Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! That's all.
from zencelt :
Greenwitch, you are ever the source of calm and sense. Thank you for your advice. The doctor thinks its been going on for a couple years at least. But more tests are to come. Immediately, I'm looking for clothes that are easier to put on, and per your advice, will be looking into home care services. Thank you!
from zencelt :
I hate boys... I've had a terrible attitude ever since the blow-off. I need to go out and flirt a bit to get my spunk back.
from zencelt :
You know, I think you're right. Overall, this has been a good experience. If this is what it took to feel this good, it was worth it. Hugs!!
from zencelt :
Hey there! I meet with a nutritionist at the end of the month. He's supposed to be brilliant at hooking people up with the perfect plans for their body/chemistry... I'm anxious to share all of my reading with him. I have lots of questions. Thanks for the note!
from zencelt :
Mucus sucks monkey butt. Happy New Year Witchy!
from zencelt :
Hey there stranger! I'm so glad you agree with me. I was expecting a completely different experience. Lots of dark witches there... Take care!
from zencelt :
Thank you for the note. I know its the truth, but the reality in between is just SO surreal! Yikes! Big hugs to you!
from broken214 :
Why did you move on for? Do you have myspace?
from zencelt :
LOL! Love the comment!
from annanotbob :
Well, I've tried twice, but no reply so far - is that the right address?
from hilthethrill :
Deb is coming to lunch on saturday all the way from Maryland! Is she crazy?? I would like to cordially invite you and A. to come over, too. Email me at [email protected] if you would like! xoxo
from annanotbob :
Hiya - I've just bumped into you twice - once at Hil's and once at Diane's, so I'm adding you. I'm in the middle of moving house so won't catch up with you yet, but I am going to scour your archives to learn about cheesemaking. I've been planning to have a go at this for ages but have only just managed to source rennet. Goat's cheese is my all-time favourite - I so envy you your goats. All the best, Anna x
from devil-lover :
I would like to keep u in my favorite list, with ur permission.
from hilthethrill :
Thanks for the nice note, but if I'm only as old as I feel I fear I am in SERIOUS trouble! : ) When are we hanging out? And, the offer still stands to hide in my bunker if necessary!
from zencelt :
I flipping channels yesterday and came upon Bon Jovi singing that song as well! I was transfixed. Oh, and I loved the rendition of Its My Life with the All American Rejects kids too. I was never a Bon Jovi fan when I was younger, but he's maturing beautifully.
from zencelt :
What crappy news about your dad! I'm sorry to hear it. The stress of waiting around for the next round must be enormous. I'll send some stress relieving vibes your way.
from hilthethrill :
You are so cool! I'm adding you to favorites! P.S.I want those sandals.
from my5cents :
Diaryland is up to its old problems AGAIN! I'm sorry about the latest diagnosis for Dad. Can you find a teen who could come in to check on him or stay with him when you are working at the market? Maybe the dr might have some suggestions? Is there a senior center near you where he can spend time?
from zencelt :
Ah yes, I feel the same way. I've lost that loving feelin' for this place.
from zencelt :
That must be one relieved goat! Three kids at once! Give her a hearty pat for me.
from zencelt :
Ooooo. Thank you for the suggestions!
from boxx9000 :

HAPPY FRIDAY the 13th. For some reason, the 13th is always a lucky day for me. Wheeee!
from tou-mou :
I am indeed gone from d-land... I've moved to dulcimergoddess(dot)livejournal(dot)com. the little happy icons of the stars just lured me away....

