Congratulations all around!
from harri3tspy :
Congratulations! What a lovely day.

If the U of A in question is in Arizona - you'll have a blast. I went there, as did many other fine, fine people. :)
from beagle47 :
hmmm. i emailed your d-land address. see if you get that. if not try beagle47 (at) aol dot com. but, shhhhh...
from lass :
You could always suggest a game called "Guess Who's REALLY the father?". That would liven things up and most likely get you off the hook for future showers.
from beagle47 :
i've gravitated (in so many ways). i'd like to take you with me. email to my d-land address? thanks.
from vegas-girl :
I'm a bit worried about you since you seemed to have dropped out of sight. Please email me and let me know you are okay: [email protected]
from lass :
The younger of the two kids I take care of is just starting to walk as well - it's like being around a really short, really cute Frankenstein all day. Arms out, clumsy walk, two-word sentences...hee.

Sorry to see that you're locked. If you're handing out passwords, I'd love to keep reading. My email is harri3tspy AT gmail. Thanks.

Thanks for the note - email me for the password [email protected]
from beagle47 :
hello. how ya' been?
from holdensolo :
It will not be locked long
from heidiann :
Thank you!! They're sitting on my desk as a reminder that I should continue wooing myself. And I love Target furniture!
from fourohseven :
ten deep breaths and a cosmopolitan. that should make moving easier. :)
from pischina :
I'm not sure your cookie recipe is what I am looking for, but it sure sounds good, so I would love to try it. Is it a good cookie to have at Christmas? Also, I really appreciate the recipe offer - people in Diaryland are very very nice, aren't they.
from lass :
Feel better soon.
from beagle47 :
rest in peace, Mia.
from lass :
*waves back* I think today is MY day for procrastination....I can't seem to get out of my jammies.
from f-i-n :
hihihi
from jenniam :
thanks for the comment! This is not over a holiday weekend. As a matter of fact, it's the weekend AFTER labor day. I know for sure many of those I am inviting will not come. I think we'll have 50 guests, but we are planning for 70. So yeah, don't freak me out!
from princes-drea :
i think this weekend we are trying to go to Grahams' you should go with us, it is always eventful. let me know k?
from princes-drea :
thanks for thinking of me, we were never married, but for like the last month he has been acting this way, i came home late from the mall (mind you i had the baby with me) and he flipped out thinking i was with a man. i swear you think you know people. we spent 6 years together and i don't even know him. scary huh? glad to read things are still going well, okay maybe the doc needs to get a clue. too funny! so donna has a baby now? i didn't get to know her all that well, but i remember her from arch. oh the good ol days.
from liliput :
Follow my link to find Loki. =D
from princes-drea :
i haven't read your diary in so long (since i worked at arch to be exact) i am glad things are going well for you and i am putting you on my favorites list so i can keep up!
from heidiann :
I hope he cried when he read my email. I know I should be a bigger person than that but I really hope he cried. Thank you so much! =)
from theflyingrat :
My grandmother's doctor kept telling her she had anemia. For about 10 years they wouldn't do any additional tests, just kept saying she wasn't getting enough iron. Then she finally sought out a second opinion and it turned out she had cancer. It was so advanced by then that they had to remove her bladder. So doctors are sometimes doing what's in THEIR best interest, not their patient's. Hang in there with the job. Things are bound to get better soon. Hopefully this week will go better for you. ♥
from theflyingrat :
I really wonder how some people get their jobs. Maybe her daddy runs the place? :)
from jenistar :
The holes are for the water and sewer connection (minor details!)--once they're done, the gas and electric connections go in, too, and the walls go up--and in a month or so, my mom moves out of my house and into her own. ANd there will be much, much, much rejoicing!!!
from theflyingrat :
Thanks so much for the nice comments you leave, it's very much appreciated.
