from kissed :

from mynameismatt :

from kissed :

Yeeks. Is that a fairly normal post-surgical occurance? I'm trying to talk myself into seeing a doctor about a rather painful abnormality that also involves bleeding, but I'm nowhere near as brave as you. I'll probably have to be dragged there when I turn green and stop reacting to external stimuli. Hope you feel better.
from fridayfilms :
Well more pocket money is always a plus. Aside from bumbling my way through a few writing projects (self-administered for the most part), I am the weekend's entertainment for a good friend who is back from Korea for two weeks. She's going to live in a sort of convent when she returns, so I'll be sure to stuff and pickle her so that she'll have more than enough sins to attone for.
from weymouth66 :
*sings* I am the one and only!
from fridayfilms :
Evidently, I don't exist in the UK. Congrats on the new position. I'm positively green.
from behindblue :
You seem like such a genuine person. That was really kind of you to do what you did for that older lady. You probably made her day. And I love that quote from Buddha. :) I read up a lot on Buddhism. <3 Brittany
from redstarhelix :
annoying to have advertisements and a locked diary kind of defeats the purpose doesnt it? vacation or not.
from playingcards :
For some reason, when I went to my profile to edit it, I got a pop-up with that username and password thing to get into your diary. Know of any reason why I would get that? Or is your guess as good as mine?
from snailpetal :
This diary is locked because I am on holiday...but I'll be back on the 24th May with plentiful updates and pictures of dolphins, sharks and other weird shit. Come back soon xx
from nightingale- :
Ok, after reading the note I left and not understanding it myself, I can understand why you never said anything back. I sounded like a psycho. But I do enjoy your diary, so...Rock on!
from slipping- :
yer sexy!
from janthina :
ach, you're just young and english. in (very 80s) australian spunk merely means attractive.
from nightingale- :
Haha, way to cheer me up. Oh wait- you have a diary? The name was enough...;) Loved it. Keep writing.

Ah, pues aqu en Chicago, hay tanto...hay que ir al Instituto del Arte, a todos los museos...pero no vayas a Navy Pier--todo alla es demasiado caro ...por cuanto tiempo te vas a quedar?

Wasabi peas are fantastic! My boyfriend brought back many packages for me from Vietnam a few years ago. Theirs is a sadistic love. Tasty but very painful.
from fridayfilms :
You are something to aspire to, dahling. Well done. Happy rowing!
from phierce :
I saw the little advertisement for your diary... but you lock it. Why pay to advertise it and then lock it? just curious.
from xylem :
The cauliflower thing is genius - I am seriously considering copying it. There was a sudden outbreak of toadstools on our front garden this week, but I think cauliflower would top that easily.
from starlight42 :
oh my god!! that is so funny! Obviously, I thought you meant vibrators on boots, as in, on your feet. Hey, maybe I came up with a great product?!
from starlight42 :
clicked on your banner...wow- vibrators on boots! yikes. gives new meaning to when people play footsie under the table!
from weymouth66 :
Please could you e-mail me your passwords at pompey7475 at yahoo dot co dot uk, or leave me a note with them in? Thanks so much - love Jess xx
from pukus :
You are a most interesting person,..
from hedgehoggy :
I'm dying to know about Battle Royale thanks to no American distributor with balls to provide it to those of us in the U.S. Is it as violent as thy say? Interesting? I'm guessing we in the U.S. will not get the sequel as well. It's quite amusing that you mentioned the movie a while back and I suddenly got so wrapped up in seeing it.
from ambrosita :
i'm an american who rows in the south. quite a rarity over here, lemme tell ya. it makes me excited to find the diary of a fellow rower!
from candoor :
a positive diary by a happy person is a wonderful thing... believing you are real is even better :)
from thespark :
I run a diaryring/community. I'd like for you to join the ring. E-mail me if you're interested: [email protected].
