you've listed me as a favorite diary...how sweet. now i'll go update it!
from nodressing :
hmmm, praying doesn't work? it usually does for me. not that i'm preaching or anything. if nothing else, maybe you can think of it this way...you didn't get that job, because there are better opportunities for you that He has in mind for you.
from lobo21 :
Things are starting to look encouraging! Good luck in your interview.
from lobo21 :
Oooh messy. I'm battling clogged drains in the bathroom because of our cats. they liked to sit in the sink and sometimes the litter on their paws gets in the drain. Arrgh.
from nodressing :
ha! i hear ya! writing up entries and destroying them, or choosing not to post. i had paper diaries, many of them, but to this day there's none left. some part of me is sad they're gone, but it was something i had to do in order to move on. maybe i'll leave a link to d-land in my will, so when i die my kids can read my entries, LOL....
from lobo21 :
Well I'm glad you keep coming back. Funny thing is I secretly love to write. Just wish I could do it well. Not so much the novel thing, but shorter magazine type articles. Essays and Insights. Who says you can't do both? The computer is a learned talent, I'm sure if writing is a natural talent you'll be able to coax out a novel.
from lobo21 :
Things change so slowly sometimes it makes you want to tear your hair out. Okay that might just be me, but I hope the job hunt turns something up for you soon. I'm still looking for the strength courage opportunity to change jobs too. Need to get some skills first. Hmm this could take a while.
from lobo21 :
Isn't life so strange that we think most days we just have bare ly enough time to live it than to actually enjoy living it, but on those odd moments when we realize one day we won't be living it anymore, it hits us hard. Well if you understood that ramble you're doing better than I. Good luck on the job hunt. Yeah I know about the 21, and I'm 36 now. Guess I'll always feel 21 inside, well hopefully I will.
from nodressing :
oh, and uh...they're from the east coast too. ;)
from nodressing :
i have a brother james who's b-day is in april, and who recently moved in with his girlfriend...who has a sister. strange, huh?
from damonjones :
Just tell your boyfriend that as far as craziness in the family is concerned it stops with her. <lol> Just tell him the truth. I am sure he can handle it.
from chibizuum :
I love the new layout. It's very neat, and I love the picture. I also like the witty saying thing. ^^
from behindblue :
ah yes, mindless part time jobs...i have definitely had my share of those. lol so, how is everything?
from rtm1981 :
I have the EXACT same shyness (at least it seems like it). If I know someone I know is on the street outside my house, I stand in the hallway until they leave to avoid smalltalk. I HATE picking up the phone (even though I know who it is [cellphone] most of the time). I've been like this all of my life. My unsocial behaviour is a main reason to my breakup with Katie I think. I can be very social with the people I know when I'm out and decided to have a nice time, but as far as getting to know/opening up to new people (outside a work-environment - because I rule there.. I'm the King)I really really suck bigtime. Good luck with the aprtment/James - I know the thrill of getting your first place. Our (not really "our" anymore) first place was a cute small apartment as well - peppered by Katie's decorational skills :) I remember cooking together to be one of the highpoints (and making love in our own place)
from raisinghell :
I read like half of your entry and could immediatly relate to you, because I do exactly the same thing. I'm just starting highschool, and I've decided to ditch the whole shyness thing too. Good luck with it, I hope it takes you far. ^.- Cheers.
from candoor :
merry happy new year to you :)
from taliana1 :
It's never too late to change what it is you want to do. Never.
from damonjones :
Poor girl. I feel your pain as a fellow student.
from candoor :
it is easily possible to gain or lose 5 pounds in a day, for water can vary body weight by that much... a long distance runner can drop as much as ten pounds in a long race, almost all of the weight would be water loss and drinking a half gallon of water over the course of several hours would put more than 5 pounds of weight back on a body (eating spicy foods helps retain water, as does hormonal releases during menstrual cycles)... well, there's an answer, anyway :)
from behindblue :
there is absolutely positively nothing wrong with being shy. that is who you are and you should accept it instead of telling yourself you have some kind of defect. i actually have social anxiety (which is like being shy times ten) and even after therapy i'll still probably just be a shy person. so don't feel bad! :)
from chibizuum :
Ugh, I'm underweight right now. And I eat a whole lot of stuff! O.o
from chibizuum :
I agree with vaweb. (Not much more to say there is there?) Also, I really enjoyed reading your diary, seriously I did... But ummm yes. x.x
from thespark :
e-mail me for some more information, in the meantime, I'll add you: [email protected]'t forget your username in the e-mail!
