Wow! 25 days since I updated...I thought diaryland would shut down without me. Guess not!
I am going to sound like a broken record, but I am swamped at work - busier than I ever have been. It's a good thing though, I am poised to meet and beat my revenue goal this year by about a half million bucks. Good cuz I get mega bonuses, bad cuz that is the benchmark to set my 2005 goal. What to do, what to do...sandbag and forego the bonus, or book it all and buck it up for next year?
The boys are good, in fact they are great. I cannot even tell you how much in love I am with my 2 sons. Grant is a little pistle and a challenge, but a really good boy overall. Wishing the potty training would commence, but we keep trying. Last night him and Lucy Bean were sitting there with their naked booties on the potty and toilet together. Pinkytusk and I looked on with admiring eyes, how very cute they were...I wonder if there will be a time in the future where they are naked together again? I hope not...between Lucy's dad RG and Grant's dad, they are likely to sponteneously combust with anger.
Jackie has 8 teeth now! He is an eating machine too. And just so very cute. I cannot believe his first birthday is coming up in December.
I am looking forward to a nice holiday weekend. Halloween is one of my favorites. I don't dress up, but I just love the time of year, the feel of autumn in the air, and the "spookiness" of it all. I remember when I was younger that Devils night (the 30th) was sometimes even more fun than Halloween itself. We got free reign to soap the neighbor's car windows, toilet paper their front lawns, and shaving cream their porches. All in good fun. It was almost exprected of us. My, how times have changed.
Took the train home last night and witnessed a dead body on the tracks. Pretty scary. There was a black tarp over it, and about 30 police surrounding it. I don't know if it was suicide or an accident, an adult or a child, just not sure. No word of it on the news either. Odd.
Well, back to the grind. I have a 300 page report to review this morning. Putting more coffee on....
