happy turkey day
from boogityx2 :
I sent you an email from my real name to direct you towards my new blog and give you the password for this one - if you didn't get the email, let me know. Also, I added you on MySpace and you can find my new blog that way too. Thanks for the note! It was nice to be thought of.
from bindyree :
You back on! No, no reason cept not updating. But you're doing that again. :-)
from bindyree :
Vincent went last week, and Kayne went this week. I am sorry to see them both go. :-(
from hissandtell :
Well, I miss *you* terribly, too, darling one! But are you ever going to write here again? Schmoochies, R xxx
from monkey-king :

from goingloopy :
...and my cat Maggie says thank you for the box. I opened it five minutes ago and her fat ass is already laying in it (or hanging over the sides. whatever.) :)
from goingloopy :
SQUEEEEE! I got your package today...thank you for all of the fun office supplies. I especially love that the Sharpie pack came with a FREE PURPLE COOL ASS PEN!! I will likely post the entry in re: contents of the CD on Monday...I don't think I'll get it done before you leave work this afternoon. I will e-mail/note you when it's posted. THANK YOU--YOU RULE.
from f-i-n :
happy new year...hoping for good things!
from candoor :
Merry Happy New Year and hopes that 2006 brings you the best life you've known so far :)
from bindyree :
Just a quick note to say Happy New Year and say that I'm so glad you're on my Buddy List! ♥
from his-holiness :
Vacation? Could it be? Have fun. I lurk in this neck of the woods frequently. Let me know.
from his-holiness :
Hey lady, sorry about last week? You in PA at all this week? I should be around for most of it.
from smedindy :
Liz used to here about it from her oldest sister about waiting until she was past 30 - but the middle sister is still unmarried at 45 and no one judges her. Sigh...
from f-i-n :
I was going to be called Noel... Glad you take the time to remember his birthday and make it special!
from gumphood :
hey thanks for adding me to one of your favorite entries. Thats wicked nice.
from his-holiness :
I'm not certain I can on Wednesday. I have to be over in the San Jose neck o' the woods, but i'll let you know for certain as soon as I'm able.
from hissandtell :
I'm so glad you're back, darling, and that things are going well. I've missed you. Love, R xxx
from goingloopy :
How could I not add someone who is a fellow dorker-outer of the office supply variety? Thanks for adding me back. :)
from monkey-king :
My pleasure, I'll think of a comment eventually.
from his-holiness :
The reception was a success, though I was working the whole time. Thank you. What would you like me to write about? I'd be honored.
from smedindy :
Don't worry, you still may be (bee) a winner. If you ever update again :-P
from smedindy :
http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintl01.htm Try Lucy of Syracuse. She's the Patron Saint of Salesmen. Tough broad, she was.
from beelucky :
thank-you for the kind note; it made me smile. :)
from gumphood :
Yeah, the chin action comment was pretty sweet if I do say so myself!
from studio-66 :
thanks for your compliment :)
from his-holiness :
It's actually on my page, at the top of the "Fiends Club" list. I hope your birthday was a bit of lovely. And thank you.
from awittykitty :
"Birdcage" is one of my all time favorite comedies. I've seen it like 8-10 times and still laugh everytime Nathan Lane screams or is trying to learn to walk like John Wayne. Its so freakin' funny.
from candoor :
Happy Birthday... enjoy the game (I spent almost 30 years in NYC, which explains my insanity :)
from randh :
no problem! You seem like a very nice lady, feel free to persue my diary whenever you feel like it.
from randh :
ha, we are practically neighbors. Your diary kicks alot of ass. You don't mind if I add you do you?
from studio-66 :
love Jon Heder..love your diary..i will add you :)
from theswordsman :
Thanks for stopping by. It really is a great quote for writers. Cheers. John
from boogityx2 :
I figure a gravy boat is the awesomest wedding present, because nobody needs a gravy boat, but there is always one. And it holds gravy, which is a plus.
from nogooddaddy :
yes...the address on my page. You might be a bit stupit if you don't mind me saying so. Do I offend?