from vaweb :
I sympathise with you, I do, but maybe you shouldn't be so completely bothered about changing, just practise making phone calls. I used to get nervous about it, and sometimes still do (the beating in my heart which I can hear when I'm calling someone I don't know very well!), but once you think properly - 'what's the worst they could do to me?', then you realistically think that it's not all that bad!
from thespark :
I run a diary community. I'd like for you to join the ring.
from jadedxheart :
I feel for you with the unsolicited attempt at saving your soul. I think it's great when people try to help, but it irritates me when people think that because my informed and well thought out opinion differs from theirs, I'm being decieved by Satan. You're right. Your friend did cheat. If her boyfriend did the identical things to her, she would be furious. But that has nothing to do with religion. Morals have nothing to do with religion. Frankly, God has nothing to do with religion. Religions just use God as their banner to browbeat you into thinking they're right and you're wrong just because they've got a book that says a bunch of things and those things must be true because that same book says they are! GAH! I'm raving. Loved the entry. I'll be back. --JH
from wiley381 :
Thanks for taking the survey. The 9th child of the woman to whom you would recommend abortion was Beethoven. The first leader you canned due to astrology, and thus, lack of sense, was FD Roosevelt. The second leader who you disliked for drug use was Winston Churchill. The final, decorated war hero, was Adolf Hilter. Nice choice.
from damonjones :
You what I like about your diary? That your entries always seem to be always short and sweet. And for that reason I groan when I have to read certain people's diaries who feel they have to write a whole essay everytime. Man give my eyes a break people! But you're doing a good job though.

to "take 10 seperate actions" is what i tried to write .. hehe.
from rtm1981 :
I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I find the whole experience almost surreal. It's like I've suddenly been dumped smack-in-the-middle-of some kind of fantasy world, where people don't understand how little sense they make or why they say or do anything :-/ I end up just staring at people, not saying anything, thinking: "Is he/she beeing serious?" or not thinking at all.. just feeling empty. I'm not exaggerating. I find that most of the things people do or say don't make much sense. People argue over the strangest things, do things in a way that requires them to use 10 seperate things instead on one or two.. well, i'll stop now.. it's impossible to explain all this in a msg.. heh.
from demi-orphan :
I absolutely loved your answers to my survey! Your blurb re: the soundtrack of your life was especially entertaining. And I absolutely agree with you on the subject of online diaries ("Online diaries are like reality TV for the shy... you are exposing yourself and getting attention yet are masked behind however much anonymity you desire..."). Thanks for dropping by. Will visit your diary from time to time. Cheers!
from damonjones :
regarding the following entry:Why can't we control how we feel? I think it is only when it is a bad feeling that we wish that we could better harness our emotions. Funny how that is. Hopefully you will feel better after a good sleep and better able to deal with the horrible world. I always find this to be true for me. ps- are you called shy girl because you are really shy or are you pretending to be a shy girl? That's what I would like to know.
from damonjones :
about: Is extreme shyness a disease? Well have tryed speaking but not focusing on anyone particularly or try looking at the wall. I find most of the students don't really care either way so their is no need to be nervous. About the the blushing thing well you can also tell a person is blushing because they usually turn their face away from the source of the embarassment and by the expression on the face. Good luck, you'll be fine.
from rtm1981 :
That's 6 years ago! So you kinda had it coming didn't you?? :-) hehehe... hope you feel better soon!
from rtm1981 :
Ahhh... the famous boredom predicament eh?? I've been there, believe me. Hehehe.. There was a year or two that me and my friends were so bored that all we did was get shitfaced drunk every weekend. To the point were I couldnt move most of the time. I would LOVE to try skydiving some time. But I don't see the opportunity coming up, I'm not the sort of guy that tries to make things happen (those sort of things).