Oh, its decadent. And surprisingly, no hangover : )
from zencelt :
Good luck!!!!

from zencelt :
Give me some of that "this chick don't use credit" magic! I'm such the screw up...
from my5cents :
I tried to leave a comment 3x so far. Maybe what I was trying to say was too much. LOL. I was concerned if the check was written out in your name and Rainman forged your signature? If so, I would tell him he has until his next paycheck to give you the money from the check. And I would also get the separation started now. You don't have to file the papers yet but I think A. knows more than you think. She will be upset regardless if she is kicked out of the school or if Rainman is kicked out of the house. Take care of yourself, let LA get involved, I think she can help you a lot. I worry about you. Sorry if I overstepped my boundaries.
from tou-mou :
thank you for your input. :) in my own practice, it doesn't matter so much, but i get a bit tired of the whole "woman is reflected light" business that's the background for a lot of the Victorian-type interpretations.
from summer-gale :
Wow! So much has happened. You met LA! How wonderful! I'm jealous! And your poor thumb. I hope that gets well and that A's dizziness gets better too. And the car? is it driveable? The tuition .. anything new? The cheeseroom Hurrah! Congratulations! Some day I swear I'm going to drive your way and meet you, A and the goats and learn how to make cheese!
from tou-mou :
thank you for the note about my music. i'm flattered. :)
from zencelt :
At the risk of invoking 90's hip hopera, You Da Bomb! Thanks so much for the dose of optimism.
from tou-mou :
would you like to borrow my blowgun? the drummaker gave me a blowgun specifically for my neighbors' blow-up THINGS.
from tou-mou :
hmmm... winter goddesses... I'd say Skadi, or Artemis in one of her pissed-off moods. Cailleach or any of the Crones would work just as well. But personally, I'd prefer hangin' near the hearth with Brigid. :)

from summer-gale :
I hope to see some sun tomorrow too and I appreciate your efforts in selling at fairs and markets. It's people like you that keep me coming back and buying and going home happy with my finds. Huzzah for marketeers! (your comments thought I was a spammer so I posted here)

Happy Mother's Day!
from realsnoopy :
It's been raining for days with no relief in sight. :(
from realsnoopy :
I have a huge favor to ask. If you don't want to, it's ok. I was wondering if you would do a guest entry in my wiccan diary. I would like to hear you "sum up" your thoughts and beliefs. I know it's a tall order. Were you raised Wiccan, how did you start, what do you believe and feel. What things are being said in "modern" wicca that you do and don't agree with. Overall, your feelings and practices.
from meanatheart :
Hey! Just finished catching up on your entries (I know, but in my defence I am... well I'm not busy I just haven't been reading that much... so no excuse for my behaviour (typical 14 year old right? haha)) So uhm... OH right back to the point. I love lilacs too! They're so pretty, but I prefer the white ones to anything else. But the two purples mixed together were really pretty! I'm in computers and the kid next to me thought I was insane for smiling over flowers haha. Okay, lurve you, I promise to be a better reader!! ~Shelby

from realsnoopy :
Those can be hard to find!
from realsnoopy :
Can I come over next week?
from july28 :
awesome news!!!!!
from hissandtell :
Congratulations! Don't burst a foo-foo valve in the moving, darling. It sounds a bit like us trying to get our new one-million-tonne coldroom off the truck and onto the back verandah - six men, one girl, two yapping dogs and a lot of beer and intense boy-talk about the best way to do it. Good luck! Love, R xxx
from cccerberus :
I just read the first half of your private entries- I missed a lot. You need the liberty you will attain when that cheeseroom is finally underway. I talked to a free university therapist the other day and to a coworker/friend, and we went to our new boss about our friend with problemaand....I have a big headache. Sometimes one just can't help some people who won't help themselves.. It's sad but ultimately you are right- breathe. It helps to move on.
from cccerberus :
Hey there- Quickly read your most recent private entry and will reread again tonight...why are my weeks so incredibly and ridiculously fast and furious? I need to sit. I need to meditate. But what I wanted to ask is whether there is a way to read your OLD private entries cuz I missed them. Happy farming! -J

from realsnoopy :
Thank you! Your response made my discussion with her feel like I handled it well. I'm still a little new at this and didn't think I would run into this with her so soon. Has your daughter had any situations like this?
from realsnoopy :
When you have a second, please read my GRRRR entry and tell me if I handled this correctly or if you feel I should add something to my conversation with my daughter. Thanx sweetie!
from hissandtell :
Well, congratulations! Fromage away, darling! Love, R xxx

