New year wishes

This will be the dullest New's Years Eve of all I have experienced before. But I am happy about that. I just want to get a good nights sleep.

For the next year I want not major life changes. No home buying or selling. No pregnancies, no births. No hospitalizations, surgeries, IVs, and vitals checks with each shift change. No job changes. No funerals. Weddings are okay but none of folks in my immediate family.

Just a boring year, smooth and even. A settling in year. One to watch my son grow, and enjoy my husband again. Rediscover things I used to enjoy and find new things too. Time to get around to doing the things that nag me by their undoneness. But little things - not big things.

2003 will be the year of the little. Heh.
