Andrew has been in since we got married when we were 18 and we are 23 now. He is in Iraq and in the Infantry and it is terrifying sometimes. He is not allowed to disclose to me what he is doing and I spend alot of sleepless night wondering what he is doing and if he is OK! Things will be OK! Trust in that. Try not to worry. As you may know from reading my diary Andrew is now in Iraq and it is hard but I am very proud! Andrew did all of his Basic Training in Ft. Benning and it is a GREAT place. What MOS did he go into? Andrew is Infantry and Ft. Benning is primarilary an infantry base that is why I ask. If you ever need someone to talk to or have questions to ask feel free, I've been doing this for 5 years now. Just remeber write him often getting letters everyday is the onl thing that will get him through. Chin Up!

Sweetie--it's not you. Your little one has just hit "that stage".. the stage where throwing metal objects at people's heads is extremely entertaining and certainly worth the consequences. Since I'm not a mommy yet myself (soon!!:), I only have my childcare experience to rely on, but it seems that consistency and patience is the key here. He's testing you (isn't that fun?) and he *will* grow out of it. It's not a sign of you being a bad mom--to me, the fact that you're worried about it is a sign you're a <i>good</i> mom! :) (You'd be amazed at the parents who don't notice/care!)

OOOOOOOOO, I know about the hitting subject!!! I learned this at school (because I went to a school for teenaged mothers). When he hits, you're just supposed to say no and distract him with something else, or you can try the "uh-oh song", which is just saying the song "Uh-oh, looks like a little playpen time coming up for Taylor, this is so sad" and putting him in his playpen for about a minute, But if he cries, you have to leave him in there until he is calm, even if he cries himself to sleep, which he probably will, and then when he's calm, you take him out and hug him and say "look how calm you are!" and eventually he'll catch on. There's a little love and logic for ya.

What a douche. :/ Congrats on Taylor taking cereal. I mix Corbin's really thin and put it in a bottle with some sugar. Some veteran moms I know suggest adding fruit paste babyfood, breast milk, sugar, etc. to the cereal so it won't be so bland. Corbin will eat fruit and cereal sometimes but mostly he just wants breast milk still, which is good. :)

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
