I liked it int he pits too, but the thing was, that I fell on Jenn that one time, and that was enough for me for right then, that was scary for me. I died a little bit today and there wasn't a single thing I could do about it. I remember waking up this morning thinking that things were going to be different than they had always been. As if by some strike of fate I would be freed from the curse of my life up to this point.
Get up, sit up, wake up, eat up, throw up, fuck up.
My world spins in circles as I reach for the edge of the table, cell phone falling from hand, keys jingling an untold melody as they crash unsymphonicly to the ground. Black consumes me like an unforgiving demon as my head jars against the counter top and my body looses the marionette strings that hold me taut and ridged throughout my day.
Blackness. Deep unrelenting dark. The kind that presses against your chest and suffocates you. The power of the night that you feared as a child, it suffocates me. I open my mouth to find that it has already seeped into my lungs, asphyxiating any hopes of screams or cries. No struggle despite my frantic movements. It's closing in if that is possible. Panic.
Fear.
Sweat.
Mom?
Someone?
HELP HELP HELP!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........*
Sit up.
I cover my eyes. The light that is pouring through my kitchen window sears my corneas and rips through my already tender head. Advil, Tylenol, Aspirin, ANYTHING, JUST MAKE THIS STOP. I fumble, knocking my counter contents to the floor. I can’t FIND SHIT IN THIS PLACE. I throw the closest thing I can grab at my wall in a fashion highly untypical of my passive persona.
I am possessed by something I cannot control. I have woken up into something that I am not, nor that I can free myself from.