You better take care of yourself! :) Get some sleep!
from fairylove2 :
Hi- I have a question. I am trying to study the gods and goddesses. I can't believe how many their are. I mean really! Can you recomend a way to down size or organize or something. I couldn't imagine going through them all and then remembering all the info on each one. I know this sounds stupid but I don't know how else to say it. :)
from meanatheart :
lucky you! it may be spring there but it was snowing here! ~Shelby
from hissandtell :
Oh, somehow I missed your delightful Kid Pics! (Must have been the bloody slow hit-and-miss dial-up we were on the last several days.) They are completely adorable - how many did you end up with altogether? And yes, photographs of the vegetable garden, please. Mine looks like a Kansas twister went through it, which I suppose it kind of did, in a way... Love, R xxx
from adam-selene :
yum! I want to come over and eat everything in your yard!
from zencelt :
Oh my gosh, she is the cutest thing ever!
from realsnoopy :
It seems the only reader we share is Lisa. She knows the whole story. The person he had the affair with is x-plicity. That is her diary name here. I tried to forgive her for quite some time. I almost did until I caught her in just one two many lies. I don't need that. I think she has some serious problems. I try to refrain from writing about it as much as possible out of respecting her diary. Since you and I only read Lisa, it shouldn't start a bunch of bullshit by me telling you who she is. Many of my readers know and read her too. She worked with my husband, and her band played at my daughters 18th Birthday party we had for her. It's my diary and I'll write what I want too! LOL Sorry, dumb joke! Her old diary is now locked. That is the diary she has most of it written in. Now it's locked because I read it already. No point in leaving it open now huh? Although there are some things in this current diary if you start at the begining. So if your ever bored, ya right, you can read it and understand a little more. Or maybe you could just give a shit too! Thats ok as well! Have a good one! Cute pics!
from realsnoopy :
You are right. People can be very annoying. You wonder sometimes if they have a brain -one that works anyway!
from fairylove2 :
May I have the password?
from adam-selene :
take care! thanks for taking the time to say hi!
from realsnoopy :
oh how I remember! have you had a break down of just crying until you just pass out of exhaustion? Take Care :)
from meanatheart :
Aw. you've actually made me realize that goats are cute. Sweet. I'm going to say possibly the most overused cliche to you: "We may grow up but we never grow old!" ~Shelby

from realsnoopy :
When I read your diary, I feel what you are going through and it makes me feel panicky. I went through all of this with my grandfather. He has three children but it was ALL left for me to handle. He also wanted it that way. I was raising all four of my children and working part time. I quit my job to care for him every day. He was still drinking vodka with a drop of juice added to it. He was stubborn and made everything a challenge. It came to the point that I dreaded going there. Not because I didnt love him, he was my "father" and I would have done anything for him, and I did. It wore me down so hard after two years of this I started getting terrible depression. He past away and I was put on zoloft. I love very hard. "as you can see from everything I write" and at times I have let it destroy me. I am learning to control that. I see your at the point of "snap!" I'm not going to tell you what to do and how to feel. You are a very smart woman. You can handle it. Just TRY and take care of YOU, the hardest thing of all! *hugs*
from fairylove2 :
lol! Me either! That and "shut up!"
from zencelt :
Hmmm. That's a hard call. Any way you could use tough love, let him go to the nursing home and demand that he improve his mobility within a week or two so that he can come home with you? That way he has a goal and maybe some motivation. And maybe you'll have the peace of mind that you won't have to carry him around, or find him injured after one of your necessary errands away from home. Good luck and many good wishes to you.
from fairylove2 :
That is exactly the kind of feed back I was hoping for! Thank you so much! I hope your father is doing well soon. Don't forget to take care of yourself.
from fairylove2 :
thanx! I'm looking for a couple of new reads. Does anyone come to mind?

