hi. i realize this is very late, and i'm very sorry about that.. but i still wanted to reply to your note. i'm doing fine. the surgery went well (i had to take my tonsils out because they were effecting my health in a negative way cause of what i've been through in the past - i used to have cancer and now i'm under medication). anyway.. you haven't updated your diary in a while so i'm wondering how you are? it may sound weird but i'm actually kind of worried since you haven't. i hope all is well. and happy new year. <3

That should really help smooth things out for you there. It's nice to have someone you know well to work with. It can be a pain in the rear, too, sometimes, but if you are really great friends it ought to be more good than bad. :) There's a lot of yourself that goes into these classrooms, you really make it a part of you, if you care about the kids even a little. So having someone come in and rearrange stuff like they did to your friend, well, that is just like ripping a part of you out and jiggling it around and throwing it on the floor. Nasty. Mean. I could go on. I wouldn't want someone like that watching my kids, those stupid people! *growl* Anyways, it's a rough thing to get started in, but once all the kinks are out (after a week or two or more sometimes) you will love this job! :) I can feel it! :) I'm thinkin' of ya!

That Summit School sounds terrific! Wish I had one like it here, I'd have loved to work there instead of all the trashy places I was at. It's rough about you and your s.o.'s conflicting schedules. I know how that can be, I know it's no fun. But I also know that it might be a blessing for you if you can stick it out! :) My husband and I (for all that I complain about him, I DO love him) have been through stuff like it. Conflicting schedules are no fun, long distance relationships are no fun, etc. Why, we were apart from the time my son was 2 months old until he was 8 or 9 months old! And that's a LONG time in the life of a baby! But it was necessary, so we did it. I figure if we can make it anyone can. I'm the biggest wuss when it comes to being on my own. . . :) Well, sorry for the novel in your notes! I can't seem to manage not to do that to people! Sorry!

i wonder what preschool/school you are applying for! it sounds like a good one. none, and i mean NONE, of the schools i have ever worked for have given such a detailed interview (asking questions about what to do with kids is pretty impressive). most daycare/preschool/schools don't ask about those things, at least not any i've worked at - and that's a LOT of them. :)