from vegas-girl :
No, I don't think I mentioned DD's surgery in here. Was just mentioning that she was okay to her friends that read this. She had a breast reduction but she was REALLY worried about going under the knife, so much so that it made me paranoid as well. I talked to her tonight and other than having a cold she appears to be doing quite well. I'll relay your well wishes to her. Thanks! :-)
from erlenweg6 :
Being an athiest may not be the cause of depression in everybody, but it's definitely one of the things contributing to Writer Man's. To quote him directly, "Nobody WANTED to believe in God more than I did." To each his own, ya know? :-)
from vegas-girl :
Thank you for your thoughts. It sucks a lot but there isn't much that can be done about it. I'll keep everyone posted.
from waterstain :
it isn't that he's changed his mind. it's that he attempts to hold both opinions at once. let's stick to the original topic and use abortion as an example. it isn't that he was once pro-life, researched, and became pro-choice. it's that he tries to pander to both sides. he's trying to placate the catholics and impress the likes of NARAL at the same time. and yes, i have changed my mind before. a year and a half ago, i was against the war. some time after the war started, i researched exhaustively, and i changed my mind. i've never tried to be both at once.
from waterstain :
does it not concern you that he believes something to be murder, but has no invested interest in trying to stop it? that's not a conviction, that's mouth service. i'm not sure i'd want someone to stand for what i believe when they can't even stand for what they believe. thank you for your note, in any case.
from jenistar :
And making it three in a row...Good for you, sweetie! The first and MOST important part of dealing with depression is acknowledging that it's there and that you WANT to do something about it. Sending you lots of hugs!
from jenistar :
Yes, but I was 24 the night I did that first Jaeger shot and kissed the Artboy for the first time. The next few years were the crazy ones. The ones before that...not so much. If by "not so much" you mean "not at all."
from jenistar :
Hey chica--hope your vacation was a good one. Seems like forever since you've updated, though it's been less than two weeks...looking forward to reading some new words of yours...
from fourohseven :
re: suicide. it's pretty fucked up when you try to shoot yourself and miss. i mean, if a person thinks life is so bad that they want to commit suicide, and then they fail at that, i'm sorry, but it makes me laugh. i shouldn't, but damn - that's pretty bad. regardless, i hope things go better for you.
from jenistar :
Artboys are tough. Good for you for dealing with yours better than I ever did with mine. And BTW, I hate the wicker mail thing. It's a dust collector and it ALWAYS looks messy. And if you ever find yourself in the Boston area, I'll make you dinner with farm food, too :)
from cdghost :
stumbled across your words and enjoyed reading them
from forafriend :
I guess you're right. Yesterday was a pretty bad day, and it's hard for me to remember the positive side of things when it's one of those days. But we are human, and we make mistakes, and I suppose when I look at it that way, I don't have very many regrets.
from vegas-girl :
Thanks, it means a lot. I hate being scared. Where was the pain that you had?
from jenistar :
Ha--I wondered if anyone would notice the missing outlet cover! We've since fixed that--no electrocuted babies here! Thanks for your kind words, and happy belated birthday!
from erlenweg6 :
I've tried to e-mail you the code to my diary, but it keeps bouncing back. Could you send a line to me at [email protected] (just add the extra "o" -- i left it out to reduce spam). (((hugs)))
from vegas-girl :
Oh the days of Daisy drama. I was not sad to see them go. I'm glad that you were able to say no and kind of get things off your chest. Yeah it doesn't seem real that it's been a year since Terry died. DD is going to put together a BBQ in his honor for this Saturday...you should stop by if you want. :-D Let me know and I'll get you the details.
from seven-words :
Once again verbose ramblings are foiled by a lack of an accesible guestbook. But before I digress, the real bummer about the gun law thing, is that this will not help the ole AZ shed the "wild west, rattlesnake, horse riding cowboy crap" image that seems to follow me every time I tell folks, "i'm frr Arizona." Thankfully for us, this law really only effects the Applebee's, TGIFridays and Chili's in our neck of the woods. And unless I have really been slacking on my people watching, it has been a very long time since I have seen a pistol packing thug or a geeked out, gun toting Apache Junction resident in any of these locales. Gotta love the suburbs.
