Well, I think I'll break my 3 month fast from good ol' Diaryland with a proud Hurrah for Me! I responded to a job offer for a Freelance Research Assistant. Sounds prestigious. I had 3 of the 5 requirements which isn't too bad. I mean, how important is a college degree anyway? How about a degree from the school of hard knocks?? Har har. I don't expect to hear from them but it felt damned good to "do" something. I have several mountains of laundry awaiting my attention and my phone is beeping repeatedly; announcing a new text message. That is about it on my agenda folks...I guess I'll do a driveby of the library and harvest some vegetables from the garden. Whew...I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I did drag my ass onto the treadmill today..I've looked at it about as much as I have my little diary the last few months. I've read a great deal though. Don Chaon-Await Your Reply. I've been listening to some old 90's stuff. Live Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, Superunknown, Temple of the Dog, Mother LoveBone. Then also, Menomena, Band of Bees. Coda from Led Zeppelin. We have the best radio station here. It is community radio 90.9 KRCL. I have discovered so much new music to love because of them. I love them so much I think I am going to ask them to marry me. No TV really...just whatever stupid shit is on Chiller. I want to watch last season's Dexter so I am waiting for it to come in at the library. I am on this new kick now to see how much I can get for free. It is interesting to remove oneself from whirl of buying shit. I miss the high I get from it but I am committed to see how far I can get.