from realsnoopy :
I thought you would be one of my readers to get a kick out of that story!
from realsnoopy :
i'm sorry for what your going through. I know first hand it's emotionally draining. I took care of my grandfather for three years until he past away. *hugs*

from zencelt :
Sea snot + sex. Hmmm. Not doing it for me either.
from realsnoopy :

from july28 :
I love your goats!
from hissandtell :
Yippee! You're sounding so wonderfully optimistic I'm sitting here smiling too. Glad you got some warmth into those icy bones - and isn't that ALWAYS the way with those pesky, ah, pelvic regions? Threaten them with public exposure (as it were) and a good dressing down (as it were) and they meekly step into line and do the right thing. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
You poor darling. I've just sent you a little something - I do help it cheers you up slightly. Thinking of you, possum. Love, R xxx
from july28 :
My mother broke her leg (compound fracture!) a few years back and was hospitalised for six months; I think it's more a case of them losing their superfit status and becoming more dependent is a real downer for them internally, but your Dad is coming home and that's all that matters just now. Loads of love. xxxx

I haven't tried your guestbook--no reason why--but I got a note like the one below me here saying that someone couldn't access mine, either. It's probably another Andrew thing, no? I'd love for anyone who read *that* many entries to say something, too. If it's mean, you could always delete it but I'm sure, like me, you'd want to know what it's about. Hell, I just had 3 hits from the same address in China. I thought, "Well, good enough for 3 but decided I'm far too mental? : )
from my5cents :
I couldn't get on the guestbook...I didn't want to cause you stress...on the 5 weird things...I just thought it might give you something else to think about. OK?
from meanatheart :
Hi. It's me. Sometimes life throws curve balls. The kind that hit you in the stomach and knock all the wind out of you. All you gotta do is stand up and walk to first base. Haha look! words of nonsensical wisdom from a 14 year old girl! Hope this helped...
from my5cents :
I couldn't get on the guestbook either. My hope for you and your Dad and A. is that tomorrow is as peaceful as possible even though I know it will be hard. I hope you can all rest up this weekend.
from newyorker18 :
I tried to put this in your guestbook, but it wouldn't let me. Greenwitch, Though it is dreadful to lose a parent (I lost my dad very young) you can both be at peace now. I know how much it was tearing you up to see her like that, and it must have been tearing her up knowing she had to keep on that way. My offer to be here for you for whatever you need still stands, anytime you need me. Peace and Happier Days,

In your secret heart of hearts don't you kind of wish for the fairy tale ending?
from treedreams :
I really feel for what you're going through with this situation. You are definitely doing right by doing what you need to do to protect you and A. There's no guarantee that the Rainman is actually ready to make the needed changes. And if he's not ready, it won't happen. Insufficient sleep - I know a lot about that! It really affects your life. Sending you peaceful thoughts for a good night's sleep. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great birthday.

Thank you for your sweet note about Allister the Ferret xoxox. with love, ophelia

J, do you know anything about ANGOLA goats? Somebody is selling pedigree ones near me, I'm looking for a breed that has good milk yield also good fleece/fibre, but am trying to get some facts before I go any further. Hope you had a good market day ..xx

Glad to hear that your dad is doing better, and that you and A are also doing better now.

Love to your Dad! xxxx

getting your smile back must feel good!