from rtm1981 :
Pretty new Design Shy =) oh.. and yes.. i've definately felt that sudden burst of Anger! K can be very annoying sometimes.. But although my face SHOULD turn red, luckily it doesn't ;) so I can play it cool most of the time..
from rtm1981 :
Wow... I would love that class :) hehehe... seems crazy! (and seems like easy credits too!:)
from tyana05 :
ok, sorry for assuming you were a christian. im surprised you find interest in that sort of thing becuase not many do. :).
from emiline220 :
Hey, I'm glad you're back! Sorry about your job, but I'm glad you're back in school. You can concentrate on that now and not deal with the stress that job was giving you. Hope you had a Happy Birthday.
from rtm1981 :
oh! and happy B-Day! Welcome to the gang of old people;)
from rtm1981 :
Your special! hehe... Not strange;) it's always better to think of it that way.. You should look up some stats on female orgasms.. You'd be surprised to find out just how lucky you are!:)
from rtm1981 :
Hi Shy! To answer your question: It is not really common in Norway; but almost every young couple can do so if they choose, and it's not that "risky" to do if you have supporting parents and find a good bank. Of course you got to have a decent economy, me and K earn about 4600 dollars a month (total of course, we're not rich!!:) and that is more than enough to pay our expenses. We just got sick of dumping money in the toilet! :) It's better to pay money "to yourself".
from kris-tee :
I think you did a good thing. I would have done the same thing. What a bitch. Good thing it was not me, I can get very bitchy myself, I would have probably been a little worse then you. People like her amaze me.
from rtm1981 :
"Have sex if you are stressed out and only plan your life half-way. ; ) " hehe... Good advice... I like the first one, can't follow the second one. Can't plan anything basically... stuff just happens to me or i just jump into things quite sudden-like
from rtm1981 :
jesus! I can't believe you actually did that.. pulled her to the side all private like and told her so "as-a-matter-of-factly" exactly how you felt. And how embarrassing was it to show the email? I know it was probably more embarrassing for her, but weren't you as well? Well anyway.. I'm happy for you! You're very, VERY brave and you definately did the right thing:)
from rtm1981 :
What a bitch! She sounds like a psycho.. People who let their mood decide their actions at work shouldn't have leader positions at all. They're dangerous. Just think how many of your "J" is really out there... It's scary:/ bout confrontations.. I've always sucked at that. I've avoided it at all costs. But this past year or so, I've had no choice. There's nothing that feels much better than really being upfront with someone like "J". Good luck Shy. Try not to show if you're nervous. Be calm, cold and controlled:) Too bad this job didn't work out for you:/
from rtm1981 :
I hope you do Shy. I hope nothing very bad has happened:/ Oh. And guess what?? We got the loan and the house:)
from rtm1981 :
what the hell Shy? I keep away from my diary for a couple of weeks and you go all mental on me? Don't do this.. Why end it.. Just do what I did. Take a break from everything cyberspaceish and then come back. ok? I'll definately miss you.
from zastrick :
Just wanted to say goodbye. We didn't particularly know eachother except through what we learned from eachother through eachother's diary, but you will be missed.
from cloev :
I'll miss you!!
from zastrick :
I think that is my problem too: I know that I want something but I usually don't really know what it is. If you ever figure out how to find out, let me know.
from lovelylibra :
Okay, so after taking your survey, I read some of your diary, and I swear, you are so much like me it's sorta scary. I put you on my favorites so I can come back and read more later. But I have to ask, when's your birthday? ;o)
from lovelylibra :
Thanks for the survey on athiesm. It was really interesting, though hardly anyone put as much thought into their answers as I did. Also, love the profile, especially what you said about this diary being like reality TV that exposes the heart. Nice.
from scoobypooh :
you have a good sence of humor.
from rtm1981 :
Merry Christmas Shy! ;)
from emiline220 :
You know, I always try to make new year's resolutions, but it never works. Stop procrastinating sounds like a good one though. I've probably made that one a few times. Hope you have better luck than me. heh.
from rtm1981 :
"random weekend recap" --> I avoid the world news as often as I can myself. I have to admit though that I was stuck in front of the tv and CNN when they caught Saddam. That and when our king was put in the hospital a week before that are the only things that has caught my attention in about a year.
