I know I cannot figure out why the hell its asking for a password because there is nothing in the password boxes! Argh! Anyway try putting aidan for the name and for the password.

I hope you read your notes :) When we took her camping she slept with me in the back of my van. My van is a big ole hippy van and has a lay down back so we just slept on that together. I brought my boombox and our Bach cd that we listen to at home during sleep so no weird noises woke her up. During the trip we had a HUGE rainfall so it go pretty cold (30's) that night but we were both really bundled up. During the day i think it was aobut 85 but we mostly hung out under the shade of a canopy or tree. We had a blat. She was really calm and easy going on the trip. I did take my sling and bakpack and a bouncer thing so she wouldnt be layingn the ground and i could hike with her too. I hope you all are doig wel. M
from silverscorp :
She's definitely probably going through a growth spurt, which means even less sleep time for you, but she's boosting your milk supply. Are you pumping? My biggest advice to a mother returning to work is pump NOW! I wish I would have pumped weeks ago. Now I'm pumping constantly just to get enough for his next day feedings. He's still on formula, which is all my fault because I didn't plan ahead. I'm sorry she's so fussy through the night. Remember me saying that about Aidan? It's gotten so much better Nancy and I know it will for you too. Please know I'm so here for you if you wanna just vent or whatever. I know how crazy all of this can make a new mom. I thought I was the worst mom ever, but we're not, we're just mothers who want all the pain to go away for our child. Keep updating. I found that posting my thoughts helped me, especially when I would look back on them. I would read them and think to myself how crazy I was to feel such a way, because Aidan and I are closer than ever and nobody can take place of his mommy.

How funny! I've also considered joining the Unitarian church! Glad to hear you are still alive!
from silverscorp :
Hey woman, we haven't heard from you in a couple of weeks. Hope things are okay with you and Evie. Aidan and I are doing terrific, we're figuring one another out and everyday gets better and better. Well hope to hear from you soon. God bless- Jen
from cosmopolitn :
Hope everything is going good with your sweet little family!
from mybabylove :
She may just be gettin very effecient at nursing. I am not sure when they get taht good but i know as they get older they can get 90% of the "meal" in 5 minutes. Also, the frewuent nursing may have been to up your production to meet her comming needs for a growth spurt.
from cosmopolitn :
Wish I could come visit you :) Glad to hear that you and Evie are getting more sleep and things will get better when she gets a little older...I think all they are supposed to do at that age is sleep & cry! Have a great week!
from mybabylove :
Do you have a sling? that is the ONLY way i get stuff done. I put Cali in a sling, wrap or backpack and go on my merry way.
from mystical76 :
I understand how you feel. It's like all they wants are your boobs! Falcon is fussy from 6-10, as well. He just started this a few days ago and from what I've read, it can last until he is 3-4 months old. Greeeeeeat...
from silverscorp :
I totally agree with you about one's sense of self. I do and don't want to go back to work, but ultimately I will because I'm not just a mother, I'm also Jenni and Jenni loves her career. I hope everything is going smoothly for you and your girl. We're doing okay. It's only going to get better.

