I'm an over-achiever. I have two daughters: Kat, who is now a junior in college (thank you AP credits) and Day who is a junior in high school. I also have a wonderful husband, FogieKnight, who collects stamps (and just about anything else he can think of except wives). I work as an appellate public defender. (Yes, I'm a lawyer and I defend those convicted of crimes.) I used to serve on my local school board (but did not run again this last time) and I coach a mock trial team at the local high school.
My favorite diaries: |
marywa profile - diary |
comments: Her life is worth a lot. I've met the people she hangs out with daily. They're well worth knowing. |
alicewonders profile - diary |
comments: Funny and touching and well worth a read. |
marn profile - diary |
comments: Gotta love those Canadians. Like Wisconsinites, eh. |
outfoxed profile - diary |
comments: It's always good to get the male point-of-view once in a while and he writes so very well. |
bastion profile - diary |
comments: How can I resist a guy who calls himself The Wondering Jew? |
sunnflower profile - diary |
comments: I know she has the burning questions part of life down. I just wish she had the answers. |
My favorite music: |
My favorite movies: |
To Kill a Mockingbird |
comments: The book is better but it doesn't have Gregory Peck. (What can I say? I want to BE Atticus.) |
My favorite authors: |
Madeleine L'Engle |
comments: I may not always agree but she always makes me think. Her journals are wonderful, especially "Summer of the Great-Grandmother." |
Jon Katz |
comments: As mysteries, his books are mediocre. As commentaries on suburban life, they're great fun. |