from seven-words :
FINALLY! I mean...that's cool! I would ask for more of a detailed description, but I'm not sure if that goes beyond diary protocol and procedures. And yeah, the unfortunate reality is that biological functions dictate that just about every women has the dreaded grandma's hanging out for those "special days". Bummed to see you locked up your diary. ;-\
from fourohseven :
i like your stories.
from erlenweg6 :
I don't see any problem with you going out on dates with two different guys on two different nights! Like you said, you haven't made any commitments with either of them. The only potential eyebrow raiser might be if you end up making out with both of them. A hug and kiss good night is fine, but if you're going beyond that, it shouldn't be with more than one person at a time...at least that's MY opinion on the matter! :-)
from mzletty :
Oh my goodness! I was reading your profile and noticed you listed Anne of Green Gables! I totally love that movie and every time I see it I cry like a baby. Poor Gilbert *sniff sniff*
from mentalblank :
Yes, it is swinging around...but it wasn't when I got the e-mail. Every little bit helps.
from beagle47 :
you're welcome. thanks for the note and the notice! aim for the stars, t'. -b47-
from pixie-led :
Hey there, thanks for stopping by. I can't say that I've actually sold anything to people other than friends and family, but it's free of charge, so even if you don' sell anything, it doesn't cost you a penny anyway. I think you should set it up. Send me a note if you do, I want to check out your stuff.
from caerydd :
Thank you :)
from sirrybeans :
Before you go submit yourself to chili and crazy. Consider playing w/me, Kel and Dre. She won't be anywhere around. PROMISE.
from vegas-girl :
Heh. Your loss my gain I guess(can you sense the sarcasm?) Yeah, she's been out of control, but I have less than a month before I don't ever have to hear her voice again!! :-)))) Sorry you have been having a rough go of it. I'm glad that you've had a solid support system in your friends. :-) If you ever need someone to lean on feel free to look me up on yahoo or AIM. *hugs*
from sirrybeans :
pullmyponitale is my AIM. Please please oh wait here I am assuming that you have AIM okay well if you do could you please instant message me. I'd love to talk. Thanks for the many hugs lately. I think in the mext few months if I don't eat a bullet, hugs will be my savior. : )
from tenny19 :
I hope you feel better, I know what it is like to find a guy of your dreams, how special they are, I couldn't even imagine loosing the guy I have found, It would kill me, he's everything to me, but when I read your posts I read a strong woman who won't let things ruin her life, even when they are at their worst. Best luck for the future, take care
from waterstain :
i can't imagine coming home from a funeral to find someone else blue and on the floor. that'd be too much. how sad. (and on that happy, happy note... thank you for your note.)
from taliarant :
Thank you for letting me know, kind lady. I'm definitely contacting D-land about it, now, if no one else can get into the previous entries! This is so bizarre... Thanks for the help! :)
from sirrybeans :
Hey you! I'm glad you unlocked. If you need to talk to someone that isn't crazy (unlike someone we both know and loathe, well I loathe her) Me, Kel and Dre are all here. We're great listeners and feel like we know you anyway so we can help. We're here for ya!
from vegas-girl :
Thanks for the hugs...Yeah, it sucks but at least I get 8 weeks severance. Sorry to see you locked your diary, hope all is okay. *hugs*
from unluved-one :
do you live in tucson or marana?
from princes-drea :
just stopped in to say that i love your layout. diary is great. GO SUN DEVILS!!
from fourohseven :
Congratulations on the film. I've only done simple darkroom processing once or twice, so I have no clue how complicated it can get. Nice job!
from sirrybeans :
Okay so we (me, you, Vegas girl and our friend Dre) all have to meet. Crossing over when I discovered it a year ago swore to my boyfriend that it would be no time before he got his own show not just on the SCI FI channel. Lookie there. And the Mini Cooper!!! Dream Car! Hello!! I love I screan MINIIIIIIIIII everytime I see one in the streets. lol.
from fourohseven :
love the new design. and i hope it all turns out well with that fellow. i rather despise insurance companies; it seems to me they are more concerned with keeping costs down than helping people. damn their livelihoods, we just saved $100,000! (at the cost of how many people, though?)