Just a quick note from a newbie to D-land...you diary brings me back...thank you, I'll keep reading :) Blessings, Sunny
from mybabylove :
Hi, signed in under the baby diary here. The gripe water i guess is just given orally but i havent ever used it but people rave bout it. I really like any of Hyland homeopathics (colic, chamomile, teething mix) becasue they are gentle and teh babies like to eat them. My daughter actually gets excited when she sees me bringing out the bottle of tablets. I didnt want to use a paci at first then i realized that if she wanted it to sothe herself why not? Who am i to refuse her? Now (at 9 months) she likes to bite them while she is teething. She only really used it from birth - 2 months for actual sucking. She also likes t sleep with a silky scarf becasue the texture feels like a breast (or the inside of the womb) so she holds it, rubs her face with it, sucks it etc. I have like 6 of em and keep one in the diaper bag becasue she loves them! The 5s's worked for us too swaying, swaddleing, shushing were the best for us. You seem to be doing such a great job and i cant believe you are finding the energy to leave people notes! Do you have a sling? Iknow alot of mmoms use them while tyoing on the computer. I use mine to get any housework done.
from bubbles11090 :
Yay for sleep! Even if it just a little. :) I soooooo know what you are going through with the shield. Riley would not latch on to me and when he did, it was all wrong and would end up with him screaming and me crying. I saw a lactation consultant several times, and we just couldn't get it. So, I started using a shield. Unfortunately, we are still using it and Riley is almost 5 months old. He's so used to it now that he just screams until I put it back on. It's a pain sometimes, but at least it's still my milk, ya know? Hang in there and take care:)
from cosmopolitn :
Hi Nancy...I am so honored that in all of your sleep deprivation and new baby excitement that you left me a note...You are all ready a super mom and you didn't even know it! Things will get better with the sleeping thing, she will get it right, just HANG IN THERE! And, it will most likely be more helpful when you can pump so your hubby can help! I bet you three are just the cutest little family...I am so happy for you... As for me, I just took a little break from writing, but I think it is almost over :) I needed a couple weeks for time to reflect... My Grandma passed away Jan. 21st and Ryan left on the 30th so I have just had a lot going on and for some reason I haven't felt like writing it all down yet, for I think I am still digesting it all ya know? However, my Grandma went peacefully and gracefully, just how she would have wanted, and it was her time...The funeral was beautiful just like her and it is sad to not have her here on Earth anymore, but it would be foolish of me to not believe that Heaven isn't a better place...As for Ryan, I miss him terribly and it was very hard to say goodbye...I feel like a piece of my heart left when he did but I know I will get it back the day he comes home...We do get to talk on the phone and e-mail though so I am thankful for that...I try to stay busy and think of all of the positive things rather than the negative, bc I feel that is the only way I will make it through! I know we will have a wonderful long life together and that this is only a tiny little part that will be over soon... Again, thank you for caring...I hope things get easier and that you can get some more sleep! :) Rebecca
from vanillakitty :
Well, my 4yr old started sleeping through the night at 2 weeks old, which was a blessing. But my now 1 yr old.... hasn't slept through the night even once. He wakes up 3-4 sometimes 5 times a night. He is up most of the day, take 2 naps, one after lunch and one after dinner then to bed @ 8pm, but he wakes up every 2 hours for about an hour. When you were pregnant was the baby more active during the night or day? They say that if the baby is more active in your belly during the night they will be calm during the night after they are born. I lean to that being true cuz of my kids. Corbin was barely active during the night and Bri' was the oppisite. I started them on baby cereal when they were around 2 months old, they say if you do it any earlier it's hard for them to digest and will give them more gassy problems during the night. You could try adding in a bottle of formula after breastfeeding right before bed time. It helped me a little. Good luck!
from bubbles11090 :
I know things seem so difficult right now. I thought I would never sleep again right after Riley was born. I was cry and just want to go to bed. Riley was excatly like your little one for about the first 2 months. All of a sudden, he started sleeping longer and longer. Things will get better. It's so hard at the beginning, but it will get better. Hang in there and take care:)
from mybabylove :
I know this wont make you fel better but my daughter weighed 12 pounds at birth and now at 9 month and 20 pounds still doesnt sleep for 4 hour stretches :( BUT, that said, she only wakes quickly to nurse for a five minutes and then back to sleep so it really isnt that noticeable. About the screaming though, have you tried hylands colic tablets? or the baby bliss gripe water (i think that is what it is called) every mom i know swears by these things. The only thing i have used is chamomile tea, a warm bath and sometimes chamomile homepathics. Email me if you want more info or to commiserate [email protected]
from mystical76 :
I'm so happy that, even through the exhaustion and trials with the nipple shield, you sound like you are really bonding with your daughter! I'm glad to hear that you're producing enough milk and that your LC was able to help with your breastfeeding problems. It sounds like you're going to be a wonderful mommy.
from frozen-angel :
CONGRATS on your natural birth! I am so happy for you mama!
from silverscorp :
I wasn't getting much sleep either at first, only because I was breastfeeding every two hours and when he slept, I was moving around, cleaning and just doing things I thought needed to get done. I've found that Aidan loves to sleep on my chest right after a big meal, meaning when he nurses on both breasts instead of just one. We haven't been able to put him in his crib or bassinet, so he's still sleeping with us. I find that I get about three hours at night when he's on my chest or curled in my arms, then we wake, nurse for an hour on both breasts, then sleep another 2-3 hours. During the day we've been taking naps the same way, but I nurse every two hours during the day. I hope this may help, but I think you and her will figure out a sleeping pattern together soon. There's nothing stronger than mother and baby.
from silverscorp :
Congratulations mom! I'm so happy for you, for us, we're so blessed aren't we? This is it. This is the beginning of the greatest adventure of our lives. I hope we remain friends and in contact to share our memories. Can't wait to hear about your little girl. It would be great if they could grow together. Take it easy on yourself and enjoy. Much love- Jen
from cosmopolitn :
Aww, I am so happy and excited for you! Little Evelyn, how cute...