from rtm1981 :
oh... and the novel part. I've written three. They turned out to suck, but it felt good to write them:) You should give it your best shot. Even if they DO fail, you'll feel better;)
from rtm1981 :
"people get weird.." --> Fuck me with a fuck stick - I know Exactly how you feel about the stress of looking upon "The List!!!"...
from not-so- :
Hey, found your diary through the ILOVEJAMES diaryring. Great stuff x
from emiline220 :
Heh. I'm a total sucker for English accents, too. You're not weird I would have done the same thing!
from rtm1981 :
shy-->"but it also has a lot to do w/the fact that I have a boyfriend. I mean, I'll talk to guys but I don't go out of my way to meet strangers.." :D:D:D shy--> "how obnoxious I think it is when girls dress in teeny tiny outfits that show all kinds of skin even in the dead of winter." :D:D:D
from rtm1981 :
Intersting theory you had on the weight issue. And I believe it's very true!
from rtm1981 :
That's true Shy... Very true... We're much more brave when we think we're safe behind the maze that is the internet. On another not (your entry specifically:) : My rule is: "If you're going to be with a person, throw your soul headfirst into that relationship and always do your utmost to make it work and improve it. But only when you're 99.99999999999999% certain that this is the one you want to spend your life with. No turning back. E.V.E.R
from rtm1981 :
neither me nor K usually snore, but I absolutely adore K when she snores.. They're barely audible and her nose twitches :D:D:D
from rtm1981 :
For me it's: "Why can't every day be like every second sunday" .. :D hehe..
from cloev :
Don't beat yourself up too much over "being nosy". If you realise that what you did was wrong and feel guilty about it, then everything should be okay and you can forgive yourself. But I do empathise- I have been known to do exactly the same (and yes, sometimes things are just best not found-out!!) :-)
from rtm1981 :
Everyone has secret's that other people aren't supposed to know. I know I do :) One always end up getting upset and disappointed if one find those things out...
from rtm1981 :
damn... that trip to the school story pissed me off... I got really worked up about it! Why can't people in those positions take some fucking initiative and do what they're supposed to. I hate that kind of crap. hate it!
from rtm1981 :
Concerning your question "Can someone be a reformed alien"? The short answer is Yes. The long answer: It is not so much a process of reformation but rather an - hmmm.. let's call it an - "Active Physical/Mental Reconstruction(tm)" and it involves the use of brain probes, and stimulants; and last but not least, you would have to change some of your physical aspects.. And.. I won't go into detail there as such an explanation would make visitors to your comment section flee with terror ;) hehe...
from emiline220 :
Looking back at a lot of my older entries is very cringe-worthy for me too. Actually, what's really bad is looking back at old diaries from High School! Those are really something to cringe at. Anyway, nice story about you and James. I agree that nothing is better than finding the one you love. Happy Anniversary to you two.
from rtm1981 :
Your first ever entry: "But I will be back (dexteriously carrying a platter of my spilled guts for you to enjoy)." LOL! hahaha! dexteriously carrying a platter of your spilled guts?? damn... **calms down** We started writing our diaries about the same time too ... cool.. **not sure if it's cool or not**
from rtm1981 :
I think maybe you'll get quite a surprise in a few years :) There really IS such a thing as a biological clock! hehe... But I hear what you're sayin'. But I don't completely agree.. Having a child is supposed to be the natural result of making love, so I don't think it's at all strange that people (me included) feel the need to make one. Though for now, I feel very much the same as you... solitude... peace... but later :) I'll have a couple. I think K has started ticking already! hehe..
from rtm1981 :
ehh.. doesn't really know how to behave in front of others does he:/ And exersize really does improve ones mood a lot. I used to work out, and although I like its plus sides a lot; I'm just way too lazy to continue:)
from rtm1981 :
No sweat Shy, I won't tell anyone.. promise! ;)
from rtm1981 :
Ok. The whole layout of the site. Organized, pleasant to look upon, easy to read. It's impressive without being flashy. It's quick to load (Big images but those have to be of a great quality). The coding is compatible with all major browsers (works fine in netscape7.0, Opera, Explorer5.0/6.0). Basically, I think it's as great as pizza and pepsi!:) hehe... Maybe you want to align="justify" your text though? And move the logo of the woman (you?) to the top of the menu? I had no idea you were THIS talented with designing.. I'm very impressed. (Did you forget to censure something at the bottom of your page? I hope you see it before others do).