from nogooddaddy :
I owe you questions from like a bazillion years ago. Email me so I can come up with some dumb things to ask you. I really am a retard
from monkey-king :
You could say, "I'm addicted to punctuation." I use commas almost as if they're vocal pauses, because most of the time, they are. Need to light a cigarette? Comma. Take a drink? Comma. Stop typing to fight off the barbarian hordes? Comma.
from boogityx2 :
Corn on the cow comes from http://boogityx2.diaryland.com/050529_71.html and it's probably not nearly as interesting as you might be hoping for. Sorry. Thanks for weighing in on the drawer issue.
from monkey-king :
Hi! Thanks for the add, it makes up for one that I lost apparently due to lesbian issues, or something. Here's a few commas that I had lying around, you're welcome to help yourself. ,,,,,,,,,,
from hissandtell :
Oh, I'm so very sorry to hear about your dad, darling. Kitty's right - it sounds like they picked it up in time, and things should be just fine. I understand your "three" thoughts completely, but please just try to be strong and positive and brave for your dad and your mum and your self. And yeah, I was a Daddy's Girl too, and it hurt me like nothing else before or since when he was in pain. Be kind to yourself, sweetie. Love, R xxx
from awittykitty :
Sorry to hear about your Dad. But remember, medical technology is awesome these days and I'm sure, since they caught things in time, he'll be fine. My mom has been through all that stuff a ga-zillion times and is still around to torture me. p.s. I was a Daddy's Girl too. We rule. :-)
from xquzme :
Phew. So glad everything worked out. That's some scary stuff. You're absolutely right -- we should all take time to be grateful for what we have. Thanks for the reminder.
from gumphood :
I'm certianly sure that you can be wittyer than me if you tried. Its just a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
from xquzme :
If you aren't as cute as a button (and sexy -- great dress!)! I love wedding pictures. Many happy returns, sweetie!
from gumphood :
hi there.
from onewetleg :
o my doodness! you linked to me! the %%older% problem is a common one. submit a tech support request and they can fix it. i used to know how but i forgot. ty for the linkage. love, jj
from his-holiness :
I don't think it terribly uncommon. I hand roll my smokes, so the girlfriend will often get a bit shirty if I'm rolling one in the car as we're headed home from a party. I can see her point. And it will be a good time regardless of which show I hit up, but it would be most cool to meet up with you at one around here.
from his-holiness :
He's doing New Orleans on my birthday... That could be a fun trip. I hate going to SF, but that's the closest. Maybe I'll use this as an excuse to visit my Portland crew.
from his-holiness :
One of the friends I was at the show with has a licensce plate frame on her car which reads, "If You're Henry Rollins, I'm Single."
from his-holiness :
I just signed up for the mailing list myself, thanks to you... So thank you. And maybe I should write that letter. The sad part of that being; My friends met him after the show, while I was somewhere else, trying to see if he showed up for them... Then when I got back to the spot at which he actually appeared, he was tucked away in his bus, and my friends couldn't think of a single thing to say to him, and kept repeating, "Dammit, I wish Klugarsh were here... he'd think of something." Damn it all.
from his-holiness :
Thank you for the heads up. When he was in San Jose last year he said, (I'll come as close as I can to quoting, but I was paased-out from excessive consumption of things you shouldn't consume in excess on Free Photographic Memories day)"I haven't been to San Jose in a long time. It 's nothing against you guys, it's just that this place creeps me out. Every time I come here I get this weird 'River's Edge' vibe." I, sadly, didn't get the opportunity to tell him that this is probably due to the fact that River's Edge is based on events that occured in Milpitas.
from onewetleg :
ahgh! stupid dreams. i hate them. any dream with alex trebek is a nightmare. ugh.
from clarity25 :
Beautiful pictures of Scottland. I've always wanted to go there, My father is Scottish and my grandfather came over from their to America in the 1950's. I would love to trace back my roots. Plus I've heard it's so great there. Looks like a wonderful honeymoon! Thank you so much for the information on the RITMO pencils! That was really helpful, I have an order number, that's a huge step! I'm still in the process of doing research..I'm following all leads. it's a rocky journey, but I think I'm making some progress:). Thank you again and Have a great weekend.
