Try..."a beautiful woman like yourself should be treated to a nice dinner from time to time..don't you think?" The key is always to start with a nice compliment.... You can rehearse with me if you like.... I like sushi. hahahaha....

why don't you start chatting with people online from japan and perhaps you will be close enough to hang out the next time you go.. the japanese are a private, closed in society. they are generally very conceited and don't like americans. women in japan are intelligent (most of them) they are nice and all that to american men because they have been taught that americans make a lot of money and will take care of them...they are very subservient to men so if you're into that..there you go.. but yeah...i'd have to say if you wanted a japanese woman, go to okinawa. and get an okinawan woman because they are very nice and friendly (some are kinda slutty) they are very interesting, and many of my friends ended up marrying them... anywho. i'm glad you learned so much there..

Incubus. See...I knew you was cool!
from rainyday33 :
a helpful hint for you.... most japanese people can read english. so your best bet is to write it for them, also if you're asking a question and they tell you the answer in japanese, you can say eigo de kaite kudasai, pronounced aygo kite-a kooduhsye that means write it in english please.. they are very good about that... thanks for linking my diary in your entry. :)
from rainyday33 :
i love your entry about japan. i miss it so much, and you brought back all the little nuances that made it so great.. have you tried using one of their napkins yet? they are coated in wax, and everyone i knew called them "smearykins" because all they did was smear the food etc. around on your hands. also interesting is their attempt to translate japanese into english. maybe you have seen the signs, maybe you haven't but they are pretty humourous. and most of them don't make any sense whatsoever... man... i miss japan..especially tokyo.. you should go to the emperor's palace gardens. it's beautiful there..

hey there, i just moved to oklahoma from japan (my dad is a marine) anywho, i would like to comment on the club thing. if they don't want you to enter, it may not be for that reason. they are just anti-american in some cases. they think that americans are really irresponsible and they DO have the tendency of getting into fights at bars and raping the japanese women...

I am simply *green* pea green with envy at the thought of someone having a vacation in Japan. However, if you decide to go take some wonderful pictures so I can live vicariously through you :) I keep coming back to read.
