Hey man, I saw part of that documentary. Was that documentary based in texas or alabama? Anyway, whichever way it goes texas has similar views and ways of dealing with pre-marital sex and they have the highest teen pregnancy rate in the U.S. Seems to me that the harder you try to enforce things on people the more, and more radicaly, they're going to rebel. Hey Sketch, I don't really know what to say about your opinion on the music. Before I was saved I listened to music such as NIN, Tool, Disturbed, and other bands that either did not glorify God or completely trashed his name. Thank God that even before I was saved, I discovered what I really liked and that heavy music wasn't on the list. My early youth had been a facade. Nowadays, my musical passion is in the classical area. Even classical music has got between God and I at times. It is my college major (classical trumpet performance and music education). Throughout this entire last semester I was giving all the love I had to symphonic music and giving so much time to my trumpet and the glory would all be mine. I gave almost nothing to God. I totally agree with ur view on music.....I have a lot of friends in youth who've decided to shut out any interest in secular music or anything not Christian....recently I sang a song in church that I loved that I felt was very spiritual and was of great value in my faith in the Lord. It was a Celine Dion song...I'm not saying that it's a heavy rock secular thing like Metalica but I get it. If u close ur eyes to wat God could use to influence u, u can miss out in something. Music is a powerful thing....its open for our hearts to take as u wish.

Just read your post about bullying and wanted to say that I agree with you. I was bullied for longer than I care to remember and the effects are with me to this day, no amountof counselling or whatever will change that. People start all these charities and the idea is nice but there's no point in trying to fix things afterwards, its too late. Anyway... God bless xx

Hey! Sorry you didnt like it much. I loved it. Not their best or anything, but I still thought it was very VERY Coen-esque. One cna just tell.. "Yeah, thats the Coen Brothers" haha. That guy at the beginning cracked up my boyfriend and I. We were the only ones laughing in the theather (it wasnt that crowded though; second week open) but he (boyfriend) is exactly like that: loved Simon and Garfunkel, sings loudly in the car, messes up the lyrics, and is WAY PFF on the cues. "Lye la lye! *drum sound*" That was great. Okay, thats all for now ;)
