when i was fifteen, somebody dropped a heavy bag off of a high balcony and it landed on my guitar and smashed it. it was my first guitar. i kept it all those years for no real reason. sentimentality, i guess. it was just taking up space. i properly ruined it just because my parents were making me throw it out anyway. i'm not sure if that makes it better or not.

I'm glad you are a part of both the like and hate diaries. I'm also sorry you're having difficulties, however I think I can help. The issue you speak of is a dland issue. If you do two entries in one day on any one diary, sometimes it assigns the same page name--it's based on date. So you might have two 080725_68.html entries, being that 07-25-08 is the date. When you get an error that says that entry exists, that is the problem. All you have to do is hit your back button and then at the bottom where it says "name of this html page" just give it a brief one word or short phrase name (no spaces). That should allow you to post. I hope this makes some sense.

the fact that she has a boyfriend is good. it will stir an anger that will help you get over her. it might not feel good, in fact it feels pretty awful, but the anger and resentment is a part of the healing process- and therefore better than attempting to pine for her love.

take everything that makes you think of her- pictures, letters, presents, reminders...and put it in a trash bag. get a friend of yours to take those bags and keep them away from you. you can look at that crap a year from now (or whenever it suits you to cast those memories off). if you have any artistic inclinations, use them to the best of your advantage. and last but not least, if you can do it, take up yoga. it sounds silly, but it helps (with the anger, confusion, lack of focus).
