A new Baby
Not Pregnant.
But we did get a new baby.... Here she is:
Her name is Amity, and she's 4 months old! Hubby brought her home for me as an Easter gift, and we have been learning to live with a puppy ever since.
Not really all that much else is new and/or exciting. Three months after stopping the pill I have finally gotten my period again. But with the new addition, we may hold off on trying to conceive again until after the summer is over and Amity is a bit bigger.
Now, you might wonder what the other two think of the dog. (The other two being my fat male cats that think that they run the house - mostly we let them.) Well, they aren't really impressed. Koojoe stays upstairs most of the time but he is starting to venture out a bit more to sniff at the puppy and see what the new addition is all about. Texas is just a shithead, and growls at the dog every chance he gets. This is pretty much what I expected though, cause they have been my babies for 3 years and suddenly there is someone new... Both are starting to settle down a bit, and now I just need to teach Amity that the cats are not squeeky toys and do not like to be chased and all will be good.
As an added bonus, I think I'm getting an ear infection, but I am determined not to get sick. Hopefully my body will listen.