That must have been one of the hardest entries you've ever had to post. It's good that he's gone to rehab under his own steam; no amount of cajoling from anyone else could have made him go. Big, big hugs to you and A from me...you know all us diarylanders love you both and know you can get through this !!!!!
from treedreams :
Such startling developments! You and A will make it through this; I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts & sending you some healing energy. Hoping Rainman gains understanding and comes back with some positive changes.
from ilmomof3 :
Oh my gods! I am glad for you, worried for you, all of it. I know you have the strength to get through, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes... praying for you!
from hissandtell :
Darling one, I read this entry with tears in my eyes. You mightn't realise it, but the strength behind your words - despite your exhaustion and anger and fears - is enormous. Yes, the goddess will protect and provide and all those other things, and you'll come out of this all bright and shiny and new. I'm sending you and A all my fondest thoughts. Love, R xxx

Wow, it sounds like you were lucky not to sustain more damage from that exciting storm! Too bad it didn't cool things down a bit though.

What a beautiful, healthy garden you have!
from july28 :
gorgeous, gorgeous pix - I am so jealous....my garden harvest is rubbish so far!
from hissandtell :
Absolutely inspirational photographs, darling. And, may I say, the orange banana paste tomato thingy (which should win the award for Silliest Name) with mozzarella and pesto on crusty bread sounds so divine I will be fantasising about it all day. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
Darling, should the Nimbin ever make the grade, I shall be delighted to send you a free one. I'll even personalise it with some cornucopiac psychedelic goat-horns on the roof and a yoghurt-maker on the dashboard. (The funny thing is that when I was rambling to my husband about this amazing car I want to design, he said, "But you realise it'll probably sell to all the old Birkenstock-wearing children of Aquarius BoBos out there, don't you?" And I said, "Well, *I'd* buy it!") Anyway, the wine: i'm not familiar with it, and I rather suspect it's an export blend. I finally found the "Big Red" (cab sav + shiraz) listed as "deep red in color with purple hues. Moderate in acidity, it is medium-full in body with soft, ripe tannins. The nose features blackberries, cherries, cassis, and white pepper, while the palate adds plums and vanilla oak. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 5-6 years, this red blend lingers pleasantly on the finish." So, based on that, I rather suspect I'd give it a go! At least three times! (And yes, I completely understand your impulsivity in all manner of choices - beverage or otherwise - sugarbear.) Much love, R xxx

Oh, darling; poor you. Glad the dreaded pink pain and suffering was worth it in sales, at least. Personally, I find the ghoul look quite fetching, but I expect you don't want to scare the kids. Or the kids. Oh, never mind. Hope you feel better soon. Love, R xxx

Thank you for your time & info. Yes, it's all over the farm on the northern side. This is the Ozarks, so some nooks and crannies probably allow for other types of vegetation. We have glades all over MO too and I know there are some species that are found only in Africa!!! There's a lot of "bad" but a lot of "good" to living here as well. Those few plants shown are wild on the farm (in the woods, particularly).

from might-could :
Thanks for a comment about the writing exercise. It's a fake version of nanowrimo.com (you could spend an hour reading all the info). There is no editing. The point is to have a huge output of words (fiction) w/o doing anything to hold yourself back (such as editing). You just keep track of word counts. I've never written fiction before, mostly poetry. I understand for some people who are "real" writers or those who've done the project before, they might edit or have plans ahead on characters and stuff. I'm just getting pictures in my head and describing them. I don't know what I'm doing and that's okay!! : )

I agree with previous notes, Rainman has gotten a clue...grants = money...Be careful. Good luck with the testimonials, I am sure it won't be hard for you to find plenty of happy customers.

Beautiful tour - thanks!
from absinthesigh :
Thank you for the note 8-). Anyone is supposed to be able to leave notes at journalspace, not sure what's up, I'm such a luddite I have no idea %-). In regards to absinthe... I prepare mine like this: 1 shot of absinthe, one shot of ice cold water and 1 sugar cube. Pour the absinthe first, place sugar cube on slotted absinthe spoon (you can use a fork if you do not have an absinthe spoon however forks tend not to be long enough and can fall into the glass and ruin the ritual) drip the ice water over the sugar cube melting the sugar into the absinthe. This will cause what is called a louche, the color change that is so enchanting. Sip and prepare to dream. The mix I prefer is very strong, some might advise to use more water, usually three to one I believe. My two favorite absinthes are Francois Guy and Versinthe La Blanche. yum! If you purchase absinthe beware, there are quite a few incredibly bad brands and many false brands. There are some excellent webpages: www.absintheonline.com/ and www.feeverte.net amoung others that have excellent guides and resources for purchasing. There is a new book as well called "Absinthe, Sip of Seduction" which is an entertaining light read. My absinthe lecture in brief 8-). with much love, ophelia