from candora :
wishing merry happy new years to banners leads to some great diaries... happy I came to yours :)
from xylem :
A diary that isn't miserable! There don't seem to be many of those, so I am glad to have stumbled across one. Rar.
from leasophia :
interestingly enough I was searching for literary criticism on Robert Herrick's "Corinna's Going A-Maying," and one of the links took me to your journal. Although it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I enjoyed what I read! Just wanted to let you know!
from odalisk :
tell me if it works for you too...also, glad you liked the quiche.
from odalisk :
I don't know if I can describe it perfectly - and really, maybe everybody knew this but me - but when you're giving a blowjob, if your hand/the cock in question is nice and slick, take your palm and sort of rotate it around the head...hmmm...keep the center of your palm centered at the tip, then massage the rest of your palm in a circular motion around the head. It'll make the guy feel like he's coming when he's not.
from rosebud-lips :
Finally, someone in England who doesn't like the US! I have been looking for you! All I ever hear is, everyone likes the US, and I know that that's BS b/c I disapprove of almost everything that Uncle Sam does, and I live in his country. I love to find out worldly views on the US. I'd run for President but then I remember that you have to be stupid and as ass for that. We can only hope that a female will get office and fix things up!
from rosebud-lips :
Palpitations? Well, I hope that everything is OK. You sound like you're stressed. Take it easy.
from powercut :
hey there! cool diary :)
from sunnflower :
Hi - Love the banner. Also, just wanted to give you a heads up about that counter you have on your page that shows # online. There's a note about it you'll see when you sign on to DLand talking about some problems with it. I had it on my page too but just pulled it off last week.
from sianni :
Thanks for that link - had a read and yes - appealing! :)
from inchase :
I love your randomness... you lead a what seems like a fast paced life over there. You have some unique experiences. I read through one of your most recent posts and you were discussing a quote... I found the root of it in some 1st century writing, little bit before ol'Twain: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 tim 6:10 Well, have a good one, cheers from Santa Cruz California
from sianni :
what happened? password-protection? huh? huh? :(
from trapidi :
how u make a banner...cost money?
from sianni :
Happy 300th :)
from davidnsac :
thanks :) i will call her
from sianni :
Ahhh the cancerian knack of hiding in the shell... I know how you feel :x
from rosebud-lips :
Here's why I like your diary, and I've only read two pages. I imagine that your style is very much like my own and your wording is fantastic. Maybe it's the English way? (I'm American)
from davidnsac :
sorry to hear that you cried if you ever need someone to talk to i am a good person and will gladly help you in any way. :o) david
from fineskylark :
I saw a banner, (I think) and my childhood nickname was Snail, so that appealed to me. and it's interesting.
from svenhard :

from svenhard :
I would have an e-mail address but I don't like using the work-mail for non-work related dodgyness, until my lappytop's fixed i'm stuck wiv d d-land services, as the famous austrian dwarf once said "i'll b back"
from barenaked500 :
Hi! I just saw your banner and came here to see that picture from the hurricane! Oh my goodness...CRAZY! :)
from danisgreat :
HEY! Have a fantastic night, I am quite jealous right now so I must go and buy booze. Have fun!!
from poppyfish :
Oh, no, no, I'm not going to boarding school. I'm going to college, but I live in the dorms. They're not incredibly bad, really, just very noisy and full of college students who don't pay attention to the no-drugs-no-alcohol rules. ;) At least I have a private suite!
from mynameismatt :
this is true, and you obviously have some hidden talent (or have noticed something blindingly obvious that i am, naturally, oblivious to). it's five to eight and i'm sweaty. boring day. slept. read. dull? but tommorow i might try Scuba diving! x
from mynameismatt :
'reminders of people having fun and blah' - that's what coming on diaryland usually means to me. it pisses you off to, huh, feeling left out of the action? i am steering well clear of the chocolate and updating sporadically. what drugs have you got? i need to get my hands on some when i get back...x
from poppyfish :
This is actually a very intriguing diary. I wasn't expecting it to be interesting, because good banners so often lead to bad diaries, but ... hmm. I shall have to look into this!