I'll be thinking of you. That sounds scary to me, too. I hope I can avoid all of that induction stuff. And hospital stuff. I hope things go smoothly for you.
from vanillakitty :
As my hhubby told me.... "You earn the right to be grumpy carrying a baby for so long". The last week is always the worst but the best, know what I mean. Nothing seems to get done but there isn't really a whole lot to do. I worked up until I had my little boy. I went into work on a Friday in slippers cuz my feet were 10 sizes to big, but I was full of energy. Went home early, on my bosses orders, said I was doing too much & I needed to settle down. Sat eve, (after drinking an orange julius w/ caster oil) I was in labor. 4 days past my due date, but better than the 1 month past due date with my 1st. ICK!
from vanillakitty :
Any baby yet? No update in 3 days.... this must have been THE weekend!!! Hope you're doing good!
from mystical76 :
I know! Every time I see you've updated, I'm like, "Oh, she's had the baby!" Or "Oh, she's in labor!" I'm convinced now that I will be pregnant forever. It just seems like it's taking soooooooo long. My mom told me, though, to aim for February 6th and if he comes before that, then I'll think he's early. Ooooo, nice, mom. Her first (me) was born 5 days late, but the other 4 kids were early. So I think I only have to play this waiting game once...at least I hope so!
from mystical76 :
What a fantastic massage that must have been! I can't wait for normal ankles! Wow! You might be so close!!!!
from mystical76 :
Poor thing! You sound like you are totally ready to have her! If our babies would just listen to their mommies!!!
from vanillakitty :
My 1st was a month late, not fun! And a week before she was born my hands & feet swelled I think about 10 sizes. You're getting so close! Take care of yourself even if it's ick green sludge. *mwah*
from mystical76 :
Who knew we would feel so conflicted right now? I was disappointed yesterday when I didn't get an internal exam, too. How funny! I can't wait for him to get here and at the same time, I want him to wait. In reality, I want it to already be about a month from now.
from mystical76 :
Oh, my gosh, you are so right about the perineal massage. It is sooo not sexy. At all. The first night we did it, I could only hold out for 3 minutes, then the next night 4 minutes, and last night 5 minutes. Greg has such enormous hands that I feel like maybe I'm getting EXTRA-stretched, which would of course be great!
from cosmopolitn :
Good luck this week!
from silverscorp :
So glad to know we're having the same symptoms and that I'm not just pooping for the heck of it lol. Anyway you seemed to be so swamped with work. I hope you take some time for yourself. We're so close and stress is never good. You're in my thoughts.
from cosmopolitn :
Happy belated Birthday! I can't wait until I am out of that confused phase...I'm sure it is wonderful...
from silverscorp :
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!!!!! I so hope you are feeling better and have gotten some rest. Take care girl!
from mystical76 :
Wow! I could have written that entire entry! I feel so bad for Greg, what with my snoring and all. Aren't you just ready to be DONE?
from cosmopolitn :
How exciting for you! This is going to be a great year...Merry Christmas!
from mystical76 :
Oh, wow! 50% effaced is so exciting! Yes, I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything...you could still be weeks and weeks away from delivering. Doesn't it feel weird to have all of your appts scheduled? Last week, I scheduled all of them up until Feb 9th. I sure as hell better have this kid by then!!!!!
from bubbles11090 :
Hey!! I got sick with Meniere's Disease..which affects the inner ear. For the last 2 months of my pregnancy, every 2-3 days I would get so dizzy that I couldn't do anything but lie in bed and because I was dizzy all I did was throw up constantly. I was in the hospital 7 times before I had Riley. Of course, they couldn't really give me medicine to help with it because I was pregnant. So, I was just always hooked up to an IV for fluids and some pain medication. It was awful. The doctors believe that the pregnancy made extra fluid build up in my inner ear thus causing the dizziness and vomiting. I even got a steriod shot in my inner ear. That was the 2nd most painful thing I have ever gone through....1st being childbirth! It's all worth it though. :) Take care:)