I'll be thinking about starting MY own country all day today, now that you've brought it into my mind! LOL! Hope your allergies cool off soon.xxx
from hissandtell :
Your new plantings sound splendid; I'm envious because we're approaching winter here and everything's getting frosted. Re the broccoli seeds, a horticulturally-minded friend in China sent me an email the other day saying, "Did you read that the seeds of broccoli, if you eat them as sprouts, significantly (like over 80%) reduces the size of cancer tumours? Stops the formation of cancer in its earliest stages too. Don't know how many you have to eat, however." So now, of course, I'm going to grow (and gobble) broccoli sprouts all over my kitchen! Love, R xxx

As long as you release the splints every few hours, to let the circulation through, he should be find. The purpose of the splint is to immobilize the leg. Maybe you could be foam or cloth under the splint. It should be soft enough to let the blood through. The splint on the outside would still keep the leg immobilized...
from hissandtell :
Oh, your poor little buckling. I'm sure you've done the right thing; giving him some hope at a little dignity is preferable to dooming him without a chance. Think of Seabiscuit, darling! Love, R xxx

Poor Luna - I hope she gets better. Taking the kids to the nursing home is a wonderful thing to do.
from hissandtell :
Oooohhh, those cute little snub-noses - how utterly adorable. Congratulations on your safe arrivals, darling. I shall start knitting booties immediately: at least they can chew them and eat them up when they get a little older - and I'll be sure to send them in a tin-can, which I understand goats are also rather fond of. (We used to have a herd of 1000 Angoras. As I recall, they ate EVERYTHING and the naughty kids were particularly partial to laundry hanging on the clothesline when they sneaked into the houseyard.) from hissandtell :
Oh, such a shame you're feeling uncommunicative. I've been meaning to drop you a line to let you know that your last three (I think it's three) entries are among the best writing I've read in ages. They were magnificent. I was so moved by the maiden/mother/crone cactus story, which really does deserve to be published. Hope you feel more energetic soon, and get back to your usual attitudinous self. Love, R xxx

Hi there. Thanks for the note. I didn't realize my diary was wonky. I wondered why my profile wouldn't show up! Thats what I get for not paying attention. I used to raise Alpines and LaMancha's, but unfortunately I had to sell them all, even my baby (well the 3 year old I raised from a baby)
from hissandtell :
Just wanted you to know that I am looking forward hugely to you sharing your herbal knowledge. My own herb garden is looking rather sad at the moment - it was under attack from potoroos and bunnies before the rains - so you'll be an added inspiration to me to (lovingly) whip the wheel back into a perfect circle. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
Hmmmm, I hadn't thought of that song in years. But it - and your lima bean soup and newly-rekindled creativity - all sounds rather wonderful. It is most certainly NOT soup weather here at the moment, btw. It's eat a cold orange and hide in the airconditioning weather. Love, R xxx

