hmm...well I am not christian, or Catholic by far, but I am anti abortion. Ofcourse not in the case of rape and incest. I think allowing anyone to get an abortion for any reason seems to imply you can practice unsafe sex, accidently get knocked up as many times as you want and not have to ever suffer any consequences. Doesn't really seem fair to punish a baby for ones own stupidity. However my opinion could be biased because I am a mother with another on the way. Just wanted to offer you a non-religious view point.

"We watched a woman drag a groundhog off the street by its tail as it struggled to escape" -this is possibly the oddest line in a blog yet! WHY was she doing such a thing? I'm hoping for the groundhog's own good??

Hopefully there will be photos of this journey. Sounds like a lot of fun!!!

Gawd! You R busy and quite the social butterfly, eh? Love the "tesy raccoon" line - don't know why but it strikes me humorously...

I am disappointed that you and Eugene did not in fact make that a nude beach and show us the photographic evidence! ;-)

Funny because I have the blues owing to the fact that we've had virtually NO snow here and two days ago it was 62 degrees! Luckily the weekend before last we were in northern NH where there was more than enough snow on the ground...
Keep your chin up! Every lonely cold winter is followed by a rebirth in spring. It's not so far away!!

Heh heh, PED (Post Eugene Doldrums)...I've got a new one for you: Ew (Eugene withdrawals). So now when someone says "How are you?", you can say "Ew". :o)

Congratulations on standing up for yourself! What a shame that your poor brother-in-law will feel uncomfortable. He's a big boy, he can learn to deal with it. It's his problem, no one else's.
Hope you and Eugene have a great holiday!

Good for you to stand up for what is right! It IS Skip's problem. He's the one who has to deal with his own feelings (radical thought, eh?). And quite honestly who's to say it would EVER be the right time for him. Enjoy your holidays with Eugene AND your family!!

Just catching up on some of your entries. The day you wrote about your Aunt Janice was especially poignant. I'm sorry for your loss...the person and the connection. My thoughts are with you.

I loved Pan's Labyrinth although I do agree it was nothing of what I thought it would be...and I probably won't be watching it again anytime soon.
I found it disturbing and emotionally gutting but satisfyingly unconventional with a powerful message on the strength of innocence and the human spirit.
I'm no film scholar but it really did hit me hard and will, as you say, stay with me for quite some time.
Hope you're having a good day!!

That road by the river looks like a perfect spot for biking! All the riding you've been doing sounds like fun. For me, it's a painless way to keep fit - so enjoyable that I almost don't notice the workout.

I think In Cold Blood is a really well-written book. If you see the original film made back in the sixties, it was filmed in the actual house where the murders took place... and the actors all look eerily like the photos I've seen of the people they play. It's definitely worth seeing if you've read the book. (Also the house was up for auction online recently. I take it you didn't bid!)

We have a day like that, only it celebrates the signing over of copious amounts of indigenous land in exchange for blankets, guns and cookware.

Oh or whoa
I read too much, I do too much coca
It seem like the girl who past away in my dreams;
But alive in other wordssssssss; not hers, because scare of nothing
Como te digo mami soy yo
Te amo
Ve y dile a jcesar or t, that I am desperate
My sweet baby
Words without rime
Sense of unconscious mind
Sincere are mind, for any body to understand
I don’t have anything to hide
You can write and answer yourself
I am a maniac, intelligent, freak, capable, psychologist, therapist, drudged
Writer, musician, lover, sick, abnormal, so far beyond, but I am jc
Give me the inspiration to succeed.
Baby please, so please byba, like es in to ans so , ex of hwo, or how,
What is that? Confusion
Not for me
So it will be a day
I and she will meet on the other side, no so yet
I will die first, she needs to raise her creatures, j,j,j. love
But then underground; will born again the greatest love
Shame for nobody, because I am wasting my visual life to ignorance victims
For myself, I have a bottle big enough, and so it was, but it broke
I can write, more, more, because it broke
Do you, or not, simple enough, love for you, and I hate you. (I don’t know how to hate you)
I am desperate. I do drugs, and I write. Please fall in love with the person who writes.

I don't believe that Americans really do embrace individuality and choice...in fact I may go so far as to say that we really are terrified of it...we pretend that we want it but deep down, and the actions of the majority of Americans will support this, we want everything and everyone exactly as we are...the so called choices we have are really just the same things dressed in different wrappers. I find this absolutely terrifying when I really begin to think about it*******on a separate matter...congratulations on the move and the new found sense of peace...may it live in you always...

Hi Scott, thanks for the note, I appreciate your comments. I totally think that power to simplify our lives and bring fulfillment into our life is all within our grip. I have a wonderful relationship and many wonderful things in my life but I have yet to realize how to bring that innocent passion for the little day to day things back into my life. I'm working on it though...