from mystical76 :
How scary and exciting at the same time! I've read that the mucous plug can regenerate itself (oddly enough!) and it is not uncommon for women to lose to mucous plug at ANY point during pregnancy.
from bubbles11090 :
Hey!! Thanks for replying and leaving me a note. My pregnancy went great until the 7th month. I got really sick and was in the hospital off and on for those last 2 months. My baby (Riley) was just fine though...Thank God:) Labor was hard...14.5 hours. Ugh. It's so worth it though when you get to hold your little baby in your arms. Take care and make sure you get as much sleep as you can now..... :)
from silverscorp :
I have an appointment as well on Monday for an internal exam. I, like you, will feel much better about whats going on with my body as well. You're getting the abdominal cramps real bad and i'm constantly feeling a throbbing in my uterus. I mean, Aidan can't possibly have the hiccups that much can he? I haven't noticed any discharge, especially at night because I pee in the dark lol, but I have noticed a lot more "leakage". Gross. Hope you don't worry yourself too much before the next prenatal exam.
from bubbles11090 :
Hello!! I just stumbled upon your diary...I just wanted to wish you good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I just had my baby 12 weeks ago, so it's fun to read about how your pregnancy is going. Take care!
from cosmopolitn :
Hope the baby gets off your bladder and have a great weekend!
from mystical76 :
Yeah, I think it's colostrum. My nipples have been leaking a little for a couple weeks, too. Usually, I just fine a dried flake or two. But once in awhile, I catch a couple drops of clear liquid right on the tip. Have you noticed how much your nipples are changing, too? I feel like such a mommy now, like my nipples are totally ready for the baby! They feel waaaaay less like sex toys now!
from d1mndn3r0ugh :
You are right in assuming it is colostrum leaking from your breasts. BTW, you are doing the right thing by using warm water to gently rinse it off. On the up side, this is a good sign that you'll be successful in your breastfeeding "adventure". And don't worry about the waddle...most ppl think it's cute. I'm only 4 mos preg right now (3rd child) and I'm actually looking forward to it!
from mystical76 :
Oh, oh, yeah. I love feeling pissy all the time... One of my friends with 3 kids was like, "Welcome to TRUE pregnancy." Ugh.
from mystical76 :
Oh, my gosh! I thought I was the only person who ate an entire bag of salad in one sitting. I'm really into them right now and I don't feel bad because they're ALL VEGETABLES! And my midwife said I could eat as many vegetables as I damn well please!
from frozen-angel :
Hi, i had the c section becasue my water broke with mec in it and inever went into labor on my own. We tried pit but it didnt work at all :( I feel confident that i could have birthed a baby her size but it was too dangerous to leave her in the mec for too long. She was 12 pounds and 22 inches. We started the perinium torture at 20 weeks. We did it every night. I had my husband do it for me. After awhile it wasnt too bad and it really helped me learn how to relax those parts. When my mw would check me and sweep my membranes i could tell myself "relax" and my whole "area" would just relax. It is a great tool. Definately go check out the AP board. I am on there most days. My user name is mommy2cali. I have alot of the stuff like birth story and such on my baby site mybabylove.diaryland.com
from frozen-angel :
Hi, the perinium massage hurt a bit at first but i got used to it - too bad it was wasted since i ended up a c section :( Why do they call it massage - it is not a massage by any stretch! If you want more info on parenting read dr sears book. You seem to me to be the type who will fall into attachment parenting or natural parenting so you may want ot check our babycenters AP board.
from mystical76 :
Yeah, I was thinking about the black maya wrap, too, but I figured it would also be too hot. And I plan to have my next kid in about 2-2.5 years. So, could you imagine carrying a toddler around in a black maya wrap while pregnant during the summer?!?!?! That's just about my worst nightmare!!!
from cosmopolitn :
Aww..Safari will be so cute..(I forgot about the fact that you will probably have more children and wouldn't want to get too girly!) I'm sure it is going to be adorable!

