Well, bless sandyz and ramle-on for their notes. I was suprised that anyone would be reading here (the Marina, that is), and pleased to get those two notes.
Mrs. E and I (not e, i, and o) are in the process of simplifying our lives to some small extent. We're planning to move to a smaller house and to reduce our workloads. We want to have more time to enjoy the wonderful things we have in our lives (such as our son, and our friends). So why wait till we're in our 90s (ha ha)?
I have been having a fine time at work lately. Partly this is because I've changed my attitude a bit to make it easier to enjoy what I do, and the "clients" (oh, this is a word I use loosely) I work with. Somehow, the result is a better overall environment. Now, I have to admit that I have the kind of job that allows me to control a lot more of my job than perhaps most people are able to. This is only part of the largely undeserved good fortune in my life.
Anyway, speaking of work, I'd better get back to it.