from rtm1981 :
I would love to see your portfolio and give some feedback:) Just sensure your personals with lots of ***** .. hehe..
from rtm1981 :
I sincerely like the layout you have now very much:) It's pleasant to look upon. Nothing wrong with adding some more stuff though, just don't get too caught up in it like I have.. Sometimes I can't sleep because I have so many ideas:/
from rtm1981 :
hmmm.. tricky situation there... I just have to say that moving out is great; ahh... the freedom! the peace and solitude! :) I'm stuck with my parents again now every second week aaaaand that's not nice at all... nope! hehe.. it's great that you're going back to school too; i really have to get off my lazy ass in that respect..
from cloev :
I agree with you totally about what you said in your last entry... there are so many "personality disorders" out there these days... A strange thought: Years ago I'm sure all these "problems" existed but now we seem to feel we need to have names for everything!! Anything slightly not "normal" is considered a disorder!! I think it's getting a bit ridiculous!! Anyway, that's my opinion!!
from rtm1981 :
and yes... you have to decide for yourself what is a good reason for you to move..
from rtm1981 :
Yep:) http://www.dreambook.com and go to "Make A New Dreambook" ! If you have problems with anything you can leave me a note and I'll try and help you;)
from mewlips :
you could find a decent guestbook at signmyguestbook.com .. I think it's owned by diaryland, so its handy like that. haha, I know. You didn't even ask me :)
from rtm1981 :
I "steal" music until I find something I really like, then I go buy it.. yep! just a comment:)
from rtm1981 :
i wouldn't come here every day if you were a boring read;)
from rtm1981 :
i think (hope) they'll feel it's a good thing... I sure think so!
from rtm1981 :
Seems like we choose about the same time every night (probably early for you) to update:)
from rtm1981 :
hehehe... funny:) Well, to tell you the truth I would try to retrieve it if I'd already flushed and I thought there was a big chance it would still function!:D But that's just me.. (and him I guess)
from rtm1981 :
I'm not really good! hehe... I just take too much on that's all... just wait.. soon you'll read in my diary: "I just quit everything"
from rtm1981 :
That's true Shy... It's impossible to paint something complete in a diary.
from rtm1981 :
::an article online:: I can't believe that such a HUGE procentage of the American people believe in God.. THAT shocked me more than anything:/ If you asked 100 youths in the age from 16 - 26 here in Norway, maybe 5 would say they believed in God. Seriously, out ALL (close + not so close) my friends, NONE believe in God. The only two people I know that believe are Katie and Mom.
from rtm1981 :
::weddings and fragile hearts:: HE was the jerk.. But seriously, if James WAS blind to everyone else but you, you wouldn't have believed he was anyway:) Katie sure doesn't.
from sexyatheist :
thank you for explaining. i feel a lot better actually. and i apologize for insulting you. nothing insults me more than being called a christian. and for that i sincerely apologize. but, i think a survey on atheism is one that attracts atheists. obviously. and because of this the questions seem out of place. i understand your desire for it to be filled out by others, but i think atheists will be the predominate ones filling it out, which will create similar confusion. i was just a dick about it. and again, for that i apologize.
from zastrick :
Read through your diary since you visited mine. I enjoyed reading it. I apologize for my brevity but I'm afraid I'm bad at leaving notes for other people.
from rtm1981 :
Maybe that's what I have too!:) (SAD that is) I fit in most of those categories right now... not the sex part though;) K's been acting EXTREMELY unstable lately... maybe she has it too... (One of the reason for my depressed entry)
from rtm1981 :
yep it's me again:) Me and a friend saw this movie once where this woman was blowdrying her hair, but after a while she sighed, smiled and laid her hand with the blowdryer in to rest gently in her lap with the tip of the B.D. pointing towards the floor. We couldn't stop laughing! hehehe.. childish? Well, we're children;)
from rtm1981 :
i think i'll buy a snuggle blanket too:)
from rtm1981 :
Damn funny entry:) I think it's VERY strange that one heater could blow out the electricity in the whole house. My mom and me are mad about heating so we have like ten of the fuckers around the house to warm us up; we've never had a problem:/ I HATE being cold. Not cold itself, because it can be nice sometimes to have the window open at night and feel the cool air while your underneath warm blankets, but BEING cold.. hate it.. just hate it.