from onewetleg :
nice pictures. I've always wanted to go to scotland. love, jj
from hissandtell :
Ha! Thank you for the profile revision - I'll be laughing all day! x
from hissandtell :
Hi - thanks so much for reading, and adding me to your Christmas card list. I've just read all your entries so far, and am really enjoying your writing and photographs. (Did Prince Andrew ask after me when you saw him? No? Bastard.) I too love commas! And dashes! And parentheses! (And, it would seem, exclamation marks!) Thanks again - I shall be back soon to catch up on more of your musings and adventures. Love, R xxx
from onewetleg :
btw, duh, thanks for joining my can't get read diaryring. right after i made that people started reading me. ironical, isn't it?
from onewetleg :
i'm not going anywhere. diaryland has been very, very good to me. i've been here ever since i got online finally in 2002. haven't barely gone a day without diaryland in almost three years now. i just think i might let my gold membership lapse. while i would like to keep supportig the site, i could use the money for beer. i'm glad you enjoy my stuff. 'smakes me feel 'swonderful. love, jj
from xquzme :
Lookitchu! Being all HTML savvy and stuff. I'm impressed! My first posted picture was the size of Kansas, so you did VERY well. And your husband is very cute. So are the kittens. What is UP with that licking thing? Mine does that too.
from onewetleg :
bummer on the burn, congrats on the pics and hubba hubba on your hotty hubby! and i mean that in the MOST non-threatening way! (((hugs)))
from his-holiness :
But of course.
from his-holiness :
See, perfect... it will distort them, when you force them like that, but sometimes you just have to show them who's boss.
from his-holiness :
How are you adjusting them? In the Resize option, on Photoshop, you can force the bastards into shape. Or open a new image box in PS, at 100x100, and make a frame... Or brandish menacing objects at the monitor, until it behaves.
from his-holiness :
Thank you (it's an old one, uploaded before D-land crashed a couple of months ago... I need to get some more recent ones in, ready to go). And yes, let's just remove all doubt. Thirty years ago "Peach" was called, "flesh," so let's not fuck around! These are all Flesh, so call them what they are!
from his-holiness :
Are each of these Multicultural crayons labelled "Flesh?"
from his-holiness :
Trek-wise, It could have been worse. Got a lift up, in a snazzy, new Mercedes.
from his-holiness :
Hell, at least you have your own BART stop, and arena. We don't have BART 'round these here parts. And, thank you. It went well.
from clarity25 :
Hi! thanks for adding me to your fav. list! Welcome to diaryland, I read through your archive and look forward to reading more. You asked about design help, the two best design sites in my humble opinion are Pistachio designs and Inscrutably.diaryland.com. You just have to copy and paste the HTML..and there you go. It's a great way to start off. Until you figure out how to fix it up personally. It took me a long time to reach that point in my own journal. But my basic layout format is from Pistachio designs. have a good weekend!
from luvabeans :
thanks for the add. at this point, i'm counting on bay area people rocking, since i'm not yet one, myself. however, all the bay area people i already know do, indeed, rock.
from his-holiness :
So it shall be. What part of the Bay Area are you in?
from xquzme :
I'll let Onewetleg handle this one since I am html-challenged... but try this site for designs: http://www.francey.org/ (I selected one that doesn't require an impage becuase I don't understand how that works -- perhaps Leg can shed some light...)
from onewetleg :
all right, all right, calm down. we can help you. thank you for your post in my guestbook. its nice to get noticed. i'm going to go read you and look at your properties and see whats what. howdy new friend
from his-holiness :
Oh, & did you catch Rollins when he was in San Jose last year? So good.
from his-holiness :
If we weren't all a bunch of insecure mutants we wouldn't be here. I've found that, in many ways, this "Blog" tomfoolery has helped me deal with a lot of my shyness. & I love commas as well... Punctuation For Everyone!!! & ampersands. Lots & lots of ampersands!
from clipchick :
Thanks you two! I was really happy to see your comments...I feel like part of the family now! (sniff!) :D
from xquzme :
Welcome, Miss Clipchick! Thanks for adding me to your favorites. Don't be shy -- we're a very easy going group here, and besides -- you're in good company. We are ALL deeply insecure and have lots to whine about. Now, git rantin', ya hear?!!
from awittykitty :
I'm shy and insecure in real life, that's why I have a diary on diaryland. HA!! YAY! Thanks for adding me to your favorites. Welcome. :-)