from jennyj :
Sorry - kind of locked it kind of by mistake. Have unlocked it but put most of the last 3 months in private folder. I don't understand how I can keep those private but give some people access if they want, without locking the whole thing ... och!
from buniskae :
414: 'would go'? Try 'have been'. Once. But was ve'y, ve'y drunk...
from svenhard :
I have also made the long trip to the vet's, it's not nice, I did cry, you have my sympathies. xxx
from mynameismatt :
i said i'd mail; i failed. busily boring, recently. tommorow is the last exam and then maybe i'll have the strength to enjoy myself. and mail you of course. x
from riahopkinson :
Hey, sweetie! Thanks for your note ages ago - sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, I've been doing the dreaded Finals. I sympathise with the Oxford nostalgia - I feel as though I have it already, despite never really taking to the place and having only just left... Not sure why my name seems familiar to you, maybe 'cos I did a lot of hacking while there (edited the OxStu, worked on Cherwell a lot, etc, all in an obnoxiously gobby Northern manner which didn't go down well with the Sloanes but which I tremendously enjoyed!)?? Anyway, love your diary, and am going to devote much of my now blissfully free time to reading it! Ciao for now, Ria xx
from svenhard :
I've not been for ages, i hope they've sorted out the ventilation, it's crap trying to dance in a mostly CO2 atmosphere, need oxygen, oxyyyyggahggaghagh ~thump~. I don't usually look too closely at the dodgy people / felt-tip artwork unless it appears to be creeping over their body !
from svenhard :
Hi, go here *svenhard.diaryland.com/images/wall_devilbunnywallpaper.jpg* for a picture of my Sith master.
from buniskae :
Me nothing to do with Lancs., ever, and have no other page. Other guilty party in frog conversation is svenhard (.diaryland.com).
from mynameismatt :
pert arsed zebra sex...the curious world of miss C.Snailpetal. hows things? a sun-warmed Greek island would be so good right now; i'm envious as ever. drop me a line when you're back - haven't heard from you in ages. matt x
from plastic8tree :
The moment during sexual intercourse when the man says hold on a moment....Just as the lady is getting real close is that frustration or worse ?
from faunawolf :
thanky, I've never met a fan outside my circle of friends. i feel quite special. I'll be reading your diary in a moment.
from mynameismatt :
never been a great fan of the summer, personally. i do like those lollies though. things have become rather bleak this side of Sarf London, what with work & stress & doubt & dodgy thoughts about suicide & etc. though whether any of this is intelligble through the current slew of entries is beyond me. more email, yes? x
from dsdiary :
haven't been here in a while, it's new and pretty. :)
from gendermayhem :
oh why hello- Thank you for your note. I love your stories about bush and boats. That didn't sound quite right... anyway, the only thing better than a note is a SURPRISE note, don't you think? You'll be getting more notes from me. Tata.
from plastic8tree :
Enjoyment of little notes not much to ask so here is one from myself. Take care may you smile at someone who took a minute to write.Isn't hard for anyone is it.
from mynameismatt :
realised that i completely misunderstood a paragraph of your mail on Friday. fuckety whoops. so which email address do you use these days? the yahoo or this swish journaliste one? matt x
from mynameismatt :
wow! i read that article on Sunday and i didn't realise anything at all! so very impressed, does this mean you're going to sell your soul for paperclips and pret as a journaliste? also...mail me. it's been too long, too long. x
from kissed :
i sent you mail.
