridays, so I have some daytime available... Plus evenings on occations. Please either email me or call me... thanks tons. *hugs*
from starxlover20 :
Hey, I forgot to send you this (for secret santa ring) I got a Sea Monkey Aquarium from abendbrot (Stacey) around 11/15 ( give or take!) yay.
from rwgill :
New Year's Eve option #4 - come to the First Night Worcester poetic goings on. See http://www.poetsasylum.org for the times and line up. Or if you don't want to do the poetry thing all night then just come to First Night and mingle.
from p0etik :

from mixup :
Well, I think I'm going to New Orleans for New Year's Eve. That's always fun.
from liaklunk :
[email protected] sorry... I gave up trying to get the hotmail address back.
from mixup :
Congrats on the Novel!!! a notable accomplishment. Now come to SPEAK on Wednesdays nights, and be a poet, too. (Seriously, congrats!)
from anselm23 :
I'll tell you what, I'll forgive you your failure to communicate if I get to read your novel when you're done with it. I wish I'd been keeping better track of the whole National Novel Writing month. Next year, if you remind me sometime in October, I'll do this whole project along-side you, and maybe it'll be easier then. :-)
from liaklunk :
I got something in mind for a project for you, come and have breakfast with me sometime before Christmas... even if you just come over here to do it! *HUGS!*
from rapethismind :
I like yer diary. Just wanted to let ya know.
from javabill :
yeah, i'm selling paintings. got about 20 done so far. (my bedroom is packed with art) i'm home most nights if you want to poke through what i've got (& the prices are cheep 'coz i'm poor & need the space) -bill
from pink-rox :
hehe, I just saw one of your banners. so don't worry, it gets seen. yeah, i'm still reading. peace out.
from liaklunk :
Ok, no problem, I'll send in your tix. We need to do breakfast sometime when you have time. Let me know. :)
from mixup :
Oh, no...of course not. I wasn't referring to you, or jen, or anyone who responded frontchannel...I got a couple of e-mails (and since I don't put my contact info out here, it's people who know me...that's all I'll say) from people accusing me of being insensitive to pain. (Jeez.) I was just trying to make a statement about TRIUMPH -- so few ever seem to take on a need or desire to transcend their stuff. It's about wallowing versus succeeding -- I swear it's epidemic here. No offense meant (I wasn't including you in the category, anyway).
from liaklunk :
I've got 2 tickets for you :) Are you going to be around sometime Thursday in the am? Maybe we could do breakfast or something? Give me a buzz or drop me a line.
from yellowreview :
Your review was just added! *hugs*
from mixup :
Sorry it bothered you...All I was trying to say was that there's so much talk of misery in diaryland, and not nearly enough about triumph over it. The details of the misery don't matter...life sucks in one way or another for all of us; life is pain. I just think people should stop talking about it so much, and start getting over it. (Me too...I've been sick for so long I'm starting to disgust myself. As Anne Sexton said, "Live or die, but don't poison everything.")
from mixup :
A: "Gone With The Wind" is garbage from a historical point of view. B: Your concern with the fired doctor? Welcome to a reason you might want to care about politics. C: Being powerless to change it? Well, the press might want to hear the story...let's see how that hands you some power. Got any inside info? All sorts of power.
from secretsanta :
Thought you might be interested in participating...take a peek!

Pad Thai, Krispy Kreme, and writing... I'm quite charmed!

Hi! I like your site! I found the link on daisy642's guestmap. =) I was looking around on your quiz page - fun stuff! I wanted to let you know that your real age link doesn't work though. =( Just thought i'd drop a line - have a great day!!!!! =)
from liaklunk :
Here I am, talking and blabbing away again. :) I hope you feel better. Kev actually went to the Dr. on Friday for the same thing. (amazing, I know, the Dr if you can believe it) Anyway, let me know when you want the tix. Nov. 15th is the drawing at the Leicester Senior Center at the Lions pitch party. Should be a blast. If you know how to play come on down. There's not many single guys our age, but it's a hoot anyway. *laugh* *Hugs!*
from liaklunk :
I think your mom would have issues if you suddenly became 4 again. *wink*
from garyhoare :
Yo April, Is there a website for the wirte a novel thing that you're doing?
from picassomoon :
people who are snobby (i can't spell pretentious for sure either) don't wonder if they are... they KNOW THEY AREN'T so you must not be because you wonder if you are. Thats my .02 cents of it anyway.
from liaklunk :
Ok. this has nothing to do with Neil being free... or my hunk brother Dave (who works at the Walmart optical dept. in Oxford) either. This is the third time I've seen your banner pop up on my screen. It's a very cool thing. :)
from liaklunk :
oh please don't hate me *HUGS*
from liaklunk :
Neil is a free man, and looking for a date. :)
from garyhoare :
I recieved a nice t-shirt from an enigmatic Secret Santa which happens to have been mailed from Leicester. I wonder who it could be. Hmm...