from mentalblank :
Good luck with the interview!!! You'll do fine, just relax and think before you speak! You'll do fine!
from vegas-girl :
See, that is what I get for only listening to the news with half an ear. :-) I'm glad to hear it isn't he whole state but here in the east valley people are going crazy!!!!!! I've never seen anything quite like it. Of course I've only seen it at peak times(going to and from work). My brother in law got gas this morning around seven with no problems. I'm hoping that Kingman(our usual gas up stop on the way to Vegas) is fine as far as gas goes.
from vegas-girl :
lol, actually that was my friend Trace's entry...her diary name is sirrybeans. :-) Yeah, that really pissed us off that day...she took all the decorations down and said that we purposly used the "ugly" colors for her. Good God! Yeah I could fill a novel with stories about her but I try not to be petty...We've just heard so many stories come out of her mouth and eveyone hears a different ending from the one that was spoken before from her. Sigh. Glad you evening didn't go too bad. :-) I'm going to go post the poem about Terry right now.
from vegas-girl :
No worries, I don't exactly want her to know that I write here either. :-) What did I write about her on her birthday? I usually lock my posts about her because they um...never portray her in a flattering light shall we say. ;-) I'm going to post the clipping about Terry that was in Echo magazine a month ago. It's a poem Caryn wrote to him. Check it out if you would like. He was truly loved, I only hope he realized how much.
from fourohseven :

from fourohseven :
i have family in tennessee as well...i was just there in july, and i'm sure it's better in october. i hope you get out to see them. :)
from intheory27 :
Thanks for the guestbook note. :) I adore Jason. I just got back from seeing him live and he was absolutely amazing. I don't have his album, I'll admit, and I probably won't in the future. I have quite a bit of his live music and after seeing him live, I really don't like his studio tracks. To me, they sound rehearsed, and I'm all about his improv. But that's just one girl's opinion. ;) In any case, thanks so much for the note, and keep spreading the Jason love. :)
from fourohseven :
my thanks. :)
from fourohseven :
thank you. i appreciate the sentiment. :) and you can get good plastic at home depot. i don't know how much it costs, but we used it when we painted the inside of the house, and it worked really well.
from fourohseven :
this is nick from fourohseven, and i read what you wrote about people in tech support. i work in tech support, and believe me - it drives us batty as well. you're not alone. ;)
from prowlingleo :
Yeah I heard the text overlap was causing some problems for people, so glad you can read it now!
from beagle47 :
thank you, t. she was a great spirit. peace.

Hi Tali!! This is Rory from <a href="http://steelblossom.diary-x.com">Steel Blossom</a>. I moved my journal!!! Just wanted you to know!! Thanks!
from regglee :
this is reba and leesa here we were wondering if it's possible to tell us how you made ur banner or where you got it from? can you please drop us a note and tell us? thanx!
from beagle47 :
thank you. she was as good as humanity gets. peace.
from jenne1017 :
I mean as if it [a doctor telling a parient not to have kids] were an Rx. But I did think this area was your concentration, by how passionately you speak.
from jenne1017 :
LOL. You talk as if it were an Rx. It should be common sense not to have any more children is one is THAT depressed. And I am talking severe cases. Because I know PPD is pretty common, as far as mild cases. And you are correct -- this is all speculation in accordance to what the media [not just the one atricle I linked] is feeding us. Espcially by comparing it. But, it may just have to do with the woman being mental and not PPD. We won't know for a while!
from jenne1017 :
I know when it occurs. My point is that if she was depressed after one child, why have 2 more? And she did it 3 times -- and two of her tries resulted in 2 of her children's deaths.
from beagle47 :
thank you...there is still good in the world. if you grasp anything tightly, make it that concept. peace. (and i really mean that).
from soulepiphany :
It's awesome to see another Cowboy Mouth fan. We're a rare breed. ;) It's funny, I had found your page the day before, and lost it. I'm glad to have a link back now. Thanks for the note! ~sara
from cats77 :
oh my... you said... song that makes you happy ... "anything by cowboy mouth"... i couldn't agree more. i LOVE those guys!!!
