Lobotomy Land

I was a returning college student--after 12 years as a professional technical writer and editor, I went back to school to become a midwife. And then after 2 years of taking prerequisite science classes, I changed my mind and decided to get my master's degree in English. Then I took some photography classes that I had wanted to take for YEARS and realized that I absolutely *love* photography and also *love* not being in school full time. So I'm a photographer now. And mostly stay-at-home mom who really doesn't do a lot of staying home. Never let it be said I don't know how to make up my mind. I guess that little ADD girl grew up to be an ADD woman. Go figure.

School used to consume me but now photography consumes me. And writing. But I have a darling daughter and a very cute husband who do a good job of distracting me. And our favorite distraction is travel. We like to travel a lot. And if I haven't bored you to ears yet, read on...