from rtm1981 :
it's natural that a lot of negativity comes out in one's diary, that's partly what it's for afterall:)
from rtm1981 :
hehehe... I Love a good hell-day!:)
from cloev :
A thought: Just because your Mum hasn't necessarily aplogised to you does not mean that is not sorry... perhaps she just doesn't know how to express what she wants to say... I know I have been in situations like that before. If only we could be mind readers... but yes, I do agree that you have reason to be angry... hope tomorrow will be better for you!
from cloev :
I actually haven't visited your diary for quite a while until today, but your last entry was really upsetting. :-( It's good to get things off your chest, though... I empathise with you a lot there about the whole situation with your Mum... I have always been quite well-behaved but my parents still don't really trust me... and it seems that I am great target for when they have had bad days. Anyway, hope things get better. *hug*
from rtm1981 :
of course I care:) I love the idea of an online portfolio... I would also like to see it sometime in the future once you're completely satisfied/comfortable with it:)
from emiline220 :
That's a really good idea to put your portfolio on a website. I've always been really impressed with people who do that. (And they always wind up looking *extra* impressive) I would do that for my portfolio if I knew anything about HTML. I hope you don't have to be looking for a job soon, but if you do good luck.
from rtm1981 :
Hmmm... I HAVE to let K know about this new birthcontrol... maybe I can persuade her to start it:D I hate condoms!
from cloev :
I'm glad that your visit to the hospital went okay- thanks for the note letting me know! :-) I think it's great that James' sister has someone like you who will be there for her if she needs support. Now... as for that part about James referring to you as his fiancee... hmmmmm...
from rtm1981 :
im glad the hospital visit went ok:)
from cloev :
What a horrible person! I am referring to the person who said, "Hi, quiet girl" to you... Hope things work out okay at the hospital for you... I agree with what other people have said in their notes... try to just talk about "normal" things and I'm sure everything will be alright.
from d-i-n-a :
Hi! I would treat her exactly how you would outside of the hospital. The last thing she wants is people acting like she's a psycho. Make her feel like you guys care about her and care about her well being. Good luck.
from rtm1981 :
Hmmm.. not sure really:/ That's a toughie! I wouldn't mention anything about her situation though unless she brings it up. Talk about general stuff, avoiding of course, mentioning *just* *how* *nice* it is livin' outside the Mad House!:) Make her smile somehow... Although that might be hard...
from rtm1981 :
It's great to be back to read your posts;) I hate living with my parents too, but financially, it's heaven...
from aardbei :
hey, i don't care if youre a bad or a good person. you're on hell of a writer though....xxxx
from cloev :
Wow... thanks for the note! Hehe! Yeah... can't get into people's diaries, eh? Man, I sure figured out that one... was just reading your diary! That's awful about your boyfriends's sister... you seem like a very caring sort of person! In fact, you are probably the nicest person I have never met, if that makes sense! :-)
from littlecynic :
me? bitter? well ok maybe...but i dont think i sounded very bitter...but then again, considering all the things i know about myself that most other people really dont (and certainly not you), i can see how it may come across as bitterness...i have a thing for chronic dissatisfaction...but for whatever reason i feel the need to point out that i was really just trying to say my piece, perhaps to educate a bit, in my dark, sarcastic manner...and just so you know, im not gonna blow up any churches, but it should be pointed out that terrorism is not limited to religious fundamentalists...there are plenty of atheists who are whacked out of their gourds as well...but thanks for the note...and thanks for making the survey...it really was an enjoyable experience...and that statement alone perhaps explains enough of my thrilling existence to justify a little bitterness...
from cloev :
The weather affects my mood a lot too! Also, if it's a really nice day outside then I can't make myself work cause I get really distracted!!