Good to hear you are finally recovering...I am happy you are liking the color of the babies room more...Crown molding always makes any room look wonderful! Do you have a theme for it or anything? Let me know if you need any suggestions, I LOVE decorating...
from silverscorp :
Thanks for the shout-out for my birthday. That's very sweet of you and I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. Also thanks for the medicine website, though they didn't have Tylenol PM on it. Oh and are you registered anywhere?
from silverscorp :
Sending good thoughts and wishes your way! Hope you feel better soon, if not right this minute!!!!! I know your worries on medication, even with specialists say it's A-Okay. I quit taking Tylenol PM, just because it started to scare me thinking Aidan may be affected. Sorry about the test, but you must remind yourself that you are taking good care of yourself and your little girl, so don't let it stress you. It seems that challenges upon challenges go on in this thing called pregnancy, but we're tough chics and we can handle it.
from mystical76 :
I know! Three more months of THIS and WORSE!!! One of my preggo friends who is a week away from delivering said she pees about 6 times a night. What?!?!? I'm only at 3 now...could you imagine getting up 6 times every night? Oh, yuck!
from cosmopolitn :
Hope you feel better soon..How awful to have all that wrong at once and be preggo on top of it all! Hope you don't get too stressed at work and when was your due date again? I forgot! Cos..
from mystical76 :
I'm glad you updated. I was getting worried! It sucks that you're so sick!
from silverscorp :
So glad to read you're back, but unfortunately feeling ill. Hope you feel better. We've hit the 3rd trimester! Woohoo!
from cosmopolitn :
Are you okay? I noticed you haven't updated in awhile...Hope everything is all right! :)
from mystical76 :
My next visit is on October 27th. I think I schedule my GB test then (if I remember correctly). It will probably be a week or 2 after that.
from mystical76 :
I know! What's with the sugar obsession? I swear, this child is like, "You NEED candy, you NEED chocolate, you NEED cake, you NEED cookies". So I just know I'll probably develop diabetes. Urgh!
from silverscorp :
I was wondering if everything was ok. So nice to read you're fine. I understand what you're going through with the shortness of breath and doubts about the baby's sex. I get out of breath just by having a conversation sometimes. And I've been told that I look like I'm carrying a girl. Well what does that look like? Other people don't realize that the slightest comment can stress us out. Just keep taking it easy girl and big congrats on the job advancement.
from silverscorp :
So glad to hear you in good spirits. We've both gained the average weight of 15 pounds so far. Sounds like we're embracing our motherly figures. Cheers to a fabulous weekend!
from mystical76 :
Oh, whenever I hold my belly at work, I get the "Is everything OK?" I also get this while trying to burp, while shifting in my seat, etc. I've heard a little bit about hypnotherapy. In fact, at my first appointment, my midwife suggested it. But that's as far as I've gone. I find it intriguing, though.
from mystical76 :
I'm due 01/31/05. I joined your dueinfeb ring, though. I've got a 50-50 shot between delivering in January & delivering in February! I found another Bradley instructor online today whose classes start in about 2 weeks. And she's only about 15 minutes away. I e-mailed her today. That would be so cool if I could actually nail down an instructor! My mom delivered 3 kids with Bradley, so I think she definitely influenced me. I've heard the same thing about Lamaze, too! I'm just so surprised that women don't want to inform themselves about birth and pregnancy. Like they blindly trust doctors and institutions to know what's right for them! Argh!!!!!
from mystical76 :
Hi! I found you from the preggos ring. That was great to hear that your friend decided to use the Bradley method and you had such an active part in it!!! My husband and I are trying to find a good Bradley coach in our area & we're planning a birthing center birth, too!
from silverscorp :
You have done a complete 180 from how you've been feeling lately, and I'm so happy to hear you're feeling great! I just smile when I read your post. Because we are literally feeling, thinking, and experiencing the same things, it's amazing. I swear to you last night I was lying in bed giggling because I was playing with him as well. I would push down on my uterus and he would respond very quickly with a movement of his own. I did that until I fell asleep. Happy Friday Nancy!
from silverscorp :
Thanks sweetie for the shoutout. I know how you're feeling lately with the pregnancy. I'm going through it too. I feel absolutely blissful one second and the other I'm wishing I could so go back to the way I was a year ago. Glad to hear you're feeling your little girl. It's amazing isn't it? I could be on the verge of screaming from moodiness and frustration and feel him move or kick and I just smile, feeling like I have a little secret from the world. We're going to be awesome mothers!
from wendyloo :
Hey thanks, I decided a fall color change would be nice. About the pregnancy weight gain: don't worry so much about the numbers as long as everyone's healthy. I didn't stay under 25 pounds with either child, in fact, I didn't stay under 40 pounds but that's a whole other story. Maybe the baby animal dreams come from your own feelings, maybe holding and cuddling a kitten or puppy you had motherly feelings or maybe the first time you learned about milk coming from a mom was watching kittens or puppies suckle. I had some wacko dreams when I was pregnant.
from aliboomboom :
Everyone's baby looks different in utero, they are all laying in different positions and so on and that's why the bumps look different. Mine evened out towards the end. They are all cute though. Good luck with the book idea. I've often thought of writing one myself.
from aliboomboom :
I linked to your diary via cosmo. I just had a little boy in July and I had a lot of fears too. The father and I were never married and I basically decided not to have him involved but now I worry about what affect that will have on my son. I think it's best for him to not be around but what if my son resents me for that? I just have a million fears, it comes with the territory. It's great that you get to stay home with your little girl. I wish I could stay home but I have to go back to work in October. I can't imagine leaving the baby with a baby sitter every day but I guess it's something that most moms do eventually. My mom was a stay at home mom too and I wish I could at least be like her in that aspect. Oh well. I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your diary!! Good luck!!
from silverscorp :
Oh Nancy that's terrific news. Of course though I would have said this whether boy or girl. I know you have tons of thoughts to put down now that you know the sex. I'm sure I will be the same in a week! I can't wait to find out. I'm so glad we're going through this and that we can know we're not totally insane for feeling the way we feel.
from cosmopolitn :
YEAH!!! A little girl...I am so happy for you...
from silverscorp :
Glad to hear the appointment went well. I can't wait for my next one, i'm still worried a little. I think I've gained about 11 pounds. Maybe it's true about the second trimester being the most energetic, because i'm feeling really good. Also when do you find out the sex?
from jane-girl :
at least salsa is high in fiber. you can rationalize it as being part of the huge quantities of roughage pregnat gals are supposed to eat ;)
from silverscorp :
I don't know if this is the pregnancy bliss time. I do know how you feel about classical music. I'm into that as well. I will drive listening to the classical stations and it's puts me in such a relaxed mood. I'll also some nights listen to bands like Enigma and Enya in the dark with a glass of wine and just escape everything. It is bliss. Glad you're having a good day.
from bonnylisbon :
I could not agree more. It's like the protestors feed off of fear. Where were they before the pregnancy? If they want to stand outside of a clinic and condemn us to hell, as well as telling us "it'll be ok" if we go with them, they why the hell do they support abstinence only sex education in schools?
from mybabylove :
Hatch green chili ***DROOLS*** I love this time of year - they are roasting it on every street corner and the air smells like it - yummy

