HI READERS!

Long time, no write, eh? I'd say so. I've been busy, but then again I haven't been.

I found out that DePaul never had me listed as being a graduate. I had never techincally graduated according to their system. What the !#@$??? I walked two years and three months ago, damn it! I wore the cap and gown, I took all the right classes, applied for graduation, I FREAKING WALKED IN THE CEREMONY and they still had me listed as never graduated. What the hell?!?!?! I don't get it. That's why I couldn't register for classes this coming fall.

See, I was having problems with online registration. I thought it had to do with me applying for classes LAST fall and my application maybe not being still active or whatever. Turns out they have me listed as NEVER GRADUATED but NOT ALLOW PROCESSING, so I couldn't register for any more classes.

It's all so confusing.

So I talked to someone in Liberal Arts and they are sending me my diploma and trying to straighten out my whole Graduation thing. They know I graduated, they remember who I was in Liberal Arts, but for reasons no one knows, I'm still listed as a student, someone on perhaps a leave from classes.

GRRRRRRRR!

Anyway, it's all going to get fixed so that I can get copies of my transcripts for my grad school application.

Now that's getting more real to me by the day. A whole year living away from home. I'll try, of course, to come home for Christmas and for Cousin Jimmy's wedding in Las Vegas, but who knows? It's a long time completely on my own and not knowing the land or culture. Yikes! Don't fret, I'm not backing out, just getting nervous.

Caroline's here. She came in on Monday. Joe's in SEVENTH HEAVEN! It's cute. She's great. I like having her here already. It's funny, I've only known her for maybe 9 days (a week in May and two or so now) and I like her so already.

Labor Day weekend was fine. Friday night after work I met up with Joe, Cindy, Abbie, Mike & Kristin at BW3's for food and a few beers. We had a nice time. I was feeling pretty good! Then Abbie and I went home and went to bed.

Saturday I had to work from about 8:30-4 and then picked up Joe to take him home with me for the weekend. We got home at the very end of mass and then did dinner at home with the Kaletas and McNally. Of course, we went to the House afterwards.

Sunday we went to Marty's first football game and they WON! (WAY TO GO VIKINGS!) and then we went to eat afterwards at Culver's. Ewwwww! I went to Kristin Westlund's BBQ and hung out there most of the night. There was a TOTALLY HOT CANADIAN GUY THERE! OH MY GOD! Wow. Usually not my "type" either, but he was cute.

Monday I went to Target and Kohl's and lunch with Liz and Meghan. Then we saw "The Good Girl" with Mom and Liz and Meghan.

Have to go do some work now.