from rtm1981 :
:(
from cloev :
I just wanted to say thanks for leaving me a note!! Can't wait for your next entry! Compared to some of the diaries I have been reading (including yours!), mine is certainly not all that interesting... This lack of interesting stuff is primarily the result of my vast computer-lacking skills... but <chuckle> feel free to check it out sometime anyway if you haven't as yet... I hope you had a good day! :-) Oh, by the way, I know some pretty weird families too! A girl I went to primary school with had a sister who used to do the strangest things like get her friends to tie her to poles! Er, sure you needed to know that... Bye for now!
from rtm1981 :
Wow.. that post upset me:/ Threesome with his wife and another girl? They deserve to be shot right away.. and his wife being part of that can't really complain that he keeps sleeping with her... When you can't hold the most sacred thing in life sacred, then you have no say... Damn I hate things unpure.. I have to write something in my own diary now...

Hi there! Just started reading your diary a couple of days ago!! Great stuff- I really like your perspective on things! And there's something about the way you write that's really addictive! Wow... your boyfriend sounds like he has quite a erm... family, huh? Hope you have a great day! *hug*

oh... I saw your note now:) gotta leave you another one;) You should check out www.nedstatbasic.com... Then you'll see who's been reading your diary (how many they are, where they're from, what they use etc.etc.etc) .. Click the small "diagram thingy" at the bottom of one of my posts to see an example;) of course I read your diary...

I don't get many drunk guys asking me to marry them, understandably, but a lot of strange people decide that *I* am the right person to "harass" with their ideas. Two american mormons came up to me insisting that I take the "book of the mormons" (whatever) and read it thoroughly.. One guy came up to me said: "I know you smoke.... want to buy some?" What the hell?

I couldn't **BELIEVE* it when I read your boyfriend hangs out with his ex... I mean "JESUS CHRIST"! If Katie ever went out with one of her exes I would probably just slit my throat right away.. I don't have any exes (shyness problem my whole life) so that's not a problem.. But let me tell you something... I've read a lot about it.. I know you can't learn anything from books but, "Old flames die hard..." They were once very much in love and it might suddenly in a heated moment burst into flames again.. I know it's horrible of me to say this, especially if it IS just innocent, but if I were you, I would be pissing nails and sweating blood... :)

Cool post:) Lots of people do quality work for crap pay... Basically if you're not very lucky or insanely qualified that's what you end up with... But with some hard work you'll get there;) My girlfriend makes even more money than me (and I don't make crap money), but she still complains though... her job is too tiring she says... and it is too... Jobs suck.. there's always something you've to deal with..people, pay, hours, location, noise etc etc etc...

I get that all the time. "Don't you know you're so quiet?" Yes, in fact I do. People say the the stupidest things. I get the "you don't drink very much, do you" thing too, but in fact I don't. I kind of wish I did, because I hate to answer yes when people say that to me. It seems to make them stereotype me even more.

Re: religion101 survey. I asked those as an Atheist/Agnostic trying to make people actually question their faith for once, as well as sheer curiousity out of what people thought about their faith and how they came to that conclusion. /A

I hate talking on the phone to people I am unfamiliar with, too, even some of my family members that I am not very close to... I would much rather speak to people in person.

Hi, I have the same telephone phobia as you. I really hate talking on it. Just calling and ordering a pizza is a pretty big deal to me. I usually do what you did and prepare what I am going to say, that works best for me. Also, the more I have been forcing myself to call people, even if it is just the pizza guy, it seems to get a little easier each time. I feel for you about the whole shyness thing, that is me in a nutshell. Anyway, I like your diary, and I agree with what you say in your profile. Good observation.
from xevelle :
Umm I suggest you create a link for people to leave you notes, I had to type out the whole URL to leave you one, so feel special! Anyway, you sound like you have a major shyness problem... I read somewhere about something like that and they say it's a 'psychological disease'. Me, I get stage fright all the time, and I start to tremble when people pay attention to me. I find it difficult to look into other people's eyes, and I fidget when I'm having a one-on-one conversation with anybody. But I don't have any problems with telephones. I hope you work things out. Take care.