Hi, i found myself in the same postion when i was preggo (my little girl is now almost 4 months) so i joined on babycenter - they have pagan parent groups, and also regional groups - i have met moms on there in my city and now go to playgroups with them. Good luck!
from silverscorp :
Thanks for the compliment. It's funny how I think I look bigger when I look in the mirror and when I look down lol. I can still see my feet though! I'll try to post a pic every week. The digital camera I have is a real cheap one. I just use it for whatever. I don't care about the lighting or the pixels or whatever, just take the picture and download it. Anyway hope your week is pleasant.
from wendyloo :
Hi there, thanks for adding me to your Buddy list, I was a little surprised to see a new person. Congrats on the little one.
from silverscorp :
I almost called in sick yesterday too. I didn't have my boss's number on me though. Funny how we both felt like doing that.
from bonnylisbon :
Isn't it horrible here? I mean you'd think I'd get used to it, I've lived in Southern California all my life, it's almost as if it gets worse. I guess I was sheltered in that respect, I grew up with girls who were not like the typical "cali girl" at all, and I was fortunate enough to meet some very decent, sensitive boys. Now that I'm kind of forced into this world I'm not familiar with, it's tough. Thanks for keeping in touch, you really are kind and you'll be a great mama.
from bonnylisbon :
You are a truly a jewel in a very scary world.