from mynameismatt :
they are indeed, dear Snlptl. but the reason i haven't been in touch is that i have been mailing you for the last fortnight at yahoo.com, NOT .co.uk. just remedied the mistake - so Sunday's ramblings are on their way now. is your mobile number still the same? well. sorry that i mucked up on the Chinese Friday idea - i did try and mail apologies etc. but they again went to .com. i wonder if some American Clara is now very confused by my attentions? wie geht es dir? sorry to hear that the job hunt is still fruitless...have you considered just bland civil service exams? it's steady employment and mindless tasks. filling these cold days is ever a chore. matt x
from ilovemypony :
ta for your message.i ran from my house to the tate modern to see the chinese new year fireworks on friday.it's a small world.how long have you lived in london?ive only been here since september.tell me good things to do and facts and stories please.sarahxxx
from buniskae :
1750? For a week? Really? I'm asthmatic, I'd take a shot at that.....
from jennyj :
Ah yes and Kung Hei Fat Choi to you too! Sounds a potential plan - am going to see Erlend Oye at ICA on Friday night with pals; maybe can try negotiating them down to river for 7 (why not...)
from mynameismatt :
now, clara. things may be bad; but if we resort to alluding to Travis lyrics then they will only get worse. remember the fun from your big night out - there is always a chance for a small release. i've tried to mail you but they keep on getting sent back; is the yahoo account working? let me know and i'll try to be re-assuring at slightly more length. smile? matt x
from dsdiary :
aw. was his interview today? i feel like a creepy lost aunt inquiring about my nephew for some reason. haven't spoken to him in a while. hopefully he'll be on the computer. hopefully. also, how are you?
from dsdiary :
how fun to get a message from you while i was online. i knew about the hair, i saw a picture of him that was very stone-faced, "take-me-as-i-am"-ish, so i was wondering about his smile. do his eyes squint up? i asked him this in an (as of yet unrequited) email. interestingly enough, i asked him to "confirm or deny this".
from dsdiary :
i am sooo jealous of you.
from mynameismatt :
o ms.Snailpetal! called your house and then left you an email in anxious fashion. read and respond, as is customary, please. p.s. am also writing very oddly, aren't i? matt x
from mynameismatt :
oh frabjous day/calloo callay (i chortle in my joy)! yes - have been granted an interview at Lincoln. feel relieved, excited and terrified. how shopgrll life? give you a call this week. matt x
from miss-edith :
Thanks for reading, and thanks for leaving a note so that I could find your diary. I'll be back for sure. Much Love, Miss-Edith
from cuntgirl :
linkage: what you want the link to say ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I like what I've seen so far, can't wait to coma back and poke around some more
from mynameismatt :
thanks for the txt, clara. the struggle continues but will endeavor to relieve self of twat-tendencies at weekend. well done for everything...stay busy. matt x
from mynameismatt :
clara. matt. wanted to mail you tonight but hotmail is proving evasive. soon...promise. hope the job-hunt is fruitful. matt x
from mynameismatt :
i really appreciate it so much, dear. i'm glad that it's doesn't seem intolerably childish or anything. i don't know what it is that's got into me, but it certainly wasn't invited. why am i so neurotic? blame it on hormones, workloads and the weather. maybe. mail you this week. x
from stealinghome :
Hey, Snailpetal...call me blond-still can't get in. You know my address. B.G. aka K.S.
from mynameismatt :
hello.
from mynameismatt :
i mailed you ms.Snailpetal. but it might have been to the wrong adress. if you didn't get anything, please tell me, and i'll empty my head through my ear once again. *concerned face*
from wonderwall :
aren't exams funny? my last one of the year, i just wrote and wrote for the longest time, and when i finished, looked back on what i had wrote and realized there was a good chance it might all be wrong, but at least it was well-written. ah, i always try to make the best out of lost causes. like my life.
from cherrydrop :
i sit in furnivall [sp?] gardens some of the time, and the rest of the time, i sit in the little area with benches near riverside studios but nearer to hammersmith bridge. you'd understand if i could draw you a self-explanatory diagram, but the computer won't allow me. it's nice to know that someone shares my love of sitting by the river at hammersmith. thank you very much for your note and best of luck with your finals [i'm doing second year exams, so i share in some of your pain] xxx