I checked my death clock, which told me I've got about 15 years to live. Then I kept checking it to see if it would change randomly everytime. It did. Then, it came back and told me I was already dead. Dammit.

Hello from a fellow poet and Tori fan! Your poetry is enthralling! Keep writing!
from garyhoare :
Hey April, We're going up on Sunday to the Hampshire poetry thing if you want to come with us. Not sure exactly what time yet, but like, you know, whatever. -Gary
from rushelle :
Hey lady, How does it go? Hopefully not so stressful by the day's end I like your layout.
from neo-geek :
Hi, I just wanted to say that I really like your lay-out, actually, on second-thought I'm just starved for compliments and I figure by handing out notes to other people's I can get more people looking at mine, anyway, keep up the good work and don't hate me more than's warranted.
from garyhoare :
Re: I don't want to spend too much time inside your twisted mind. Sure you do. It's warm and crazy in here.
from garyhoare :
Well, I'll tell you right now that I make up a good portion of my diary. Go ahead try to figure out what's real and what's not. It's like that show that Jonathan Frakes hosts, "Fact or Fiction."
from p0etik :
Hey, I saw your banner on the top of the site, so I came by to tell you. Bex
from mistachel :
the reviewer obviously wasn't looking at your links when (s)he reviewed you. :)
from liaklunk :
FYI: new tax laws say medical and dental bills are write offable. Keep your receipts.
from why-not-me-2 :
your guestbook link isn't working...just thought you should know... there's nothing wrong with ending up alone with 37 cats...i'm personally thinking of changing that to my goal in life...you know, after 19 years (aka my whole life) of being single, i'm not sure i can hope for much else...
from liaklunk :
You are wonderful. XO
from garyhoare :
I'm bored too. How bored? Well let's just say that if I were challenged to come up with the number of fibers in tha carpet throughout the entire building, that I could probably do it.
from adiscoverer :
that's kinda like www.gimmeabuck.com...funny, these people are actually getting money too
from oceanfloor :
I don't feel sorry for that Karen girl either... how much courage could you have to get to beg like that. She can't afford to pay her bills, but yet can afford the internet? HELLO?! Someone needs to get their priorities straight. You're cool. http://oceanfloor.diaryland.com
from smushy :
Oo! I like the new look.. looks great (ps i was the reviewer from unique-views)
from liaklunk :
New layout looks awesome cutie! ... I'd put the 'currently' section in the 4th quarter ... but that's just my symetrical lip speaking. :)We doing breakfast anytime soon??

It's wrong. And the real reason they aren't dating him anymore is that he's the kind of prick who would do this.

Hey- my name's Christie. As a pure child of the '80's, the fact that you like 'Labyrinth' qualifies you as an honorary 80's child. It's all a state of mind. :-)
from sohappy8d :
You don't know me or anything - but The Phantom Tollbooth is my favorite movie, and I think it's great you've seen it. :-D
from intheory27 :
Speaking of rings...on your ring page, make sure your list links are to http://members.diaryland.com/edit/rings.phtml?ring=ringname instead of http://members.diaryland.com/edit/diaryring.phtml?ring=ringname. They're broken as they are now. Thanks much! :)

from solapro :
I totally understand the compulsion to resfresh at work. I am constantly seeking anything remotely new or entertaining to distract me from my desire to bolt out the door.

Isn't Hallelujah a Leonard Cohen song sung by John Cale on the Shrek soundtrack? I know I have known that song for years...long before Wainwright was born, I think.

Do what suits you. Take the job that sings best. Alternatively, flip a coin. If you don't like the results, do the other thing.
from mixup :
The second one. Do what works for you in all spheres of your life.
from garyhoare :
My question would be, "can I do my own thing during the downtime?" If I could write or something, I'd take the job with the fewer hours, especially if it paid just about the same. If, however, I was expected to "look busy" while I was there, I'd say, "pffft!"
from mixup :
that should be "letting" them find you. I loathe poor grammar, esp. subject verb tense disgreements and the like.
from mixup :
the truth about dating, if I remember correctly, is that you meet people by ceasing to look for them, and let them find you.
from liaklunk :
Keep the faith, ... there's always Neil ya know. *wink*
from liaklunk :
Hi girlfriend! Just wanted to drop a note to you... hope all's well. Talk to you soon! L