from godzgirlz :
Just jumping around Diaryland and came across your Diray...Interesting Peace xo Anj
from sunnflower :
Glad to have you in the fotolog diaryring. I like your pics!
from sunnflower :
Hi from Suburban Island and thanks for adding me to your DLand favs. I was amazed at your story about finding your diary on the web and the porn hit - it was bizzare because the entry was so not-porn. I saw some code recently that will keep search engines out of your diary - wish I could remember where.
from jenne1017 :
thanks but I don't think the box is a color. Just opague
from anniesf :
cyber world...I don't trust
from kalel592002 :
I too, have been victimized by people I met on-line - in my case, women. Chatted daily with this woman I met in another chat - fell in love, sent her a few romantic gifts in the mail - only to have her dump me for someone who lived closer geographically!! Found out from other friends in the chat room. When confronted, she used the excuse she was waiting to tell me in the chat and didn't want to E-Mail me the news. Anyway, we all love and are foolish in that love. If we don't allow ourselves that risk, we don't get the benefits either darlin! Live and be well, okay?
from sandandwater :
Some rod went through something which made it not work. That's about all the car talk I could understand:)
from intheory27 :
Thank you so much for adding me to your favorites. How sweet of you. :) Thanks much!
from jenne1017 :
I support her more than anything but thanks for your input
from gingerbug :
Hi there. I would be happy to share, though you need to email me at [email protected] for info.
from neurotic-one :
I am soooo confused.....your name came up in red but the date is oct 20th......I feel as if I'm in the Twilight Zone. Congratulations on your own apartment.
from aloka :
Hey, there! I just wanted to say that I, too, was skeptical about the talent scout job. I figured it was based on commission, but this place I went to for an interview for is bi-weekly salary of $1,200 + commission. I thought it was going to be one of those jobs similiar to selling cutlery, but I'm glad I was wrong!
from neurotic-one :
I hope all goes well for you soon and that your heart mends quick.
from legendari :
I agree, if someone wants to fool someone bad enough, they can. But her reasoning isn't the same as yours. She just has a "feeling" that something isn't right. She cannot explain why she doesn't feel it is right. I have explained that he calls me from his house - which it is long distance, so it'll show up on his phone bill. She asks how I know it's from his house, how I know he's not lying and calling from someone else's house. And she's right, he could be, but you have to trust some time. He isn't online, we met at a singles dance type thing. I'm just frustrated with her, personally I think that mentioning it once was enough, not every time I say something about him coming back with "I don't know what to tell you, I think he's married."
from legendari :
Okay, I have some questions here. Was the married man you were seeing able to call you 2-3 times a day every day? Was he able to see you every weekend and sometimes through the week? I just cannot see that, my dad wouldn't have been able to and my brother-in-law isn't able to. I'm not talking coming by for a quick lunch or a quickie, he spends a large amount of time with me each time he sees me.
from jenne1017 :

from jenne1017 :
Really> That's weird in that the backgroud is black and the writing is purpleish-blue. Hmmm. The font for the writing is Papyrus and the linkage is Horny Devil...nadda special. Just downloaded it.
from jenne1017 :
damn the swooping birds! damn them :o) Thanks for dropping by. Sorry TV night for you was so emotional. After ER's finale, I dunno if I can watch sentimental TV again.
from anniesf :
Thanx Q Taliana.. Nice to meet you I have a great Valentine as well good night gal
from ajjreviews :
Hi! I love the way you right, and your layout is extremely beautiful. http://ajjreviews.diaryland.com is my review site, a few of my friends and I just set it up. Feel free to come and ask for a review! -Andrea
from inarticulate :
Reading your latest entry made me feel very sad. I've always heard that colds aren't communicable at the end, only at the beginning (when one's symptoms are hard to detect), which makes the exclusion of Aaron even less understandable. I haven't read enough of your diary to know if Luc has some sort of immunity problem that would make exposure to a cold terrifying to his mother, but it doesn't sound as if that's the case. I think she should have stayed home instead of depriving someone else of their Christmas for spurious reasons!
