“Some moments can only be cured with a big squishy grandma hug.”
― Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing

I went to visit my Nan today. She's 90 next year, and moved a fair distance away (nearer her daughter, my aunt) when she downsized to a cute little assisted living apartment. I used to see Nan once a week before she moved out a couple of years ago, but now I see her so infrequently, that my heart often skips a beat when I see how old she is getting. She's my only grandparent I have, and she is so dear to me. We had some sandwiches and I bought her some Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which she loves (who doesn't?)

In other news, I've finished my assignment for University, and submitted it a few moments ago. That is a weight off. I honestly have no idea how I've done with it. Actually I suppose I do. I've either barely scraped through, or failed miserably. And what's even better, is that my next module begins Monday. I really want to treat myself to a takeaway, but I set some firm rules in place a few entries ago about all that stuff didn't I? But saying that, some of my records sold on eBay this afternoon (one went for an unprecedented £185... I had no idea it was worth so much!), so I do have a lil' extra... for the time being though, I have moved it into my savings account, so all eBay proceeds are separated and can then be used to make one giant overpayment on my credit card when I am done selling.

I guess I'll go make a sandwich.
