Jessi, I can't understand how hard this must be for you. I know it must be tearing you up, you love him, but you dont know if you can forgive him. Can you trust him anymore? All these things racing through your head. I can't offer any advice, things are a little confusing for me as well. My mind is racing. All I can say is that you are an incredibly strong, independent woman. Or at least, that's what I see when I think of you. I hope everything works out for you, fo rthe best, and you find happiness, wherever it may come from.

::sigh:: I, like you, am pining after someone I should force myself to give up on because after confessing my feelings he gave me a big hug and told me he loved me because I was one of his best friends, and nothing more. So while most people would encourage you to move on and leave the memories as just that, memories, and while that honestly may be the healthy thing to do, I can't imagine letting go of my guy that easily or ever stop hoping that somehow something will happen between us. And you and he had more than my friend and I ever will, no matter how much I wish otherwise, and if you gave up on that without talking to him first I would question how seriously you take the word love. If, after talking, you see that it really is over and he really is happy then let yourself grieve, eat lots and lots of ice cream, listen to lots of breakup songs and write lots of crappy poetry. But don't break out the Ben and Jerry's just yet.
God, I'm sure I had a point in there somewhere...just not sure where I put it...
