Hello again. I hope you don't mind me dropping by and commenting on your entries, but I feel we have some things in common, although I'm probably 15 years your senior. I lost my dad when I was a kid, and my mom married a year later. I know what it feels like to remain loyal to my dad, miss him bitterly, and have to go on with my life. I also lived off campus when I was in my first year, and I did feel disconnected. It was a bit depressing. If you are staying home to be in your dad's space, please remember that he is in your heart and your memories now. No matter where you are or who enters your life or your mom's, you have all the best parts of your dad with you inside. You're a gorgeous girl, talented, smart and you have a vision for the future. Please don't hesitate to see a therapist or counselor just to get things in your head straight and settled if at all possible. What you are going through (mourning, mom's new boyfriend, major life change - going to college) is enough to overwhelm and misdirect the best of us. I wish I had done the same. Best of luck and many hugs from the USA!

Thank you for sharing such an important day with us. That was very touching to read. Sounds like your dad would have been chuffed to bits with the day! I'm so sorry for your loss. I've tried to leave you several comments in the past week, but they never show up. I think they've been too long! My dad died nearly 4 years ago. He was only 52. I had friends who were supportive and tried to help, but no-one else knew what it was like. None of my friends had lost a parent. I didn't have my diary at the time. I wish I had. It may have helped. I want you to know that I know what you're going through. If you ever need to speak to someone who understands, I'm here. Also, I know that I sometimes felt bad for upsetting my friends by showing how distraught I was, so I'd pretend I was ok. One day I ended up breaking down and spilling all to a colleague I hardly knew! She was really kind, and somehow it was easier than talking to someone close to me. I cried when I read what you wrote about the Polos! I could completely to relate to that feeling! By the way, I'm a Chelsea fan too! Oh, and my dad came from Ealing!

I'm so sorry to read that you lost your Dad. My sincerest condolences to you Grace. I understand very well how you feel. When my Father died, I felt as though someone had unplugged me from my charger. I too expected him to walk in that door any minute. I hope that you gain some peace in knowing that he is no longer in pain and that your memories of him in better days will help to alleviate your own pain. Always here for you...HRH

I live in both. The suburb I live in used to be Seven Hills but it is surrounded by Norman Park and then Norman Park absorbed Seven Hills and Seven Hills was no longer. But then they reinstated Seven Hills so now I live in either/or. I say Norman Park but yeah....I don't know how long that note was in my notes page for but yeah lol.

Hey again, lol. I saw in your notes something about poetry things being scams and anything pretty much where you have to buy your own book. I sent in a poem to a website and just got a letter back from them recently. They want to put my poem in a book and Im entered into a contest. I have to buy my own book. Mom was saying it was a bit of a scam cuz you have to buy your own book and theyre getting free poems to put in there, as publishers they should pay YOU. After reading that in your notes, Im wondering now, if I should go through with buying the book. What do you think? Thats a coincidence I saw that in your notes!

Pretty much anything where you have to pay for the book is.. our lit class did an experement, we had to take a pretty much famous poem and enter it as our own... and they accepted them all! There's no need for anyone to go analysing stuff like this. I knoooow it's brokie!! I can't seem to fix it I've tried everything! It's not any of my templates cause I change them so frequently, it's just a glitch in the diaryland system or something. A lot of my old viewers still read my diary and even though I'm not on camera anymore they still like to keep up on how I'm doing and whats going on in my life. hey, I can understand what youre going through. Ive been on antidepressants for three years. I felt similiar to what you do know, and I sometime still do feel the same. Its as if you're already dead, but your body hasnt gone. Like you're in a box, and your suffocating. I also know that some people around me turned their backs, said I was making a big deal out of a little bad mood. Anyway if you ever want to talk to someone, you can leave me your email adress or something.

You know you need help. Have you not gone to see a doctor yet? Most people don't understand depression and it makes it difficult for them to be around you. If your not taking anti depressants already then you should be and if you are they needs to change your meds because they aren't working. You do not have to live this way. You have a physical illness and it can be treated.
