If you are voting AGAINST Bush, check out http://BADNARIK.com he is for stoping the war in Iraq, and NOT sending more troops as Kerry is for (based on his debate answers). Vote your heart, not the less of two evils!

I think it is best for me to stay away from that website. I had to stop reading the part about Islam and how wrong it is when people think that everyone has the same God.

Thanks for the comment in my diary. I'm a bit late with my reply. I understand what you are saying and I agree to some extend. I don't think they should let kidnappers get away with what they ask for. At the same time, I feel they sometimes should. In those cases where their demands are reasonable. Maybe I say this because I really pity those in the care of kidnappers. Maybe I say it because I have a narrow outlook on politicians. I don't think they always do, what is in the best interest of the simple individual, or people in general. Because there is a life at stake. And if I were in that position, I would want them to do everything they could. No matter what they do under these circumstances, it will still be negative.

I think the new layout is great, I love the pictures and haven't had any problems loading them. What about pictures of you? :)

Just so you know Elliot Smith put out quite a few albums out and they are just as good (if not better) than the Good Will Hunting soundtrack. He committed suicide earlier this year though, it is very tragic.

Damn! I have no idea what is going on in your life right now but it really does not sound good. I hope you are okay and that your son is with you. I'm not religious at all but I am a firm believer in good vibes so I will send as much as I can your way. Take care and update when you can.
from meli-melo :
Are you home yet?

it's amazing how the patriot act has literally made everything you would think it would be illegal for the government to do, in fact, legal. i'm sorry. let's go to school and play the game and we'll work hard to right wrongs.
from shesajar :
good luck with your husband. i am sorry about your hard luck.
from shesajar :
oh, and as a post script... you should check out tigerknight's diary. he is a friend of mine studying law at harvard right now and spends most of his summers in the middle east. he hopes to do something there regarding human rights. he's someone i think you will enjoy reading.

oops. i messed that first note up. i just wanted to drop you a "welcome" and a "hello." i loved your last entry about israel. it's become insensitive to be critical of the israeli government, but perfectly normal to ignore the international laws they break. it's a horribly sad situation all around. i look forward to reading more about your thoughts and life. where in the states are you?