I love that 'official title' story J! Enjoy the ski-ing trip !
from hissandtell :
How fabulous! It's like all those climbers' bodies on the slopes of Mount Everest. Remember the excitement when they located George Mallory after some eighty years? Oh, the tales a well-preserved specimen such as yours could tell! And I'm sure there'd even be a book and a documentary in this for you. Love, R xxx
from catpewk :
I don't think you have a whelk's chance in a supernova of getting him into counseling, but good luck anyway :>
from ozarklily :
I figured you understood personal v. book. I was raised with so much being based on the personal that I sometimes forget that others might take what I ramble about as being gospel or something *learned* . How I grew up, theres no end to discussions (or spats) about, Well, my granny said the fork droppin means a mans coming. and the other person saying, No. My granny said it means *anyones* a-coming but it depends on from which way the forks pointin. Then someone will idle up and say, Handle or tines? Then the next argument continues : )
from ozarklily :
I read Graves as a child. I'm not doing the "13 moons," however. This is a very introductory, "101" level look at the ogham. I've studied off and on for years (about 8?) and I'm not very into it. I finally decided to rely more on the dreamwork, so if you're using my stuff, I ought to copywrite it because it's from *my* dreams--not sources or coursework. In other words, be inspired surely, but my correspondences are my own and are not "original" or "official" by a longshot. Cheers
from hissandtell :
Doll, I'm finally getting a chance to read your last few entries properly. I LOVE the photographs of you and your hair. You remind me of my friend D, which is always a good reason to like someone! And as I'm getting older (despite being childless) my hair is doing the boinging-thingy more and more, too. Damned hormones. Oh, and the pussy willow and red oak are too beautiful. Here, everything's lush and green and hot and soft and flowering after the rain. It's hard to imagine how frosty and glassy your world must be - but hey, that view on your way to the barn every day would be utterly breathtaking. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
Oh, you are a terrible tease. Please hurry. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
Oh, but of course you can pull it off - with confidence and poise and style and beauty and good grace, and whatever shit-kicking you might need as well! Have a good one, darling. Love, R xxx

I've started composing my entries in a text editor and then copy & paste them into the form here at DL. That way if it gets eaten, I still have the information in the editor. I had that happen a couple of times before I decided I wasn't trusting my posts to DL.

You know, hellishly hard work and aching bones aside, your pastoral life sounds idyllic: as does the idea of home-made dandelion and peach wine. In fact, it's so intoxicating that I can hardly breathe. Love, R xxx
from hissandtell :
Such exquisite photographs! I had to laugh about the "happy bird/quiet bird" comment, especially since my two naughty cockatoo-children are still at large. They used to be relatively quiet and well-behaved in their aviary, but now they fly overhead screeching at me several times a day. They are looking dirty and dusty and scruffy and bedraggled too, the poor dears. I guess they'll either get used to being free and clean up their acts eventually, or come home quietly and let me feed them up. Thanks for sharing the photos! Love, R xxx
from ilmomof3 :
I was wondering about the counselor -- I hope it works out for you. I found that just having an objective person listening to my crap regularly helped.
from ilmomof3 :
He has power-of-attorney and can make medical decisions. The main thing is, he wants to respect her wishes. He's pretty resolute about it. I just ache for him -- it's not fair, dammit!

Have you thought about goat's milk soap? So many varieties on the web - lavender/rose etc - probably not so much regulations to make it....and a whole new learning curve for you! just a thought, love to you both, Fran xx
from july28 :
Ooooh...hope there was nothing to risque in the kilts folder! I am always going to delete it but it's good eye candy entertainment now and again. Aren't the chicks cute though? I think I might have started a new breed with the little black and yellow one! Love to you both, Fran x
from july28 :
Thanks for the note! I've posted a couple of pix of them (plus Mum chicken) into the livestock folder in my webshots gallery - hope you can let A. have a look - they are so cute! Love to you both, Fran x
from ilmomof3 :
Good luck with that. I've had great growth with counselors, but it's so important to find the right one. I had one who tried to tell me the reason I wasn't Christian was because I had "issues" with my dad. Which may be true, but isn't why I'm not Christian. ::rolls eyes:: Anyway, I've also found some really awesome counselors who totally supported my spiritual choices, and that's where I really was able to reap the benefits.
from hissandtell :
Well, clearly I need to get a life, too, since I'm wetting myself with excitement at the mere thought of seeing a photograph of some virile new buck's balls. So think about it some more, okay? Love, R xxx

In my readings, the moon often indicates things going on beneath the surface, emotionally and/or spiritually.
from catpewk :
When things are at the darkest, the moon shines light for us to see by. Unfortunately, some of the things we see are things we would rather remain hidden. The moon throws our deepest fears into sharp relief, yet also shines light on the way to overcome them. If you don't have it already, try getting a hold of 'Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot' by Lon Milo DuQuette. If you use the Thoth regularly, its well worth the $25...

