The Page of Relentless Insanity

What can I say, the world continues around me but I don't feel like i'm part of it. As your average white XXXVI old slob, my diction is flawed, my perspective is whacked (mostly by the usage of said adjective), partially by the inordinate amount of isolation anyone in the middle of Nowhere, KS can perceive. I aspire to fiction writing yet fail at producing anything interesting, let alone publishable. Also, everyone who has tried to contact me on diaryland has vanished without explanation. I'm like the Bermuda Triangle, outdated but somehow still dangerous.

My favorite diaries:

lunchladies profile - diary
comments: ok, who can resist the Lunchladies of Mordor? Seriously, it's great.

My favorite music:

The New Amsterdams
comments: Sorrow, refined and spun like sugar into a great album
The Weakerthans
comments: For life without anything that isn't of quailty
Pedro the Lion
comments: For when you are feeling just that suicidal
Jennifer Warnes
comments: I found this vinyl record in my mother's basement, the photo on the front grabed me, so I had to go find a record player and see what it was about. I don't regret it.
Bad Religon
comments: Hell, pure punk with a anti-establishment/reformation theme, like a anarchist's conformation class

My favorite movies:

Lady in the Water
The 300
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Snatch
Thumbsucker

My favorite authors:

Ayn Rand
comments: Smart people should rule the world, tis true.
Orson Scott Card
comments: i'm sorry Terry Goodkind, but your last one left something to be desired, and plus Shadow Puppets was that fucking cool.
Taylor Caldwell
comments: Kinda like a dark look at the glory peirods of america, with some soul wrenching plots. 'Tender Victory" will leave you sobbing, no matter what you think can't phase you
George R. R. Martin
comments: A Song of Fire and Ice promises to be the best epic fantasy yet to date.
L. E. Modesitt, jr.
comments: Perspective and Balance, perfect characterization, Recluse seems to drag a bit, but think of it like Robert Jordan: It's good, but long and strenous. Archform: Beauty is the best book on music i've ever come across

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