I'll look into the breast milk ordeal as well. I'm was a D cup to start with too, now I am a DD also. I want to breastfeed as well, my mother didn't breastfeed me or my brother and she had a lot of infections. Besides I hear when you breastfeed you lose a lot of the weight you put on during the pregnancy!

Thanks for getting back to be and being so honest. I was kind of reluctant to click that little "done!" button after that first note I sent you. You never can tell when someone might call you a horrible, awful, "killer" when it comes to the very delicate issue of whether or not you have the child. I'd like to tell you that I hope you have a very happy, healthy, wonderfully cool kid.

I haven't read your diary, but I saw your profile, so please excuse me if I'm asking you questions that are in your diary. So, did you always know you were going to have the baby? Did you ever consider "not" having it? I'm going to be honest, since there's a chance you'll check out my diary and find out anyhow. I was pregnant...once, and chose not to go through with it. I used to think that young girls that went through with it until the end were total nutbags, BUT now that it's all over and done with for me, I can say that you have a whole lot of courage, and what you're doing takes a hell of a lot more guts and backbone then what I did.

we are 3 weeks apart or a little less. I will be 17 weeks this coming saturday. Our original due date was January 11th. But since twins don't go full term they have given me a date of December 25th or 28th. When I look at the calendar I would imagine I would have them sometime before Christmas... but you never know. I've already grown out of some of my maternity clothes. I've been wearing them since early on. So far I've only gained 9 lbs which the doctors say is great. We find out the gender on Aug 6th. As long as I find out what the sex is of one of the babies I'll be excited. I want to start shopping. Take care of yourself!

I know how you feel about waking up to no food. Your sister-in-law sounds like she needs to be smacked with some manners and a little common sense. I woke up to no pickles the other morning, I was furious. I had a huge craving for one. I almost yelled at Tim about it, but then realized I had ate all of them the night before lol. Anyway, take it easy on yourself, you know how everyone says we don't need to be stressing. Looking forward to your next appointment might help. Can you believe we're in the 2nd trimester already?

Congrats! I too am pregnant with twins. I'm a newby to diaryland as my cousin talked me into documenting the pregnancy. However, I chat more about general things than I do the pregnancy. When is your due date? I would imagine from reading your diary we are pretty close in weeks. Take care of your self and the baby!

You should feel beautiful! Strutt that stomach because I am sure you look soooo cute (and it is the only time women are allowed to have bellies like that)...Enjoy it while you can! Thanks for the advice about Ryan...Things have been going better and I mentioned what you said you him...I think he knows he should get help but you know men, he probably won't... Hope you are feeling good and have a great weekend! COS

my cousin [hockeytwins] is almost 16 weeks now with her first set of children! i can't imagine getting pregnant for the first time & having twins. omg. well i just stopped in to say hello. i had her start a diary to document her pregancy & stuff too - she reads me everyday anyways so why not get her addicted to writing as well!! lmao congrats!
from silverscorp :
Congrats on 13 weeks! Me too! How neat is that? We must have a close due date. I'm still able to fit in some of my clothes, but it's snug. Hope you're feeling well.
from cosmopolitn :
I hope you hear the heartbeat today! How exciting for you...A lot of my friends have had babies recently and they all lost the baby weight so don't worry about that, it comes off pretty easy especially for your first! I'm here for support if you need someone to talk to...
from emoheartsyou :
you seem like you're going to be the coolest mom ever! i wish my mom were earthy, alas, i had to "root" myself in that direction first... haha -best of luck with everything, and i mean that sincerely!

okay, when i gave you the beautify link, i messed up. it's http://beautify.embellished.org/ and there is another site with pregnancy designs for the diary (i get obsessed with these, seriously) and that is : http://vitriol.hands-down.net/free.html . i just like reccommending other designs to people because the diaryland ones usually suck. sorry if i'm annoying. :-/
from turbogeek :
sorry for another message but that moms-designs doesn't work and i can help you with the older entries page.
from turbogeek :
oh by the way, if you would like a cool layout for the diary, you could go to http://embellished.org/beautify and they have a site where you could get a template for preg people : http://mom-designs.diaryland.com/
from turbogeek :