Yeah, I had a stalker prob at the old place so I started this new one up and I think last week I creaked it open to some people who I read religiously (like you) and was feeling guilty about being a taker and not a sharer. Down, girl! The bat bit you? Goodness. I have bats (well, not personally, but you take my point) but they do everything possible to avoid contct with people, the shy little buggers that they are. On the other hand, if a fruit-bat (or flying fox) bit you, it would hurt very much. But pretty much the worst you could expect from one of them is that it would pee on you, from a great height. Argh -- this totally sucks. It reminds me of the time I hit a burro driving my drunk dad home when I was 15. Totally not my fault -- and yes, the burro was okay. I barely tapped him. Anyway, it's hard when you have to explain crap like that to kids and with a ceramic-induced headache to boot? Not cool.

I really enjoyed this cheese-pot entry, darling; have fun with the hocus-pocus. I personally never worry too much about the "harm none" business - I figure that if someone's going to try to shaft me, I'm going to go after them and hunt them down. In the nicest possible way, of course. Love, R xxx

Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Perhaps those who don't "suffer" so were overlooked by me since they aren't the "obvious" ones. The people I've known w/ it were very much stricken (all in chairs and unable to feed themselves or really do much except work the automatic chairs). Anyway, I did a ritual with lots of singing tonight for Healing Circle and I'm getting my focus back on helping her than worrying about it. One's rather unhelpful and the other is helpful. I'd rather be the latter! Thanks again and good luck at market!
from hissandtell :
Hmmm. For the past week, I've been getting lots of French language referrers on my stats page too. Oh, and I loved your photographs - thank you for sharing them. Love, R xxx

from ilmomof3 :
Thanks so much for your comments in my diary today. It was a good reminder that, hello, I COULD do something about some of this. We had a release ritual right after Jasmine's death, but we haven't done anything since. Maybe it's time. Peace to you.

Hey- what's with the formatting? Words & paragraphs are overlapping, can't make out 1/2 of your entry. You cut your very long hair to donate to make a sick child a wig- that's great! You have such healthy, fast-growing hair. XX, ccc

ok, there's my list- imperfectly there!

I'm glad they did this. I don't see the point in fighting a war on terror if the terrorists have already caused our government to shred the very constitution they're supposed to defend...

I am amazed you have stayed in this relationship for so long. It cannot be helping your health or A's. I hope you find the strength to leave him soon...

Your last few posts have had a very different feel to them. Is it the holidays or are you really going to cut him loose? Truthfully, it does sound like you've crossed a line that has no way back. (((hugs to you))) I wish you and yours love.

Do you have a chunk of lepidolite? Try falling asleep, holding it in your left hand while chanting your belief in the positive aspects of HOPE and HONESTY. I also sense that you might be waking up at 4:00a.m."to receive a message." A small carnelian under your pillow may leave you more receptive to blink! opening your eyes at 4:00 a.m. to a KNOWING that is speaking to you. Amazing what receiving a KNOWING can do for a sleep cycle, yes? ;o)
from thundersnow :
DO keep in mind, as you work your way through your sad situation, that YOU also have followed the pattern of marrying someone who resembles your father/mother. So what do YOU want to do with that revelation other than resort to ineffective blame and anger? I wish you thoughts of proactive energy to empower your OWN choices and actions in this situation; you can create your own freedom, you know. Believe in your deservability and get on with it, then!
