It’s been three years.
What’s been interesting is that in the last three years I have:
- Earned my Bachelor’s degree
- Welcomed my daughter into the world
- Said goodbye to Zero (dog)
- Changed employers (after 13 years of working at one place in my adult life)
- Experienced a whirlwind of experiences with the pandemic through said new employer
- Sold my first house and bought a new house
- Helped my Mom and brother buy a house in the same neighborhood as my house
I’d like to assure that all of the struggle with the day to day pain of living with a chronic disorder has come to a much more manageable place. I’ve learned to let go of things (like playing guitar) while finding joy in other things (singing more). I’m proud of where I am in my mindset, health, family life, and career today.
Just hoping that the next three year update at least confirms that the good stuff has been maintained, so let’s put that into the universe.
